爾時佛告慈氏菩薩言。汝當諦聽有陀羅尼具大威神最上功德。能令眾生解脫惡趣。轉身當得受勝妙樂。時慈氏菩薩白言世尊愿為宣說。爾時世尊即說陀羅尼曰。

那謨(引)婆誐嚩帝(引一)舍(引)吉也(二合)母那曳(引二)怛他(引)誐多(引)野(三)阿啰曷(二合)帝(引)三藐訖三(二合)沒馱(引)野(四)怛[寧*也]他(引五)阿𡁠帝(引六)阿𡁠當惹曳(引七)婆啰婆啰(八)味怛啰(二合)嚩路吉帝(引九)哥啰哥啰(十)摩賀三摩野悉帝(引十一)婆啰婆啰(十二)冒地曼拏微𡁠(引十三)三摩(二合)啰三摩(二合)啰(十四)阿娑摩(二合引)剛三摩煬(十五)冒地冒地(十六)摩賀(引)冒地娑嚩(二合引)賀(引十七)

爾時慈氏菩薩。聞佛世尊說陀羅尼已。白言世尊。是陀羅尼有大利益。能令眾生解脫惡趣。時慈氏菩薩復發愿言。若有眾生於未來世末法之時。能讀誦受持者。設以宿業墮阿鼻獄者。我成佛時當以佛力救拔出之。復與授于阿耨多羅三藐三菩提記

爾時，慈氏菩薩聽聞佛世尊說了這個陀羅尼后，稟告佛說：『世尊，這個陀羅尼有很大的利益，能夠讓眾生解脫惡趣。』當時，慈氏菩薩又發願說：『如果有眾生在未來世末法時代，能夠讀誦受持這個陀羅尼，即使因為宿業而墮入阿鼻地獄（Avici Hell，無間地獄），我成佛的時候，將用佛力救拔他們出來，並且授予他們阿耨多羅三藐三菩提（Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi，無上正等正覺）的授記。』

【English Translation】 English version The Buddha Speaks the Maitreya Bodhisattva's Vow Dharani Sutra

Translated by Dharma Master Fa Xian, Minister of the Court of Imperial Sacrifices and Great Master of Illuminating Doctrine, commissioned by the Emperor, from the Tripitaka of the Western Regions

At that time, the Buddha told Maitreya Bodhisattva: 'You should listen carefully. There is a dharani that possesses great spiritual power and supreme merit. It can liberate sentient beings from evil realms, and in the next life, they will receive supreme and wonderful joy.' At that time, Maitreya Bodhisattva said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, may you please explain it for us.' Then, the World Honored One spoke the dharani, saying:

Namo Bhagavate Shakyamunaye Tathagataya Arhate Samyak-sambuddhaya Tadyatha Adite Adijaye Bhara Bhara Vitara Valokite Kara Kara Maha-samaya Siddhe Bhara Bhara Bodhimanda Vigate Smara Smara Asama-gam Samayam Bodhi Bodhi Maha-bodhi Svaha

At that time, Maitreya Bodhisattva, having heard the World Honored Buddha speak this dharani, said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, this dharani has great benefits. It can liberate sentient beings from evil realms.' At that time, Maitreya Bodhisattva further made a vow, saying: 'If there are sentient beings in the future, during the time of the end of the Dharma, who can read, recite, and uphold this dharani, even if they fall into Avici Hell due to past karma, when I become a Buddha, I will use the power of the Buddha to rescue them and bestow upon them the prediction of Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi.'

。時慈氏菩薩說是語已。禮佛雙足歡喜而退。
