The Yoga Ritual of the Seed Syllable Wheel for the Direct Realization of the Dharmakaya of Vairochana from the Chapter on Entering the Dharmadhatu of the Greatly Expansive Buddha Flower Garland Sutra
Those who wish to directly enter the One Vehicle and practice the contemplation of the Dharmakaya (法身) of Vairochana Tathagata (毗盧遮那如來) should first arouse the subtle practices and vows of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (普賢菩薩). Furthermore, they should bless their body and mind with the Three Secrets (三密), so that they can awaken and enter the great ocean of wisdom of Manjusri (文殊師利). Practitioners should initially find a secluded place, gather their thoughts, calm their minds, close their eyes, straighten their bodies, and sit in the lotus position They should universally contemplate the boundless Buddha-fields, carefully observing all the Tathagatas of the three times, universally before each Buddha and Bodhisattva, diligently and respectfully bowing and circumambulating. Moreover, they should offer clouds of various offerings to all these holy beings, making vast offerings. After completing the offerings, they should also contemplate their own mind, which is originally unborn and naturally accomplished, with light shining everywhere like the void. They should also deeply arouse compassion, lamenting that sentient beings do not awaken to their own minds and are trapped in the cycle of rebirth in various realms. 'I shall universally transform and deliver them, enabling them to awaken completely without any remainder.' They should also observe their own mind, the minds of sentient beings, and the minds of all Buddhas, which are originally without difference, being of equal and single nature, thus accomplishing the Great Bodhi Mind. The Bodhi Mind is clear, cool, vast, and all-pervading, perfectly bright and pure, forming a Great Moon Wheel. The measure of the Moon Wheel is equal to the void, without boundaries. Furthermore, within the Moon Wheel, they should arrange the forty-two Sanskrit seed syllables in a clockwise direction, all of which are golden in color, emitting great light, illuminating the ten directions, appearing distinctly and clearly. Within each light, they see countless Buddha-fields, with countless Buddhas, surrounded by countless beings, sitting in the Bodhi-mandala, attaining perfect enlightenment. Their wisdom enters the three times, and their bodies pervade the ten directions. They turn the Great Dharma Wheel, delivering sentient beings, enabling them all to realize non-abiding Nirvana. Furthermore, they should awaken and enter the forty-two-syllable gate of Prajnaparamita (般若波羅蜜), understanding that all dharmas are unattainable. The observing correct wisdom and the observed Dharmadhatu are all equal, without difference or distinction. If those who practice yoga can combine this revolving Dharani contemplation practice
