稽首薄伽梵  大毗盧遮那  能為自在王  演說金剛界  無邊功德法  成五解脫輪  三十七智身  我今歸命禮  瑜伽大教王  開演一佛乘  如來三密藏  是乘無比喻  最上最第一  唯佛不共智  相應成佛門  為令悟入者  圓成凈法身  三世薄伽梵  皆依此法成  是故諸如來  敬禮如理法  若修此法者  善住于師位  備族姓相好  調柔心正直  以戒常嚴身  以戒常嚴身  清凈無所畏  於此秘密乘  決定深信解  空有性相義  隨化道應知  住大悲方便  引接諸群品  能令所依者  頓獲如來位  已入金剛界  諸佛大壇場  生在如來家  受法王灌頂  瞻禮于聖會  不捨菩提心  恭敬阿阇黎  等同一切佛  所有言教誨  皆當盡奉行  于諸同學處  不生嫌恨心  敬如金剛手  乃至諸含識  亦不應輕惱  諸天神

Chapter 1: The Yoga Ritual for Cultivating the Great Samaya of the Profound and Secret Vajra Realm

I prostrate to the Bhagavan (Bhagavan, the Blessed One)—Mahāvairocana (Mahāvairocana, the Great Sun Buddha), Who is able to be the King of Freedom, expounding the Vajra Realm's Law of boundless merit, accomplishing the five wheels of liberation, Possessing the body of thirty-seven wisdoms, I now take refuge and prostrate. King of the Great Yoga Teachings, opening up the One Buddha Vehicle, The Three Secrets Treasury of the Tathagata, this vehicle is incomparably supreme. Most supreme, most foremost, only the Buddha's unique wisdom, Corresponding with it can accomplish the door to Buddhahood, in order to enable sentient beings to awaken and enter, Perfectly accomplishing the pure Dharma body, all the Bhagavan (Bhagavan, the Blessed One) of the three times, All attain enlightenment through this Dharma. Therefore, all the Tathagatas, Respectfully bow to the Dharma that accords with truth. If one cultivates this Dharma, They will be able to dwell well in the position of ācārya (ācārya, teacher), possessing a noble lineage and beautiful features, Gentle and kind, with an upright heart, constantly adorning themselves with precepts, Constantly adorning themselves with precepts, pure and without fear, Towards this secret vehicle, possessing unwavering deep faith and understanding, The meaning of emptiness, existence, self-nature, and phenomena should be known according to the objects to be transformed. Dwelling in great compassion and skillful means, guiding and receiving all beings, Able to enable those who rely on them to quickly attain the fruit of the Tathagata. Having already entered the great mandala of the Vajra Realm Buddhas, Born in the family of the Tathagata, receiving the abhiseka (abhiṣeka, empowerment) of the Dharma King, Gazing and bowing to the assembly of the holy ones, not abandoning the Bodhi mind, Respecting the ācārya (ācārya, teacher) as equal to all Buddhas, All teachings and instructions should be diligently followed. Towards all fellow practitioners, not generating feelings of resentment or hatred, Respecting them as Vajrapani Bodhisattva, and even towards all sentient beings, One should not despise or harm them. The gods.

Is the Tathagata (Thus Come One), with vajra (diamond) and lotus hands, The venerable one of skillful activities in space, therefore one should firmly protect. The Samaya (vow) of the principal deity is more important than one's own life. Always practice external rituals, washing and chewing tooth sticks. Consuming cardamom and applying fragrant oils, making the body and mouth fragrant and pure. One should not eat pungent mixtures, wine, meat, or any leftovers. Food and drink should be free from faults, and should not be given to others. Do not share a bed, seat, or sleeping place, always keep the body and clothes clean. Keep both inside and outside free from defilement, one should not have long fingernails. Living in filth is against the teachings, internally the six senses. Use the three secrets to purify, externally referring to rituals and rules. Initiation with Dharma, fragrance, and water, or when external conditions are not complete. Then purify with the Dharma, this principle is the most supreme. One should contemplate the 'Ah' syllable, purifying internal and external defilements. Achieving bathing without bathing, washing away like the empty space. Immaculate like the Dharmadhatu (realm of Dharma), principle and practice are both corresponding. The Tathagata (Thus Come One) most praises, initially arising the vajra (diamond) samadhi (meditative absorption). Universally awakening all beings, acting is the act of the Tathagata (Thus Come One). Sitting is the seat of the Tathagata (Thus Come One), all entrances are without words. One sound pervades the Dharmadhatu (realm of Dharma), afterwards giving great compassion. Benefiting and bringing joy to all without remainder, sentient beings and the world. Adorning and purifying the Buddha land, whether established by oneself or others. The supreme great Mandala (sacred circle), selecting the ground and establishing the altar. As described in the sutras, offering a wonderful celestial canopy above. All around hanging banners, garlands, bells, and pendants, etc. Intermittently hanging offerings, spreading and arranging the positions of all deities. Adorning with flowers when scattering.

【English Translation】 English version Pure Water of the Virtuous Consort Burn incense, flowers, and scented unguents, offer lamps and food, using gold and silver vessels, as well as pure Brahmanical items. Sprinkle with mantra-infused scented water, and then fumigate with burning incense, arrange them around the four sides of the altar, and offer with a sincere heart. Those who practice Yoga, each time they enter the Mandala (sacred enclosure), should visualize themselves as Samantabhadra (Universal Worthy Bodhisattva), with feet walking upon lotuses. Approach the door of the pure chamber, close the door and recite the syllable 『Hum』 (seed syllable), with angry eyes dispel misfortune, then prostrate with the five limbs touching the ground, Respectfully bow to the feet of the World Honored One, and the Dharma and Sangha of the One Vehicle, then kneel with palms joined, and visualize facing the holy assembly. Encourage the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to dedicate merit, those who possess the Dharma should enter the Vajra Samadhi (Diamond Concentration), the syllable 『ram』 emits the fire of wisdom, Burning away the causes of delusion, the world of sentient beings and inanimate objects becomes like empty space, this is called appropriate attention, the mind achieves appropriate accomplishment, This is called Dharmata (Suchness), the Dharma abides in the position of Dharma, this is called Dharmadhatu (Dharma Realm), then bless body, speech, and mind, Accomplishing the three mysteries and three bodies, the mantra-practicing Bodhisattva, should cultivate well, apply scented unguent all over the hands, Then fumigate with burning incense, purify the world of vessels, the Mudra (hand gesture) of the Still Light Flower Treasury, then with the hands of Samadhi (concentration) and Prajna (wisdom), Contemplate the Dharma that is free from defilement, the mantra is recited as follows: 『Om (prolonged) ra ju bo ga da sa wa da mo (prolonged)』 Next, one should purify the three karmas, contemplate that the body is originally pure, recite this mantra, and the three karmas will be purified. The mantra for purifying the body says: 『Om (prolonged) sa wa (combined) bo wa shud da sa wa da mo sa wa (combined) bo wa shud do hum』 Because of this mantra, the body becomes a vessel of Dharma, visualize the Buddha in the empty space, filling it like sesame seeds, Then recite the mantra of universal illumination, and clearly see all the Buddhas. The mantra for contemplating the Buddha says: 『Kham wa ji la (combined) da du』 Awakening all the Tathagatas, the hands of Dana (generosity) and Prajna (wisdom) are hooked and raised, the two aspects of progress and strength support each other, this is called the rising Mudra. 『Om (prolonged) wa』

Visualize the vajra palms extending arms, prostrating the entire body on the ground, dedicating oneself to the entire Dharmadhatu. Offer to Akshobhya (Akshobhya, one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas), serving all Buddhas with all due respect.

Om Sarva Tathagata Puja Upasthana Ya Atmanam Nirya Tayami Sarva Tathagata Vajra Sattva Adhishthasva Hum

Next, visualize the syllable 'Tram', transforming into a vajra jewel on the forehead. Visualize oneself becoming a jewel form, with Vajragarbha (Vajragarbha, a Bodhisattva in the Vajra realm mandala) pervading the body like countless dust particles. Prostrate the entire body with the forehead touching the ground, placing the vajra palms at the heart, offering to Ratnasambhava (Ratnasambhava, one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas). Visualize in boundless Buddha lands, wearing the five Buddha crown on the head, bestowing empowerment upon the crowns of all Buddhas.

Visualize oneself becoming a lotus, with Vajradharma (Vajradharma, a Bodhisattva in the Vajra realm mandala) pervading the body like countless dust particles. Prostrate the entire body with the mouth touching the ground, placing the vajra palms on the crown of the head, offering to Amitabha (Amitabha, one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas). Universally visualize the assembly of all Buddhas, requesting the turning of the Dharma wheel.

The mantra (mantra) is: Oṃ mahā-sukha (great bliss) vajra (diamond) sādhaya (accomplish) sarva-sattvebhyah (to all sentient beings) bhyo hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ. Dwelling long and observing carefully, yet not seeing the appearance of one's own mind. Again thinking of and prostrating at the feet of the Buddhas, reporting to the most supreme World Honored One: 'I do not see my own mind, what is the appearance of this mind?' All the Buddhas say, 'The appearance of the mind is difficult to measure,' Bestowing the heart mantra, immediately recite until the mind is clear. 接下來,對於所有的有情眾生,應當生起廣大的慈悲心。 在無盡的生死輪迴中,永遠披著堅固的誓願鎧甲。 爲了凈化佛的國土,降伏所有的天魔。 爲了成就最圓滿的覺悟,披上如來的鎧甲。 兩手結成金剛拳,在心口舒展進力印。 兩度互相纏繞,依次觸碰心、背、兩膝。 臍、腰、心、兩肩,喉、頸、額頭和頭頂。 各自旋轉三次,然後慢慢地向前下方垂。 首先從佈施和智慧開始散開,此印能保護一切。 天魔不能夠破壞。

Next, towards all sentient beings, one should arouse great compassion. In endless saṃsāra, constantly be clad in the great armor of vows. In order to purify the Buddha-lands, subdue all the māras. In order to achieve perfect enlightenment, be clad in the Tathāgata's armor. With both hands forming Vajra fists, extend the force of advancement at the heart. Twice entwining each other, touching the heart, back, and both knees in sequence. Navel, waist, heart, both shoulders, throat, neck, forehead, and then the crown of the head. Revolve each three times, then slowly lower forward. First scatter from generosity and wisdom, this mudra can protect everything. The māras cannot destroy it.

The mantra says:

Oṃ Hūṃ

Next, one should perform the Vajra clap, clapping three times with flat palms. By the power of this mudra, it can bind and release, and those who release are bound again. It then becomes firm armor, and the holy assembly rejoices. Obtaining the Vajra body, like Vajrasattva (Vajrasattva).

Next, form the Mudra of Manifest Wisdom, with both hands forming the Vajra binding. Dhyāna-wisdom enters the palms, visualize a moon disc in front of the body. Within the moon disc, visualize the principal deity, carefully observing the deity's marks and characteristics. Having universally entered the Vajra, the original mudra is according to the ritual. The mudra should be formed in front of the body, contemplating the Mahāsattva (Great Bodhisattva).

Oṃ Acala Hūṃ On the summit of Mount Sumeru, contemplate the palace of the Buddha-dharma realm, formed by the five wisdoms, the five-peaked jeweled pavilion, pure and sublime, surpassing all realms, adorned with various excellent ornaments. Then form the Vajra Wheel, the secret mudra of the wheel mandala. By the power of this mudra, all wheel mandalas are accomplished. Two hands in Vajra fists, advancing force, Dana-prajna hook. Within this, visualize the wheel mandala as taught by the Tathagata. Then, within the jeweled pavilion, contemplate the Mandala. The mantra says: Oṃ Vajra Cakrah Hūṃ Next, one should recite the invocation, without changing the previous mudra. Visualize and announce to all the holy beings, to descend into this Mandala. Chapter 2: The Karma Section of the Secret Mind-Ground Seal of the Vairocana (Light Illuminating Everywhere) Tathāgata Family in the Vajra Realm Great Mandala

Homage to Bhagavan (The Blessed One), the Great Vairocana (Light Illuminating Everywhere), Who is able to be the King of Freedom, expounding the Vajra Realm, All the Karma rituals, mudras and mantras, Offering to all the Tathāgatas, then forming the Karma mudra, Cultivating in the mind, contemplating the moon disc in the heart, And there is a Karma vajra, one should form the vajra fist, Equally drawing and dividing into two, the right hand vajra fist, With the end of the gripping force, the left fist resting on the navel, The right hand hanging down touching the ground, the left fist as before, The right hand bestowing wishes, the two hands crossing upwards, The advancing and forceful fingers standing back to back, snapping the fingers horizontally at their ends, The left fist again resting on the navel, the right hand bestowing fearlessness, These are the mudras of the Five Tathāgatas.

First, stretch out from the meditation mudra and wisdom mudra, rotating and dancing beside the cheeks. Place the Vajra palm on the top of the head, both hands in fists as if wearing armor. The force of advancement uses the giving mudra and wisdom mudra alternately, both hands in fists joining together. These mudras of the sixteen great beings are the inner and outer eight offerings, as well as the mudras of the four protectors, which will now be described. Place both hands in fists on the waist, bowing the head slightly to the left. Make the gesture of tying a garland with both hands in fists, spreading backwards from the forehead to the top of the head. Join both hands in fists on the side, spreading from the navel to the front of the mouth. Both hands in fists are in a dancing posture, rotating the palms on the top of the head. Use the ritual of the Vajra palm to perform the four offering mudras such as burning incense. The advancing power finger supports its back, and the bound reclining upright dhyana-jnana fingers. This mudra is unfolded in front of the forehead, and scatters upwards from the navel to the mouth. Rotate the palm on top of the head, and scatter downwards from the binding. Open and offer upwards from the bound state, with the bound dhyana-jnana fingers like needles. Untie the binding and rub it on the chest, with the bound advancing power finger like a hook. The dhyana finger enters the tiger's mouth of the jnana finger, and the upper four fingers cross like a ring. 結羯磨觸地,復應作是念: 愿一切眾生

【English Translation】 English version: Ye(two combined) duo nang(two) bu re ming qie san mu na la(two combined)(three) suo po(two combined) ra na san mo ye hong.

Dharma (佛法) Samaya (誓言), and think thus: 'I, in this very body, with all the Bodhisattvas (菩薩), Observe the true nature of the Dharma, equal and without difference.' Having made no difference, then recite this secret mantra:

The secret mantra says:

'Om (seed syllable) Sarva Tathagata (如來)(one) citta hrdaya (two combined) ratna (two) puja megha samudra (two combined)(three) spharana samaye hum.'

Banner Samaya (誓言), should observe in the cycle of birth and death, All sentient beings, entangled by suffering, Deeply generate compassion, I now for rescue and protection, And protect the Bodhicitta (菩提心), those not yet delivered, cause them to be delivered, Those not yet at peace, cause them to be at peace, all cause them to attain Nirvana (涅槃), And rain all kinds of treasures, fulfilling what is sought. Having thought thus, then recite this secret mantra:

The secret mantra says:

'Om (seed syllable) Sarva Tathagata (如來)(one) maha vajra (two combined) udbhava (two combined) vandana (two) paramita (波羅蜜多)(three) puja megha samudra (four) spharana samaye hum.'

Next, form the fragrant body mudra, Samaya (誓言) incense, And think thus: May all sentient beings, The three karmas of all unwholesome deeds, may all be far away, All wholesome dharmas, may all be accomplished. Then recite this secret mantra:

唵(ōng) 薩嚩怛他誐哆(sàwǎtāyèduō,一切如來) 虞(yú) 醯野(xīyě) 摩賀缽啰(móhèbōluó) 底播底(dǐbōdǐ) 布惹銘伽三母捺啰(bùrěmínggèsānmǔnàluó) 娑頗(suōpō) 啰拏三摩曳吽。

次應合指爪,而作是思惟,二羽金剛縛,進力禪智口,我今出語言,愿一切眾生,悉皆令得聞,誦此秘密言。

密言曰:

唵(ōng) 薩嚩怛他誐哆(sàwǎtāyèduō,一切如來) 嚩枳也(wǎzhǐyě) 𩕳哩也(xīlǐyě) 怛曩(dánnǎng) 布惹銘伽三母捺啰(bùrěmínggèsānmǔnàluó) 娑頗(suōpō) 啰拏三摩曳吽。

【English Translation】 English version Tāyèduō Nǔtuōluózhǐlǐ Shěrěnáyě Wǎluónáwǎsuōnǎng Wěinàyěnǎng Móhèbōluó Rěná Bōluómǐduō Bùrěmínggèsānmǔnàluó Suōpō Rǎná Sānmáyì Hōng.

The supreme Samadhi, the Mudra should be formed next. The two hands are crossed outwards, the Dhyana and Wisdom fingers are intertwined. Place them upwards in the bosom, and contemplate thus: Realize the true nature of the Dharma, empty, without characteristics, without action. All Dharmas are thus. Having contemplated, recite the secret mantra.

The secret mantra says:

Om Sarva Tathāgata Guhya Mahā Pratipatti Puja Megha Samudra Spharana Samaye Hum.

Next, the fingernails should be joined, and contemplate thus: The two hands are in the Vajra bond, the Progress and Strength, Dhyana and Wisdom fingers at the mouth. I now utter speech, wishing that all sentient beings may hear it. Recite this secret mantra.

The secret mantra says:

Om Sarva Tathāgata Vak Jñāna Puja Megha Samudra Spharana Samaye Hum.

Having thus extensively performed the Buddha's work, next, with a focused mind, recite, surrounded by the assembly and retinue, abiding in the great mirror-like wisdom of perfect stillness. Form the Vajra Samaya, and recite the Vajra Hundred Syllable Mantra. Next, recite the Vajrasattva Mantra, three, five, or seven times.

The mantra says:

【English Translation】 English version Again, form the eight offerings. Praise with wonderful sounds, offer argha (water for offering) and scented water, With the Trailokyavijaya-mudrā (seal of conquering the three worlds), rotate counterclockwise to dissolve the boundary. Next, form the samādhi-muṣṭi (fist of samadhi), recite once and quickly open it. Then, form the karma-muṣṭi (fist of action), recite three times and open the hand seal three times. From each and every one born, all the mudrās, In each and every place, they should be dissolved, by this mantra-citta (heart-mantra).

The mantra is:

Oṃ vajra mukṣa mu

Next, form the offering seal, both hands in vajra-bandha (diamond bind), The index and middle fingers like lotus leaves, place seasonal flowers on the fingertips. After reciting, throw upwards, to offer to the holy assembly.

【English Translation】 English version 『Vajra-dhatu Ushnih Hum』:

After sending off the holy assembly, one should form the Mudra (hand gesture) of empowerment. Recite the mantra to empower the four places, perform the Abhisheka (initiation) and don the armor. Then perform the ritual of striking the Mudra, and prostrate to the Four Buddhas as before. Repent of sins and make vows, and then in a quiet and secluded place, Adorn and decorate with incense and flowers, and abide in Samadhi (meditative absorption). Read and recite the Mahayana Sutras, and freely engage in Cankrama (walking meditation).
