【English Translation】 English version The Sutra of Samantabhadra's(普賢) Mantra Recitation, the Supreme First Yoga of the Vajra Peak
Translated by the Tripitaka(三藏) Master Amoghavajra(不空), Great Guangzhi(大廣智) of Daxingshan Temple(大興善寺), holding the title of Kaifu Yitong Sansi Tejin Shihongluqing Su Gong, with an estate of three thousand households, bestowed with purple robes, posthumously granted the title of Sikong and posthumous name Dajian, under imperial decree.
Homage to Samantabhadra(普賢), the embodiment of Suchness in the Dharma Realm. I now rely on the great teaching, the supreme first of the Vajra Peak. Briefly describing the practice, the supreme first Vajra Realm, May the assembly of sages in the ocean-like gathering, with compassion, witness and protect, Benefit the practitioners, therefore it is compiled. If one seeks liberation, from the Acharya(阿阇梨) Seek to receive empowerment. If permission is granted, Then follow the original teachings to practice, selecting an excellent place. Establish the mandala. Then, one should visualize oneself As identical to the body of Samantabhadra(普賢), with a color as white as conch and snow. Sit upright in Samadhi. Visualize a five-pronged Pure and wonderful Vajra(金剛) scepter on the tongue. Secretly recite this mantra, The same purity as the Dharma Realm. Then recite the mantra:
Om Svabhava Shuddho Ham
By reciting this mantra, the body and vessel become pure. Then visualize Buddhas in the sky, as numerous as sesame seeds. Then recite the all-illuminating, clearly seeing all Buddhas. The mantra for visualizing Buddhas:
Kham Vajradhatu
One should fulfill the practice of Samantabhadra(普賢), seeking to achieve perfect enlightenment. With body and mind unmoving, pay homage to all Buddhas in Samadhi. Then recite the mantra:
Om Sarva Tathagata Pada Vandanam Karomi
The great mudra(印) of the principal deity is formed. Next, form the Vajra(金剛) palm, Erect and join the initial segments. The secret words are thus spoken:

Vajra-bandha (Vajra-bandha, Diamond Binding)
To open the heart of bondage and destruction, one should recite the secret mantra:
Vajra-bandha trat (Vajra-bandha trat)
Next is the previous Vajra Binding mudra, with the Wisdom, Meditation, Giving, and Discipline fingers opened. Recite the All-Pervading mantra, praying for descent and protection:
Vajra-vesa ah (Vajra-vesa ah)
The mudra remains unchanged, still the previous Vajra Binding, with the Wisdom and Meditation fingers plus the Effort and Strength fingers. This is called the Samadhi Fist, and the mantra is recited as follows:
Vajra-musti om (Vajra-musti om)
Separate the fist into two, with the left hand representing pride and the right hand representing peace of mind. Body, speech, and mind all become Vajra. The form follows the initial visualization, using the previous Vajra Binding as the standard, with the Wisdom and Effort fingers, and the Meditation finger pressing in between. This is the secret Samadhi Seal, imprinted on the heart, forehead, throat, and crown, all while reciting this mantra:
Surata-satvam (Surata-satvam)
Again form the Vajra Binding mudra, with the Patience and Aspiration fingers forming a knife shape, and the Effort and Strength fingers pinching the sides of the knife. According to the initial first section, the Meditation finger presses on the tip of the Wisdom finger, like the lotus position. Imprint on the crown and heart, and one should visualize Vairocana (Vairocana), dignified, bright white, and radiant. Recite this mantra:
Om bhuh kham (Om bhuh kham)
Next, one should imprint on the forehead, and should visualize Akshobhya (Akshobhya), whose color is blue, located in front. Recite this secret bright phrase:
Vajra-sattva (Vajra-sattva)

【English Translation】 English version Mala Mudra: Adorning oneself with the Abhisheka (灌頂, consecration), using two Vajra fists (金剛拳, diamond fists), encircling the forehead. Then separate the fists behind the head, tying the garland as before. Slowly open from the Dana-Prajna (檀慧, generosity-wisdom) hands, like feathers downwards on both sides. Imagine hanging silk ribbons, reciting the following mantra: Om (唵, seed syllable) Vajra (嚩日啰, diamond) Mala (么攞, garland) Bhisinca (避詵左, anointing) Mam (滿, seed syllable) Hum (𤚥, seed syllable). Extend both the Samadhi and Prajna feathers (定慧羽, meditation and wisdom hands), clap together, and the mudra is accomplished. Able to please all the holy beings, the mantra is recited as follows: Vajra (嚩日啰, diamond) Tusya (睹使也, pleased) Hum (斛, seed syllable). Offering with the forehead near, bathing all the holy ones as prescribed. Following the previous visualization, a bright white full moon appears in the mandala. The Great Holy One (Mahāsattva) dwells in the center, holding the Vajra-māna (diamond pride) mudra. Again, arrange the positions of the four deities, with the Eye-arrow (Eye-arrow) deity in front. The Eye-arrow deity is red in color, with clothing of the same color, adorned with a crown and garlands. Both hands bend a bow and arrow, gazing upon the form of Sattva (being). The Kilikila deity is white in color, residing on the right side of the Great Holy One. Both hands form the Vajra fist, embracing the Samaya (vow) mudra. Behind the Great Holy One, the deity named Love (Love), with form and clothing all in blue. Both hands form fists, raising the wisdom arm, with the meditation fist supporting the elbow. Together holding the Makara-dhvaja (sea monster banner), on the left is the deity named Pride (Pride). The Pride deity is yellow in color, with fists at the hips, head slightly lowered to the left. 【English Translation】 English version III)
Fix the arms like playing a Konghou (Chinese harp), slightly bending to improve force. Use the feather of wisdom to pluck the strings, singing its brightness.
Śrīvajra-nṛtya (Auspicious Vajra Dance) : Śrīvajra-nṛtya-geete dhi dhi.
Dance with two fists in front of the heart, joining them above the head and then scattering. This dance is called the sign of union, and then the mantra phrases are stated.
Śrīvajra-nṛtya (Auspicious Vajra Dance) : Śrīvajra-nṛtya-vepa vepa.
The four attendants are located at the four gates, and their forms and appearances should be displayed. First is the one holding the hook, dressed in blue, adorned beautifully in between. To the south is the one holding the rope, all in yellow; to the west is the one holding the chain, still in red. To the north is the one named holding the bell, with a green crown of garlands. The secret mudras and mantras should be set up next. Hold the fists with the backs facing each other, the ring and wisdom fingers hooked in opposite directions. The advancing and forceful fingers are all stretched out to the extreme, and the advancing fingers are slightly bent. Slightly beckoning is the hook mudra, and its bright mantra is recited as follows:
Vajra-kuśa (Vajra Hook) : vajra-kuśe jaḥ.
The previous mudra is with the advancing and forceful fingers crossed, and the heads hooked onto each other in reverse. The middle is like a ring rope, reciting the following mantra:
Vajra-pāśa (Vajra Rope) : vajra-pāśe hūṃ.
The advancing and forceful fingers are hooked together, open the fists, and cross the backs of the hands in front of the arms. This is called the accomplishment of the chain mudra, and the secret mantra should be recited like this:
Vajra-śṛṅkhalā (Vajra Chain) : vajra-śṛṅkhale vaṃ.
Like chains connected back to back, shake, the bright mantra of the bell says:
Vajra-ghaṇṭā (Vajra Bell) : vajra-ghaṇṭe hoḥ.
The magnificent lotus seat and clothes adorned by the Great Sage. And the other deities seen in front, their colors are determined by their own forms. The excellent forms possess various virtues, and they wear the Five Buddha Crown on their heads. When about to build the Mandala, first visualize these positions. The moon disc appears with complete brightness, and visualize the principal deity within it. Sitting in the half-lotus position, facing the principal deity, gazing with joyful eyes. Also proclaim the Samaya mudra, displayed in front of the principal deity. These mudras and mantras should be performed according to the ritual, without error.

【English Translation】 English version Miu (Error/Deviation) The remaining deities should be arranged in order, starting with the eye-arrow. According to the body they protect, the great bliss follows the mind-seal. Extremely bend its advancing force, initially separated back to back. Dhyana (Zen/Meditation) and Jnana (Wisdom) press them together, the Mudra (seal/gesture) is accordingly accomplished. With Dhyana (Zen/Meditation) pressing on Jnana (Wisdom), the deep union Mudra (seal/gesture) is then formed. Named Kilikila, next state the form of Makara (sea-monster). Advance and hook the Paramita (perfection of giving), the force holds its end of patience. The Sila (precept) side unfolds into a needle shape, Dana (generosity) and Wisdom combine into a straight line. Dhyana (Zen/Meditation) and Jnana (Wisdom) naturally juxtapose each other, each pressing beside the advancing force. The form of the love-seal has been accomplished, do not change and continue with the previous Mudra (seal/gesture). Touch its thighs from the outside, first right then left as well. The inner offering is also clear, sideways twist the Vajra (diamond/thunderbolt) palm. Throwing upwards is the flower Mudra (seal/gesture), scattering downwards becomes burning incense. Dhyana (Zen/Meditation) and Jnana (Wisdom) approach to become a lamp, the scented ointment opens according to the chest. Playfully rotate and salute, the smile-seal is near the mouth. Slowly open from Dana (generosity) and Wisdom, and then form the song Mudra (seal/gesture). Change the force slightly bend, the emptiness of advance is removed in the middle. The fixed feather Khataka, Wisdom makes the form of three banners. Dancing in the heart, the eight offerings are complete. Next form the Vajrabandha (diamond bond), the advancing force slightly bends. Slowly beckon is the hook-seal, it should arise from the binding rope. Between Dhyana (Zen/Meditation)-Paramita (perfection) and Jnana (Wisdom)-force, the Mudra (seal/gesture) is accomplished and becomes a lock. Surround the advancing Dhyana (Zen/Meditation)-Jnana (Wisdom)-force, twist and then hook each other. Also make a firm bond, Dhyana (Zen/Meditation)-Jnana (Wisdom)-Sila (precept) side downwards. Shake in front of the chest, becoming a chime, the four Sangrahas (ways of gathering disciples) are accomplished. The Samaya (vow) mantra, is the same as the previous Karma (action) phrase. The position of Vajrasattva (diamond being), and the place where the practitioner resides. All have sixteen deities, surrounding and dwelling dignified. Also recite the next stated, the most supreme and true praise. Being able to skillfully recite, quickly make Siddhi (accomplishment) complete. Mahā (Great) Sukha (Bliss), Mahā (Great) Rāga (Love), Mahā (Great) Vajra (Diamond/Thunderbolt), Mahā (Great) Dhana (Generosity), Mahā (Great) Jñāna (Wisdom), Mahā (Great) Karma (Action).

After finishing the recitation and praise, visualize the principal deity. Keep the body and mind undisturbed, hold the rosary, place it in front of the heart to empower it, and recite the mantra:
Om Vajra (two combined) Guhya (two combined) Japa Samaye Hum
Then recite the mantra of the principal deity, maintaining equanimity while holding the beads. Do not move the tongue excessively, and keep the lips and teeth closed. Recite silently in Vajra speech, clearly visualizing the deity's excellent features. Do not interrupt for four periods, with a limit of hundreds of thousands of repetitions, or even more than that. Recite the mantra as follows:
Om Vajra (two combined) Sattva (two combined) Ah
After completing the prescribed number of recitations, hold the beads and make a great vow. Then form the root mudra and recite the root mantra seven times. Next, perform the eight offerings and recite praises with beautiful sounds. Offer arghya water, and release the boundaries and various hand seals. Then form the samadhi fist, recite once, and quickly open it. Next, form the karma mudra, recite three times, and open the hands three times. Next, one should form the jewel mudra, with both hands in the Vajra-bound mudra, the index and middle fingers in the shape of a jewel, and the wisdom and meditation fingers likewise. The mudra arises from the heart and is placed at the crown of the head. Separating the hands is like untying a garland, and it also becomes the armor mudra. Recite the mantra as follows:

Having blessed the armor, bring the palms together and clap three times, causing the holy assembly to rejoice. With this mantra seal, release the bonds and attain joy, then recite the mantra:
Om vajra (vajra, diamond/thunderbolt) tustya hum
After sending off the holy assembly and completing the self-blessing, one then exits the mandala, freely walking about. Recite and read the Mahayana scriptures, regulate one's own body and mind, and constantly contemplate the principal deity in the mind. The benevolent one should follow and uphold this.
