大聖自在觀世音 百千萬億應無盡 神通無礙無所住 大慈大悲愍眾生 六根互用智慧深 聞思修入三摩地 濟度隨機而顯現 有如一月印千江 一江有月一江明 明照惟一本無二 世人但以眼觀色 菩薩乃以目觀聲 彼惟有所窒于觀 是故不能神妙用 大士有目冥不睹 耳鼻舌身意亦然 能以此觀如是觀 終不顛倒成妄想 熏習見聞既寂滅 亦復無是妙色身 有能洞此十方空 同證圓通三昧海 身心無量遍沙界 不動本際應所求 譬如萬卉遇春風 種種萌芽自生髮 敷榮暢達各長茂 或為枝葉結果成 酸堿甜苦及青紅 一切皆令如願足 現前是法不思議 不著諸相乃為真 一毛遍量法界空 洗凈五濁諸熱惱 摧裂障山悉消蕩 無邊苦趣總脫離 娑婆世界為樂城 妙相恒沙俱顯露 以太虛空為體相 寶髻攢聚五須彌 以四大海為口門 曜日月光為兩目 森羅萬像為瓔珞 發無上愿具辯才 引施十四無畏功 妙顯三十二身應 普為眾生之瞻仰 廣運諸佛慈悲心 身與眾生為一

【English Translation】 English version Taisho Tripitaka Volume 20 No. 1055梵贊 of Holy Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva Spoken by the Buddha No. 1055 Imperial Praise of Guanyin Composed by Emperor Taizong Wen of the Great Ming Dynasty The Great Holy Self-Existing Guanshiyin (Guanshiyin, Avalokiteśvara) responds limitlessly to hundreds of thousands of millions. His spiritual powers are unobstructed and dwell nowhere; with great compassion, He pities all living beings. The six senses function interchangeably, His wisdom is profound; through hearing, contemplation, and cultivation, He enters Samadhi (Samadhi). He saves and delivers, appearing according to circumstances, like the moon reflected in a thousand rivers. Each river has a moon, each river is bright; the brightness shines on the one original, without duality. Worldly people only use their eyes to see forms; the Bodhisattva uses His eyes to observe sounds. They are obstructed in their observation; therefore, they cannot achieve miraculous functions. The Great Being has eyes but does not see darkness; the ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind are also like this. Able to observe in this way, observing in such a manner, one will never be inverted and form delusions. The accumulated habits of seeing and hearing are extinguished; likewise, there is no exquisite form body. One who can penetrate this emptiness of the ten directions will together realize the perfect penetration Samadhi sea. Body and mind are immeasurable, pervading the realms of sand; unmoving from the original state, He responds to what is sought. It is like myriad plants encountering the spring breeze; various sprouts naturally grow and develop. They flourish and thrive, each growing tall; some become branches and leaves, bearing fruit. Sour, alkaline, sweet, bitter, blue, and red; He fulfills all wishes as desired. The Dharma present before us is inconceivable; not clinging to any characteristics is the truth. A single hair pervades the emptiness of the Dharma realm; washing away the five turbidities and all hot afflictions. Crushing and tearing down the mountain of obstacles, all are dissipated; boundless suffering realms are all liberated. The Saha world (Saha world) is a city of joy; wondrous appearances, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, are all revealed. Taking the great void as His body and form; jeweled topknots gather like five Mount Sumeru (Mount Sumeru). Taking the four great oceans as His mouth; the light of the sun and moon as His two eyes. The myriad phenomena are His necklace; He makes unsurpassed vows and possesses eloquence. He leads and bestows the merit of the fourteen fearlessnesses; wonderfully manifesting responses in thirty-two forms. Universally for the veneration of all beings; broadly conveying the compassionate heart of all Buddhas. His body and sentient beings are one.

【English Translation】 English version The body responds to sensations and moves accordingly. You can see me with right view; I observe freedom with no view. Like a mirror reflecting a mirror, a valley echoing sounds, containing, gathering, clear, and thorough, all is natural. Attaining this Samadhi (禪定, meditative absorption) transcends the mundane; one Dharma (法, law/teaching) fully possesses all Buddhas. Opening the treasury of compassion and merit, universally showing the expedient gate of good deeds. May all sentient beings in the Bhadrakalpa (賢劫, Fortunate Aeon) attain Bodhi (菩提, enlightenment) and ascend to perfect enlightenment.
