我今順瑜伽 金剛頂經說 摩尼蓮花部 如意念誦法 修此三昧故 能如觀自在 先擇其弟子 族姓敬法者 多人所敬愛 智慧而勇進 決定毗離耶 覺慧常不捨 盡孝于父母 凈信於三寶 樂修菩提行 於四無量心 剎那無有間 常樂大乘法 住于菩薩戒 恭敬阿阇梨 一切諸聖者 成就堅固力 丈夫之勇猛 善通相應門 常樂寂靜行 智慧無所畏 以戒常嚴身 精修秘密乘 敬依理趣道 一心無所吝 常樂聞妙法 曾入三昧耶 從師獲灌頂 既蒙印可已 不久當成就 弟子具此相 方可為傳授 此即如意寶 能成諸事業 如經說處所 山間及流水 清凈阿蘭若 隨樂之澗谷 離諸危怖難 隨力嚴供具 行人面于西 漫提自在王 次禮余方佛 以五輪著地 如教之敬禮 雙膝長跪已 合掌虛心住 誠心盡陳說 三業一切罪

【English Translation】 English version The Yoga of Avalokiteśvara (Guānzìzài Púsà) Cintāmaṇicakra (Rúyìlún) - One Scroll
Translated by the Tripiṭaka (Sānzàng) Śramaṇa (Shāmén) Bukong (Amoghavajra), of the Daxingshan Temple, with the title of 'Greatly Wise',奉 詔 (by imperial decree). He was the Kaifu Yitong Sansi Tejin Shi Hongluqing, the Duke of Su of the State, with an estate of three thousand households, granted purple robes, posthumously awarded the title of Sikong, and posthumously named Dajian, with the formal title of 'Greatly Wise'.
Now I follow the teachings of Yoga, as explained in the Vajraśekhara Sūtra (Jīngāngdǐng Jīng). Concerning the Cintāmaṇicakra (Rúyìlún) recitation method of the Maṇi (寶珠) Lotus division. By practicing this samādhi (正定), one can become like Avalokiteśvara (Guānzìzài Púsà). First, select a disciple, choosing those of pure lineage who respect the Dharma. One who is respected and loved by many, wise and courageous in advancement. Possessing firm vīrya (精進), and never abandoning awakened wisdom. Devotedly filial to parents, with pure faith in the Three Jewels (Triratna: Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). Delighting in cultivating the Bodhi (覺悟) path, and towards the Four Immeasurables (Brahmavihāras: loving-kindness, compassion, joy, equanimity). Without interruption for even a moment, always delighting in the Mahāyāna Dharma. Abiding in the Bodhisattva precepts, and revering the ācārya (導師). As well as all the holy beings, accomplishing steadfast strength. Possessing the courage of a great person, skilled in understanding the corresponding Dharma gates. Always delighting in solitary practice, fearless in wisdom. Constantly adorning oneself with precepts, diligently cultivating the Secret Vehicle (Tantrayana). Respectfully following the path of principle and interest, wholeheartedly without stinginess. Always delighting in hearing the wonderful Dharma, having entered into samaya (誓言). Having received abhiseka (灌頂) from the ācārya, and having been approved. Soon one should attain accomplishment, if the disciple possesses these qualities. Only then can it be transmitted to him, this is the Cintāmaṇi (能滿足願望的寶珠). Capable of accomplishing various undertakings, as the sutra describes the places. In the mountains and by flowing streams, in a pure araṇya (寂靜處). In valleys where one finds joy, far from all dangers and fears. Prepare offerings according to one's ability, the practitioner facing west. First, pay homage to the Lord of Freedom (another name for Avalokiteśvara), Mandhi. Then pay homage to the Buddhas of the other directions. With the five wheels (referring to the head, hands, and knees) touching the ground, pay homage as instructed. After kneeling on both knees, join palms and dwell with an empty mind. Sincerely and earnestly confess all the sins committed by the three karmas (body, speech, and mind).

行者次應隨喜一切諸佛菩薩所集福智(思一切佛菩薩過去所修行功德如我自作而生歡喜)。
過現三世佛 菩薩及眾聖 所集諸善根 合掌盡隨喜 如我身所集 歡喜無有異
次應右膝著地芙蓉合掌置於頂上。想禮一切如來菩薩足。
密言曰。
唵缽頭么(二合)微(微古反)
禮諸佛已全跏半跏。或輪王跏。隨意而坐。
作此坐印已 觀遍虛空佛 己身各於前 住彼眾聖會 止觀從膝上 旋舞當心合 如蓮之未敷 想禮于諸佛 次結三昧耶 當心堅固縛 檀慧禪智豎 金剛蓮花印 通持蓮花者 警覺眾聖已 誦此密言曰
唵跋折羅缽頭么三么耶薩怛梵(三合)
由結此印故 佛及善逝子 諸大名稱者 妙觀察攝受 憶昔本誓願 對於遍照尊 不違教令故 加持使圓滿
次結一切諸佛如來安悅意歡喜三昧耶印。
十度堅固縛 忍愿中交合 檀慧與禪智 各

【English Translation】 English version From past lives, I have been transmigrating in the cycle of birth and death. Today, facing the Great Holy One, I repent with all my heart. Just as the Buddhas of the past repented, so do I now. May I receive the blessings, so that all beings may be purified. Because of this great vow, both myself and others may obtain purity without defilement.
The secret mantra says:
Om, Sarva Bhava Shuddha, Sarva Dharma, Sarva Bhava Shuddho Ham.
The practitioner should then rejoice in the merits and wisdom accumulated by all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas (contemplate all the merits practiced by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the past, and rejoice as if they were one's own deeds).
The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and all the saints of the past, present, and future, all the roots of goodness they have accumulated, I join my palms together and rejoice in them all. Just like the merits I have accumulated myself, my joy is no different.
Next, one should kneel on the right knee, place the palms together like a lotus flower on the top of the head, and visualize bowing to the feet of all the Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas.
The secret mantra says:
Om Padma Vi.
After bowing to all the Buddhas, one can sit in full lotus position, half lotus position, or wheel-turning king position, as one pleases.
After making this sitting mudra, contemplate the Buddhas pervading the empty space, and oneself in front of them, dwelling in that assembly of saints. The Samatha-vipassanā (calm abiding and insight) starts from the knees, rotating and dancing, joining at the heart. Like a lotus that has not yet bloomed, visualize bowing to all the Buddhas. Next, form the Samaya (vow) mudra, firmly binding at the heart, raising the Dana (generosity), Prajñā (wisdom), Dhyāna (meditation), and Jñāna (knowledge) fingers, this is the Vajra (diamond) Lotus mudra. One who understands and holds the Lotus mudra, after awakening all the saints, recites this secret mantra:
Om Vajra Padma Samaya Sattvam.
Because of forming this mudra, the Buddhas and the sons of the Sugatas (well-gone ones), all the great renowned ones, with wonderful observing wisdom, will embrace and receive. Remembering the vows made in the past, facing Vairocana (the Illuminating One), not violating the teachings, they bless and make it complete.
Next, form the Samaya (vow) mudra of all the Buddhas and Tathagatas, the Anaya (peaceful) and joyful intention.
The ten perfections are firmly bound, Kṣānti (patience) and Praṇidhāna (vow) are joined in the middle, Dana (generosity), Prajñā (wisdom) and Dhyāna (meditation), Jñāna (knowledge) each...

【English Translation】 English version Joining and Erecting
The secret mantra says:
Om samaya hu surata satvam (three combined)
By showing this mudra, all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, all Vajrapanis (Vajrapani, the Dharma protector holding the vajra), are wonderfully delighted. Next, one should open the door of the heart, enter the syllable of Vajra wisdom, and contemplate on the two breasts, with 'tra' (Tara) on the right and 'ṭa' (ța) on the left. Like the door panels of a palace, a supreme Vajra bond, the three karmas (body, speech, and mind) are activated simultaneously, striking the heart to open the two syllables.
The secret mantra says:
Om vajra bandha tra ṭa
The seeds accumulated from beginningless time, the defilements gathered, now with the mudra of summoning sins, gather them to be destroyed. The firm bond of the ten perfections (ten paramitas), endurance and vows (patience and vows) extended like needles, effort and strength (diligence and power) bent like hooks, in the mind thinking of summoning all sins. Imagine the shapes of those sins, with disheveled hair and naked black forms, and imprint them on the heart, touching them and reciting the secret mantra. The three karmas corresponding, able to summon the accumulation of all sins, after reciting this summoning mantra, then perform the method of crushing.
The secret mantra says:
Om sarva papa karshana vi shuddha na samaya vajra hum ja
After summoning into the palm, then perform the method of crushing, the previous mudra crossing inward, calling and binding all sins. Endurance and vows both extended straight, with the syllables 'tra' (Tara) and 'ṭa' (ța), imagine them as vajras (Vajra), striking each other like crushing a mountain. Wrathful phrases and angry forms, able to purify all evil destinies, after reciting, strike with endurance and vows, three or seven times as appropriate.
The secret mantra says:
Om vajra pani vi sphotaya sarva paya bandhana ni pra mokshaya sarva paya gati bhyah sarva satvan sarva tathagata vajra samaya hum tra ṭa

以此相應故 先佛方便說 三業所積罪 無量極重障 作此摧滅已 如火焚枯草 有情常愚迷 不知此理趣 如來大悲故 開此秘妙門 次當結入印 內如來智字 二羽堅固縛 禪智入于中 以進力二度 相拄如環勢 觀前八葉蓮 其上置阿字 二點嚴飾故 妙字方名阿 色白如珂雪 流散千光明 想以進力支 捻字安心內 三業齊運用 誦此密言曰

既想入心中 字相逾光耀 此即法界體 行者應是觀 不久悟寂靜 法本不生故 三世諸如來 金剛身口意 皆以妙方便 持在金剛拳 以此闔心門 智字獲堅固 便屈進力度 住于禪智背 以印觸胸已 即誦此妙言

行者住等引 二羽堅固縛 仰置於臍下 禪智蓮花形 此名三昧印 誦此密言曰
唵三摩地缽頭迷(二合)紇哩(短)
出息及入息 住阿那波那 想佛遍虛空 彈指警覺我 佛子汝云何 成無上等覺 不知諸如來 實相之妙法 既聞警覺已 行者復白言 云何名真實 愿最勝尊說 諸佛皆歡喜 作如是

【English Translation】 English version Accordingly, in accordance with this, the past Buddhas spoke with expedient means. The sins accumulated by the three karmas of body, speech, and mind are immeasurable and extremely heavy obstacles. After destroying these sins in this way, it is like fire burning dry grass. Sentient beings are often foolish and deluded, not understanding this principle. The Tathagata, with great compassion, opens this secret and wonderful gate. Next, one should form the entering mudra, placing the seed-syllable of the Tathagata's wisdom within the heart. Both hands are firmly bound, with dhyana-jnana (meditation-wisdom) placed in the center. Using the paramitas of effort and strength, pressing against each other in a ring shape. Visualize an eight-petaled lotus in front, with the syllable 'Ah' (seed syllable) placed upon it. Adorned with two dots, this wonderful syllable is then called 'Ah'. Its color is as white as conch-shell snow, radiating thousands of lights. Visualize supporting it with effort and strength, holding the syllable 'Ah' and placing it within the heart. The three karmas of body, speech, and mind are used simultaneously, reciting this mantra: 『Om Vajra (two combined) Ah (elongated) Avesha (level tone) Ah (entering tone)』 Once the syllable 'Ah' is visualized entering the heart, the form of the syllable becomes even more radiant. This is the essence of the Dharmadhatu (realm of reality), and the practitioner should contemplate in this way. Soon one will awaken to stillness, because the nature of dharma is unborn. The Buddhas of the past, present, and future, their Vajra body, speech, and mind. All hold it in the Vajra fist with skillful and expedient means. Use this to close the door of the heart, and the syllable of wisdom obtains firmness. Then bend effort and strength, placing them behind dhyana-jnana. After touching the chest with the mudra, recite this wonderful mantra: 『Om Vajra Musti Vam』 The practitioner abides in samadhi (equanimity), with both hands firmly bound. Placed upwards below the navel, forming the shape of a dhyana-jnana lotus. This is called the Samadhi Mudra, reciting this mantra: 『Om Samadhi Padme Hrih (short)』 With outgoing and incoming breaths, abide in Anapana (mindfulness of breathing). Visualize the Buddha pervading space, snapping fingers to awaken me. Buddha-child, why are you unable to achieve Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi (unsurpassed perfect enlightenment)? Because you do not know the wonderful dharma of the true nature of the Tathagatas. After hearing the awakening, the practitioner again reports: What is called truth? May the most excellent Bhagavan (World Honored One) explain it for me. All the Buddhas are delighted, and say thus.
勝言 善哉摩訶薩 能作如是問 汝想於心中 所內惡字門 以字徹於心 誦此密言曰
唵止(入)多缽啰(二合)底(平)味鄧迦路弭
當默誦一遍 便想為月輪 倍欲精進故 複誦妙言曰
唵步提止(入)多母(去)怛跛(二合)陀夜弭(平)

Desiring to be even more diligent, recite this wonderful mantra again:』 『Om bodhicitta mudra padayami (Om, I offer the seal of the awakened mind).』 『It can make the moon disc of the heart complete and very pure. Out of compassion for sentient beings, perform immeasurable skillful means, transforming into various forms, from birth and Nirvana (liberation). Turn the great and wonderful Dharma wheel, all emanating from the wish-fulfilling jewel. The wonderful Dharma (teachings) that is spoken is all accomplished by the wheel. Use the wheel as wonderful wisdom, capable of severing all afflictions. By turning the wonderful Dharma wheel, this is the path of merit and wisdom. One should recite this mantra to summon the deity into the wisdom body.

【English Translation】 English version And to all the sons of the Sugatas (Buddha's spiritual heirs), may the thought fill the realm of space. With flower clouds, wondrous fragrances, and jeweled trees of utmost splendor. Reciting this secret mantra, the three karmas of body, speech, and mind are simultaneously employed.
Oṃ Padma Jñāna Dāpuspe Hūṃ
Sentient beings are covered by ignorance, separated from the light of wisdom. For the sake of purifying them, one should form the wisdom lamp mudra. With the previous lotus palms, the index and middle fingers are erected close to each other. In the mind, visualize the Mani jewel lamp, illuminating the entire realm of space. From it emanates immeasurable light, reciting this secret mantra:
Oṃ Padma Jñāna Dānādhi Hūṃ
The wise should next form the liberation anointing fragrance mudra. For the sake of purifying sentient beings, offer this Śīla (moral discipline) fragrance. With both hands spread into lotus palms, make the gesture of applying fragrance at the heart. Accomplishing the ten perfections through habitual practice, the ocean of fragrance pervades space. Offer to the Buddha and the revered ones, reciting this secret mantra:
Oṃ Padma Jñāna Gandhe Hūṃ
Having completed the inner and outer offerings, then one should recite accordingly. Form the secret root mudra, corresponding to the king of secret mantras. First recite the root mantra, clearly and distinctly seven times. Place the palms flat at the heart, the ring and little fingers like lotuses. The middle and index fingers are in the shape of a Mani jewel, the remaining fingers all like banners. Recite the root secret mantra, contemplating the fulfillment of the wishes of sentient beings.
The mantra says:
Nama Ratna Trayāya Namo Ārya Avalokiteśvarāya Bodhisattvāya Mahāsattvāya Mahākāruṇikāya Tadyathā Oṃ Cakra Varti Cintāmaṇi Mahāpadme Ruru Tiṣṭha Jvala Ākarṣāya Hūṃ Phaṭ Svāhā

The secret mantra (mantra) says:
'Om padme chintamani jvala Hum'
Next, form the Follow-Heart Mudra (mudra): Firmly bind the two hands together, bend the index and middle fingers into the shape of a mani jewel, extend the meditation and wisdom fingers side by side, also stretch out the precept and direction fingers straight, and cross the charity and wisdom fingers upright. The secret mantra (mantra) says:
'Om marana padme Hum'
Next, visualize from the mouth of the honored one, flowing out secret mantras (mantra), clearly forming words and sentences, with five-colored light shining, various excellent colors intermingling, entering the mouth of the practitioner (Yogi), arranged in the moon disc in the heart, as clear as red sphatika (crystal). Contemplate each one carefully, following the principle, along with enlightenment, abide in samadhi and practice, enter the 'A' syllable door (A, seed syllable), that is, enter the wheel syllable contemplation, universally contemplate all syllables. This is called Samadhi-Recitation, obtaining wisdom and liberation. Because of this correspondence, one will soon accomplish all-knowing wisdom (sarvajna-jnana, Buddha's wisdom). If one constantly recites smoothly with sound, this is the most excellent, subtle, and wonderful. Abide in the visualization of the honored deity, do not have an impatient mind, neither too high nor too low, neither too slow nor too fast. The wise should be free from discriminating thoughts, and all delusive thoughts. If one recites a laksha (100,000) times, all wishes will be fulfilled. Hold prayer beads in both hands, which can be sphatika (crystal) or lotus seeds, conch beads, and other treasures, choosing those without flaws and with good luster. They should be strung into one hundred and eight beads, reciting the Heart mantra and Heart-Center mantra, or Vikata-tara, seven times for each bead. After blessing with this method and stringing the beads into a mala, pass through each bead in the heart, along with the sound of 'Svaha'. One thousand times or one hundred and eight times, recite according to your ability. At four times or three times, this method is most excellent in the later part of the night. In the Cintamanicakra Sutra, this is what the original Buddha taught. If one practices in this way, one will attain the first ground (prathama-bhumi, Joyful Ground) in this life, and after sixteen more lives, one will attain unsurpassed Bodhi (anuttara-bodhi, supreme enlightenment). How much more so worldly accomplishments, and things not going as desired in this life. After reciting according to your ability, re-form the Samaya Mudra (samaya-mudra), and then perform the eight offerings.

The secret mantra says:
Om Padma Sattva Hrih
After dismissing the holy one, abide in the visualization of your own deity. Or, in a quiet and secluded place, recite the Mahayana sutras, Such as the Lankavatara Sutra, Avatamsaka Sutra, Prajna Sutra, and Adhyardhasatika Prajnaparamita Sutra. Contemplate and practice these teachings. After reciting the scriptures, freely walk, stand, sit, or lie down, Even during sleep and rest, do not interrupt the Bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment). Soon you will attain Siddhi (accomplishment), as Vajragarbha (Diamond Womb) said. This Great Compassion ritual does not choose days or constellations, Nor does it adhere to timely eating and bathing, whether clean or unclean, One should always practice without interruption, staying away from distractions. In a secluded and quiet place, do not engage in worldly affairs, After finishing the recitation, make vows and form the Samaya mudra (vow seal). After bowing to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, walk around at will.
