歸命最聖觀自在, 滿月妙相蓮華生, 能以無畏施有情, 我今稱讚彼功德: 「一切善法悉具足, 頂戴諸佛大智冠, 福慧莊嚴最上尊, 是故歸命蓮華手。 兩頰圓滿紅白色, 鼻相修直妙端嚴, 齒如珂雪密復齊, 四牙平正而具足; 梵音清響復深妙, 一切聞者生愛心, 凡所宣說眾語言, 柔和善順而甘美; 常以大悲方便力, 救度一切苦眾生, 自利利他眾導師, 是故歸命蓮華手。 雙眉同彼初生月, 身相猶如真紫金, 眾寶為鬘以莊嚴, 一切見者無厭足; 敷鹿皮衣而為座, 最上自在眾中尊, 身諸相分悉周圓, 是故歸命蓮華手。 上妙細㲲為絡腋, 摩尼珠寶作耳環, 世出世寶所莊嚴, 最上自在最尊勝; 諸善功德皆滿足, 一切世間大法王, 能開種種方便門, 是故歸命蓮華手。 罪業眾生微塵數, 無量劫來處輪迴, 菩薩常生方便心, 化度悉令歸智聚; 放慈悲光

I take refuge in the most sacred Avalokiteśvara (Avalokiteśvara), who has a beautiful face like the full moon, born from a lotus flower, Able to bestow fearlessness upon sentient beings, I now praise your merits: 'All good dharmas are fully possessed, wearing the crown of great wisdom of all Buddhas on your head, Adorned with blessings and wisdom, you are the most尊貴one, therefore I take refuge in you who has lotus hands. Your cheeks are round and full, appearing reddish-white, your nose is long and straight, wonderfully dignified, Your teeth are as white as shells, close and even, your four canine teeth are straight and complete; Your Brahma-like voice is clear and resonant, deep and wonderful, all who hear it develop loving hearts, Whatever languages you proclaim, are gentle, harmonious, and sweet; You often use the power of great compassion and skillful means to save all suffering beings, Benefiting both yourself and others, you are the guide of beings, therefore I take refuge in you who has lotus hands. Your eyebrows are like newly formed crescent moons, your body is like pure purple gold, Adorned with garlands woven from various jewels, all who see you never tire; Spreading deerskin as your seat, you are the most自在, most respected尊者, Every part of your body is perfectly complete, therefore I take refuge in you who has lotus hands. You wear a superior, fine, soft garment as armor, with earrings made of mani jewels, Adorned with worldly and otherworldly treasures, you are the most自在, the most尊貴victor; You possess all good merits, you are the great Dharma King of the world, Able to open all kinds of expedient gates, therefore I take refuge in you who has lotus hands. Sentient beings with heavy sins are as numerous as dust particles, revolving in samsara for countless kalpas, Bodhisattva, you always cherish a heart of skillful means, teaching and transforming them, so that they ultimately return to the gathering place of wisdom; You emit the light of compassion
照一切, 以最上法施眾生, 普令有情證菩提, 是故歸命蓮華手。 所有阿鼻大地獄, 菩薩慈悲往現身, 破壞彼趣悉無餘, 閻摩獄卒生驚怖; 彼諸業報眾生類, 咸皆離苦罪銷除, 惡趣能以智火焚, 是故歸命蓮華手。 具足悲智行願力, 欲色界中皆現身, 於法自在利群生, 閻摩眷屬悉歡喜; 破壞一切罪業境, 令諸苦惱不復生, 有情離苦得清涼, 是故歸命蓮華手。 我今稱讚大聖者, 最上色相無等倫, 無礙自在三界尊, 普施眾生無所畏; 度脫有情出苦海, 斷彼三毒煩惱根, 咸令得住安樂中, 是故歸命蓮華手。 所有一切餓鬼眾, 針咽大腹及臭毛, 如是等類數甚多, 晝夜受彼飢渴苦, 由彼飢渴火所逼, 互相吞啖苦惱生, 菩薩悲願力所持, 往彼現身而救濟, 先化種種美飲食, 各各令飽益身胑, 復為宣說正法門, 一切得離諸苦惱; 菩薩悲智方便力, 能入一切趣類中, 利行同事攝有情, 是故歸命蓮華手。 身有大摩尼珠寶, 常出凈妙眾光明, 普照世間諸暗暝, 映蔽日月而不現, 所有夜叉羅剎等, 蒙光照者悉歸依, 觀眾生心

【English Translation】 English version Illuminating all, bestowing the supreme Dharma upon sentient beings, Universally enabling all sentient beings to attain Bodhi (Enlightenment), therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand (Lotus Hand Avalokiteśvara). In all the great Avīci hells (the lowest of the eight great hells, the uninterrupted hell), the Bodhisattva compassionately manifests his form, Destroying that realm, making it completely disappear, the jailers of Yama (the King of Hell) are terrified; Those sentient beings suffering from karmic retribution are able to escape suffering and eliminate their sins, Able to burn evil realms with the fire of wisdom, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. Possessing compassion, wisdom, practice, and vows, manifesting in all realms of desire, Being free in the Dharma, benefiting sentient beings, the retinue of Yama are all delighted; Destroying all realms of sin, preventing all suffering from arising again, Enabling sentient beings to escape suffering and attain coolness, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. I now praise this great sage, whose supreme form is unparalleled, Unobstructed and free, the honored one of the three realms (desire realm, form realm, formless realm), universally bestowing fearlessness upon sentient beings; Rescuing sentient beings from the sea of suffering, cutting off the roots of their three poisons of greed, anger, and ignorance, Enabling them all to dwell in peace and happiness, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. All the hungry ghosts, with their needle-thin throats, large bellies, and foul-smelling hair, Such kinds are very numerous, suffering from hunger and thirst day and night, Forced by the flames of hunger and thirst, they devour each other, causing suffering, Supported by the Bodhisattva's compassion and vows, he goes there to manifest his form and rescue them, First transforming various delicious foods, enabling each of them to be full and nourish their bodies, And then proclaiming the true Dharma for them, enabling all beings to escape all suffering; The Bodhisattva, with the power of compassion, wisdom, and skillful means, is able to enter all realms, Embracing sentient beings through beneficial actions and shared endeavors, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. His body possesses great Maṇi jewels (wish-fulfilling jewel), constantly emitting pure and wonderful light, Universally illuminating all the darkness in the world, eclipsing the light of the sun and moon, All the Yakṣas (a type of spirit) and Rākṣasas (a type of demon), who are illuminated by the light, take refuge, Observing the minds of sentient beings.
令斷疑, 是故歸命蓮華手。 大力阿修羅王眾, 斗諍勇猛而難調, 菩薩亦現彼趣中, 方便說法而化度, 彼聞法已斷疑惑, 各各生於慈善心, 能施最上妙法門, 是故歸命蓮華手。 菩薩曾游諸天界, 入一妙環天子宮, 隨順方便開化門, 彼天悉無諸所施, 是時天子生苦惱, 菩薩即為現珍財, 令彼天子滿施心, 是故歸命蓮華手。 所有一切貪慾者, 常為煩惱火所燒, 得見菩薩善威容, 即能迴心思正法, 世間貪瞋癡盛者, 恭敬頂禮大聖尊, 三毒煩惱獲銷除, 是故歸命蓮華手。 眾生界分無邊際, 蜫蟲螻蟻數無窮, 菩薩亦以慈悲心, 處處方便而化度, 世間或時值饑饉, 即變所食濟群生, 咸令息彼飢渴心, 是故歸命蓮華手。 若見眾生處大海, 舡筏破壞慾漂沈, 菩薩慈悲現馬身, 令其攀附而得渡, 眾生乘舡在大海, 菩薩隨意使其風, 若順若逆濟眾生, 咸令遠離諸怖畏。 菩薩已離三界苦, 圓滿三摩地法門, 復能攝化諸有情, 數等虛空無邊際; 菩薩已離種種怖, 所謂羅剎諸部多, 必舍左及拏吉泥, 邪迷一切惡鬼眾, 大水大火

The mighty Asura Kings (Axiuluowang, a type of deity with great power but a violent temperament) and their retinues, fond of fighting and brave but difficult to tame, The Bodhisattva also appears in their realms, using expedient teachings to transform and liberate them, Having heard the Dharma, they cut off their doubts, and each generated a compassionate heart, Able to bestow the supreme and wonderful Dharma gate, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. The Bodhisattva once traveled to the heavens, entering the palace of a celestial being, Wonderful Ring Heavenly Son (Miaohuantianzi, a celestial being in the heavens), Following their capacities, expediently opening the gate of teaching and transformation, those celestial beings had nothing to give, At this time, the heavenly son generated suffering, and the Bodhisattva manifested precious treasures for them, Enabling those heavenly sons to fulfill their wish to give, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. All those who are full of greed are constantly burned by the fire of afflictions, Upon seeing the Bodhisattva's kind and beautiful majestic appearance, they can turn their minds towards the right Dharma, Those in the world where greed, hatred, and delusion are rampant, respectfully prostrate before the Great Holy One (Dashengzun, the Great Sage), The afflictions of the three poisons (greed, hatred, and delusion) can be eliminated, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. The realms of sentient beings are boundless, the number of insects and ants is endless, The Bodhisattva also uses a compassionate heart, employing expedient means everywhere to transform and liberate them, When famine occurs in the world, the Bodhisattva transforms food to relieve sentient beings, Enabling them all to cease their hunger and thirst, therefore I take refuge in Lotus Hand. If one sees sentient beings in the great ocean, their boats broken and about to drift and sink, The Bodhisattva compassionately manifests as a horse, allowing them to cling to it and be ferried across, Sentient beings riding in boats on the great ocean, the Bodhisattva freely controls the wind, Whether favorable or adverse, saving sentient beings, enabling them all to be far from all fears. The Bodhisattva has already escaped the suffering of the Three Realms (Sanjie, the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm), perfected the Dharma gate of Samadhi (Sanmodi, meditation), And can also gather and transform numerous sentient beings, their number as boundless as space; The Bodhisattva has already escaped all kinds of fears, such as Rakshasas (Luosha, demons) and all Bhutas (Zhubuduo, spirits), Piśāca (Bishezhuo, name of a demon) and Ḍākinīs (Najini, name of a female demon), all evil and deluded evil spirits, Great water, great fire
並盜賊, 虎狼蟲獸及刀兵, 疾病毒藥與邪明, 乃至王刑禁縛等; 菩薩自得遠離已, 而復為彼諸眾生, 自利利他大導師, 最上大悲無畏者; 菩薩已具諸梵行, 如日月分照世間, 人天稱讚大聖尊, 是為最上真梵行; 菩薩常住三摩地, 無邊功德為所依, 隨順方便現所居, 補陀落山為住止, 其山高廣復殊妙, 種種珍寶以莊嚴, 彼有寶樹數甚多, 低羅迦及瞻波等, 有諸異鳥止其上, 常出清凈妙好音, 如是莊嚴聖所居, 禮敬瞻仰而獲福, 俱尾啰並嚩嚕乃, 及彼閻摩等三天, 乾闥婆王修羅王, 夜叉王及諸龍主, 乃至部多等諸類, 若天若神一切王, 晝夜各生恭敬心, 歸依稱讚真聖者, 彼等如是稱讚已, 一切所欲皆隨心, 大富快樂壽命長, 勇猛精進具威德, 息除無量諸苦惱, 夢中怖畏亦不生, 乃至壽命欲終時, 菩薩現身而安慰。」 聖觀自在功德海, 無量無邊無有窮, 假以百舌千劫中, 稱揚讚歎不能盡。

【English Translation】 English version Avoiding robbers, tigers, wolves, insects, beasts, and weapons, Avoiding diseases, poisons, and evil influences, even royal punishments and imprisonments; The Bodhisattva, having freed himself from these sufferings, again for those beings, A great teacher who benefits both himself and others, the supreme, greatly compassionate, and fearless one; The Bodhisattva, having perfected all pure practices, shines like the sun and moon upon the world, The great sage revered by humans and gods, this is the supreme true pure practice; The Bodhisattva constantly dwells in Samadhi (禪定), relying on boundless merits, According to convenience, he manifests his dwelling place, Mount Potalaka (觀音菩薩道場) is his abode, That mountain is tall, broad, and exceedingly wonderful, adorned with various treasures, There are countless precious trees, such as Tilaka trees (低羅迦樹) and Campaka trees (瞻波樹), Various exotic birds perch upon them, constantly emitting pure and wonderful sounds, Such a magnificent dwelling place of the sage, reverently gazing upon it brings blessings, Kuvera (俱尾啰, God of wealth), Varuna (嚩嚕乃, God of water), and Yama (閻摩, King of the underworld), the three gods, Gandharva kings (乾闥婆王, celestial musicians), Asura kings (修羅王, demigods), Yaksa kings (夜叉王, nature spirits), and all dragon lords, Even Bhutas (部多, spirits) and other beings, whether gods or spirits, all kings, Day and night, they generate respectful minds, taking refuge in and praising the true sage, Having praised him in this way, all their desires are fulfilled as they wish, Great wealth, happiness, and long life, courageous and diligent, possessing power and virtue, Eliminating countless sufferings, fear in dreams will not arise, Even when life is about to end, the Bodhisattva will manifest his form to comfort them.
