爾時世尊為末世一切眾生故。現五種光明。從頂上放火光。照三界所有惡魔鬼神等不信佛教者。同時悉焚燒。金剛手菩薩見是相已。白世尊言。如來智火被燒所有天魔鬼神于眾生生害者。悉恐怖不得安樂。欲說何法。唯愿如來演說。爾時大毗盧遮那佛告金剛手菩薩言。有明王名大勝佛頂心咒。誦一遍所求滿足。十方諸佛中最勝明王。若有金剛子。誦滿五萬遍。一切諸佛大菩薩天龍天女眾。晝夜共守護令成所愿。爾時如來說明曰。

二手內縛忍愿屈如頂。是名根本大印。若有末法轉時。有諸眾生常結此印持念真言者。一切兵力不能相害。水火不焚漂。不便一切惡魔惡鬼。金剛胎藏聖眾坐臥咸來增擁護。

複次說畫像法。于黑月房宿取清凈絹素。畫大勝明王。戴五佛冠。出現十二臂。住智拳印。執五𦙶青蓮花寶珠羯磨鉤索鎖鈴利劍輪等印。安住千葉白蓮華。身色如白光。遍身成火光。四角畫四明王。東南角畫不動金剛。西南角馬頭金剛。西

At that time, for the sake of all sentient beings in the degenerate age, the World-Honored One manifested five kinds of light, emitting fire from the crown of his head, illuminating all evil demons, ghosts, and spirits in the three realms who did not believe in Buddhism, burning them all simultaneously. Vajrapani Bodhisattva, seeing this phenomenon, reported to the World-Honored One, saying, 'The Tathagata's fire of wisdom has burned all the heavenly demons and evil spirits who harm sentient beings, causing them to be terrified and uneasy. What Dharma will you expound? May the Tathagata please explain.'

At this time, the Great Vairocana Buddha told Vajrapani Bodhisattva, 'There is a Vidyaraja (wisdom king) named the Great Victory Buddha-Crown Heart Mantra. Reciting it once will fulfill all desires. He is the most supreme Vidyaraja among all Buddhas in the ten directions. If there is a Vajra son (disciple), who recites it fifty thousand times, all Buddhas, great Bodhisattvas, nagas, and heavenly maiden will guard him day and night, causing his wishes to be fulfilled.' At this time, the Tathagata explained the mantra, saying:

'Om Maha Vajra Ushnisha Hum Trata Hrih Ah Hum'

The two hands are bound inward, with the forefingers bent like the crown of the head. This is called the fundamental great mudra. If, in the degenerate age, there are sentient beings who constantly form this mudra and recite this mantra, no military force can harm them, water and fire cannot burn or drown them, and all evil demons and evil ghosts cannot harm them. The holy assembly of the Vajra-garbha realm, whether sitting or lying down, will come to increase their protection.

Furthermore, he explained the method of painting the image. During the Black Moon constellation, take pure silk and paint the Great Victory Vidyaraja. He wears the Five Buddha Crown (representing the wisdom of the Five Dhyani Buddhas), manifesting twelve arms, holding the wisdom-fist mudra (representing the non-duality of reason and wisdom), holding a five-pronged vajra, blue lotus, jewel, karma-vajra, hook, rope, lock, bell, sword, wheel, and other implements. 【English Translation】 English version Paint the Six-Legged Vajra (Liùzú Jīngāng) in the north corner. Paint the Yaksha Vajra (Yàochā Jīngāng) in the northeast corner. Paint these four Wrathful Kings (Fènnù Wáng), each holding their respective weapons, displaying extremely fierce power. Then paint the Eight Directional Heavenly Kings (Bāfāng Tiānwáng), each leading their retinues, respectfully surrounding. If there is a mantra practitioner who wishes to make offerings, in a clean room or a quiet place in the mountains and forests, burn incense, scatter flowers, and recite the mantra five hundred thousand times. I, along with the Eight Buddha Crowns (Bā Fódǐng), Immeasurable Heavenly Bodhisattvas (Wúliàng Tiān Púsà), Vajra Devas (Jīngāng Tiān), etc., will manifest and constantly attend to you. If there are sentient beings who recite this mantra daily, in this present life, they will surpass all devas and humans. In the future world, their body will be like Vairocana (Biànzhào Zūn). Those who hold this mudra and mantra can accomplish ten billion kinds of wishes. Furthermore, if there is a practitioner who performs various subduing demons and all Āvesha rituals (Āwěishè Fǎ), I will transform into ten thousand Vajra Youths (Jīngāng Tóngzǐ), then those who recite at will shall dwell here constantly. If you have compassion, do not hate each other, visualize the Hūṃ syllable (Hōng zì) in your heart, and whether walking, standing, sitting, or lying down, abide in the Self-Deity Samadhi (Běnzūn sānmódì), accomplishing all wishes. Sentient beings who see this person will all rejoice and love them. This person is like Vairocana, and countless Buddhas will constantly come to protect them and will not abandon them. The mantra practitioner does not give rise to afflictions such as greed, hatred, and ignorance, deeply takes refuge in the Three Jewels (Sānbǎo), and dedicates the roots of goodness to the six realms, will surely quickly attain unsurpassed Bodhi.
