敬禮一切最妙上師。
夫欲修習白傘蓋佛母者。寂靜室內。于軟穩氈上坐已。然發願云。為六道一切有情。于輪迴中令得解脫故。愿我成究竟正覺。而發願已。面前空中想白傘蓋佛會。彼等處以真實心念三歸依已。佛會消融為光。融入自身自身成光。然後念莎末斡咒。想一切皆空。于其空中華月輪上。想白色唵字。唵字放光。其光復回。字種變成白傘金柄。柄上嚴唵字。其字放光復回。字種變成白傘蓋佛母。一面二臂具三目。金剛跏趺而坐。右手作無怖畏印。左手執白傘當胸。嚴飾種種瓔珞。身色潔白如雪山上日光明照。具喜悅相顯無自性。應觀如鏡中像然。欲誦咒時。自己心中蓮華日輪上。唵字周圍繞心。咒及長短總持等於彼。放光遣除自他一切罪障。及間斷等想已然後讀誦。若疲倦時欲奉施食。則面前置施食。念唵啞吽三字咒攝受。變成甘露。面前空中召請白傘蓋佛母為首。並二十二山冢所居陰母。及七種佛並十方正覺。三種具美凈梵帝釋伴繞等已。想舌變成金剛光筒。誦奉食咒曰。

敬禮一切最妙上師。

Homage to all supreme and wonderful Gurus.
If one wishes to practice the White Umbrella Buddha-mother (Sitātapatrā, the Buddha-mother symbolized by an umbrella), one should sit in a quiet room on a soft and stable felt. Then, make a vow, saying: 'For the sake of all sentient beings in the six realms, may they be liberated from samsara, may I achieve complete and perfect enlightenment.' After making this vow, visualize the assembly of the White Umbrella Buddha-mother in the space in front of you. With a sincere heart, recite the Three Refuges, and visualize the Buddha assembly dissolving into light, merging into oneself, and oneself also becoming light. Then, recite the Sa-ma-wa mantra, visualizing that everything is empty. Within this emptiness, on a lotus moon disc, visualize the white seed-syllable Om. The Om emits light, the light returns, and the seed-syllable transforms into a white umbrella and a golden handle. The handle is adorned with the syllable Om, which emits light and returns, and the seed-syllable transforms into the White Umbrella Buddha-mother. She has one face and two arms, with three eyes, seated in the vajra posture. Her right hand forms the Abhaya Mudra (fearless gesture), and her left hand holds a white umbrella in front of her chest. She is adorned with various ornaments, and her body is as white and bright as the sunlight shining on a snowy mountain. She has a joyful expression, manifesting no inherent existence. One should visualize her as an image in a mirror. When one wants to recite the mantra, visualize on the lotus sun disc in one's heart, the heart mantra and the long and short dhāraṇīs surrounding the syllable Om. These mantras emit light, dispelling all sins and obstacles of oneself and others. After completing the visualization, then begin reciting. If one feels tired and wants to offer food, place the offering in front of you, and recite the three syllables Om, Ah, Hum to bless it, transforming it into nectar. In the space in front of you, invite the holy assembly led by the White Umbrella Buddha-mother, as well as the Yin mothers residing in the twenty-two charnel grounds, the seven Buddhas, the Buddhas of the ten directions, and the pure Brahma and Indra surrounded by the three beautiful adornments. Visualize your tongue transforming into a vajra light tube, and recite the food offering mantra, which is:

At one time, the Bhagavan (Blessed One) was dwelling in the Trayastrimsa Heaven, in the place where the virtuous and wonderful devas reside, together with great Bhikshus, great Bodhisattvas (Mahabodhisattvas), and the assembly of Indra (Lord of the Gods). At that time, the Bhagavan was seated on a lotus throne, absorbed in the Samadhi of Universal Observation of the Crown. Swiftly, the Bhagavan, from his crown, manifested such a Dharani mantra practice. Homage to the Fully Enlightened One (Sammasambuddha) and all Bodhisattvas. Homage to the Fully Enlightened One. Homage to the Dharma (the teachings). Homage to the Sangha (the community). Homage to the seven kotis of truly ultimate Fully Enlightened Ones and the assembly of Sravakas (listeners). Homage to the beautiful and powerful ones who can cause the masters of asceticism to retreat. Homage to the beautiful one adorned with the five hand seals, the refuge of those without beloved children. Homage to the beautiful one who can destroy the three-layered palace city, the refuge of all the mothers dwelling in the cemetery. Homage to the Tathagata Buddha of the Tathagata lineage. The Vajra (diamond/thunderbolt) Uṣṇīṣa Great Averter. The Mother with a thousand great arms. The Mother with a thousand great heads. They will not be harmed by poison, weapons, fire, or water. They will not be affected by precious poison or combined poisons, nor will they be destroyed by mantra poisons, or afflicted by untimely death. All enemies, demons, and evil friends will be loved and respected everywhere. Moreover, they will be protected, rescued, and covered by eighty-four thousand Vajrakula (Vajra family) beings, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. These beings will be pleased and show them respect. Furthermore, they will gain knowledge of past lives for eighty-four thousand great kalpas. In every life, they will not suffer from obstacles to generosity, will not be reborn as Rakshasas (Rakshasa, a type of demon), hungry ghosts, or have foul odors or body odor. They will not experience poverty in human life. They will possess immeasurable and countless merits and blessings of the Bhagavan (Bhagavan, the Blessed One), the Tathagata (Tathagata, Thus Come One). If someone seeks a child, by upholding the White Umbrella Goddess, emanating from the crown of all Tathagatas, the invincible great averter (Sarvatathagata-Usnisa-Sitata-Patra-Aparajita-Maha-Pratyangira), one can obtain a son endowed with longevity, merit, and power. After death, one will be reborn in the Pure Land of Sukhavati (the Western Paradise). Furthermore, if there is illness of people, cattle, or livestock, or if there is an epidemic, or if there is harm and obstacles causing disease, or if there is strife and all other military invasions, then by placing the White Umbrella Goddess, emanating from the crown of all Tathagatas, the invincible great averter, on the top of a banner and making extensive offerings, and then placing the banner on the gate of a large city, or in a palace, or in a village, or in a settlement, or in a plain, or in a quiet place, and making extensive offerings to the invincible great averter, one can quickly bring peace to the country, and also pacify and eliminate epidemics, diseases, obstacles and harm, strife, and all other military invasions.
