特進試鴻臚卿大辨正大廣智三藏奉 詔譯
爾時毗盧遮那如來。於色界頂第四禪成等正覺。即下須彌山頂。于金剛寶樓閣。盡虛空遍法界一切如來皆悉雲集。前後圍繞異口同音。唯愿世尊轉妙法輪甚深秘密。所謂金剛界輪。降三世教令輪。遍調伏法輪。一切義成就輪。如是四輪從毗盧遮那心出。一一輪皆有三十七聖者。一一真言一一三摩地。一一契印威儀軌持。大悲願力。于雜染佛剎。于凈妙世界。或隱或顯。轉輪利樂度諸眾生各各不同。毗盧遮那佛。受諸如來請已。欲轉法輪。時即入三摩地。觀見摩醯首羅大自在天。剛強難化執持邪見。非我寂靜大悲之身堪任調伏。於是世尊入悲怒三摩地。從胸臆間出現五峰金剛大菩提心。流出四面八臂威德熾盛奇特難睹降三世金剛菩薩身。遍禮毗盧遮那如來及一切諸佛。唯愿世尊示教於我。何所作為。佛告降三世菩薩。汝今降伏彼難調伏諸大天等。令悉歸依諸佛法僧發菩提心。尋即降伏一切諸天。盡皆歸依佛法僧眾。唯大自在天。特大威德而生拒敵。降三世菩薩種種苦治乃至於死(左踏大天

【English Translation】 English version T20 No. 1134B The Vajra Longevity Dharani Sutra No. 1134B [cf. Nos. 1133, 1134A] The Vajra Longevity Dharani Sutra Translated under Imperial Order by Da Bian Zheng Da Guang Zhi San Zang, holding the title of Special Advance Examination Honglu Official At that time, Vairocana Tathagata (Vairocana Buddha), having attained Anuttara-Samyak-Sambodhi (Unsurpassed Complete Enlightenment) in the Fourth Dhyana (meditative state) of the Form Realm's summit, descended from the summit of Mount Sumeru (Mount Meru) to the Vajra Jewel Pavilion. All the Tathagatas (Buddhas) throughout the empty space and the Dharma Realm gathered there. They surrounded him, and with one voice, they entreated: 'May the World-Honored One turn the wonderful Dharma wheel and reveal the profound secrets.' This Dharma wheel is the so-called Vajra Realm Wheel, the Trailokyavijaya Command Wheel, the Sarvasamvara Subduing Wheel, and the Sarvarthasiddhi Accomplishing Wheel. These four wheels emanated from the heart of Vairocana Buddha. Each wheel has thirty-seven holy beings, each with its unique mantra, samadhi, and mudra, as well as dignified conduct and great compassionate vows. In the impure Buddha-fields and the pure and wonderful worlds, they turn the Dharma wheel, sometimes visibly and sometimes invisibly, benefiting and liberating various beings differently. After Vairocana Buddha received the requests from all the Tathagatas, he wished to turn the Dharma wheel and immediately entered samadhi. He observed Maheśvara (Great自在天), who was stubborn and difficult to transform, holding wrong views, and not able to be subdued by my peaceful and compassionate body. Therefore, the World-Honored One entered the Tristaya Krodha Samadhi (wrathful samadhi), and from his chest emerged the Five-Peaked Vajra Great Bodhi Mind, emanating the body of Trailokyavijaya Vajra Bodhisattva (降三世金剛菩薩) with four faces and eight arms, majestic and blazing with power, unique and difficult to behold. Trailokyavijaya Vajra Bodhisattva prostrated before Vairocana Tathagata and all the Buddhas, and entreated: 'May the World-Honored One instruct me on what I should do.' The Buddha told Trailokyavijaya Bodhisattva: 'You should now subdue those difficult-to-transform great devas (gods) and others, causing them to take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and to generate the Bodhi Mind.' Trailokyavijaya Bodhisattva then subdued all the devas, causing them to take refuge in the Triple Gem (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). Only Maheśvara, relying on his great power and virtue, resisted. Trailokyavijaya Bodhisattva used various ascetic practices to subdue him, even to the point of threatening him with death (stepping on the Great Deva's left side).

次當誦護身被甲真言曰。

【English Translation】 English version: Then, Vairocana Tathagata (the Thus-Come One who Illuminates Everything), having entered the Mahakaruna-garbha-samadhi (Samadhi of Great Compassion), then spoke the Vajra-ayu-dharani (Diamond Life Dharani). Again, he entered the Vajra-ayu-samaya (Diamond Life Vow), and formed a secret mudra to bless Mahesvara (Great Lord of the Universe), restoring his health and increasing his lifespan, causing him to take refuge in all Buddhas and generate Bodhi-citta (the Mind of Enlightenment), receive empowerment and prediction, and attain the eighth Bodhisattva ground.
