爾時普賢菩薩摩訶薩。欲現廣大變化而入三摩地。名三界大自在。入此三摩地已。從清凈虛空界。現無數身猶如塵沙。普遍大千一切世界。
爾時一切佛剎所有一切如來。舒其右手摩普賢菩薩摩訶薩頂。贊言善哉善哉佛子。汝今當說一切佛母最上陀羅尼法。爾時普賢菩薩。身放千光普照十方。一切佛剎悉皆震動。即說陀羅尼。

爾時,普賢菩薩摩訶薩(普遍的賢善菩薩),想要顯現廣大的變化而進入三摩地(禪定)。這個三摩地名為『三界大自在』。進入此三摩地后,從清凈的虛空界,顯現出無數的身形,猶如塵沙一般,遍佈大千世界(廣闊的世界)。
那時,所有佛剎(佛的國土)中的一切如來(佛),伸出他們的右手,摩普賢菩薩摩訶薩的頭頂,讚歎說:『善哉!善哉!佛子,你現在應當宣說一切佛母最上的陀羅尼(總持)法。』那時,普賢菩薩,身上放出千道光明,普照十方,一切佛剎都震動起來。隨即宣說了陀羅尼:

The Dharani Sutra Spoken by Buddha on Samantabhadra Bodhisattva
Translated by Dharma Master Fa Tian, Minister of the Honglu Temple and Great Master of Spreading Teachings, under Imperial Decree, from the Tripitaka of Western India
I take refuge in the universal realm of emptiness, the pure and equal cause of the three times. The nature is equal to the light of Dharma, the path of perfect enlightenment, transforming into bodies of joy and benefit for humans and devas. Manifesting in the position of the ten grounds of self-mastery, practicing great vows to liberate sentient beings. Adorned with the marks of merit and virtue, named Samantabhadra (Universal Virtue), now I speak the secret teachings of true words.
At that time, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Mahasattva (the universally virtuous great being) desired to manifest vast transformations and enter into samadhi (meditative absorption). This samadhi was named 'Great Self-Mastery in the Three Realms'. Having entered this samadhi, from the pure realm of emptiness, he manifested countless bodies like dust particles, pervading the entire Great Thousand World System (vast world).
At that time, all the Tathagatas (Buddhas) in all Buddha-lands (Buddha's realms) extended their right hands and stroked the crown of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Mahasattva, praising him, saying: 'Excellent! Excellent! Son of Buddha, you should now speak the supreme dharani (mantra) of all the Buddhas.' At that time, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva emitted a thousand rays of light from his body, illuminating the ten directions, and all the Buddha-lands shook. Then he spoke the dharani:

爾時普賢菩薩摩訶薩。說此陀羅尼已。佛即觀彼菩薩之身。是過去先佛。為悲慜一切眾生現變化身。滿於三界諸世間中。爾時諸大菩薩。及天人阿修羅等。從一切金剛峰起。離自金寶莊嚴大富貴座。來菩薩前而自唱言。南無大慈大悲無邊大功德海最上成佛大陀羅尼法。善能饒益過去未來現在三界無數眾生。令得安住大法之位。佛言若人聞此大陀羅尼法。經無邊劫所作之罪皆悉除滅。亦能枯竭煩惱大海。摧壞我見高山。譬如有人見百千佛。經無邊劫所作善根。亦不能及此真言功德。此大陀羅尼是一切如來心圓滿大功德海。而能出生菩提智種。成就一切智地。而諸佛法皆不能及。此大陀羅尼名號。假使百千那由他俱胝劫亦難得聞。若有人於此經典。受持讀誦恭敬供養。彼等眾生善解總持。能活慧命住如來位。成就一切功德。若有人讀誦此經。一遍二遍乃至三遍。彼人得最上功德。能滅一切罪能斷一切煩惱。復得值遇諸佛如來。不受一切

爾時,普賢菩薩摩訶薩(Samantabhadra Bodhisattva-Mahasattva)。說完此陀羅尼(Dharani)后,佛(Buddha)即觀察那位菩薩(Bodhisattva)之身,乃是過去先佛(Buddha),爲了悲憫一切眾生而顯現的變化身,充滿於三界諸世間中。當時,諸大菩薩(Bodhisattva),以及天人阿修羅(Asura)等,從一切金剛峰(Vajra Peak)升起,離開自身金寶莊嚴的大富貴座,來到菩薩(Bodhisattva)前而自唱言:『南無大慈大悲無邊大功德海最上成佛大陀羅尼法(Namo great compassion, boundless merit ocean, supreme Buddhahood Dharani Dharma),善能饒益過去、未來、現在三界無數眾生,令得安住大法之位。』
佛(Buddha)言:『若有人聞此大陀羅尼法(Dharani Dharma),經無邊劫所作之罪皆悉除滅,亦能枯竭煩惱大海,摧壞我見高山。譬如有人見百千佛(Buddha),經無邊劫所作善根,亦不能及此真言功德。此大陀羅尼(Dharani)是一切如來(Tathagata)心圓滿大功德海,而能出生菩提智種,成就一切智地,而諸佛法皆不能及此大陀羅尼(Dharani)名號,假使百千那由他俱胝劫亦難得聞。若有人於此經典,受持讀誦恭敬供養,彼等眾生善解總持,能活慧命住如來(Tathagata)位,成就一切功德。若有人讀誦此經,一遍二遍乃至三遍,彼人得最上功德,能滅一切罪,能斷一切煩惱,復得值遇諸佛如來(Buddha Tathagata),不受一切。』
【English Translation】 English version: Om Lu Om Kaakahihi Ra Buddha Ra Buddha Vijaya Vijaya Am Prah Shaktya Nayana Hanchira Adhishthana Sambhoga Am Sanaya Raya Dharma Agara Dhara Dhara Jaya Jaya Hum Hum Dharma Dharma Svaha.
At that time, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Samantabhadra, having spoken this Dharani, the Buddha observed that Bodhisattva's body, which was a transformation body manifested by past Buddhas out of compassion for all sentient beings, filling the three realms and all worlds. At that time, all the great Bodhisattvas, as well as Devas, humans, Asuras, and others, arose from all the Vajra Peaks, leaving their great and wealthy seats adorned with gold and jewels, and came before the Bodhisattva, proclaiming: 'Namo great compassion, boundless merit ocean, supreme Buddhahood Dharani Dharma, which is able to benefit countless sentient beings in the past, future, and present three realms, enabling them to dwell in the position of the Great Dharma.'
The Buddha said: 'If anyone hears this great Dharani Dharma, all the sins committed over countless kalpas will be eradicated, and it can also dry up the ocean of afflictions and destroy the high mountain of self-view. It is like someone who sees hundreds of thousands of Buddhas and accumulates good roots over countless kalpas, yet it cannot compare to the merit of this mantra. This great Dharani is the heart of all Tathagatas, the ocean of perfect great merit, which can give birth to the seed of Bodhi wisdom and accomplish the ground of all-knowingness, and all the Buddha Dharmas cannot compare to the name of this great Dharani. Even if one searches for hundreds of thousands of nayutas of kotis of kalpas, it is difficult to hear it. If anyone upholds, recites, reveres, and makes offerings to this scripture, those sentient beings will be skilled in understanding the Dharani, able to sustain their wisdom life, dwell in the position of the Tathagata, and accomplish all merits. If anyone recites this scripture once, twice, or even three times, that person will obtain the supreme merit, able to eradicate all sins, able to cut off all afflictions, and will again encounter all the Buddhas Tathagatas, and will not be subject to anything.'
憂愁苦惱。若於寂靜之處獨樹之下。一心持誦。彼人獲得一切成就之法眾所愛敬。若有人于大林野結跏趺坐。誦此經典滿於七邊。彼人不久得大禪定。斷一切煩惱。復得普賢菩薩結跏趺坐而現於前。若人隨自力分以香華供養誦此陀羅尼。乃至困臥睡眠。于其夢中見普賢菩薩。舒其右手放法光明。灌照身心作如是言。善哉善哉佛子。如來大曼拏羅轉身。而得大菩薩位。身心安樂。具大福德智慧。常得見於普賢菩薩摩訶薩。若人以慈悲心。為一切眾生讀誦此經。彼人得十波羅蜜圓滿。滅除一切煩惱罪垢。復得天人衛護如來贊言。佛子汝若依行。不久當入普賢之地。

【現代漢語翻譯】 現代漢語譯本:憂愁苦惱之人,若在寂靜之處,獨自於樹下,一心持誦此陀羅尼,此人能獲得一切成就之法,並受眾人愛戴敬重。若有人在大森林中結跏趺坐,誦讀此經典滿七遍,此人不久便能獲得大禪定,斷除一切煩惱。並且能得普賢菩薩(Samantabhadra Bodhisattva,象徵菩薩行愿的菩薩)結跏趺坐之身顯現於其面前。若有人根據自己的能力,以香和花供養並誦讀此陀羅尼,乃至在睏倦入睡時,也能在夢中見到普賢菩薩,伸出右手,放出法光明,灌注照耀其身心,並說:『善哉善哉,佛子!你已轉生於如來大曼拏羅(Tathagata Mahamandala,如來的壇場),並獲得大菩薩的地位,身心安樂,具備大福德和智慧,常能見到普賢菩薩摩訶薩(Samantabhadra Bodhisattva-Mahasattva,偉大的普賢菩薩)。』若有人以慈悲之心,為一切眾生讀誦此經,此人能得十波羅蜜(Ten Paramitas,十種到達彼岸的方法)圓滿,滅除一切煩惱罪業,並且能得到天人的衛護,如來也會讚歎說:『佛子,你若依此修行,不久將會進入普賢菩薩的境界。』
《佛說普賢菩薩陀羅尼經》
【English Translation】 English version: Those who are sorrowful and distressed, if in a quiet place, alone under a tree, single-mindedly recite this Dharani, will obtain all the methods of accomplishment and be loved and respected by all. If someone sits in the lotus position in a great forest and recites this scripture seven times, they will soon attain great Samadhi (deep meditative state) and cut off all afflictions. Moreover, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (the Bodhisattva who symbolizes the vows and practices of all Bodhisattvas) will appear before them in the lotus position. If someone, according to their ability, makes offerings of incense and flowers and recites this Dharani, even when weary and asleep, they will see Samantabhadra Bodhisattva in their dreams, extending their right hand, emitting the light of Dharma, pouring it upon and illuminating their body and mind, and saying: 'Excellent, excellent, Buddha-child! You have been reborn in the Tathagata Mahamandala (the mandala of the Tathagata) and have attained the position of a great Bodhisattva, with peace and joy in body and mind, possessing great merit, virtue, and wisdom, and will always be able to see Samantabhadra Bodhisattva-Mahasattva (the great Samantabhadra Bodhisattva).' If someone, with a compassionate heart, recites this scripture for all sentient beings, they will attain the perfection of the Ten Paramitas (the ten perfections or virtues), eliminate all afflictions and sinful defilements, and receive the protection of Devas (gods or celestial beings). The Tathagata (Buddha) will praise them, saying: 'Buddha-child, if you practice accordingly, you will soon enter the realm of Samantabhadra.'
