【English Translation】 English version: Expounding separately on the Skandhas (aggregates), the declines (the five signs of decay), the various entrances (the twelve entrances, namely the six senses and six sense objects), and the twelve links of dependent origination (twelve nidānas), all these are causes of illness. The immeasurable perfections (the four immeasurables, namely loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity), the four equalities (same as the four immeasurables), and the four kinds of gratitude (gratitude to parents, gratitude to sentient beings, gratitude to the king, and gratitude to the Triple Gem) are great Dharma medicines for curing the illnesses of sentient beings. Pure like the void, bright surpassing the sunlight, virtue exceeding Mount Sumeru (Mount Sumeru), divinely sacred and majestic, none can slander.
Numerous sins are extinguished, and there are no more sufferings. With great loving-kindness and compassion, they deliver sentient beings in the ten directions.
When the Buddha spoke thus, the assembly of Bhikshus (monks) exhausted their outflows and their minds were liberated. Countless Bodhisattvas immediately attained the Anutpattika-dharma-kshanti (the patience with the non-arising of phenomena).
The Buddha spoke thus, and the Bhikshus, Bodhisattvas, Devas (gods), and Nagas (dragons) all rejoiced and practiced accordingly upon hearing what the Buddha had said.
