開府儀同三司特進試鴻臚卿肅國公食邑三千戶賜紫贈司空謚大鑒正號大廣智大興善寺三藏沙門不空奉 詔譯
初入道場。至心頂禮懺悔發願迴向等已。
即結蓮華合掌印 兩手指虛其掌。似未開芙蓉。誦一切法清凈真言。印心額喉頂上各一遍。即得清凈。真言曰。
唵薩嚩(二合)婆嚩秫馱薩嚩達摩娑嚩(二合)婆嚩戍度唅
然後右膝著地。蓮華合掌置於頂上。誦真言想禮一切諸佛菩薩本尊足。真言曰。
唵缽娜么(二合)勿(微一反)
作此法已。即於一切諸佛菩薩。禮事供養皆悉成就。然後結加趺坐或半加坐。即結蓮華三昧耶印。兩手外相叉合掌。豎二大指二小指相併。呈示一切諸佛菩薩本尊。即憶本誓願加持攝受。真言曰。

次結極喜印。準前手勢。但以二中指。垂下於掌中。以指面相合。真言曰。

【English Translation】 English version Yoga Lotus Section Recitation Method, One Scroll
Translated by Tripitaka Master Amoghavajra (Bukong), of the Da Xing Shan Temple, with the title of 'Greatly Enlightened' (Da Jian), posthumously granted the title 'Greatly Wise' (Da Guang Zhi), who was the Special Advanced Officer of the Honglu Temple, holding the title of Duke of Su of the State, entitled to a fiefdom of three thousand households, and bestowed with purple robes, posthumously awarded the title of Minister of Works, under imperial decree.
Upon first entering the Mandala (Daochang), with utmost sincerity, prostrate, repent, make vows, dedicate merits, and so on.
Then form the Lotus Joined-Palm Mudra: both hands with fingers slightly curved, resembling an unopened lotus. Recite the All Dharma Purification True Word (真言, Zhenyan). Imprint on the heart, forehead, throat, and top of the head, each once, and one will be purified. The True Word says:
Om Sarva-bhava-shuddha Sarva-dharma-svabhava-shuddho ham
Then, with the right knee on the ground, place the Lotus Joined-Palm on the top of the head. Recite the True Word, visualizing and paying homage to the feet of all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and principal deities (本尊, Benzun). The True Word says:
Om Padma-vi
Having performed this method, one will accomplish the acts of reverence and offerings to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Then, assume the full lotus posture or half-lotus posture. Then form the Lotus Samaya Mudra: both hands crossed outwards, palms joined, with the two thumbs and two little fingers upright and joined together, presenting it to all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and principal deities. Then recall the original vows, receiving blessings and acceptance. The True Word says:
Om Vajra-padma-samaya-satvam
Next, form the Utmost Joy Mudra: following the previous hand gesture, but with the two middle fingers hanging down into the palms, with the finger surfaces touching each other. The True Word says:
Om Samaya-huk-surata-satvam
Next, form the Heart-Opening Mudra: visualize the syllables 'tram' (怛啰) on the right breast and 'ta' (吒) on the left breast, like door pivots. With the Vajra bond, pull open three times, opening one's own heart as if opening a fan. The True Word says:

次結入智印。準前金剛縛。但以二大拇指屈入掌中。觀一肘前有白蓮花。上置惡字字有白光。流入心中住白蓮花上。真言曰。

唵三摩地缽娜彌(二合)紇唎(二合)
次應端身正念入三摩地。舌拄上腭止諸攀緣。觀內外一切法皆無所有。若妄念多者應先數息。數息法從一息至七息。又從一至七相續不絕。心無攀緣即不須數息。深入清凈無所有處。即觀諸佛遍滿虛空。其身大小猶如胡麻具諸相好。告行者言。善男子汝觀自心。又觀己身遍禮佛足。白佛言世尊云何觀心。心何相貌。諸佛告言。善男子心相難可測量。授與真言密誦觀察。真言曰。
唵質多缽啰(二合)底微鄧迦嚕弭
行者密誦諦觀己心猶如凈月。諸佛告言。善男子汝心本如是。但客塵所翳。當知此即是菩提心。又授真言曰。

【English Translation】 English version Vajra-bandha-tratah (Vajra-bandha-tratah, the diamond binding).
Next, form the Wisdom Entry Mudra. As before with the Vajra Binding, but bend the two thumbs into the palms. Visualize a white lotus flower one cubit in front, with the syllable 'Ah' on it, emitting white light, flowing into the heart and residing on the white lotus. The mantra is:
Om Vajra-vesa ah (Om Vajra-vesa ah).
Next, form the Heart Door Closing Mudra. As before with the binding, but bring the two index fingers together, pressing against the joints of the two thumbs, and touch the heart with this mudra. The mantra is:
Om Vajra-musti vam (Om Vajra-musti vam) (meaning visualize the door closing).
Next, form the Samadhi Mudra. Cross the hands, palms upward, below the navel, with the two thumbs touching upwards. Then recite the mantra for entering Samadhi:
Om Samadhi-padme hrih (Om Samadhi-padme hrih).
Next, one should sit upright, with mindfulness, and enter Samadhi. Press the tongue against the upper palate, stopping all clinging thoughts. Visualize that all phenomena, internal and external, are empty and without substance. If there are many wandering thoughts, one should first count the breaths. The method of counting breaths is from one to seven, and then from one to seven continuously. If the mind is free from clinging, there is no need to count the breaths. Deeply enter the pure and empty state, and visualize that all Buddhas fill the void, their bodies as small as sesame seeds, possessing all auspicious marks. The Buddhas tell the practitioner: 'Good man, contemplate your own mind, and contemplate your own body, prostrating at the feet of all Buddhas.' The practitioner says to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, how should I contemplate the mind? What is the appearance of the mind?' The Buddhas tell him: 'Good man, the appearance of the mind is difficult to measure. I will give you a mantra, recite it secretly and observe.' The mantra is:
Om citta-prati-vedham karomi (Om citta-prati-vedham karomi).
The practitioner recites secretly, carefully observing his own mind, like a pure moon. The Buddhas tell him: 'Good man, your mind is originally like this, but it is obscured by defilements. You should know that this is the Bodhi-citta (Bodhi mind).' Then they give another mantra:
Om bodhi-citta mudbhavayami (Om bodhi-citta mudbhavayami).
Reciting this mantra, carefully contemplate the moon of the mind, which becomes even clearer, purer, and without blemish. Then
月輪中觀紇唎(二合)字。成一八葉白蓮花光明顯照。真言曰。
唵底瑟姹(二合)嚩日啰(二合)缽娜么(二合)
次又觀此白蓮華遍周法界量同虛空。真言曰。

次觀白蓮華漸漸收斂。虛空諸佛悉入其中量等己身。真言曰。

即變蓮華成觀自在菩薩。寶冠瓔珞相好莊嚴。放大光明遍周法界。冠上有無量壽佛本尊左手執白蓮花。右手作擘開蓮華勢。真言曰。
唵三摩喻含摩訶三摩喻含薩婆怛他孽多毗三冒地嚩日啰(二合)缽娜摩(二合)阿怛摩(二合)句含
入是三昧者。一切天龍八部。見行者身與觀自在等無差別。能除行者無量億劫生死重罪。一切勝愿無不悉地。現得圓滿金剛法身。即觀此身便成正覺。
次結加持印。外相叉金剛縛結已。即變屈二頭指。捻二大拇指。印心額喉頂各誦一遍。真言曰。

次結灌頂印。合掌已。豎二大拇指。偃蹙八指如寶形。置於頂上誦真言三遍。想五如來冠以冠其首。真言曰。

【English Translation】 English version Visualize the syllable Hrih (seed syllable) in the center of the moon disc. This transforms into an eight-petaled white lotus flower, its light shining brightly. The mantra is: Om, tistha (abide), vajra (diamond), padma (lotus). Next, visualize this white lotus flower pervading the entire Dharma realm, its size equal to space. The mantra is: Om, sphara (spread), vajra (diamond), padma (lotus). Then, visualize the white lotus flower gradually contracting, all the Buddhas in space entering into it, its size equal to your own body. The mantra is: Om, samhara (gather), vajra (diamond), padma (lotus). Immediately, the lotus flower transforms into Avalokiteśvara (the Bodhisattva of Compassion), adorned with a jeweled crown and necklaces, with auspicious marks and characteristics, emitting great light that illuminates the entire Dharma realm. On the crown is the principal deity Amitābha (the Buddha of Infinite Light), the left hand holding a white lotus flower, the right hand making the gesture of opening a lotus flower. The mantra is: Om, samayoham (I am in accordance with the vow), maha-samayoham (I am in accordance with the great vow), sarva-tathagata (all Tathagatas), bhisambodhi (perfect enlightenment), vajra (diamond), padma (lotus), atman (self), krtam (accomplished). One who enters this samadhi, all the devas, nagas, and eight classes of beings see the practitioner's body as being no different from Avalokiteśvara. It can eliminate the heavy sins of countless kalpas of birth and death for the practitioner, and all excellent wishes will be fulfilled. One will attain the perfect Vajra Dharma body in this very life, and by contemplating this body, one will achieve perfect enlightenment. Next, form the empowerment mudra. Interlace the fingers outwardly to form the Vajra Fist mudra, then bend the two index fingers and press their tips against the two thumbs. Recite the mantra once each at the heart, forehead, throat, and crown of the head. The mantra is: Om, Hrih (seed syllable), sarva-karya (all actions), adhistha (bless), sarva (all), mam (me). Next, form the initiation mudra. Bring the palms together, raise the two thumbs, and bend the remaining eight fingers into the shape of a jewel, place it on the crown of the head, and recite the mantra three times. Visualize the Five Tathagatas crowning the practitioner's head with jeweled crowns. The mantra is: Om, Hrih (seed syllable), mani (jewel), padma (lotus), abhishinca (initiate), sarva (all), mam (me), tathata (suchness).

次結系鬘印誦真言。以前冠頂印。從額分二手。于腦後三相繞如系鬘。便向前耳邊下。從小指散垂如鬘帶勢。真言曰。
唵嚩日啰(二合)缽娜摩(二合)磨隸𤚥紇唎(二合)
次結甲冑印。結金剛拳如小兒握固。以二頭指各拄二大拇指節。當心已。即伸二頭指相掩一節許。仍以右指左指上。觀右頭指面有唵字。左頭指面有跕字。口中仍誦此兩字真言不斷絕。想其字並放綠色光。如抽藕絲光不斷絕。心前三繞。背上三繞。又至臍又至兩膝。又至腰又當心。次右肩左肩次至額上。又于腦後各三繞已。卻結金剛拳印從小指散如垂天衣。
即以二縛不得解。但以掌三相拍。真言曰。
唵嚩日啰(二合)缽娜摩(二合)睹史也(二合)斛
次於壇中觀阿(上)字成月輪。于月輪中觀紇唎(二合)字成本尊身。放大光明。無量眷屬普現於圓光內。
即結鉤印。金剛縛舉右頭指。如鉤三招。一誦一招。真言曰。
唵阿夜系弱
次以索印。如前縛以二頭指相拄如環。引本尊入所觀智身。真言曰。
唵阿系吽吽
次結鎖印。準前縛以二頭指及二大指。相串各相捻如聯鎖。令本尊止住。真言曰。
唵系薩普(二合)吒𤚥
次結鈴印

Next, form the Garland Mudra and recite the mantra. Use the previous Crown Mudra. Separate the hands from the forehead and wrap them around the back of the head three times as if tying a garland. Then bring them forward and down by the ears, spreading the little fingers downward like the straps of a garland. The mantra is:
Om Vajra(two combined) Padma(two combined) Male Hrih(two combined)
Next, form the Armor Mudra. Form the Vajra Fist as if a child is clenching their fist. Place the two index fingers against the joints of the two thumbs respectively. Starting at the heart, extend the two index fingers and overlap them by about one joint, with the right index finger on top of the left. Visualize the syllable Om (seed syllable, representing emptiness) on the surface of the right index finger and the syllable Tram (seed syllable, representing light) on the surface of the left index finger. Continuously recite the mantra composed of these two syllables without interruption. Visualize both syllables emitting green light, like an unbroken thread of lotus silk. Circle three times in front of the heart, three times on the back, then to the navel, then to both knees, then to the waist, and then back to the heart. Next, to the right shoulder, left shoulder, then to the forehead, and then circle three times behind the head. Then release the Vajra Fist Mudra, spreading the little fingers like hanging celestial garments.
Then, with the two bonds (referring to the Vajra Bond Mudra), do not release them. Simply clap the palms together three times. The mantra is:
Om Vajra(two combined) Padma(two combined) Tushtaya(two combined) Hum
Next, visualize the syllable Ah (seed syllable, representing the origin) in the center of the mandala transforming into a moon disc. Within the moon disc, visualize the syllable Hrih(two combined) (seed syllable, representing the lotus) becoming the body of the principal deity. Emit great light, with countless retinue universally appearing within the halo.
Then form the Hook Mudra. Form the Vajra Bond Mudra and raise the right index finger, hooking three times. Recite the mantra once for each hook. The mantra is:
Om Agya Jih
Next, use the Rope Mudra. Like the previous Vajra Bond Mudra, hold the two index fingers together like a ring. Guide the principal deity into the visualized wisdom body. The mantra is:
Om Ah Hum Hum
Next, form the Chain Mudra. According to the previous Vajra Bond Mudra, interlock the two index fingers and two thumbs, each twisted together like a chain. Cause the principal deity to abide. The mantra is:
Om Jih Sarva Puta Tram
Next, form the Bell Mudra.
。準前縛屈二大拇指入掌中。三撼手如搖鈴。令本尊歡喜。真言曰。
唵尾舍耶斛(引)
次結獻遏伽香水印。誦百字真言或余讚歎。兩手外相叉擘開掌。以二中指頭相合。以二頭指微屈。去中指背一麥許不相著。狀如三鈷杵頭。二大拇指博著二頭指下側。即想香水滿掬。誦真言向前寫灌洗本尊足。真言曰。
唵嚩日𡀔(二合)娜迦坼
本尊既至次結羯摩印。左手金剛拳當心著。想把白蓮華。右手亦金剛拳于上轉。想撥開蓮葉即身。同本尊事業真言曰。
唵嚩日啰(二合)達摩紇唎(二合)
次結三昧耶印。金剛縛屈二頭指。以二大拇指押。同已上加持印。令本尊憶本誓願加持攝護。真言曰。
唵薩嚩迦里(誦三遍)
然後結金剛嬉戲內供養印。金剛縛伸二大拇指。偃向身相併當心。真言曰。
唵摩訶啰底(丁以反)
次結鬘。準前印更不改。但以二臂相併直伸。向前當額。真言曰。
唵𡀔波輸陛

【English Translation】 English version: Then, form the Jnana Bandha Mudra, bend both thumbs into the palms, shake the hands three times like ringing a bell, to please the principal deity (本尊, Benzun). The mantra is: 'Om Visaya Hum (elongated)' Next, form the offering Arghya (遏伽, E'qie) with fragrant water Mudra, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra or other praises. Cross both hands outwards, open the palms, bring the tips of the two middle fingers together, slightly bend the two index fingers, leaving a distance of about a barley grain from the back of the middle fingers, without touching, shaped like the head of a three-pronged vajra (三鈷杵, Sān gǔ chǔ). Press both thumbs against the lower sides of the two index fingers. Imagine the fragrant water is full in the cupped hands, recite the mantra and pour it forward, washing the feet of the principal deity. Dissolve the Vajra Bond Mudra upwards, as if scattering flowers. The mantra says: 'Om Phala Gami' Next, form the Lamp Mudra.
