如是我聞：
一時佛在舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園，與大比丘僧及余無量眾俱，前後圍繞。
爾時長老舍利弗即從坐起，偏袒右肩，右膝著地，合掌向佛，以偈請曰：
「大威德世尊， 愿為我等說， 右繞于佛塔， 所得之果報。」
爾時世尊以偈答曰：
「右繞于佛塔， 所得諸功德， 我今說少分， 汝等咸善聽。 一切諸天龍， 夜叉鬼神等， 皆親近供養， 斯由右繞塔。 在在所生處， 遠離於八難， 常生無難處， 斯由右繞塔。 於一切生處， 念慧常無失， 具足妙色相， 斯由右繞塔。 往來天人中， 福命悉長遠， 常獲大名稱， 斯由右繞塔。 在於閻浮提， 常生最尊勝， 清凈種姓中， 斯由右繞塔。 儀貌常端正， 富貴多財寶， 恒食大封邑， 斯由右繞塔。 財寶常盈積， 而無慳吝心， 勇猛廣惠施， 斯由右繞塔。 色相凈微妙， 見者皆欣仰， 所住常安樂， 斯由右繞塔。 或為忉利王， 妻子

【English Translation】 English version The Sutra of the Merit of Circumambulating the Stupa to the Right
Translated under imperial decree by the Tripiṭaka Master Śikṣānanda (Śikṣānanda) from the Kingdom of Khotan during the Great Zhou Dynasty.
Thus have I heard:
At one time, the Buddha was in the Jetavana-anāthapiṇḍada-ārāma in Śrāvastī, surrounded by a large assembly of monks and countless other beings.
Then, the Elder Śāriputra (Śāriputra) rose from his seat, bared his right shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with palms joined, addressed the Buddha in verse, saying:
'O World-Honored One (Bhagavan) of great power and virtue, may you explain to us the karmic rewards obtained from circumambulating the stupa to the right.'
Thereupon, the World-Honored One replied in verse, saying:
'The various merits obtained from circumambulating the stupa to the right, I will now describe a small portion of them; listen well, all of you. All the devas (gods), nāgas (dragons), yakṣas (spirits), and other ghosts and spirits will draw near and make offerings; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. In every place of rebirth, one will be far from the eight difficulties, and will always be born in places free from difficulty; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. In all places of birth, mindfulness and wisdom will never be lost, and one will be endowed with beautiful features; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Coming and going between the heavens and the human realm, one's blessings and lifespan will be long and far-reaching, and one will always obtain great renown; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. In Jambudvīpa (the world), one will always be born into the most noble and superior, pure lineage; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. One's appearance will always be upright and dignified, one will be wealthy and possess much treasure, and one will constantly partake of the produce of large fiefs; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. One's treasures will always be abundant and accumulated, yet one will have no stinginess, and will courageously practice generosity; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. One's appearance will be pure and subtle, and all who see one will rejoice and admire; one's dwelling place will always be peaceful and happy; this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Or one may become a king of the Trāyastriṃśa (Heaven of Thirty-three), a wife'

Or being reborn as a Brahmin (Brahmin), upholding precepts, and being well-versed in all kinds of knowledge, Being proficient in mantras, spells, and the Vedas (Vedas), all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Or being reborn as a great elder, a wealthy and noble person with abundant property, The granaries are always full, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Or being reborn as a king who governs the country with righteous Dharma, freely ruling Jambudvipa (Jambudvipa), All the people on the land submit to his teachings, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Or becoming a Chakravartin (Chakravartin) king with great power, possessing the seven treasures, Guiding sentient beings with the ten wholesome deeds, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. After this life, being reborn in the heavens, always possessing great majestic power, Generating pure faith in the Buddha's Dharma, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. After pure faith is quickly accomplished, no longer having confusion about the Dharma, Seeing that all phenomena are empty, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. After abandoning life in the heavens, being reborn in the human realm, Not being confused when entering the womb, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. In the mother's womb, not being defiled by impurities, Like a pure Mani jewel (Mani jewel), all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. In the womb and at the time of birth, always bringing joy to the mother, It is the same when drinking milk, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Parents and relatives, all nurture him together, The wet nurse is always with him, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. All family members love and cherish him, more than they love their parents, Wealth and resources naturally increase, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Yakshas (Yakshas) and various evil ghosts cannot frighten him even slightly, The things he needs are naturally obtained, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas, his body gradually becomes pure, The wonderful appearance is accomplished and complete, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. The pure eyes are long and wide, like blue lotus flowers, And he obtains the pure divine eye, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. The wonderful form is always complete, and all the marks and characteristics naturally adorn him, Accomplishing great power, all this is due to circumambulating the stupa to the right.

Or be born in Brahmā (梵天), most free in the Brahma world, Always worshipped by the devas, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. For billions of nayutas (億那由他) of kalpas, always by wise people, Respectfully offered to, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Their body and clothes, for billions of kalpas, are always without defilement, Possessing complete pure Dharma, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Possessing great vigor, diligently cultivating various practices, Never having fatigue or懈怠, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Brave, always vigorous, firm and indestructible, What is done is quickly accomplished, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Deep and subtle sound, those who hear it are all delighted, Peaceful, always without illness, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. As I have expounded,厭舍 the suffering of the three realms of existence (三有), Accomplishing transcendent wisdom, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Always abiding in the four foundations of mindfulness (四念處), and the four right exertions (四正勤), The four bases of supernatural power (四如意神足), all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Understanding the four noble truths (四真諦), the roots, powers, and seven factors of enlightenment (七覺分), The right path and the holy fruit, all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right. Extinguishing all afflictions, possessing great power and virtue, The six supernormal powers without outflows (無漏六神通), all due to circumambulating the stupa to the right.
