阿阇梨大曼荼攞灌頂儀軌

爾時,金剛手白佛言:「世尊!若有諸善男子、善女人入此大悲藏生大曼荼羅王三昧耶者,彼獲幾所福德聚?」

如是說已,佛告金剛手言:「秘密主!從初發心乃至成如來所有福德聚,是善男子、善女人福德聚與彼正等。秘密主!以此法門當如是知:彼善男子、善女人從如來口生,佛心之子。若是善男子、善女人所在方所,即為有佛施作佛事。是故,秘密主!若樂欲供養佛者,當供養此善男子、善女人。若樂欲見佛,即當觀彼能摧破魔軍、利樂一切。是故,汝等欲得一切如來真實智慧者,應當一心修行此法,能速成就一切智故。」(《法華》云「凈心信敬佛」;《凈名》云「從無量功德智慧生」)

加持五色線索,系其左臂。真言曰:

「(一)唵摩訶(引)嚩日啰迦嚩遮嚩日哩俱嚕嚩日啰嚩日啰憾」

「南無金剛界大聖毗盧遮那如來 南無東方阿閦如來 南無南方寶生如來 南無西方觀自在王如來 南無北方不空成就如來

「南無普賢金剛薩埵等盡虛空遍法界微塵剎土中帝綱重重三際一切菩薩摩訶薩。」

次復心念此密語護持諸弟子。

爾時,金剛手菩薩(Vajrapani)稟告佛陀說:『世尊!如果有善男子、善女人進入這大悲藏所生的廣大曼荼羅王三昧耶(Samaya,誓言)中,他們能獲得多少福德呢?』

說完之後,佛陀告訴金剛手菩薩說:『秘密主!從最初發菩提心乃至成就如來果位的所有福德,這位善男子、善女人的福德與此完全相等。秘密主!應當這樣理解這個法門:這位善男子、善女人是從如來的口中生出來的,是佛陀的心之子。如果這位善男子、善女人所在的處所,就如同有佛陀在那裡施行佛事一樣。因此,秘密主!如果有人樂意供養佛陀,就應當供養這位善男子、善女人。如果有人樂意見到佛陀,就應當觀察這位能夠摧破魔軍、利益安樂一切眾生的善男子、善女人。所以,你們想要獲得一切如來的真實智慧,就應當一心修行這個法門,因為它能迅速成就一切智慧。』(《法華經》說『以清凈心信敬佛』;《維摩詰經》說『從無量功德智慧生』)

加持五色線索,繫在弟子的左臂上。真言如下:

『(一)唵(Om)摩訶(Mahā,偉大的)嚩日啰(Vajra,金剛)迦嚩遮(Kavaca,盔甲)嚩日哩(Vajri,持金剛者)俱嚕(Kuru,作)嚩日啰(Vajra,金剛)嚩日啰(Vajra,金剛)憾(Hum)』

『南無金剛界大聖毗盧遮那如來(Vairocana Buddha) 南無東方阿閦如來(Akshobhya Buddha) 南無南方寶生如來(Ratnasambhava Buddha) 南無西方觀自在王如來(Amitabha Buddha) 南無北方不空成就如來(Amoghasiddhi Buddha)』

『南無普賢菩薩(Samantabhadra)金剛薩埵(Vajrasattva)等,遍佈盡虛空、遍法界、微塵剎土中,如帝網般重重無盡的三世一切菩薩摩訶薩。』

然後再次心念這個密語,以護持諸位弟子。

【English Translation】 English version Āchārya Great Mandala Abhisheka Ritual

At that time, Vajrapani (金剛手, the bodhisattva embodying the power of all Buddhas) said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One! If there are good men and good women who enter this Great Compassion Treasury, the Samaya (三昧耶, vow/pledge) of the Great Mandala King, how much merit will they obtain?'

Having said this, the Buddha told Vajrapani: 'Secret Lord! All the merit from the initial arising of Bodhicitta (菩提心, mind of enlightenment) up to the attainment of Tathagatahood (如來, thus-gone-one), the merit of these good men and good women is exactly equal to that. Secret Lord! This Dharma (法, teaching) should be understood as such: these good men and good women are born from the mouth of the Tathagata, they are the children of the Buddha's heart. If these good men and good women are present in a place, it is as if the Buddha is there performing Buddha-deeds. Therefore, Secret Lord! If one desires to make offerings to the Buddha, one should make offerings to these good men and good women. If one desires to see the Buddha, one should observe these good men and good women who can destroy the armies of Mara (魔, demon) and bring benefit and happiness to all beings. Therefore, if you wish to obtain the true wisdom of all Tathagatas, you should wholeheartedly practice this Dharma, for it can quickly accomplish all wisdom.' (The Lotus Sutra says, 'With a pure heart, believe and respect the Buddha'; the Vimalakirti Sutra says, 'Born from immeasurable merit and wisdom.')

Bless the five-colored thread and tie it to the disciple's left arm. The mantra is:

'(一)Om (唵) Mahā (摩訶, great) Vajra (嚩日啰, diamond/thunderbolt) Kavaca (迦嚩遮, armor) Vajri (嚩日哩, wielder of the vajra) Kuru (俱嚕, do) Vajra (嚩日啰, diamond/thunderbolt) Vajra (嚩日啰, diamond/thunderbolt) Hum (憾)'

'Namo (南無, Homage to) the Great Holy Vairocana Tathagata (毗盧遮那如來) of the Diamond Realm. Namo Akshobhya Tathagata (阿閦如來) of the East. Namo Ratnasambhava Tathagata (寶生如來) of the South. Namo Amitabha Tathagata (觀自在王如來) of the West. Namo Amoghasiddhi Tathagata (不空成就如來) of the North.'

'Namo Samantabhadra (普賢菩薩), Vajrasattva (金剛薩埵), and all the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas (菩薩摩訶薩) throughout the dust-mote lands of the boundless realms of space and Dharma, interconnected like the net of Indra, in all three times.'

Then, again, mentally recite this secret mantra to protect all the disciples.


密語曰:

「(二)唵(引)(一) 摩訶(引)襪日啰(二合)迦(去)襪遮嚩日哩(二合)矩嚧襪日啰(二合)襪日啰(二合)菡(引)」

次加持涂香涂諸弟子掌中。真言曰:

「(三)唵(引)襪日啰(二合)巘弟虐」

涂香時告言:「愿汝等悉具一切如來戒、定、慧、解脫、解脫知見之香。」

次加持白華授與弟子。真言曰:

「(四)唵(引)襪日啰(二合)補瑟閉(二合)唵」

告言:「愿汝等得一切如來無盡相海。」

次加持香爐熏弟子雙手。真言曰:

「(五)唵襪日啰(二合)杜(引)閉惡」

告言:「愿汝等得一切如來無盡大悲滋潤妙色。」

次加持燈令弟子視。真言曰:

「(六)唵襪啰(二合)路(引)計(引)你翼(二合、引)」

告言:「愿汝等獲得一切如來等虛空界智慧。」

光明金剛劍真言加持牛五味(乳、酪、蘇、糞、尿相和,澄、嚧漉服之):

「(七)唵嚩日啰(二合)嗢那羯吒」

令飲。真言:

「(八)唵摩訶入嚩攞吽」

次,以摧破一切煩惱、隨煩惱,諸佛甚深智慧金剛劍真言或部心真言加持,烏曇阿說陀齒木十指量,香水洗、涂、熏,纏華于根

告知說:『愿你們獲得一切如來無盡的相好之海。』

接下來加持香爐,熏弟子的雙手。真言說:

『(五)唵(om)(種子字,表示皈依) 襪日啰(二合)(vajra)(金剛) 杜(引)(dhū)(香) 閉惡(pe)』

告知說:『愿你們獲得一切如來無盡大悲滋潤的妙色。』

接下來加持燈,讓弟子觀看。真言說:

『(六)唵(om)(種子字,表示皈依) 襪啰(二合)(vara)(殊勝的) 路(引)(lo)(光明) 計(引)(ke)(給予) 你翼(二合、引)(nī) 』

告知說:『愿你們獲得一切如來等同虛空界的智慧。』

光明金剛劍真言加持牛五味(乳、酪、蘇、糞、尿相和,澄、濾后服用):

『(七)唵(om)(種子字,表示皈依) 嚩日啰(二合)(vajra)(金剛) 嗢那羯吒(udakaṭa)』

令弟子飲用。真言:

『(八)唵(om)(種子字,表示皈依) 摩訶(mahā)(偉大的) 入嚩攞(jvala)(火焰) 吽(hūṃ)(種子字)』

接下來,用摧破一切煩惱、隨煩惱,諸佛甚深智慧金剛劍真言或部心真言加持,烏曇跋羅(udumbara)和阿說陀(aśvattha)齒木,長度為十指,用香水洗、涂、熏,在根部纏繞鮮花。

'(Two) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Mahā (great) Vajra (diamond) Ka Kavaca-vajri (diamond armor) Kurū (do) Vajra (diamond) Vajra (diamond) Hāṃ (seed syllable)'

Next, bless the scented ointment and apply it to the palms of all disciples. The mantra says:

'(Three) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Gandhe (fragrance)'

While applying the scented ointment, say: 'May you all be endowed with the fragrance of the precepts, samādhi, prajñā, liberation, and the knowledge and vision of liberation of all Tathāgatas.'

Next, bless the white flowers and give them to the disciples. The mantra says:

'(Four) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Puṣpe (flower) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge)'

Say: 'May you obtain the inexhaustible ocean of marks and characteristics of all Tathāgatas.'

Next, bless the incense burner and fumigate the disciples' hands. The mantra says:

'(Five) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Dhū (incense) Pe'

Say: 'May you obtain the wonderful form nourished by the inexhaustible great compassion of all Tathāgatas.'

Next, bless the lamp and have the disciples look at it. The mantra says:

'(Six) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vara (supreme) Lo (light) Ke (giving) Nī'

Say: 'May you obtain the wisdom of all Tathāgatas, equal to the realm of space.'

The Light Vajra Sword mantra blesses the five products of the cow (milk, curd, ghee, dung, and urine mixed together, clarified, filtered, and taken):

'(Seven) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Udakaṭa'

Have the disciples drink it. The mantra:

'(Eight) Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Mahā (great) Jvala (flame) Hūṃ (seed syllable)'

Next, using the Vajra Sword mantra of profound wisdom of all Buddhas, which destroys all afflictions and secondary afflictions, or the heart mantra of the family, bless the udumbara and aśvattha tooth sticks, measuring ten fingers in length, wash, anoint, and fumigate them with fragrant water, and wrap flowers around the root.


,以一奉獻一切諸佛,余與行者。

以不動明加持、一百八如來牙加持。

次授于齒木,卻至授戒處嚼小頭,告問:「擲齒木得何方,便是彼方。聖人告如是偈言:

「『汝獲無等利,  位同於大我。   一切諸如來,  此教諸菩薩,   皆以攝受汝,  成辦于大事。   汝等於明日,  當得大乘生。』」

擲之,驗其相(令蹲踞坐嚼,面東或北,向外不成就、向內成就。若遠卻夾久,成就東方、上、西、中、南、下,四方多是彼部)。

三,結修多羅,當系等持臂(五色線五佛加持,貫攝萬行,令住等持臂,歷經僧祇令不失壞,故名金剛結)。

次,夜行,赤衣覆其首(以真言及不動尊真言加持一百八遍),掩閉一切諸惡趣門,能開清凈五眼成就。

結三昧耶契,口授此密言:

「(九)三昧耶薩怛鑁(三合)」

厶即令豎忍愿二度為針,引入壇門中,三遍授此密語曰(金剛鉤真言引入):

「(十)三昧耶吽(引)」

應告言:「汝今已入如來眷屬部中,我今令汝生金剛智。汝由此智故,當得一切如來最勝成就,及諸世間、出世間一切悉地事業皆悉成就。汝又不應于未入壇場受灌頂人前說此法事。汝若說者,非但違失汝三昧耶,

【English Translation】 English version: Offer one portion to all the Buddhas (Buddhas: all enlightened beings), and the remainder to the practitioners.

Empower with the Acala Vidyaraja (Acala Vidyaraja: a wrathful deity in Buddhism) mantra and the one hundred and eight Tathagata teeth (Tathagata teeth: the teeth of the Buddha, symbolizing the Dharma).

Next, bestow the tooth-stick (tooth-stick: a twig used for cleaning teeth), then return to the place of ordination and chew the small end of the tooth-stick, announcing and asking: 'Whichever direction the tooth-stick is thrown, that is the direction you should go.' The sage speaks this verse:

'You will obtain unparalleled benefits, your position will be equal to the great self (great self: refers to Buddha-nature or true self). All the Tathagatas, the Bodhisattvas of this teaching, will embrace you, helping you to accomplish great deeds. You will, tomorrow, obtain the birth of the Mahayana (Mahayana: a major branch of Buddhism).'

Throw the tooth-stick, and verify its appearance (have him squat and chew, facing east or north; facing outward will not be successful, facing inward will be successful. If it is far away but held for a long time, it will be successful in the east, above, west, middle, south, below; the four directions are mostly that division).

Third, tie the sutra (sutra: thread, here referring to a knot), it should be tied on the samadhi arm (samadhi arm: the arm maintaining a meditative state) (using five-colored threads, empowered by the Five Dhyani Buddhas (Five Dhyani Buddhas: the five main Buddhas in esoteric Buddhism), penetrating and encompassing myriad practices, causing it to abide on the samadhi arm, so that it will not be destroyed even after a long time, hence it is called the Vajra knot (Vajra knot: an indestructible knot)).

Next, perform at night, covering his head with a red cloth (empowering it one hundred and eight times with the mantra and the Acala mantra), closing all the gates of the evil destinies (evil destinies: hell, hungry ghosts, animals, etc.), able to open the pure five eyes (five eyes: physical eye, heavenly eye, wisdom eye, Dharma eye, Buddha eye) to accomplishment.

Form the Samaya mudra (Samaya mudra: a vow hand seal), orally transmit this secret language:

'(Nine)Samaya Satvam (combined)'

Then immediately raise the forbearance and vow degrees (forbearance and vow degrees: the practices of patience and vow), as a needle, introduce it into the gate of the mandala, three times bestow this secret language, saying (introducing with the Vajra hook mantra):

'(Ten)Samaya Hum (extended)'

You should tell him: 'You have now entered the family of the Tathagata (Tathagata: title of the Buddha), I now cause you to generate Vajra wisdom (Vajra wisdom: indestructible wisdom). Because of this wisdom, you should obtain the most supreme accomplishment of all the Tathagatas, and all the worldly and transcendental siddhis (siddhis: accomplishments) will all be accomplished. You should also not speak of this Dharma matter in front of those who have not entered the mandala and received initiation (initiation: a religious ritual). If you speak of it, not only will you violate your Samaya (Samaya: vow),'


亦自招殃咎耳。」

師應堅結金剛薩埵慧契,置弟子頂上,告言:「此是金剛薩埵三昧耶契,汝若輒向未受灌頂人說者,令汝頭破裂。汝於我所莫生輕慢,應當深生敬信。汝於我身當如金剛薩埵想,我所教誨當盡奉行。若不爾者,自招殃禍,或令中夭、死墮地獄,汝應慎之。」

師欲令金剛薩埵入其弟子身心,即結金剛薩埵契,告言:「此是金剛薩埵三昧耶,愿入汝身心成無上金剛智。」

誦此密語曰:

「(十一)唵(引)襪日啰(二合、引)吠(引)奢(引)惡」

次,結忿怒金剛拳,以忍愿二度相鉤,誦上大乘三昧耶百字密語。唱已,掣開上契。由此密語功能力故,能令弟子入金剛智,證殊勝慧。由此智故,悉能獲得知一切眾生若干種心,能知世間三種事業,能堅固菩提心,能滅一切苦惱、離一切怖畏,一切眾惡不能為害,一切如來同共加持,一切悉地皆悉現前,諸未曾有安樂勝事不求自得。

「汝當深自慶幸,我今為汝略說功德勝事:於一切地位諸解脫門、神通門、三摩地門、陀羅尼門、波羅蜜門、十力、無畏、不共法等,由此法故悉當獲得,所有未曾見聞百千契經甚深義理自然能解。汝當不久自當證得諸佛真實智慧,何況下劣諸餘悉地?」

作是語已,次當問

【現代漢語翻譯】 現代漢語譯本: 『也只是自招災禍罷了。』

阿阇梨(Acharya,導師)應牢固結成金剛薩埵(Vajrasattva,金剛薩埵)的智慧手印,放在弟子的頭頂上,告誡說:『這是金剛薩埵的三昧耶(Samaya,誓言)手印,你如果擅自向未受灌頂的人說,會讓你頭破裂。你對於我不要產生輕慢之心,應當深深地生起敬信。你對於我的身體應當像觀想金剛薩埵一樣,我所教誨的應當全部奉行。如果不這樣,就會自招災禍,或者導致中途夭折、死後墮入地獄,你應當謹慎啊。』

阿阇梨想要讓金剛薩埵進入弟子的身心,就結成金剛薩埵的手印,告誡說:『這是金剛薩埵的三昧耶,愿進入你的身心,成就無上的金剛智慧。』

誦唸這個秘密真言說:

『(十一)唵(引) 襪日啰(二合、引)吠(引)奢(引)惡』

其次,結成忿怒金剛拳,用忍辱和願力二度互相鉤連,誦唸上面的大乘三昧耶百字密語。唱完后,迅速解開上面的手印。由於這個密語的功能和力量,能夠讓弟子進入金剛智慧,證得殊勝的智慧。由於這種智慧,完全能夠獲得知曉一切眾生若干種心的能力,能夠知曉世間三種事業,能夠堅固菩提心,能夠滅除一切苦惱、遠離一切怖畏,一切眾惡不能造成傷害,一切如來共同加持,一切悉地(Siddhi,成就)全部顯現,各種未曾有過的安樂殊勝之事不用追求就能自己得到。

『你應當深深地自我慶幸,我現在為你簡略地說說功德殊勝之事:在一切地位的各種解脫門、神通門、三摩地門、陀羅尼門、波羅蜜門、十力、無畏、不共法等等,由於這個法門的緣故,全部應當獲得,所有未曾見聞的百千契經甚深義理自然能夠理解。你應當不久就能自己證得諸佛真實的智慧,更何況是下劣的各種其他成就呢?』

說完這些話后,接下來應當問

【English Translation】 English version: 'It is only inviting disaster upon oneself.'

The Acharya (teacher) should firmly form the wisdom mudra of Vajrasattva (Diamond Being), place it on the disciple's head, and admonish: 'This is the Samaya (vow) mudra of Vajrasattva. If you rashly speak of it to someone who has not received initiation, it will cause your head to split. Do not harbor any contempt towards me; you should deeply generate respect and faith. You should regard my body as visualizing Vajrasattva, and you should fully practice all my teachings. If you do not, you will invite disaster upon yourself, or it may lead to premature death and falling into hell. You should be cautious.'

The Acharya, wishing to have Vajrasattva enter the disciple's body and mind, forms the mudra of Vajrasattva and admonishes: 'This is the Samaya of Vajrasattva. May it enter your body and mind and accomplish the unsurpassed diamond wisdom.'

Recite this secret mantra:

'(十一)唵(引) 襪日啰(二合、引)吠(引)奢(引)惡』 ('Om Vajravesha Ah')

Next, form the wrathful Vajra fist, hooking the endurance and aspiration degrees together, and recite the above Mahayana Samaya hundred-syllable mantra. After chanting, quickly release the above mudra. Due to the function and power of this mantra, it can enable the disciple to enter diamond wisdom and attain supreme wisdom. Due to this wisdom, one can fully acquire the ability to know the various minds of all beings, can know the three kinds of worldly activities, can strengthen the Bodhi mind, can extinguish all suffering and eliminate all fear, all evil cannot cause harm, all Tathagatas (Buddhas) jointly bless, all Siddhis (accomplishments) fully manifest, and various unprecedented blissful and excellent events are obtained without seeking.

'You should deeply rejoice in yourself. I will now briefly tell you about the meritorious and excellent events: In all stages, the various gates of liberation, gates of supernatural powers, gates of Samadhi (meditative absorption), gates of Dharani (mantra), gates of Paramita (perfection), the ten powers, fearlessness, unique qualities, etc., due to this Dharma (teaching), all should be obtained, and the profound meanings of all the hundreds and thousands of Sutras (scriptures) that have never been seen or heard can naturally be understood. You should soon attain the true wisdom of all Buddhas, let alone the inferior various other accomplishments?'

After saying these words, one should next ask


言:「汝見何等境界(此下有摧罪明等記之)?次第摧破諸罪已,復想以諸佛光明凈彼身心。四方阿閦鞞等、上方大日如來等,皆放清凈光明;下方想金剛雄(上呼)hūṃ 字放忿怒光明而摧破之。」

作是法時,能令彼等必定得見善相,當知彼罪障消滅。若彼罪極重,不見好相,師應為說真實伽陀,令其覺悟。

頌曰:

「普賢真身遍一切,  能為世間自在王,  無始、無終、無生滅,  性相常住等虛空。  一切眾生所有心,  堅固菩提名薩埵,  心住不動三摩地,  精勤決定名金剛。  我今說此誠實言,  唯愿世尊扶本願,  為利眾生諸悉地,  慈悲哀愍愿加持。」

說是語已,復結金剛入契,誦aḥ 字密語一百八遍。

結金剛縛,以禪智度捻檀慧度本間,以進力度少屈相拄是也。

如是作法已,若不見好相者,但應引入授三昧耶,不應與其灌頂。

次與當爲受此密語三遍:「sa ma ya 明莫加svā hā 便誦pra ti ca 加入佛三昧耶明。

「(十二)唵缽啰(二合、引)底車襪日啰(二合)谷」

誦已,令擲其華。華所著處,便受彼部尊密語,當速成就(花墮佛面、佛眼等尊成就,墮佛中分成就心真言

Akshobhya (immovable Tathagata) of the four directions, Mahavairocana (Great Sun Tathagata) above, and others, all emit pure light; below, contemplate Vajra Hūṃ (Vajra Hero) the hūṃ syllable emitting wrathful light to destroy sins.' When performing this ritual, it can ensure that those people will see good omens, and it should be known that their sins are eliminated. If his sins are extremely heavy and he does not see good omens, the Acharya (teacher) should speak a true verse for him to awaken. The verse says: 'Samantabhadra's (Universal Worthy) true body pervades everything, able to be the sovereign king of the world, without beginning, without end, without birth or death, its nature and characteristics are constant and equal to space. All beings' minds, firm Bodhi (enlightenment) is called Bodhisattva (enlightenment being), the mind dwells in immovable Samadhi (meditative absorption), diligent determination is called Vajra (diamond). I now speak these truthful words, may the World Honored One support the original vow, for the benefit of beings and all Siddhis (accomplishments), with compassion and pity, may you grant blessings.' After saying these words, form the Vajra Mudra (diamond hand gesture) again, and recite the aḥ syllable mantra one hundred and eight times. Form the Vajra Bandha Mudra (diamond binding hand gesture), with the wisdom finger of meditation grasping the space between the base of the sandalwood wisdom finger, with the strength finger slightly bent and touching each other. After performing this ritual, if good omens are not seen, one should only introduce him to receive the Samaya (vow), and should not give him Abhisheka (initiation). Next, recite this secret mantra to remove the blindfold. The secret mantra says: 『(The flower thrown is placed on the top of the head, Sattva (薩埵, sentient being) accepts it, may you quickly accomplish all siddhis (悉地, accomplishments))』

『(14) Om(引)(一) wa ri la(二合) sa da wa(二合) suo wa(二合) yan di(引) ni ye(二合) zha chu(二合、彈舌引半呼上) na ga(去) zha nang(三) da bo(二合) lu wu(半、引) ga(去、引) zha ye di(四) sa wa e chu(二合) wa ri la(二合) zha chu(二合) a nu da lan(引)(六) xi(引) wa ri la(二合) bo zhe(七) (Vajrasattva (金剛薩埵, Diamond Being) himself personally opens the unsurpassed Vajra eye of the five eyes for you)』

Next, call the disciple and show him all the aspects of the various sections in the mandala. Because of this Dharma, he is embraced and protected by all the Tathagatas, and Vajrasattva (金剛薩埵, Diamond Being) always abides in his heart. Whatever he seeks, even to attaining the Vajra body, there is nothing that is not accomplished.


獲得,漸當得入一切如來體性法中(若見此曼荼羅,無量俱胝劫所積眾罪業由是悉除滅)。

次當引所灌頂者,左足踏華門、右足踏華心,入天帝方門,華臺上坐,以種種華、涂香、燒香、燈明、幡蓋、清妙音樂而為供養。如不辨者隨力作之。所以爾者,謂此人坐佛位故。復以種種讚詠歌嘆,令其殷重生歡喜心。說此頌曰:

「諸佛睹史下生時,  釋、梵、龍、神隨侍衛,  種種勝妙吉祥事,  愿汝今時盡能得。  迦毗羅衛誕釋宮,  龍王霔沐甘露水,  諸天供養吉祥事,  愿汝灌頂亦如是。  金剛座上為群生,  后夜降魔成正覺,  現諸希有吉祥事,  愿汝此座悉能成。  波羅奈苑河莊嚴,  為五仙人開妙法,  成就無量吉祥事,  愿汝今時盡獲得。  諸佛大悲方便海,  普利法界眾生海,  盡未來際無疲倦,  四無礙智汝當得。」

若更有餘讚頌,隨意作之,勸發勝心,令生利喜。

Next, guide the one to be initiated, with the left foot stepping on the lotus gate and the right foot stepping on the lotus center, entering the gate of the Deva realm, and sitting on the lotus platform, making offerings with various flowers, scented paste, incense, lamps, banners, canopies, and pure, wonderful music. If unable to do all, do as much as you can. The reason for this is that this person is sitting in the Buddha's seat. Again, use various praises and songs to make them deeply joyful. Recite this verse:

'When the Buddhas descend from Tuṣita (Tuṣita, one of the heavens in the desire realm), Śakra (Śakra, the lord of the gods), Brahmā (Brahmā, the great Brahma), dragons, and gods attend and protect them. May you obtain all kinds of supreme and wonderful auspicious things now. Born in the Shakya palace in Kapilavastu (Kapilavastu), the dragon kings shower nectar water. The gods make offerings of auspicious things. May your initiation be like this as well. On the Vajra seat, for the sake of sentient beings, subduing demons and attaining perfect enlightenment in the later part of the night, manifesting all kinds of rare and auspicious things. May you accomplish all on this seat. The Varanasi (Varanasi) garden is adorned by the river, opening the wonderful Dharma for the five ascetics, accomplishing immeasurable auspicious things. May you obtain all of them now. The Buddhas' great compassion and skillful means are like the sea, universally benefiting the sea of sentient beings in the Dharma realm, without weariness until the end of the future. May you obtain the four unimpeded wisdoms (catasra-pratisaṃvidā, the four kinds of unobstructed wisdom).'

If there are other praises, create them as you wish, encouraging and inspiring the supreme mind, causing them to generate benefit and joy.

Next, the initiation should be given. First, visualize the syllable aṃ (Sanskrit seed syllable) on the crown of the disciple's head, emitting great light and flames, blazing brightly. Then, visualize a moon disc in the disciple's heart, with an eight-petaled lotus within the moon disc, and the syllable a on the lotus platform as well. If one obtains the Vajra-dhātu (Vajra-dhātu), visualize a five-pronged vajra (vajra) within the syllable a. The other families can be known by analogy. If one obtains Mahāvairocana (Mahāvairocana), then visualize a stūpa (stūpa, Buddhist pagoda), and visualize oneself as the image of Vairocana (Vairocana). Holding the vase of the family obtained by the disciple, visualize the object of that family in the water of the vase.

于彼額上想有la 攞字,色如真金;于兩目上各有ra 羅(上)字,其色如火,上有光焰;其兩足間想種種色,為法輪相,八輻莊嚴。

次誦金剛薩埵心真言,加持涂香涂彼胸前。所以作法加持者,為令弟子如金剛薩埵故。

次結大日印,念本真言,置契于彼心上,次額、次喉、次頂上。即應諦想一切如來秘密勝上頭冠加彼頭上,即結如上四種鬘印,各隨其部法以系其額。

若作阿阇梨灌頂法者,應次第如上法遍用五瓶,以四種鬘鱗次系其額上已。

次師以觀羽執五股跋折羅授其雙手,應以種種方便言詞開誘安慰,為說頌曰:

「諸佛金剛灌頂儀,  汝已如法灌頂竟,  為成如來體性故,  汝應受此金剛杵。」

On his forehead, visualize the syllable la 攞, its color like pure gold; on his two eyes, visualize the syllable ra 羅, its color like fire, with flames above; between his two feet, visualize various colors, forming the image of a Dharma wheel, adorned with eight spokes.

Next, recite the Vajrasattva heart mantra, bless the scented paste, and apply it to his chest. The reason for performing this practice and blessing is to make the disciple like Vajrasattva.

Next, form the Mahavairocana mudra, recite the root mantra, and place the mudra on his heart, then on his forehead, throat, and the top of his head. One should carefully visualize the secret and supreme crown of all Tathagatas being placed on his head, and then form the four kinds of garland mudras as above, each according to its family's practice, and tie them on his forehead.

If performing the Acharya (teacher) abhiseka, one should follow the above method in order, using five vases completely, and tie the four kinds of garlands on his forehead in sequence.

Then, the Acharya (teacher) holding a five-pronged vajra with a peacock feather, should hand it to his two hands, and should use various skillful words to encourage and comfort him, and recite the following verse:

'The abhiseka ritual of the Vajra of all Buddhas, You have completed the abhiseka according to the Dharma, In order to achieve the nature of the Tathagata, You should receive this vajra.'

After reciting this verse, the mantra is:

'(16) Om(引)(om)(1) Vajra(二合、引) adhipati'


二) 微怛嚩(二合、引)避詵(去)者彌(三) 底瑟侘(二合)襪日啰(二合)三摩耶薩怛鑁」

復收取金剛杵。若是寶部者,又跋折羅上想有寶珠,餘部效此。誦前真言時,應改初句金剛字為寶珠,餘部準此。

次於弟子本名上加金剛字,依名呼之。應誦此真言:

「(十七)唵(一) 襪日啰(二合)薩怛嚩(二合、引)避詵(去)者(引)彌(二) 襪日啰(二合)曩么(引、入)避曬訖帝(三) 系襪日啰 曩(引)么(引)(四)」

又以香華、種種供具供養所灌頂者,師應執小金剛杵子,如治眼法拭其兩目,而告之言:「善男子!世間醫王能除眼翳;今日諸佛、如來為汝開無明翳亦復如是,為令汝得金剛智慧眼,見法實相故。」

次復執鏡令其觀照,為顯諸法性相空寂。說伽陀曰:

「一切諸法性,  垢凈不可得,  非實亦非虛,  皆從因緣現。  應當知諸法,  自性無所依,  汝今真佛子,  廣利諸眾生。」

師于弟子當生恭敬,以此人能紹諸佛種性故。

師應授以商佉而告之言:「自今已后,諸佛法輪汝應轉之,當吹無上法螺,令大法聲遍一切處,不應於此法中而生疑怖。于諸密語究竟清凈修行理趣,汝應廣為眾生方便開示。善男

然後用香、花和各種供品供養接受灌頂的人,上師應該拿著小金剛杵,像治療眼睛的方法一樣擦拭他的雙眼,並告訴他說:『善男子!世間的醫王能夠去除眼翳;今天諸佛、如來為你開啟無明之翳也是如此,爲了讓你獲得金剛智慧眼,見到諸法的真實相貌。』

Again, take the vajra. If it is the Ratna family, then visualize a jewel on top of the vajra; other families should follow this. When reciting the previous mantra, the word 'vajra' in the first line should be changed to 'jewel'; other families should follow this accordingly.

Next, add the word 'Vajra' to the disciple's given name and call him by that name. This mantra should be recited:

Then, offer incense, flowers, and various offerings to the one being initiated. The teacher should hold a small vajra and, as in the method of treating eyes, wipe his eyes, and say to him: 'Good man! Worldly physicians can remove eye ailments; today, the Buddhas and Tathagatas remove the darkness of ignorance for you in the same way, so that you may obtain the Vajra Wisdom Eye and see the true nature of phenomena.'

Next, hold a mirror for him to look into, to reveal the emptiness of the nature and characteristics of all dharmas. Recite the gatha:

'The nature of all dharmas, Cannot be obtained as defiled or pure, Neither real nor unreal, All appear from causes and conditions. You should know that all dharmas, Have no basis in self-nature, You are now a true Buddha's child, Benefit all sentient beings extensively.'

The teacher should have respect for the disciple, because this person can continue the lineage of the Buddhas.

The teacher should give the conch shell to the disciple and say to him: 'From now on, you should turn the Dharma wheel of all the Buddhas, and you should blow the supreme Dharma conch, so that the sound of the Great Dharma pervades all places. You should not have doubts or fears about this Dharma. Regarding all secret teachings, the ultimate pure practice of the principles, you should extensively and expediently reveal them to sentient beings. Good man!'


子諦聽:若能如是修者,一切如來皆悉知汝能報佛恩。是故,於一切時處,一切持金剛者之所衛護,令汝安樂。」

次應引起至大壇前,為說三昧耶令其堅固,告言:「善男子!汝應堅守正法,設遭逼迫苦惱乃至斷命,不應舍離修菩提心。于求法人及於財物不應慳吝,于諸眾生少不利益事亦不應作。此是最上句義、聖所行處,我今為汝具足說竟,汝應隨順如說修行。」

弟子應自慶幸,合掌頂禮。

又執五股金剛杵而授與之,告言:「此是諸佛體性,金剛薩埵手所執者,汝應堅護禁戒,常受持之。」

弟子受已,授此決定要誓密語,令其誦之。密語曰:

「(十八)唵(一)(引) 薩嚩怛他(引)蘗多悉地襪日啰(二合)三摩耶底瑟佗(二合)(二) 翳娑怛嚩(二合、引)(三) 馱啰耶彌(四) 襪日啰(二合)薩怛嚩(二合)(五) 呬呬呬呬吽」

如是作法己,所有一切曼拏啰秘密三昧耶智師應教授。

若弟子於三昧耶有退失者,師應遮制,勿令毀壞。弟子于師應恭敬尊重,莫見師短、于同學所莫生嫌恨。

應告之言:「汝於一切眾生常生慈愍,哀矜示誨,莫生厭離。」

為說偈言:

「三界極重罪,  不過於厭離,  汝于貪慾處,  莫

應該告訴他說:『你對於一切眾生常常生起慈悲憐憫之心,哀憐他們,教導他們,不要生起厭惡舍離之心。』

為他說偈語:

『三界中最重的罪, 莫過於厭離, 你于貪慾之處, 莫……』

【English Translation】 English version: 『Listen carefully, disciple: If you can practice in this way, all the Tathagatas (如來) will know that you can repay the Buddha's kindness. Therefore, at all times and in all places, you will be protected by all the Vajradharas (金剛持), ensuring your peace and happiness.』

Then, he should be led to the front of the great Mandala (壇城), and the Samaya (誓言) should be explained to him to make him firm. He should be told: 『Good man! You should firmly uphold the Dharma (正法). Even if you encounter oppression, suffering, or even death, you should not abandon the practice of Bodhicitta (菩提心). You should not be stingy with those who seek the Dharma or with material possessions. You should not do even the slightest thing that is not beneficial to all beings. This is the supreme meaning, the path walked by the saints. I have now fully explained it to you. You should follow and practice as I have said.』

The disciple should rejoice and prostrate with palms joined.

Then, holding the five-pronged Vajra (金剛杵), he should be given it, and he should be told: 『This is the nature of all the Buddhas, held in the hand of Vajrasattva (金剛薩埵). You should firmly protect the precepts and always uphold it.』

After the disciple receives it, he should be given this decisive secret mantra of oath and told to recite it. The secret mantra is:

『(18) Om (一)(引) Sarva-tathagata-siddhi Vajra (二合) Samaya tistha (二合)(二) E sa sattva (二合、引)(三) Dharayami (四) Vajra (二合) sattva (五) Hi hi hi hi Hum』

After performing the ritual in this way, the Acharya (導師) should teach all the secret Samaya wisdom of the Mandala (壇城).

If the disciple has any lapses in the Samaya (誓言), the Acharya (導師) should restrain him and not allow him to break it. The disciple should respect the Acharya (導師) and not see his faults, and he should not harbor resentment towards his fellow students.

He should be told: 『You should always generate compassion and pity for all beings, show them compassion, teach them, and not generate aversion or abandonment.』

A verse should be recited for him:

『The heaviest sin in the three realms, Is none other than aversion, In places of greed, Do not...』


生厭離心。」

次欲令弟子堅持歡喜故,復說偈曰:

「此等三昧耶,  諸佛為汝說,  守持善愛護,  當如保身命。」

弟子受師教己,頂禮師足,白言:「如師教誨,我誓修行。」

迴向發願:「弟子某甲等曏者己來於大悲胎藏大曼荼羅前聽聞正法,生凈信心。稽請聖賢海會聖眾,歸依三寶,懺除罪垢,受佛凈戒。投華有緣,蒙聖攝受,已得灌頂金剛職號。隨賢聖位——功德無邊,塵沙叵算——總將回施法界眾生,愿皆離苦、得安穩樂,舍邪歸正、發菩提心,行菩薩道永不退轉,于當來世一時成佛。」

金剛界大乘現證甚深秘密瑜伽大曼荼羅大悲無礙大灌頂戒儀

消除無明妄三業,  現得薩埵心月輪,  決定不退三密行,  自他圓滿成悉地。

寬政十二年庚申晚秋,為充足豐山印刻之未滿,據相承之本,且仇挍四五之別本而點之。

享和改元辛酉年五月,更以京師智積院之本挍整。彼奧批云:「右阿阇梨灌頂儀軌一卷,梵文句義舊本所無,今守師授,私加書之,但厥句義,全依四卷略出經注。繕寫之次披閱過數,文苑蕪穢,義路不通。推之,秘其事相往往爛脫,因以菅窺猥點一班。」
