爾時毗盧遮那婆誐鑁。告持金剛秘密手菩薩言。佛子志心聽說證成妙法大曼荼羅相及諸尊等滿愿會方位乃至威儀形色法。所謂內心曼荼羅。彼身地即是法界自性。真言密印加持而加持之。本性清凈。四大金剛所護持故。凈除一切塵垢。我人眾生壽者意生儒童株杌過患。紺琉璃地黃金界場。微妙蓮華普散其上。方壇面門西向通達周旋界道。內現意生八葉花王。柚莖敷蕊。綜絢端妙。鮮白如雪。放素皓光。色超世間。葩間三鍸。其花胎上。涌出七寶大率都婆寶塔。高妙五百由旬維廣正等。各三百五十由旬。其樓閣上。住如意珠。焰鬘圍繞。張金剛鎖。普懸寶鐸。種種雜珍嚴飾之。五千欄楯。千萬龕室。懸無數幡。七寶瓔珞。五寶鐸鈴處垂烈。四面皆出多摩羅跋旃檀之香。遍大千界。天雨寶花。繽紛供養。爾時塔中師子座上。釋迦多寶兩足聖尊。

【English Translation】 English version The Sutra of the Mandala of the Lotus Flower, its Dignified Forms and Colors
(The Sutra on accomplishing the wondrous Dharma, from the Lotus Flower King's eight-petaled lotus, emerging from the jeweled stupa, with the Two-Footed Bhagavan (World Honored One), the Eight Great Bodhisattvas, and the three-layered square altar, the Samaya (Vow) assembly, the wondrous dignified forms and colors of the fulfillment assembly, the directional banners of the Mandala, the Eight Equal Great Assemblies, accomplishing the Lotus Flower Samadhi, entering the first Bhumi (stage) in this life, and decisively attaining Bodhi (Enlightenment) (from Qingliu).)

At that time, Vairocana Bhagavan (Vairocana, World Honored One) said to the Vajra-holding Secret Hand Bodhisattva: 'Son of Buddha, listen attentively to the characteristics of the great Mandala that accomplishes the wondrous Dharma, as well as the directional banners of the fulfillment assembly of all the honored ones, and even the dignified forms and colors. This is the Mandala of the inner mind. That body-ground is the self-nature of the Dharma Realm. Bless it by empowering it with mantra mudras. Its original nature is pure. Because it is protected and upheld by the Four Great Vajras, it purifies all dust and defilements, the faults of self, others, beings, life-span, mind-born, children, stumps, and snags. It is a field of lapis lazuli ground and golden boundaries. Wondrous lotus flowers are scattered all over it. The square altar's face-door faces west, communicating and traversing the boundary paths. Within it appears the mind-born eight-petaled flower king. The pomelo stems spread out the stamens and pistils, intricately woven and exquisitely beautiful, as white as snow, emitting pure white light, its color surpassing the mundane world. Between the petals are three 'hum' syllables. From the flower womb emerges a seven-jeweled great stupa. It is sublimely tall, five hundred yojanas in height, and its width is equally three hundred and fifty yojanas. On its pavilion dwells a wish-fulfilling jewel, surrounded by a garland of flames. A vajra lock is stretched out, and jeweled bells are suspended everywhere. It is adorned with various miscellaneous treasures. There are five thousand railings and ten million niches, hanging countless banners, seven-jeweled necklaces, and five-jeweled bells hanging down in rows. From all four sides emanates the fragrance of Tamalapatra sandalwood, pervading the great thousand worlds. Heavenly rain of jeweled flowers falls, offering abundant adornment.' At that time, upon the lion throne in the stupa, were Shakyamuni and Prabhutaratna, the Two-Footed Holy Ones.

【English Translation】 English version: 'Sitting in a half-lotus, half-seated posture, each sits upon an eight-petaled lotus flower. On the eight petals are the Eight Great Bodhisattvas, the most honored and unique beings in all the worlds, transcending body, speech, and mind, reaching an indescribably supreme state of heart. On the eight petals, starting from the northeast corner and proceeding clockwise, are arranged the Eight Great Bodhisattvas: first, Maitreya Bodhisattva (Maitreya Bodhisattva); second, Manjusri Bodhisattva (Manjusri Bodhisattva); Bhaisajyaraja Bodhisattva (Bhaisajyaraja Bodhisattva); Gadgadasvara Bodhisattva (Gadgadasvara Bodhisattva); Nityodyukta Bodhisattva (Nityodyukta Bodhisattva); Aksayamati Bodhisattva (Aksayamati Bodhisattva); Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva); and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (Samantabhadra Bodhisattva).' 第一彌勒菩薩

【English Translation】 English version: Twenty-four banners are hung on all four sides. Also, at each of the four corners, erect banner-staffs, with four wisdom-vases (representing the vases of four wisdoms) that are black at the bottom, filled with fragrant water. Inside the mouth of each vase, insert fresh and exquisite flowers. On both sides of the four gates of the mandala, place two argha vessels (water offering vessels), filled with fragrant water, with turmeric placed in the middle, and various seasonal flowers floating on top, making them extremely fragrant and pure. Also, at the four gates, place four incense burners, burning five-flavored incense for offering. Also, at each of the four corners, place copper lamp stands, using ghee as illumination. Outside the four corners, nail Khadira wood pegs (a type of wooden stake); if this wood is unavailable, casting copper pegs as substitutes is also acceptable. This is from the 'Actualizing Accomplishment of the King of the Wonderful Dharma Lotus Flower Sutra Yoga Contemplation Wisdom Ritual,' concerning the dignified appearance and colors of the Dharma discourse, as well as the orientation of a single mudra. Having described the rituals within the mandala and the adorned appearance of a single-layered stupa, now I will describe the dignified appearance and colors of the two sacred deities within the stupa. Prabhutaratna Tathagata (Tathagata of Abundant Treasures) Wearing a dark blue hair crown, with a coiled white hair emitting light between the eyebrows, universally illuminating everything, with a golden-colored body, forming the wisdom-fist mudra of meditation and wisdom, sitting in the lotus position with the right foot on top of the left, with the left wheel mark hanging down, wearing a kasaya robe, abiding on a great lotus flower, constantly wandering in the full moon disc, with light pervading everywhere, emerging from within the treasure stupa, verifying and accomplishing the wonderful Dharma wheel, constantly ensuring it never ceases, extensively liberating sentient beings. Sakyamuni Tathagata (Tathagata) With a dark blue hair knot, with a white hair emitting light between the eyebrows, illuminating eighty thousand worlds to the east, with a golden-colored body, forming the meditation-fist mudra with the left hand, with the right hand opening outward in wisdom, bending the little finger of ignorance, extending the middle and index fingers, sitting in the lotus position with the left foot on top of the right, with the right wheel mark hanging down, wearing a kasaya robe, abiding on a white lotus flower, constantly wandering in the moon disc, with brilliant light shining brightly, in order to propagate the teachings, abiding there and expounding the Dharma, surrounded by a samadhi assembly, each holding and reciting the sutras. Having described the appearances of the two Tathagatas, now I will describe the auspicious marks of the eight great Bodhisattvas. Great Brahmā (大梵天王) of the north.
