夫修善福臻，為惡禍徴；明理皎然，而信悟者鮮。既共生此五濁惡世，五陰煩惱、三毒熾盛，輪轉生死無有竟已。昔佛在世時，人民數如恒沙，今漸凋微萬不遺一。何以故爾？為善者少，作惡者多，死墮三塗，悉為魚蟲畜生，不復得人身。故《法華經》云：「三惡道充滿，天人眾減少，劫盡不久，長衰可悲。」是以如來，隨方教化，敦慈尚善，不吝軀命，勤行精進，可得勉度。禮拜俄頃之勞，能卻無量劫罪。罪滅福生，以致無為。此未來星宿劫中，當有千佛出世，名字如是。若人聞名，一心禮事，不生懈怠，必得涅槃，永離三塗生死之患，安住慈忍，具足多聞。若能受持習誦之者，是人則必歷值千佛，獲滅無量阿僧祇劫生死重罪，得諸佛神通三昧，無礙辯才。諸大法門、陀羅尼門，一切經書種種智慧，隨宜說法不自欺誑，離於名利勿懷嫉妒，行六和敬；一心奉持，無失是緣。如是行者，疾得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。

修習善事帶來福運，作惡則招致災禍；這個道理明明擺在那裡，但相信並覺悟的人卻很少。我們共同生活在這五濁惡世，受著五陰的煩惱、三毒的熾盛所苦，在生死輪迴中沒有止境。過去佛陀在世時，人民數量多如恒河沙，如今卻逐漸凋零衰微，一萬個人中也剩不下一個。這是什麼原因呢？因為為善的人少，作惡的人多，死後墮入地獄、餓鬼、畜生三惡道，變成魚蟲畜生，無法再獲得人身。所以《法華經》說：『三惡道充滿，天人眾減少，劫盡不久，長衰可悲。』因此，如來隨處教化，提倡慈悲和善良，不吝惜自己的身體和生命，勤奮修行精進，就可以勉強得到解脫。禮拜佛陀短暫的勞作，能夠消除無量劫的罪業。罪業消滅，福德增長，最終達到無為的境界。在這未來的星宿劫中，將有千佛出世，他們的名字是這樣的。如果有人聽到這些佛名，一心一意地禮敬供養，不生懈怠之心，必定能夠證得涅槃，永遠脫離三惡道的生死之苦，安住在慈悲和忍辱之中，具備廣博的知識。如果能夠受持讀誦這部經，這個人必定能夠經歷千佛出世，獲得消滅無量阿僧祇劫生死重罪的功德，得到諸佛的神通三昧，以及無礙的辯才。對於各種大法門、陀羅尼門，一切經書中的種種智慧，能夠根據情況適宜地說法，不自欺欺人，遠離名利，不要懷有嫉妒之心，奉行六和敬；一心一意地奉持，不要錯過這個機緣。像這樣修行的人，很快就能證得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提（無上正等正覺）。

【English Translation】 English version The Sutra of the Names of the Thousand Buddhas of the Future Constellation Kalpa (also known as The Mountain of Great Merits of the Collection of All Buddhas)

Cultivating good fortune brings blessings, while doing evil invites disaster; the principle is clear, yet few believe and awaken. We are born together in this world of five turbidities, suffering from the afflictions of the five skandhas, the intense flames of the three poisons, endlessly revolving in the cycle of birth and death. In the past, when the Buddha was in the world, the number of people was like the sands of the Ganges, but now it has gradually withered and declined, with not even one in ten thousand remaining. Why is this so? Because few do good, and many do evil, falling into the three evil realms after death, becoming fish, insects, and animals, unable to regain human form. Therefore, the Lotus Sutra says: 'The three evil paths are full, the assembly of gods and humans is decreasing, the end of the kalpa is near, and long decline is lamentable.' Therefore, the Tathagata (Thus Come One, Buddha) teaches everywhere, advocating compassion and goodness, not sparing his body and life, diligently practicing with vigor, so that one can barely attain liberation. The brief labor of bowing in reverence can eliminate the sins of countless kalpas. Sins are extinguished, blessings are born, and ultimately one reaches the state of non-action. In this future Constellation Kalpa, there will be a thousand Buddhas appearing in the world, and their names are as follows. If one hears these names, wholeheartedly reveres and serves them, without laziness, one will surely attain Nirvana, forever escaping the suffering of birth and death in the three evil realms, dwelling in compassion and forbearance, possessing vast knowledge. If one can receive, uphold, recite, and study this sutra, that person will surely encounter the thousand Buddhas, obtain the merit of extinguishing the heavy sins of birth and death for countless asamkhya (innumerable) kalpas, and attain the samadhi (meditative absorption) of the supernatural powers of the Buddhas, as well as unobstructed eloquence. Regarding all the great Dharma (teachings) doors, dharani (mantra) doors, all the various wisdoms in the scriptures, one can preach according to the circumstances, without deceiving oneself, staying away from fame and profit, not harboring jealousy, practicing the six harmonies; wholeheartedly upholding this, do not miss this opportunity. One who practices in this way will quickly attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi (unsurpassed, right, and perfect enlightenment).

若有族姓子女，聞是諸佛世尊名號，歡喜信樂，持諷誦讀而不誹謗，或能書寫為他人說，或能造作立其形像，或能供養香華妓樂，嘆佛功德至心作禮者，勝用十方諸佛國土，滿中珍寶、純摩尼珠，積至梵天，百千劫中而佈施者。是輩族姓子女，前已曾供養是如來已，其人後生得此功德，至於作佛而無窮盡，皆當爲賢劫中佛之所授決。其人所生之處，常遇三寶，得生諸佛剎土，六情完具、不墮八難，三十二相、八十種好疾得具足，若能一過五體投地而為作禮，口自宣言：「我今普禮一切十方三世諸佛。」至千佛過然後乃起，所得福祐如上所說。持此功德，愿共一切五道眾生，其無常者，生無量壽佛國，立大誓願，使諸眾生悉生彼剎。生彼剎已，身諸相好、智慧辯才，如眾世尊阿彌陀佛，所獲果報亦如世尊。

If there are sons or daughters of good families who hear the names of these Buddhas, the World Honored Ones, and rejoice in faith, upholding, reciting, and reading them without slander, or who are able to write them down and explain them to others, or who are able to create their images, or who are able to make offerings of incense, flowers, and music, praising the Buddhas' merits and sincerely paying homage, it is superior to using the treasures and pure Mani jewels that fill the Buddha lands of the ten directions, piled up to the Brahma heaven, and giving them away in hundreds of thousands of kalpas. These sons and daughters of good families have already made offerings to these Tathagatas in the past, and they will receive such merit in their future lives, which will be inexhaustible until they become Buddhas. They shall all be predicted by the Buddhas of the Bhadrakalpa. The places where they are born will always encounter the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), they will be born in the Buddha lands, their six senses will be complete and without defect, they will not fall into the Eight Difficulties, and they will quickly attain the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks. If they can prostrate themselves once with their five limbs touching the ground and declare: 'I now universally pay homage to all the Buddhas of the ten directions and the three times,' and only rise after paying homage to the thousand Buddhas, the blessings they receive will be as described above. Holding this merit, may we share it with all beings in the five paths, so that those who are impermanent may be born in the land of the Buddha of Immeasurable Life, and make a great vow to enable all beings to be born in that land.
