開府儀同三司特進試鴻臚卿肅國公食邑三千戶賜紫贈司空謚大鑒正號大廣智大興善寺三藏沙門不空奉 詔譯

我今依瑜伽金剛頂經。說寶部虛空藏菩薩真言教法。為愍念在家山家。薄福少德乏少資具者。所求世間出世間勝愿多不遂意。若依此教法修行。業報等障皆悉消除。福德增長心神適悅。凈信大乘利樂有情。心無退轉。世出世間所有財寶悉皆獲得。於一切眾生能作利益。一稱一念所得福聚尚猶虛空。何況作意如法修行。所愿必獲殊勝成就。行者先應入灌頂道場。親對師前受得儀軌。或於山間靜處。或於寺舍隨所樂處。建立精室作一方壇。隨其大小。以瞿摩夷塗地。作八曼茶羅。周匝懸幡。上安天蓋。于壇西面安虛空藏菩薩像。持誦者壇東對像唸誦。以種種時華散於壇上。燒香燈明飲食果子。隨力所辦以為供養。每入道場。對尊像前五體投地。禮一切如來及諸聖眾。即懺悔隨喜勸請發願已。然後結跏趺坐。或半跏隨意而坐端身正念。當以涂香用涂二手。虛心合掌如未敷蓮華。誦清凈真言三遍或七遍頂上散印。則三業清凈以成勝義澡浴。凈三業真言曰。

我現在依據《瑜伽金剛頂經》,宣說寶部虛空藏菩薩(Akasagarbha Bodhisattva)的真言教法。爲了憐憫在家修行和出家修行的人,他們福薄德少,缺乏資財,所求的世間和出世間的殊勝願望大多不能如意。如果依照此教法修行,業報等障礙都能夠消除,福德增長,心神愉悅,清凈地信奉大乘佛法,利益眾生,心不退轉。世間和出世間的所有財寶都能夠獲得,對於一切眾生能夠做出利益。一聲稱念所得的福聚尚且猶如虛空般廣大,何況用心如法修行,所愿必定獲得殊勝成就。修行者首先應該進入灌頂道場,親自在阿阇黎(Acharya)面前接受儀軌。或者在山間靜處,或者在寺廟裡自己喜歡的地方,建立精室,製作一個方形的壇城。根據壇城的大小,用牛糞塗地,製作八個曼茶羅(Mandala),周圍懸掛幡旗,上方安置天蓋。在壇城的西面安放虛空藏菩薩的畫像。持誦者在壇城的東面對著佛像唸誦。用各種時令鮮花散在壇上,焚燒香,點燃燈,供養飲食果子,儘自己的能力來供養。每次進入道場,對著佛像五體投地,禮拜一切如來(Tathagata)以及諸位聖眾。然後懺悔,隨喜,勸請,發願完畢后,然後結跏趺坐,或者半跏趺坐,隨意而坐,端正身體,集中意念。應當用涂香塗抹雙手,虛心合掌,如同未開放的蓮花。誦持清凈真言三遍或七遍,在頭頂上散印,這樣三業清凈,成就殊勝的澡浴。凈三業真言曰:

The Dhāraṇī Recitation Method of Great Akasagarbha Bodhisattva

Translated by the Tripitaka Master Amoghavajra of Da Xing Shan Temple, holding the titles of Grand Master of the Ministry of Works, Special Advanced Official of the Three Departments, Acting Minister of the Court of State Ceremonial, Duke Su of the State of Guo with a fief of three thousand households, bestowed with purple robes, posthumously granted the title of Minister of Public Works, posthumously honored with the title of Dajian, and bestowed the honorary title of Greatly Wise, under imperial decree.

I will now, based on the Yoga Vajrasekhara Sutra, expound the mantra teachings of Akasagarbha Bodhisattva (Treasure Division). This is out of compassion for those, both lay and monastic, who are of meager fortune and virtue, lacking in resources, and whose worldly and transcendental aspirations are often unfulfilled. If one practices according to these teachings, karmic obstacles will be eliminated, merit will increase, the mind will be joyful, one will purely believe in the Mahayana, benefit sentient beings, and the mind will not regress. All worldly and transcendental treasures will be obtained, and one will be able to benefit all beings. The merit gained from a single utterance or thought is as vast as space. How much more so if one practices diligently and according to the Dharma, one's wishes will surely be fulfilled with supreme accomplishment. The practitioner should first enter an initiation mandala and receive the ritual from the Acharya (teacher). Or in a quiet place in the mountains, or in a temple according to one's preference, establish a clean room and create a square altar. According to the size of the altar, smear the ground with cow dung and create eight mandalas. Hang banners around the perimeter and place a canopy above. Place an image of Akasagarbha Bodhisattva on the west side of the altar. The practitioner should face the image on the east side of the altar and recite the mantra. Scatter various seasonal flowers on the altar, burn incense, light lamps, and offer food and fruits according to one's ability. Each time entering the practice place, prostrate with five limbs before the image, paying homage to all the Tathagatas (Thus Come Ones) and all the holy beings. Then, after repenting, rejoicing, requesting, and making vows, sit in the lotus position or half-lotus position as desired, keeping the body upright and the mind focused. Apply scented oil to both hands and join them with palms together, like an unopened lotus flower. Recite the purification mantra three or seven times and scatter the hand seal on the crown of the head. Thus, the three karmas are purified, accomplishing the supreme bath. The mantra for purifying the three karmas is:

次結佛部心三昧耶印。

以止觀十度。內相叉作拳。以禪智並豎。結印成已。觀想諸佛遍滿虛空。即誦佛部心真言三遍。頂上散印真言曰。

次結蓮華部心三昧耶印。

準前佛部心印。智度屈入掌。直豎禪度。結此契已。想於一切如來右邊。有觀自在菩薩並諸眷屬。印誦蓮華部心真言三遍。頂上右散印真言曰。

唵阿(去引)嚧(引)力迦(半音)娑嚩(二合引)賀(引)

次結金剛部心三昧耶印。

準前佛部心印。以禪度屈入掌。直豎智度。想於一切如來左邊。有金剛手菩薩並諸眷屬。即誦金剛部心真言三遍。頂左散印真言曰。

唵嚩日啰(二合)地力(二合)迦(半音)娑嚩(二合引)賀

次結被甲護身印。

以觀羽禪度橫于掌內。以進忍戒檀四度。握拳結此契成印身五處所謂印額右肩左肩心喉。是名五處護身真言曰。

由結此印加持五處。即成被金剛光焰堅固甲冑。一切諸魔不能障難。所持真言速得成就。

次結請虛空藏菩薩印。

二羽金剛縛。直豎忍愿。反蹙如寶形。進力各屈

依照前面的佛部心印,將智度屈入掌中,直接豎立禪度。結成此印后,觀想在一切如來的右邊,有觀自在菩薩(Avalokiteśvara)以及諸位眷屬。印誦蓮華部心真言三遍,在頭頂右邊散印,真言是:

唵阿(去引)嚧(引)力迦(半音)娑嚩(二合引)賀(引)

接下來結金剛部心三昧耶印。

依照前面的佛部心印,將禪度屈入掌中,直接豎立智度。觀想在一切如來的左邊,有金剛手菩薩(Vajrapani)以及諸位眷屬。隨即誦金剛部心真言三遍,在頭頂左邊散印,真言是:

唵嚩日啰(二合)地力(二合)迦(半音)娑嚩(二合引)賀

接下來結被甲護身印。

用觀羽禪度橫放在掌內,用進忍戒檀四度,握拳結成此印,在身上五個地方加持,所謂印額頭、右肩、左肩、心、喉。這稱為五處護身,真言是:

唵步(引)入嚩(二合)羅吽(引)

由於結此印加持五個地方,就成為被金剛光焰堅固的甲冑,一切諸魔不能夠障礙為難,所持的真言迅速得到成就。

接下來結請虛空藏菩薩(Ākāśagarbha)印。

兩手作金剛縛(Vajra-bandha),直接豎立忍愿,反向收縮如寶形,進力各自彎曲。

Next, form the Samaya Mudra of the Buddha-Heart.

Use the ten degrees of Stopping and Contemplation, interlock them inside to form a fist, and erect the Dhyana and Wisdom fingers side by side. Once the mudra is formed, visualize all Buddhas filling the void. Then, recite the Buddha-Heart mantra three times, scattering the mudra on the crown of the head. The mantra is:

Om ir na ir ka (half sound) svaha (dvi-samdhi iti) ha (iti)

Next, form the Samaya Mudra of the Lotus-Heart.

Following the previous Buddha-Heart Mudra, bend the Wisdom and Prajna fingers into the palm, and erect the Dhyana finger straight. After forming this mudra, visualize Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva and all his retinue on the right side of all Tathagatas. Recite the Lotus-Heart mantra three times, scattering the mudra on the right side of the crown of the head. The mantra is:

Om a (gone sound iti) ru (iti) li ka (half sound) svaha (dvi-samdhi iti) ha (iti)

Next, form the Samaya Mudra of the Vajra-Heart.

Following the previous Buddha-Heart Mudra, bend the Dhyana finger into the palm, and erect the Wisdom finger straight. Visualize Vajrapani Bodhisattva and all his retinue on the left side of all Tathagatas. Then, recite the Vajra-Heart mantra three times, scattering the mudra on the left side of the crown of the head. The mantra is:

Om vajra (dvi-samdhi) dhri ka (dvi-samdhi) svaha (dvi-samdhi iti) ha

Next, form the Armor Protection Mudra.

Place the Contemplation and Feather fingers horizontally inside the palm. Use the four fingers of Progress, Patience, Precept, and Charity to form a fist. Form this mudra and apply it to five places on the body, namely the forehead, right shoulder, left shoulder, heart, and throat. This is called the Five Places Protection. The mantra is:

Om bhu (iti) jvala (dvi-samdhi) hum (iti)

By forming this mudra and applying it to the five places, one becomes protected by a firm armor of Vajra light and flames. All demons cannot obstruct or cause difficulties, and the mantras recited will quickly be accomplished.

Next, form the mudra for inviting Ākāśagarbha Bodhisattva (Space-Store Bodhisattva).

Form the Vajra-bandha (diamond bond) with both hands, erect the Kshanti (patience) and Pranidhana (vow) fingers straight, contract them backwards into a jewel shape, and bend the Progress and Strength fingers individually.


如鉤。想于壇中有寶樓閣。于樓閣內有八葉開敷蓮華。誦真言四遍。以進力向身招之。本尊並及眷屬皆來集會。迎請真言曰。

唵薩嚩怛他(去)誐哆(引)毗囇(引)迦嚩日啰(二合)啰怛曩(二合)薩嚩(引)舍(引)跛哩布啰迦弱吽鑁斛(引)怛囕(二合引)

次結軍吒利身印。

以檀慧右押左。相叉入掌。以戒方並押交上。以禪智並押戒方。以忍愿直豎頭相拄。進力屈如鉤。作三股杵形。即誦軍吒利真言。隨誦以印。左旋三匝辟除一切諸魔。右轉三匝便成結界真言曰。

曩謨啰怛曩(二合)怛啰(二合)夜(引)耶娜莫室戰(二合)拏摩賀嚩日啰(二合)矩嚕(二合引)馱(引)耶唵戶魯戶魯底瑟姹(二合)底瑟姹(二合)滿馱滿馱賀曩賀曩阿密哩(二合)帝吽發吒娑嚩(二合引)賀(引)

次獻遏伽水。

行者常于壇上。近膝置二凈器。滿盛香水以為遏伽。初迎請時獻右邊者。后奉送時獻左邊者。每奉獻時二羽捧遏伽器。當額奉獻。即誦真言想浴本尊及諸聖眾真言曰。

次結獻蓮華座印。

以二羽虛心合掌。以檀慧禪智各頭相著。余中間六度微屈。頭相離猶如開敷蓮華葉形真言曰。

其次獻遏伽(Arghya,供養用的水)。

修行者常于壇上,靠近膝蓋放置兩個乾淨的器皿,盛滿香水作為遏伽。初次迎請時獻右邊的器皿,之後奉送時獻左邊的器皿。每次奉獻時,雙手捧著遏伽器皿,當額奉獻。即誦真言,觀想沐浴本尊及諸聖眾。真言曰:

『唵 嚩日啰 娜迦 吽』

其次結獻蓮花座印。

以兩手虛心合掌。以檀慧(左右手的中指)、禪智(左右手的小指)各自指頭相著。其餘中間六度(六波羅蜜,指無名指、食指和拇指)微微彎曲,指頭相離,猶如綻放的蓮花葉形。真言曰:

『唵 迦么攞 娑嚩賀』 English version: As a hook. Visualize a jeweled pavilion within the mandala. Inside the pavilion, there is an eight-petaled lotus flower in full bloom. Recite the mantra four times, using the 'advancing force' (mudra, representing the power of diligence) to beckon towards oneself. The Yidam (personal tutelary deity) along with their retinue will come. The welcoming mantra is:

'Om Sarva Tathagata Vileka Vajra Ratna Sarva Sha Paripuraka Jyah Hum Vam Hoh Tram'

Next, form the Kundali (one of the wrathful Vajra deities) body mudra.

With the 'giving wisdom' (middle fingers of both hands), the right hand presses over the left, crossing them into the palm. With the 'discipline and method' (ring fingers of both hands) together, press them over the crossed fingers. With the 'meditation and wisdom' (little fingers of both hands) together, press them over the 'discipline and method' (ring fingers). With the 'patience and aspiration' (index fingers of both hands) erect, the tips touching. Bend the 'advancing force' (middle fingers of both hands) like a hook, forming the shape of a three-pronged vajra. Then recite the Kundali mantra. While reciting, rotate the mudra three times counterclockwise to dispel all demons. Rotate three times clockwise to form a boundary. The mantra is:

'Namo Ratna Trayaya Namah Shanda Maha Vajra Krodhaya Om Huru Huru Tistha Tistha Bandha Bandha Hana Hana Amrite Hum Phat Svaha'

Next, offer Arghya (water for offering).

The practitioner should always place two clean vessels filled with fragrant water as Arghya on the altar, near the knees. Offer the right vessel during the initial welcoming, and the left vessel during the farewell. Each time offering, hold the Arghya vessel with both hands, offering it at the forehead. Then recite the mantra, visualizing bathing the Yidam and all the holy beings. The mantra is:

'Om Vajra Daka Hum'

Next, form the lotus seat mudra.

With both hands, form a hollow-hearted joined palm. With the 'giving wisdom' (middle fingers of both hands) and 'meditation wisdom' (little fingers of both hands), have their tips touching respectively. The remaining six perfections (six paramitas, referring to the ring fingers, index fingers, and thumbs) in the middle are slightly bent, with the tips separated, resembling the shape of blooming lotus petals. The mantra is:

'Om Kamala Svaha'

【English Translation】 English version: As a hook. Visualize a jeweled pavilion within the mandala. Inside the pavilion, there is an eight-petaled lotus flower in full bloom. 次結羯磨印。

以止羽當心仰掌。以智力相捻。反屈力度如寶形。以觀羽仰掌。向前作施愿勢結此契已作是思惟。我身即同虛空藏菩薩即誦羯磨真言曰。

唵嚩日啰(二合)啰怛弩(二合引鼻聲)憾

由作此觀加持故。行者自身即等同本尊虛空藏菩薩。

次結三昧耶印。

以二羽金剛縛。進力反蹙如寶形。禪智並豎置於當心。即誦三昧耶真言七遍真言曰。

唵嚩日啰(二合)啰怛曩(二合)吽

即取水精念珠安於掌中。合掌當心。誦加持念珠真言三遍真言曰。

唵尾嚧(引)左曩么攞娑嚩(二合)賀(引)

則捧珠安於頂上。發是愿言。十方世界所有修真言行者。彼所受持一切真言。愿速成就。即止羽承珠。觀羽當心。移珠不緩不急。心離散亂。或千或百限數畢已

【現代漢語翻譯】 現代漢語譯本 由結此印真言加持,一切聖眾以及本尊,都得到七寶蓮花作為座位。

接著結大虛空藏普通供養印。

用兩手合掌,用無名指和小指交叉在外側纏繞,用中指和食指反向彎曲成寶珠的形狀。結成手印后,誦唸真言四遍。普供養真言說:

唵 誐誐曩 三婆嚩 嚩日啰 斛

觀想從手印中出生無量種種供養,如香、花、燈、燭、涂香、飲食、寶幢、幡蓋。就在本尊以及一切聖眾面前,這樣就成就了真實廣大的供養。

接著結羯磨印。

用左手掌心向上放在胸前,用右手的中指和食指相捻,反向彎曲中指,像寶珠的形狀。用左手掌心向上,向前作出施愿的姿勢。結成這個手印后,這樣思惟:我的身體就等同於虛空藏菩薩。就誦唸羯磨真言說:

唵 嚩日啰 啰怛弩 憾

由於作這樣的觀想加持的緣故,修行者自身就等同於本尊虛空藏菩薩。

接著結三昧耶印。

用兩手作金剛縛(內縛),中指和食指反向彎曲成寶珠的形狀,禪智並豎立放置在胸前。就誦唸三昧耶真言七遍。真言說:

唵 嚩日啰 啰怛曩 吽

就取水晶念珠放在掌中,合掌放在胸前,誦唸加持念珠真言三遍。真言說:

唵 尾嚧左曩 么攞 娑嚩賀

就捧著念珠放在頭頂上,發出這樣的愿言:十方世界所有修持真言的修行者,他們所受持的一切真言,愿迅速成就。就用左手托著念珠,右手放在胸前,移動念珠不快不慢,心中不散亂,或者念滿一千遍或者一百遍,達到限定的數目后。

【English Translation】 English version By the power of this mudra and mantra, all the holy assembly and the principal deity will obtain seven-jeweled lotuses as their seats.

Next, form the Great Akasagarbha (虛空藏) Universal Offering Mudra.

Bring the two hands together in prayer. Interlock the ring and little fingers outwards. Bend the middle and index fingers back to form a jewel shape. Once the mudra is formed, recite the mantra four times. The Universal Offering Mantra is:

Om gagana sambhava vajra hum.

Visualize that from the mudra emerge limitless varieties of offerings such as incense, flowers, lamps, candles, scented oils, food, jeweled banners, and canopies. Present these before the principal deity and all the holy assembly, thus accomplishing a true and vast offering.

Next, form the Karma Mudra.

Place the left hand, palm up, at the heart. Touch the tips of the middle and index fingers of the right hand together, bending the middle finger back into a jewel shape. Place the left hand, palm up, and extend it forward in a gesture of granting wishes. Having formed this mudra, contemplate thus: My body is identical to Akasagarbha Bodhisattva. Then recite the Karma Mantra:

Om vajra ratna hrih.

By performing this visualization and empowerment, the practitioner's own body becomes identical to the principal deity, Akasagarbha Bodhisattva.

Next, form the Samaya Mudra.

Form the vajra fist (inner interlock) with both hands. Bend the middle and index fingers back into a jewel shape. Place the wisdom and meditation fingers upright at the heart. Then recite the Samaya Mantra seven times. The mantra is:

Om vajra ratna hum.

Then take a crystal rosary and place it in the palms of your hands, bringing them together in prayer at the heart. Recite the mantra to empower the rosary three times. The mantra is:

Om virocana mala svaha.

Then raise the rosary to the crown of the head and make this vow: May all mantra practitioners in the ten directions of the world, and all the mantras they uphold, be swiftly accomplished. Then hold the rosary with the left hand, palm up, and place the right hand at the heart. Move the beads neither too quickly nor too slowly, keeping the mind free from distraction. After completing the prescribed number, whether one thousand or one hundred...

誦讚歎已。即取左邊閼伽。當額奉獻。即結前軍吒利印。左旋一匝解界。次結三昧耶印。奉送一切聖眾。奉送真言曰。

舉印安頂上。誦真言七遍。即成奉送一切聖眾。復結三部心三昧耶各誦三遍。次結護身印。如前印於五處。即禮佛發願隨意出道場。轉讀大乘印佛印塔。廣行檀施常須饒益一切有情。

【English Translation】 English version: Holding the jewel and placing it on the crown of the head, I make this vow again: May all the desired supreme rewards, both worldly and other-worldly, that all sentient beings hope for, be swiftly accomplished through the power of my recitation. Then, place the jewel back in its original position, and form the Samaya Mudra (a hand gesture symbolizing the union with the deity) of the principal deity again. Recite the Samaya Mantra seven times and scatter the mudra over the crown of the head. Then, form the Universal Offering Mudra and recite the Common Offering Mantra seven times, scattering the mudra over the crown of the head. Recite the praise of the Akashagarbha (space treasury) Bodhisattva: 'Vajra Ratna Su Vajra Ratha Vajra Kasha Maha Mani A Kasha Garbha Vajra Dha Vajra Garbha Namo Stute' After reciting the praise, take the water (Argha) from the left side and offer it before the forehead. Then, form the previous Kundali Mudra (a wrathful deity's mudra), rotate it once to the left to dissolve the boundary. Next, form the Samaya Mudra and respectfully send off all the holy beings. The mantra for sending off is: 'Om Vajra Ratna Muh' Raise the mudra and place it on the crown of the head, reciting the mantra seven times, thus completing the ritual of respectfully sending off all the holy beings. Then, form the Samaya Mudras of the three families (referring to Buddha, Padma, and Vajra families), reciting each three times.
