唐天竺三藏寶思惟譯

爾時觀世音菩薩。白佛言世尊。我有明咒法大壇。名蓮花峰金剛加持秘密無礙觀世音蓮華如意摩尼轉輪心陀羅尼。觀世音心最勝成就。世尊為能與一切眾生愿成就故。於世尊前我今當說。唯愿世尊加護於我。為一切咒仙雨大寶雨。如大劫樹如如意摩尼。當令一切眾生所愿滿足。佛言我已加持汝。今當說一切悕求皆令滿足無能障礙觀世音心秘密與愿。爾時觀世音菩薩摩訶薩。往詣佛所頂禮佛足。右繞三匝於世尊前熙怡微笑。以大悲心說此咒王。咒曰。

次說心咒咒曰。

這時，觀世音菩薩對佛說：『世尊，我有一個明咒法大壇，名為蓮花峰金剛加持秘密無礙觀世音蓮華如意摩尼轉輪心陀羅尼。此觀世音心咒是最殊勝的成就。世尊，爲了能讓一切眾生的願望都得以實現，在世尊面前，我現在應當宣說此咒。唯愿世尊加持於我，為一切咒仙降下大寶雨，如大劫樹一般，又如如意摩尼一般，應當令一切眾生所愿滿足。』佛說：『我已經加持你了。現在應當宣說此能令一切希求皆得滿足、無能障礙的觀世音心秘密與愿之咒。』這時，觀世音菩薩摩訶薩，前往佛的處所，頂禮佛足，右繞三匝，在世尊面前歡喜微笑，以大悲心宣說此咒王。咒曰：

『那謨喝啰怛曩(二合)怛啰(二合)夜吔(皈依三寶)(一) 那摩阿哩吔(皈依聖者)(二) 婆嚕吉帝說(觀自在)(長引聲)(三) 婆啰吔(給予者)(四) 菩提薩埵吔(菩薩)(五) 摩訶薩埵吔(大菩薩)(六) 摩訶迦嚧膩迦吔(大悲者)(七) 怛侄他(即說咒曰)(八) 烏唵(二合)(種子字)(九) 斫迦啰(二合)(輪)(十) 靺哩底(二合)(轉)(十一) 震哆末尼(如意寶)(十二) 摩訶缽特迷(二合)(大蓮花)(十三) 嚕嚕(光明)(十四) 底瑟姹(二合)(安住)(十五) 啜啰(速疾)(十六) 阿羯哩灑(二合)耶(吸引)(十七) 虎𤙖(二合)(忿怒聲)(十八) 泮吒(二合半聲)(摧破)(十九) 莎(引)訶(成就)(二十)』此名根本咒

其次宣說心咒，咒曰：

【English Translation】 English version The Guanshiyin Bodhisattva Cintamani Dharani Sutra

Translated by the Tripiṭaka Master Bao Siwei from Tianzhu (India) of the Tang Dynasty

At that time, Guanshiyin (Avalokiteśvara) Bodhisattva said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, I have a great mandala of luminous mantra, named the Lotus Peak Vajra Empowerment Secret Unobstructed Guanshiyin Lotus Cintamani Turning Wheel Heart Dharani. This Guanshiyin heart mantra is the most supreme accomplishment. World Honored One, in order to fulfill the wishes of all sentient beings, I shall now proclaim this mantra before the World Honored One. May the World Honored One bless me, and rain down great treasure rain for all mantra sages, like the great kalpa tree, and like the Cintamani jewel, so that all the wishes of all sentient beings may be fulfilled.' The Buddha said: 'I have already blessed you. Now you should proclaim this secret wish-fulfilling Guanshiyin heart mantra that can fulfill all desires and is unobstructed.' At that time, Guanshiyin Bodhisattva Mahasattva, went to the Buddha's place, prostrated at the Buddha's feet, circumambulated three times to the right, and smiled joyfully before the World Honored One, and with great compassion proclaimed this mantra king. The mantra says:

'Namo He La Da Na (皈依)(two combined syllables) Da La (皈依)(two combined syllables) Ye Ye (to the Triple Gem)(1) Nama Ali Ye (皈依)(to the noble one)(2) Ba Lu Ji Di Shuo (Avalokiteśvara)(long sound)(3) Ba La Ye (giver)(4) Bodhi Sado Ye (Bodhisattva)(5) Maha Sado Ye (Great Bodhisattva)(6) Maha Jialuni Jia Ye (Great Compassionate One)(7) Da Zhi Ta (thus it is)(8) Om (seed syllable)(9) Zhuo Jialuo (wheel)(two combined syllables)(10) Mo Li Di (turn)(two combined syllables)(11) Zhen Duo Mo Ni (Cintamani jewel)(12) Maha Bo Te Mi (great lotus)(two combined syllables)(13) Lu Lu (light)(14) Di Se Zha (abide)(two combined syllables)(15) Chuo La (quickly)(16) A Jie Li Sha Ye (attract)(two combined syllables)(17) Hu Hong (sound of wrath)(two combined syllables)(18) Pan Zha (destroy)(two combined syllables, half sound)(19) Suo Ha (accomplishment)(20)' This is called the root mantra.

次說隨心咒咒曰。

烏唵(二合一)嚩啰陀(二)缽特迷(二合三)虎𤙖(二合四)

說此咒已。大地應時六種震動。一切天宮亦皆搖動。一切龍宮亦皆戰掉。一切夜叉乾闥婆阿修羅迦樓羅緊那羅摩睺落伽。種種皆大戰掉。一切惡魔及頻那野迦。作障礙者悉皆驚怖。一切魔宮無有光明。一切鄙惡眾生惡龍惡鬼女夜叉女羅剎。諸極惡者伏面倒地。諸惡毒蟲藏竄孔穴。一切地獄無不散壞。地獄眾生悉得解脫皆生天上。於世尊前雨天供養花香衣服諸莊嚴具。于虛空中奏諸天樂。爾時世尊以加陵頻伽美妙音聲。贊觀世音菩薩言。善哉善哉汝為利益一切眾生故。當說此咒功能。觀世音菩薩白佛言。世尊若有善男子善女人比丘比丘尼。若欲現前求諸利益愿即獲者。此如意咒印應當勤修。不須作法不求宿日。不須持齋不須洗浴不須別衣。受持之時不須辛苦。但讀皆即成就。誦者辦諸事業。能作百千種種事業。無有餘咒與此等者。初能銷罪。往昔以來所積集者。所作事業皆令成就。我今當說但讀及誦。即能成就無上之事。才讀即令墮阿鼻者。皆得清凈。五無間者銷滅無餘病者皆除。若有患者但讀此咒即皆除差。一切諸毒咒術厭

Next, the Heart Mantra is spoken. The mantra is:

Om（two combined, first） Varada（second） Patme（two combined, third） Hum（two combined, fourth）

After this mantra is spoken, the earth immediately shakes in six ways. All the palaces of the heavens also shake. All the dragon palaces also tremble and shake. All the Yakshas (Yaksa, a type of spirit), Gandharvas (Gandharva, a type of celestial musician), Asuras (Asura, a type of demon), Garudas (Garuda, a mythical bird), Kinnaras (Kinnara, a type of celestial being), and Mahoragas (Mahoraga, a type of serpent deity) all greatly tremble and shake. All evil demons and Vinayakas (Vinayaka, the elephant-headed god), all those who create obstacles, are terrified. All demon palaces are without light. All base and vile beings, evil dragons, evil ghosts, female Yakshas, and female Rakshasas (Rakshasa, a female demon), all extremely evil beings fall to the ground. All poisonous insects hide in their holes. All hells without exception are destroyed. All beings in hell are liberated and reborn in the heavens. Before the World Honored One, they rain down heavenly offerings of flowers, incense, clothing, and various adornments. In the empty sky, heavenly music is played. At that time, the World Honored One, with a voice as beautiful as the Kalavinka (Kalavinka, a mythical bird with a beautiful voice), praised Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, saying: 'Excellent! Excellent! For the benefit of all beings, you should speak of the function of this mantra.' Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, if there are good men, good women, Bhikshus (Bhiksu, a Buddhist monk), or Bhikshunis (Bhiksuni, a Buddhist nun), who wish to immediately obtain various benefits and have their wishes fulfilled, then they should diligently cultivate this Wish-Fulfilling Mantra and Mudra. It is not necessary to perform rituals, seek auspicious days, observe fasting, bathe, or wear special clothing. When receiving and holding this mantra, it is not necessary to exert oneself. Simply reciting it will lead to immediate accomplishment. Those who recite it can accomplish all kinds of tasks and can perform hundreds of thousands of different deeds. No other mantra is equal to this one. It can initially eliminate sins, those accumulated from the past, and all undertakings will be accomplished. I will now speak of it. Simply reading and reciting it can accomplish unsurpassed things. Just reading it can purify even those who have fallen into Avici Hell (Avici, the lowest of the eight great hells). The five heinous offenses (Panca-anantarya, the five gravest offenses) will be completely eradicated, and all illnesses will be removed. If someone is suffering from illness, simply reading this mantra will cure them. All poisons, spells, and curses'

蠱皆不能害。一切諸瘡不著其身。一切鬼神頻那夜迦。諸毒刀杖風雨惡災。魔軍及賊他軍王難怨家伺求。毒蠱猛獸皆不能為害。終不橫死不作惡夢。戰伐斗諍無不皆勝。此等諸事才讀即成。唇內誦之滿一百遍。觀世音菩薩即于其日現彼人前。與其所愿皆令成就。又見一切諸佛如來。及見西方無量壽佛。極樂世界及菩薩會。補特勒伽山中觀世音菩薩宮殿。其身清凈貴人供養眾人樂見。罪障蓋纏無不清凈。所生之處得宿命智。蓮華化生一切妙具。皆自裝嚴直至菩提。永離惡趣究竟成佛。罪惡消滅善道清凈。才讀誦者皆即成就。

爾時觀世音菩薩。復說最上秘密功能。若為利益哀愍一切眾生。攝取令伏遮止惡人。令慈增長唸誦即成。能與眾生作大利益。令諸智者得大安樂。貨食增長富貴資具。無不豐足色力滋盛。此咒秘密不得妄說。若欲真實成就無上如意摩尼大印唸誦即成。若已食若未食若凈若不凈。每常誦唸悉無過患。誦唸之時當念憶觀世音菩薩永作依怙。若貴若賤若男若女沙門外道。稱其名字注心繫念。而誦此咒應以後夜若平明時。男最貴者一千八遍。女最貴者一千十遍。第二貴男誦八百遍。第二貴女誦七百遍。第三貴女誦六百遍。若婆羅門誦五百遍。剎利四百遍。首陀三百。毗舍二百。比丘一百八遍。女人一百

【English Translation】 English version Poisons and harms are all unable to injure. All sores do not adhere to his body. All ghosts and spirits, Vinayaka (obstacle-creating deities) [Vinayaka]. All poisons, knives, staves, wind and rain disasters, demon armies, as well as thieves, enemy armies, the king's difficulties, vengeful enemies seeking opportunities, poisonous insects, and fierce beasts are all unable to harm. Ultimately, he will not die a violent death and will not have nightmares. He will be victorious in all battles and disputes. These matters are accomplished simply by reciting. Silently recite it within the lips one hundred times, and Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva will appear before that person on that very day, fulfilling all his wishes. He will also see all Buddhas and Tathagatas, as well as Amitabha Buddha (Infinite Life Buddha) of the Western Paradise, the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and the assembly of Bodhisattvas, the palace of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva on Mount Potalaka (Potalaka). His body will be pure, he will be honored by nobles, and all will be delighted to see him. The coverings and entanglements of karmic obstacles will all be purified. In the place where he is born, he will obtain knowledge of past lives, be born from a lotus flower, and all wonderful adornments will naturally be present, until enlightenment (Bodhi). He will forever be separated from the evil realms and ultimately become a Buddha. Sins will be extinguished, and the path of goodness will be purified. Those who recite it will all achieve these things. At that time, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva again spoke of the supreme secret function. If it is for the benefit and compassion of all sentient beings, to subdue and control them, to restrain evil people, to increase compassion, recitation will accomplish it. It can bring great benefit to sentient beings, and bring great peace and happiness to the wise. Goods and food will increase, and wealth, riches, and resources will be abundant, without lack. Appearance and strength will be nourished and vigorous. This mantra is secret and must not be spoken recklessly. If you truly wish to accomplish the supreme wish-fulfilling jewel (mani) [wish-fulfilling jewel] great mudra, recitation will accomplish it. Whether you have eaten or not, whether you are clean or unclean, constant recitation will have no fault. When reciting, you should remember Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, always as your refuge. Whether noble or lowly, whether male or female, Shramana (monk) [monk] or heretic (non-Buddhist) [non-Buddhist], call his name, focus your mind, and recite this mantra, it should be in the latter part of the night or at dawn. The noblest man should recite it one thousand and eight times, the noblest woman one thousand and ten times. The second noblest man should recite it eight hundred times, the second noblest woman seven hundred times. The third noblest woman should recite it six hundred times. If it is a Brahmin (Brahmin) [Brahmin], recite it five hundred times, a Kshatriya (Kshatriya) [Kshatriya] four hundred times, a Shudra (Shudra) [Shudra] three hundred times, a Vaishya (Vaishya) [Vaishya] two hundred times, a Bhikshu (bhiksu) [bhiksu] one hundred and eight times, and a woman one hundred times.

三十遍。丈夫一百五十遍。童男六十。童女九十。此唸誦法無不歸依。攝百由旬迅疾如風。誦八百遍觀音真身現前令見。一切所愿皆能與之。一切眾生明咒成就。誦十千遍。聖者執金剛真身現前令咒者見。如所愛子鞠養抱持。一切明咒皆令成就。凡有所欲愿與之令滿。誦十三千遍得見一切諸佛如來。誦滿七日諸咒仙王。皆以真身現咒者前。各以所成明咒授與。隱蔽其形隨逐擁護。一切安樂無不現前。七日之內每日之中。於後夜時誦三千遍。帝釋天王及諸天女。下來歸依與明咒愿。如是等事但誦即成唸誦法了。

爾時復說見者伏法無上成就。若才用者一切隨順。

牛黃　白檀香　鬱金香　龍腦香　麝香　肉豆蔻　白豆蔻　丁香　紅蓮花　青蓮花　金赤土

已上物等分。用白石蜜和之。此是轉輪香。誦咒一千八遍而和合。燒以薰衣涂額涂眼瞼上涂身。所去之處如日威光眾所樂見。若在手者悉皆成就。一切眾生若貴若賤。自身及財亦皆歸伏。

爾時觀世音菩薩。為利益一切眾生故。復說眼藥之法成就最上。若有用者即得成就決定無疑　摩那叱羅　雄黃　迦俱婆婆樹子汁　紅蓮花　青蓮花　海沫(一名海浮石)　牛黃　鬱金根(一名黃姜)　小柏根　胡椒　畢撥　乾薑。

以前件藥。並搗研為

This supreme heart mantra can be accomplished simply by reading it. You should do it this way.' Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva should protect all beings, constantly watch over them, and enable them to achieve fulfillment, so that all beings' wishes are fulfilled. Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva said to the Buddha, 'World Honored One, for the sake of benefiting and protecting all beings, I now uphold this mantra. For the sake of fulfilling all wishes, I recite this bright mantra, so that all kinds of wishes are fulfilled. Therefore, World Honored One, I now sincerely pray, may the World Honored One compassionately bless and protect me.'
