南無佛南無法南無比丘僧　南無七佛等正覺。南無辟支佛南無諸羅漢。南無彌勒等一切菩薩。南無諸阿那含南無斯陀含南無須陀洹。南無世間正信曏者。我禮彼眾已。欲說大孔雀王咒經。愿如意成就。吉諸鬼神等明聽。若空虛在地及水居者。天龍阿修羅摩樓多迦樓羅乾闥婆緊那羅摩睺羅伽。夜叉羅剎餓鬼毗舍遮浮陀鳩槃茶富單那羯吒富單那乾陀溫摩陀車耶阿缽摩羅郁多羅伽等。聽我所說。鬼神所食吸氣鬼。食石蜜鬼食血鬼。食髓鬼食肉鬼。食脂鬼食胎鬼。食命鬼食力鬼。食發鬼食華鬼。食聲鬼食氣鬼。食噁心鬼食陰謀心鬼。害心鬼好奪他命諸鬼神等。聽我欲說此大孔雀王咒經。今與香華飲食汝等受之。害汝噁心陰謀心害。來食香下氣慈心善心。信佛信法信比丘僧心者。聽我所說。十四羅剎女。一名黑闇二名作黑闇。三名鳩槃茶四名白具。五名華眼六名取子。七名取發八名作黃。九名垂下十名極垂下。十一名伺便十二名閻羅使。十三名閻羅羅剎十四名啖鬼。汝等受我華香飲食。擁護某甲及諸眷屬。使我咒句如意成就吉。

食吸氣鬼，食石蜜鬼，食血鬼，食髓鬼，食肉鬼，食脂鬼，食胎鬼，食命鬼，食力鬼，食發鬼，食華鬼，食聲鬼，食氣鬼，食噁心鬼，食陰謀心鬼，害心鬼，好奪他人性命的諸鬼神等，請聽我欲說此大孔雀王咒經。現在我以香華飲食供養汝等，愿汝等捨棄噁心、陰謀心、害人之心，前來享用香華飲食，生起慈悲心、善良心，生起對佛、法、僧的信心。十四羅剎女，一名黑闇，二名作黑闇，三名鳩槃茶，四名白具，五名華眼，六名取子，七名取發，八名作黃，九名垂下，十名極垂下，十一名伺便，十二名閻羅使，十三名閻羅羅剎，十四名啖鬼。汝等接受我的華香飲食，擁護某甲（指被保護者）及其眷屬，使我的咒語如意成就，吉祥！

Namo Buddhaya, Namo Dharmaya, Namo Arya Sanghaya. Namo to the Seven Buddhas who attained perfect enlightenment. Namo to Pratyekabuddhas (Solitary Buddhas, those who attain enlightenment on their own). Namo to all Arhats (worthy ones, those who have extinguished all defilements). Namo to Maitreya (the future Buddha) and all Bodhisattvas (beings striving for enlightenment). Namo to all Anagamins (non-returners, those who have eliminated the fetters of the desire realm), Namo to Sakrdagamins (once-returners, those who have weakened the fetters of the desire realm), Namo to Srotapannas (stream-enterers, those who have entered the stream of the holy path). Namo to those in the world who have right faith and are oriented towards liberation. I bow to all of you. I now wish to recite the Great Peacock King Dhāraṇī Sūtra. May all be fulfilled as desired. Auspicious! All you spirits and deities, listen carefully. Whether you dwell in the sky, on the earth, or in the water, such as Devas (gods), Nagas (dragons), Asuras (demigods), Marutas (wind gods), Garudas (eagles), Gandharvas (celestial musicians), Kinnaras (celestial musicians), Mahoragas (great serpents), Yakshas (demons), Rakshasas (ogres), Pretas (hungry ghosts), Pisacas (flesh-eating demons), Putanas (evil spirits), Kumbhandas (goblins), Kataka-putanas (corpse demons), Skandas (disease demons), Gandhas (smell demons), Unmadas (madness demons), Chayas (shadow demons), Apasmaras (epilepsy demons), Uttaras (ghosts) and others, listen to what I say.

Those who eat breath, those who eat rock candy, those who eat blood, those who eat marrow, those who eat flesh, those who eat fat, those who eat fetuses, those who eat life, those who eat strength, those who eat hair, those who eat flowers, those who eat sounds, those who eat air, those who eat evil thoughts, those who eat scheming thoughts, those who harm, all you spirits and deities who like to take the lives of others, listen to me as I recite this Great Peacock King Dhāraṇī Sūtra. Now I offer you incense, flowers, and food. May you abandon your evil thoughts, scheming thoughts, and harmful thoughts, and come to enjoy this incense, flowers, and food, and generate loving-kindness, goodness, and faith in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. The fourteen Rakshasa (ogress) sisters, the first named Black Darkness, the second named Making Black Darkness, the third named Kumbhanda, the fourth named White Possessions, the fifth named Flower Eyes, the sixth named Child Taker, the seventh named Hair Taker, the eighth named Making Yellow, the ninth named Hanging Down, the tenth named Extremely Hanging Down, the eleventh named Waiting for Opportunity, the twelfth named Messenger of Yama (the lord of death), the thirteenth named Yama Rakshasa, the fourteenth named Ghost Eater. At that time, I heard that the Buddha was dwelling in Sravasti (an ancient city in India).

祇樹給孤獨園。爾時園中有一年少比丘名曰吉祥。出家未久為僧洗浴破薪。時有異木下有一黑蛇來。螫比丘足指。悶絕躄地目翻吐沫。爾時長老阿難。見吉祥比丘所患極重。見已惶怖往詣佛所。頭面著地為佛作禮。前白佛言世尊。此舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園中。有一新學比丘名曰吉祥。為僧洗浴破薪。異木下有一黑蛇出。螫比丘右足指。悶絕躄地目翻吐沫云何治之。爾時佛告阿難。汝持如來大孔雀王咒經。擁護吉祥比丘。與結界結咒。使毒不能害。刀杖不加眾患悉除。若天所為若龍所為。摩樓多所為迦樓羅所為。乾闥婆所為緊那羅所為。摩睺羅伽所為夜叉所為。羅剎所為餓鬼所為。毗舍遮所為浮陀所為。鳩槃茶所為富單那所為。黑富單那所為乾陀所為。熅摩陀所為車耶所為。阿缽摩羅所為郁多伽所為。吉遮所為羯磨那所為。佉軀陀所為翅蘭那所為。毗多茶所為脂遮所為。卑沙迦所為。若非法食非法吐。非法視非法舉。非法越非法觸。若有熱病一日二日。三日四日五日六日。七日半月一月。一日一時發間發。若鬼神熱病風火水作。霍亂熱。若半身痛頭痛眼痛。面痛頦痛咽喉痛項痛。耳痛齒痛。口痛心痛背痛。腹痛。腰痛陰痛髀痛。髆手痛腳痛。支節痛一切。諸痛皆令除愈擁護某甲說偈咒曰。

【English Translation】 English version Jetavana Anathapindika's Monastery. At that time, in the monastery, there was a young Bhikkhu (monk), named Mangala (Auspicious). He had not been ordained for long and was doing the work of washing and chopping wood for the Sangha (monastic community). At that time, under a strange tree, a black snake appeared and bit the Bhikkhu's toe. Mangala fainted, fell to the ground, his eyes rolled back, and he foamed at the mouth. At that time, the elder Ananda (bliss) saw that Bhikkhu Mangala's condition was extremely serious. Having seen this, he was alarmed and went to the Buddha. He prostrated himself before the Buddha, touching his head to the ground, and said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, in this Jetavana Anathapindika's Monastery in Sravasti (city in ancient India), there is a newly ordained Bhikkhu named Mangala. At that time, the Buddha said to Ananda: 'You should recite the Great Peacock King Dharani Sutra to protect Bhikkhu Mangala. Create a boundary and chant the mantra for him, so that the poison cannot harm him, weapons cannot injure him, and all diseases will be eliminated. 'Attain virtue, auspicious and virtuous, accomplish all things, immaculate, pure, wonderful, moon virtue, sun love, Tanbei, Shetanbei, Piying, Jiali, protect so-and-so (moujia, referring to the person who needs protection), grant them a hundred years of life and see a hundred autumns.' Then recite the mantra:

【English Translation】 English version Homage to the past seven Buddhas, homage to the disciples of all Buddhas. Homage to the Yaksha King Libili (Libili), after paying homage, reciting this sutra of the mantra will fulfill wishes.

In the north, there is a mountain named Gandhamahayan. There is a Yaksha named Libili (Libili), residing in the mountain. There are four disciples of the teachers: Antuoni, Bimani, Zanhani, Lingzei Wangbini (May the thieves forget), May the thieves sit down quickly, Chaoduomani (May the thieves be born quickly), Lizanhani (May the thieves become foolish). Thus, Wubuluolituotimo, Bikali, strike the thieves' mouths and teeth.

Until Jielv, release my, so-and-so's, protection. Ward off the fierce and harmful thieves, eliminate them all and make them disappear. When reciting this sutra of the mantra for the first time, the twenty-ninth day should be for Helidiye. Light the lamps, burn benzoin as Yiburan. Seven lamps scatter flowers. Light seven lamps for Guizimu (Hariti). Recite it seven times in front of Guizimu, it will be auspicious. Combine the name Lili, the Yaksha King, to gain blessings. Light seven lamps for her, burn incense, and scatter flowers.

World Honored One, this Dharani mantra is spoken by sixty-two Ganges sands of Buddhas. If anyone violates this Dharma master, they have violated these Buddhas.

A Li Na Li, Nu Na Li, A Na Lu Na Li, Ju Na Li.

The mantra spoken by Dhritarashtra (Guardian of the East):

A Jia Ni Jia Ni, Ju Li Qian Tuo Li, Zhan Tuo Li, Mo Deng Qi, Chang Qiu Li Fu Lou Sha Ni E Di.

World Honored One, this mantra is spoken by forty-two billion Buddhas.

The mantra spoken by a Rakshasi (female demon):

Yi Ti Li, Yi Ti Min, Yi Ti Li, A Ti Li, Yi Ti Li, Min Li, Min Li, Min Li, Min Li, Min Li, Lou Xi, Lou Xi, Lou Xi, Lou Xi, Duo Xi, Duo Xi, Dou Xi, Nu Xi, Ning.

If anyone troubles this Dharma master, may their head be split into seven pieces like the branches of an Arali tree.

The mantra from the Mahaparinirvana Sutra, spoken by Mara (the Sixth Heaven Demon King):

Zhuo Zhi, Zha Zha Luo Zhuo Zhi, Lu He Li Mo He, Lu He Li A Luo, Zhe Luo Duo Luo Sha He.

At that time, the World Honored One accepted the divine mantra but did not accept offerings.
