如是我聞。一時佛在王舍城鷲峰山中。與大比丘眾五十百千人俱。

復有諸大菩薩摩訶薩。皆是一切白法具足。得無量智善巧方便能師子吼。其名曰。

普賢菩薩摩訶薩。寶印手菩薩摩訶薩。嬉戲菩薩摩訶薩。功德莊嚴菩薩摩訶薩。福德音聲菩薩摩訶薩。大意菩薩摩訶薩。德嚴菩薩摩訶薩。如是等菩薩摩訶薩眾皆來集會。

爾時世尊以大慈大悲。普為現在未來諸修行人。欲脩金剛薩埵秘密相應法。速疾成就者。宣說金剛界大曼拏羅法。

佛言若有善男子。欲入金剛界大曼拏羅。修習普賢金剛薩埵相應秘密法。速疾成就者。先當發起勇猛堅固殊勝之心。求彼世間清凈勝師。請受灌頂已。于彼師處傳受秘密相應印契儀法。一一不謬專注記憶勿令忘誤。然後隨欲于清凈勝處。修習是法以求悉地。得勝處已。先當澡浴清凈嚴潔身心。便於彼處先結界護身。然後依法以香泥塗曼拏羅極令如法。涂畢便於此曼拏羅中。燒香散華種種供養。向此曼拏羅作觀想。想彼曼拏羅中有本尊如來。得現前已不起于座。即取涂

那時,世尊以大慈大悲之心,爲了現在和未來的一切修行人,想要修習金剛薩埵(Vajrasattva)秘密相應之法,迅速獲得成就的人,宣說金剛界大曼拏羅(Vajradhātu Mahāmaṇḍala)之法。

佛說:『如果有善男子,想要進入金剛界大曼拏羅,修習普賢金剛薩埵(Samantabhadra Vajrasattva)相應秘密之法,迅速獲得成就,首先應當發起勇猛、堅固、殊勝之心,尋求世間清凈殊勝的阿阇梨(guru),請求接受灌頂之後,從阿阇梨處傳授秘密相應印契儀法,一一不差地專注記憶,不要忘記或錯誤。然後,隨自己的意願,在清凈殊勝之處,修習此法以求悉地(siddhi)。得到殊勝之處后,首先應當沐浴,清凈嚴謹地潔凈身心,然後就在那個地方先結界護身,然後依法用香泥塗曼拏羅,務必使其如法。塗好之後,就在此曼拏羅中,燒香、散花,進行種種供養,向此曼拏羅作觀想,觀想彼曼拏羅中有本尊如來。得到如來現身之後,不要離開座位,立即取』

【English Translation】 English version 《Buddha Speaks of Samantabhadra Mandala Sutra》

Translated by Tripiṭaka Dharma Master Shi Hu, Minister of the Honglu Temple and Great Officer of the Court of Imperial Sacrifices, under Imperial Decree

Thus have I heard. At one time, the Buddha was in the Vulture Peak Mountain in Rajagriha, together with a great assembly of fifty hundred thousand Bhikshus.

There were also many great Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, all of whom were complete with all pure Dharmas, possessed immeasurable wisdom, were skilled in expedient means, and capable of roaring like lions. Their names were:

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Mahasattva, Ratnamudrāhasta Bodhisattva Mahasattva, Lalitā Bodhisattva Mahasattva, Guṇālaṃkāra Bodhisattva Mahasattva, Puṇyaghoṣa Bodhisattva Mahasattva, Mahāmati Bodhisattva Mahasattva, Guṇa-alaṃkāra Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Such Bodhisattva Mahasattvas and others all came to assemble.

At that time, the World-Honored One, with great compassion and great pity, for the sake of all practitioners in the present and future who wished to practice the secret corresponding Dharma of Vajrasattva (Vajrasattva), and to quickly attain accomplishment, expounded the Dharma of the great Mandala (Mahāmaṇḍala) of the Vajradhātu (Vajradhātu).

The Buddha said: 'If there is a good man who wishes to enter the great Mandala of the Vajradhātu, to practice the corresponding secret Dharma of Samantabhadra Vajrasattva, and to quickly attain accomplishment, he should first arouse a courageous, firm, and supreme mind, seek a pure and supreme Acharya (guru) in the world, request and receive initiation, and then receive from the Acharya the secret corresponding Mudra (Mudra) and ritual methods, remembering each one attentively without error, and not forgetting or mistaking them. Then, according to his desire, in a pure and supreme place, he should practice this Dharma to seek Siddhi (siddhi). Having obtained a supreme place, he should first bathe, purify, and meticulously cleanse his body and mind. Then, in that place, he should first establish boundaries and protect himself. Then, according to the Dharma, he should use fragrant mud to paint the Mandala, ensuring that it is in accordance with the Dharma. After painting, he should burn incense, scatter flowers, and make various offerings in this Mandala. He should visualize this Mandala, visualizing that there is the principal deity Tathagata (Tathagata) in the Mandala. Having obtained the manifestation of the Tathagata, he should not rise from his seat, and immediately take』


香涂手。結印及念密言。次結凈三業印。二手金剛掌三誦本密言。

唵(引)娑嚩(二合)婆(引)嚩秫馱(引)薩哩嚩(二合)達哩摩(二合)娑嚩(二合)婆(引)嚩秫度憾

誦此密言已散印。復言我今自無始已來。所有一切粗重身口意業。今已清凈。既清凈已。愿今所作一切事業。則為入彼金剛法因。然更作意觀于本尊如來。愿我所作事業皆得成就便歸命讚歎。即誦密言曰。

唵(引)薩哩嚩(二合)怛他誐多(引)迦(引)野嚩枳唧(二合)多缽啰(二合)拏昧嚩日啰(二合)滿那喃迦(引)嚕弭

誦此密言已。即以四種禮禮曼拏羅中本尊如來。禮已長跪。作金剛合掌而說是言。我今發無上菩提心。惟愿應正等覺三世之師方便攝受。令我正得三種學戒。為諸眾生以金剛堅固力。住持三寶利樂眾生。我今于如來金剛界金剛薩埵真如相應秘密法中。從阿阇梨受大金剛族。於六時修習行四種施法。于大寶族受平等相應法。于大蓮華族受三乘微妙秘密法。于大事業族受具足一切供養事業。從清凈真如生大菩提法。我發無上菩提心。受如是法已當依法修習。為一切眾生而作饒益。所有一切眾生無主宰者為作主宰。未解脫者令得解脫。未安樂者令得安樂。未到彼岸者令到彼岸。行者發願已。即誦

【English Translation】 English version: Anoint the hands with incense. Form a mudra (印, hand gesture) and recite the mantra. Next, form the mudra for purifying the three karmas. With hands in the vajra (金剛, diamond/thunderbolt) palm mudra, recite the root mantra three times: 'Oṃ sarva-svabhāva-śuddhāḥ sarva-dharmāḥ sarva-svabhāva-śuddho 'ham' After reciting this mantra, release the mudra. Then say: 'From beginningless time, all my gross physical, verbal, and mental karmas are now purified. Having been purified, may all the actions I now perform become the cause for entering the vajra dharma.' Then, focus your mind on visualizing the Tathagata (如來, Thus-gone-one) as the principal deity, wishing that all your actions may be accomplished, and then take refuge and praise. Recite the mantra: 'Oṃ sarva-tathāgata-kāya-vāk-citta-praṇāme vajra-vandanāṁ karomi' After reciting this mantra, offer the four types of prostrations to the Tathagata, the principal deity in the mandala (壇城, sacred diagram). After prostrating, kneel with the hands in the vajra-joined-palms mudra and say: 'I now generate the unsurpassed bodhicitta (菩提心, mind of enlightenment). I beseech the perfectly enlightened teacher of the three times to compassionately accept me, enabling me to correctly obtain the three trainings. For all sentient beings, with the vajra-firm strength, I will uphold the Three Jewels (三寶, Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), benefiting and bringing joy to sentient beings. Now, in the secret dharma corresponding to the Suchness of Vajrasattva (金剛薩埵, Diamond Being) in the Vajra Realm of the Tathagata, I receive the great vajra family from the ācārya (阿阇梨, teacher), practicing the four types of giving at six times. In the great jewel family, I receive the dharma corresponding to equality. In the great lotus family, I receive the subtle secret dharma of the three vehicles. In the great karma family, I receive the karma of fully providing all offerings. From pure Suchness, may the great bodhi dharma arise. I generate the unsurpassed bodhicitta. Having received this dharma, I shall practice according to the dharma, benefiting all sentient beings. For all sentient beings who have no lord, I will be their lord. Those who are not liberated, I will liberate. Those who are not at peace, I will bring peace. Those who have not reached the other shore, I will lead to the other shore.' 摩吒于兩目  應觀為日月  二手金剛拳  各安於腰側  曼拏與香華  及余供養具  因此目瞻視  去垢成清凈

金剛視密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)捺哩(二合)瑟致(二合)摩吒

二手金剛縛。能解諸結使。凈第八識中。一切雜染種。金剛縛密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)滿馱(三說)

以此印誦密言故。當得自身無始已來一切結使之縛悉皆解脫。當令修習一切功德圓滿。次即以縛印于當心磔開。複誦密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)滿馱怛啰(二合)吒(半音)

以此印及誦密言。當得自性金剛智慧頓顯發故。即以金剛鈴三振已。即次觀自身中。有惡字輪顯發。有大威德。以是之故當使一切魔障不能惱亂。復得金剛堅固心不退轉。得一切成就。次誦心密言曰。

賀賀賀賀斛

誦心密言已。即入金剛薩埵堅固智。觀想盡虛空界一切性悉皆平等。同彼十六音聲。次觀想自心成圓月輪。于月輪中想迦字。得字了了分明現已復想月輪外有一迦字。如星旋繞得現前已。復想迦字。心月輪中生一金剛蓮華。又於此蓮華中心出蓮華印。於此印上觀一憾字。得字了了分明現已。復觀自身等同金剛薩埵無異無別不動不搖。即擲

以此手印及誦持密言,應當獲得自性金剛智慧頓然顯發。接著就用金剛鈴(Vajra-ghanta)三振之後,就接著觀自身中,有惡字輪顯發,有大威德。因為這個緣故,應當使一切魔障不能惱亂。又得金剛堅固心不退轉,得一切成就。接著誦心密言曰:

賀賀賀賀斛(He He He He Hum)

誦心密言后,即入金剛薩埵(Vajrasattva)堅固智。觀想盡虛空界一切自性悉皆平等,同彼十六音聲。接著觀想自心成為圓月輪,于月輪中想迦(Ka)字,得字了了分明現已,復想月輪外有一迦(Ka)字,如星旋繞得現前已。復想迦(Ka)字,心月輪中生一金剛蓮華。又於此蓮華中心出蓮華印,於此印上觀一憾(Ham)字,得字了了分明現已。復觀自身等同金剛薩埵(Vajrasattva)無異無別不動不搖。即擲

【English Translation】 English version The secret words of Vajra vision.

Mata (eyes) on both eyes, should be viewed as the sun and moon; Both hands in Vajra-fist mudra, each placed on the waist; Mandala (sacred circle) and incense, flowers, and other offerings; Therefore, gazing with these eyes, remove defilements and become pure.

The secret words of Vajra vision say:

Om Vajra Drishti Mata

Both hands in Vajra-bandha mudra, able to untie all knots of affliction, purify all impure seeds in the eighth consciousness (Alaya-vijnana). The secret words of Vajra-bandha say:

Om Vajra Bandha (say three times)

By this mudra and recitation of the secret words, one should obtain the complete liberation from the bonds of all afflictions from beginningless time. One should cause the practice of all merits to be perfected. Then, with the binding mudra, open it at the heart, and recite the secret words:

Om Vajra Bandha Trah

By this mudra and recitation of the secret words, one should obtain the sudden manifestation of the Vajra wisdom of one's own nature. Then, after shaking the Vajra-ghanta (bell) three times, one should then contemplate within oneself the manifestation of the 'Ah' syllable wheel, possessing great power and virtue. Because of this, one should cause all demonic obstacles to be unable to disturb. One also obtains a Vajra-firm mind that does not regress, and obtains all accomplishments. Then recite the heart secret words:

He He He He Hum

After reciting the heart secret words, one enters the firm wisdom of Vajrasattva. Contemplate that all natures in the entire space realm are equal, the same as the sixteen sounds. Then contemplate one's own mind becoming a round moon disc. Within the moon disc, visualize the syllable 'Ka', obtaining the clear and distinct manifestation of the syllable. Again, visualize a 'Ka' syllable outside the moon disc, revolving like a star until it appears before you. Again, visualize the 'Ka' syllable, and a Vajra lotus flower arises within the moon disc of the heart. Also, from the center of this lotus flower, a lotus mudra emerges. On this mudra, visualize the syllable 'Ham', obtaining the clear and distinct manifestation of the syllable. Again, contemplate oneself as being equal to Vajrasattva, without difference, without separation, unmoving, and unshaken. Then throw


金剛杵作如是言。我今不易此身。從金剛法生為金剛薩埵。次又想自身成大三摩耶薩埵。即結金剛大三摩耶印。誦密言曰。

即以前三摩耶印。印心額喉頂。次結世尊大印誦密言曰。

複誦密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)達哩摩(二合)呬哩(二合)

由此印密言故令我身口意成金剛三業。次結成就大印誦密言曰。

唵(引)三摩耶惡

次想前心月輪中。金剛法惡字輪及蓮華。乃至蓮華中憾字。一一皆是我金剛法自性身中所顯發故。如是想已。即結金剛鉤印。以二手作金剛拳。以二小指反相鉤。二頭指屈如鉤。誦密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)俱舍𠺁

次結金剛索印。不改前印。即以二頭指反相鉤。是名索印。即誦密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)播(引)舍吽

次結金剛鎖印。以二手內相叉。是名金剛鎖。即誦密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)娑普(二合)吒鑁

次結金剛鈴印。二手金剛縛。三振如振鈴。是名金剛鈴。即誦密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)吠舍惡

次觀自身同金剛薩

【English Translation】 English version The Vajra-holder spoke thus: 'I will not change this body now. From the Vajra Dharma, I will be born as Vajrasattva (Vajrasattva, the Bodhisattva of Vajrayana).' Then, visualize oneself as Mahasamayasattva (Mahasamayasattva, the Great Samaya Being). Immediately form the Vajra Mahasamaya Mudra (Vajra Mahasamaya Mudra, the Great Vajra Samaya Hand Seal), and recite the mantra: 'Om Samayuh Hum Maha Samayuh Hum' Then, use the previous Samaya Mudra to seal the heart, forehead, throat, and crown. Next, form the Tathagata Mahamudra (Tathagata Mahamudra, the Great Seal of the Tathagata), and recite the mantra: 'Om Samaya Sattva Adhitistha Svaha' Recite the mantra again: 'Om Vajra Dharma Hrih' Because of this mudra and mantra, may my body, speech, and mind become the three Vajra karmas. 誦此密言已。即復觀自心成圓月輪。想自身入此月輪。成大金剛薩埵。即誦密言曰。

次誦金剛法密言曰。

唵(引)嚩日啰(二合)達哩摩(二合)呬哩(二合)

誦此密言已。復觀前心月輪變成赤色。中有本尊如來相好殊異。目如蓮葉作微笑容。慈悲歡喜安詳而住。如是觀已。次結四如來三昧耶密印。各以本真言而用加持身。先結金剛薩埵印。二手作金剛縛。二中指豎如針。名金剛薩埵印。此印安於心。即誦密言曰。

唵(引)薩哩嚩(二合)嚩日哩(二合)阿地底瑟姹(二合)娑嚩(二合)𤚥

不改前印相。以二中指屈如寶。是名金剛寶。此印印于額。即誦密言曰。
