爾時滅惡趣菩薩在毗盧遮那佛大集會中。從座而起合掌恭敬白佛言。世尊我為當來末法雜染世界惡趣眾生。說滅罪成佛陀羅尼。修三密門證唸佛三昧得生凈土。何以方便重罪眾生為拔苦與樂。我欲拔濟一切眾生苦。爾時佛告滅惡趣菩薩言。無懺無愧邪見放逸眾生無拔濟法。生受諸諸困厄。死墮無間地獄。不聞三寶名。何況不見佛。況復受人身。滅惡趣菩薩復白言。如來之方便不可量。如來神力無盡。唯愿世尊說秘密拔苦法。佛在一切眾生父母。為五濁眾生說決定成佛法。佛告滅惡趣菩薩言。我有秘密法。為世希有。滅罪成佛最勝第一。名曰隨求即得真言。若有人才聽是真言題名。若誦題名。人親近。若誦題名。人一處住。是人一切天魔惡鬼一切善神王皆來守護。食五辛魚害。亦淫姊妹。若一切女人畜生女諸毗那耶迦。不能為障礙。皆隨順晝夜守護。除災難令得安穩。何況自誦。若具足誦。一切重罪悉皆消滅。得無量福德。死必生極樂世界。雖作極重罪

爾時,滅惡趣菩薩(Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva)在毗盧遮那佛(Vairocana Buddha)大**中,從座而起,合掌恭敬,對佛說:『世尊,我爲了未來末法時代,充滿雜染的世界中受惡報的眾生,宣說一個可以消除罪業,成就佛果的陀羅尼。通過修持身、語、意三密,證得唸佛三昧,往生凈土。用什麼方便才能幫助那些罪孽深重的眾生,為他們解除痛苦,帶來快樂?我想要救濟一切眾生的苦難。』

這時,佛告訴滅惡趣菩薩(Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva)說:『對於那些沒有懺悔之心,沒有羞愧之意,持有邪見,放縱自己的眾生,是沒有辦法救濟的。他們活著的時候會遭受各種困苦,死後會墮入無間地獄,聽不到三寶(Buddha, Dharma, Sangha)的名字,更不用說見到佛了,更不可能再獲得人身。』

滅惡趣菩薩(Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva)再次對佛說:『如來的方便法門是不可估量的,如來的神力是無窮無盡的。我希望世尊能夠宣說秘密的拔苦法門。佛是一切眾生的父母,請為五濁惡世的眾生宣說必定成佛的方法。』

佛告訴滅惡趣菩薩(Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva)說:『我有一種秘密法門,世間罕見,是消除罪業,成就佛果最殊勝、最第一的法門,名字叫做隨求即得真言。如果有人僅僅是聽聞這個真言的名字,或者書寫這個真言的名字,或者誦讀這個真言的名字,或者親近這個人,或者和誦讀這個真言的人住在一起,那麼這個人就會得到一切天魔惡鬼和一切善神王的守護。即使他吃了五辛、魚肉,甚至和姐妹發生性關係,或者和一切女人、畜生女發生性關係,所有的毗那耶迦(Vinayaka,障礙神)也不能對他造成障礙,都會順從他,日夜守護他,消除災難,讓他得到安穩,更何況是自己誦持這個真言呢?如果能夠具足地誦持這個真言,一切的重罪都會消除,得到無量的福德,死後必定往生極樂世界。即使造作了極重的罪業,』

The Supreme Secret Accomplishment Through Vajratopama Yoga: The Dharani Ritual for Instantly Fulfilling Desires, Achieving Miraculous Transformations, Blessings, and Accomplishments

Translated under Imperial Order by the Tripitaka Master, Sramana Amoghavajra of Daxingshan Temple, holding the title of Special Advanced Official of the Honglu Court

At that time, Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva (Bodhisattva who eliminates evil destinies) was in the great assembly of Vairocana Buddha (the Illuminating Buddha). He arose from his seat, joined his palms respectfully, and said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, for the sake of sentient beings in the impure world of the future Dharma-ending Age, I will speak a dharani that can eliminate sins and achieve Buddhahood. By practicing the three secrets of body, speech, and mind, one can attain the Samadhi of Buddha Recitation and be reborn in the Pure Land. What expedient means can be used to help those sentient beings with heavy sins, to relieve their suffering and bring them happiness? I wish to liberate all sentient beings from suffering.'

Then, the Buddha said to Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva: 'For those sentient beings who have no repentance, no shame, hold wrong views, and are unrestrained, there is no way to save them. They will suffer various hardships while alive and fall into the Avici Hell after death. They will not hear the names of the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), let alone see the Buddha, and it is even more impossible for them to be reborn as humans.'

Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva again said to the Buddha: 'The expedient means of the Tathagata (Buddha) are immeasurable, and the divine power of the Tathagata is inexhaustible. I hope the World Honored One can speak the secret method of relieving suffering. The Buddha is the parent of all sentient beings. Please speak the method of definitely attaining Buddhahood for the sentient beings in the five turbidities.'

The Buddha said to Nirvapana-Durgati Bodhisattva: 'I have a secret Dharma, which is rare in the world. It is the most supreme and foremost method for eliminating sins and achieving Buddhahood, called the 'Instantly Fulfilling Desire' mantra. If someone merely hears the name of this mantra, or writes the name of this mantra, or recites the name of this mantra, or is close to this person, or lives in the same place as the person who recites this mantra, then this person will be protected by all the heavenly demons, evil ghosts, and all the good spirit kings. Even if he eats the five pungent roots, fish, or engages in sexual relations with his sisters, or with all women or female animals, all the Vinayakas (obstacle-creating deities) will not be able to create obstacles for him, but will obey him and protect him day and night, eliminating disasters and bringing him peace. How much more so if he recites this mantra himself? If one can fully recite this mantra, all heavy sins will be eliminated, and one will obtain immeasurable merits. After death, one will surely be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss. Even if one has committed extremely heavy sins,'


。不墮地獄。殺父母。殺羅漢。破和合僧。出佛身血。燒經像。穢伽藍。謗諸人。謗諸教。自是非他。如是作重罪。決定生極樂界。上品生自蓮花中化生。更不受胎生。唯成佛近人先聽是真言。成佛遠人世世不聽是真言。若男若女童男童女持是真言題名。當得安樂。無諸疾病。色相熾盛。圓滿吉祥。福德增長。一切真言法皆得成就。若是真言題名若一字二字乃至十字。若真言之一句二句乃至十句亦一遍。金銀琉璃玉中入真言頂戴。是人雖未入壇。即成入一切壇。與入壇者成其同行。等同諸佛無異。不作惡夢。重罪消滅。若有起噁心來相向者。不能為害。一切所作皆成就。

佛說普遍焰滿清凈熾盛思惟寶印心無能勝總持大隨求陀羅尼。

【English Translation】 English version: Will not fall into hell. Killing parents, killing an Arahan (Arahan, a saint who has attained Nirvana), disrupting the harmony of the Sangha, causing the Buddha to bleed, burning scriptures and Buddha statues, defiling monasteries, slandering others, slandering various teachings, being self-righteous and denying others. Those who commit such serious sins are destined to be reborn in the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, transformed in the upper-grade lotus, and will no longer experience womb birth. Only those who have a connection with becoming a Buddha can hear this mantra first, and those who have no connection with becoming a Buddha will not hear this mantra for generations. Whether it is a man or a woman, a boy or a girl, reciting this mantra and writing down their name will bring peace and happiness, without various diseases, with a radiant appearance, complete auspiciousness, increased blessings and virtues, and all mantra practices will be accomplished. If this mantra is written down with one's name, even if it is only one or two characters, or even ten characters, or one or two sentences of the mantra, or even ten sentences, and recited once, and the gold, silver, lapis lazuli, or jade with the mantra written on it is worn on the head, this person, even if they have not entered the mandala, is equivalent to entering all mandalas, becoming a companion with those who have entered the mandala, and is no different from all Buddhas, does not have nightmares, and serious sins are eliminated. If someone with malicious intent comes to harm, they will not be able to cause harm, and everything they do will be accomplished.

The Buddha speaks the Universally Radiant, Perfectly Pure, Blazing, Contemplative, Jewel-Sealed Heart, Unconquerable, All-Encompassing Great Dharani of Following Wishes.

是真言是為無數億恒河沙諸佛智根本。無量諸佛是真言出。佛之成道由持是真言。故三世諸佛經無數萬億劫。毗盧遮那如來自法界智中盡無數劫求得。由是名隨求即得真言。一切諸佛不得是真言不成佛。外道婆羅門得是真言成佛速。所以者何。昔摩竭陀國有一婆羅門。名俱博婆羅門。不見佛不聞法。不六波羅蜜行。不四無量住。日日殺食豬羊熊鹿鵝鴨龜等類。各日日五十或一百生。二百五十年命過。即去人間到閻羅王宮。即閻羅王白帝釋言。此罪人賜何地獄。罪輕重何。帝釋告白。是人罪不可量。算數不可計。善金札無一善。惡鐵札不可盡計。速阿鼻地獄可送遣。則獄卒請事投入。爾時地獄忽然為蓮花池。彌滿八功德水。其中在種種蓮花。所謂青白紅紫。而色勝諸蓮。每其花上坐各罪人無諸之苦。則馬頭牛頭閻羅王申云。此獄奇異。此罪人謬賜也。地獄變成凈土。罪人不異佛。我見聞如是事者。爾時閻羅王往詣帝釋宮。此俱博不罪人。神變如上說。帝釋答云。二生之善無曾一塵許。不所知我。則詣佛界白釋迦文佛言。俱博之善如何。神變如是。爾時佛告帝釋言。俱博自生不作一善。唯可見人間之骸。

過去摩竭陀國有一婆羅門,名叫俱博(Kubera)婆羅門。他不見佛,不聞法,不行六波羅蜜(Six Paramitas),不住四無量心(Four Immeasurables)。每日殺食豬羊熊鹿鵝鴨龜等類,每日殺生五十或一百,壽命二百五十年後,便離開人間到了閻羅王宮。閻羅王稟告帝釋(Indra)說:『此罪人應賜予何種地獄?罪業輕重如何?』帝釋告之:『此人罪業不可量,算數不可計。善業金札無一善,惡業鐵札不可盡計。速速送往阿鼻地獄(Avici Hell)。』獄卒便請示投入地獄。

當時,地獄忽然變成蓮花池,充滿八功德水(Eight Qualities of Water)。其中有種種蓮花,所謂青白紅紫,其顏色勝過其他蓮花。每朵蓮花上都坐著罪人,沒有諸般痛苦。馬頭羅剎、牛頭羅剎和閻羅王稟告說:『此獄奇異,此罪人錯誤賜予了。地獄變成凈土,罪人與佛無異。我等見聞如此之事。』

當時,閻羅王前往帝釋宮,稟告說:『此俱博並非罪人,神變如上所說。』帝釋回答說:『此人一生未曾有一絲一毫的善行,我並不知曉。』於是前往佛界,稟告釋迦文佛(Sakyamuni Buddha)說:『俱博的善行如何?神變竟是如此。』當時,佛告訴帝釋說:『俱博自身沒有做過一件善事,唯可見人間的骸骨。』

【English Translation】 English version: Mo da 𩕳 suo po he shi li (two combined, elongated sound) ye ru wa (two combined) la 𩕳 suo po he nang mu zi suo po he mo lu zi suo po he fei e wa di (ding yi fan) suo po he.

This mantra is the root of wisdom for countless billions of Ganges river sands of Buddhas. Limitless Buddhas emerge from this mantra. The Buddhas' attainment of Buddhahood is due to upholding this mantra. Therefore, the Buddhas of the three times, after countless billions of kalpas, Vairocana Tathagata (Vairocana Buddha) obtained it from the wisdom of his own Dharma Realm after countless kalpas. Hence, it is named the 'Immediately Obtainable Mantra of Following Request'. If all Buddhas do not obtain this mantra, they cannot become Buddhas. If heretical Brahmins obtain this mantra, they will quickly attain Buddhahood. Why is this so?

In the past, in the kingdom of Magadha, there was a Brahmin named Kubera (Kubera) Brahmin. He did not see the Buddha, did not hear the Dharma, did not practice the Six Paramitas (Six Paramitas), and did not abide in the Four Immeasurables (Four Immeasurables). Every day, he killed and ate pigs, sheep, bears, deer, geese, ducks, turtles, and other creatures, killing fifty or one hundred lives each day. After two hundred and fifty years of life, he left the human realm and went to the palace of King Yama (Yama). King Yama reported to Indra (Indra), saying, 'Which hell should this sinner be granted? How heavy is his sin?' Indra replied, 'This person's sins are immeasurable and cannot be counted. There is not a single good deed on the golden tablet of good deeds, and the iron tablets of evil deeds cannot be fully counted. Quickly send him to Avici Hell (Avici Hell).' The prison guards then requested to throw him into hell.

At that time, the hell suddenly transformed into a lotus pond, filled with the Eight Qualities of Water (Eight Qualities of Water). Within it were various kinds of lotuses, so-called blue, white, red, and purple, whose colors surpassed all other lotuses. On each flower sat sinners without any suffering. The horse-headed Rakshasa, the ox-headed Rakshasa, and King Yama reported, saying, 'This hell is strange; this sinner has been wrongly granted. Hell has transformed into a pure land, and the sinners are no different from Buddhas. We have seen and heard such things.'

At that time, King Yama went to Indra's palace and reported, saying, 'This Kubera is not a sinner; his divine transformations are as described above.' Indra replied, 'This person has never had a single good deed in his life; I do not know.' Then he went to the Buddha realm and reported to Sakyamuni Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha), saying, 'How are Kubera's good deeds? His divine transformations are like this.' At that time, the Buddha told Indra, 'Kubera himself has not done a single good deed; only the bones of humans can be seen.'


帝釋則來見人間葬所。俱博葬所西去一里有卒睹波。其中在此根本真言。朽卒睹波真言墮落地上。其文一字隨風彼俱博系骸上。爾時帝釋來。歸奇異八地獄移每地獄如是遂成不受苦。爾時俱博並諸罪人皆共具三十二相圓滿八十種好。一時蓮花臺藏世界成諸佛菩薩。上方世界之無垢佛是俱博也。滅罪之切能如是。何況自持。若至心持念人何罪有小許。以是真言名隨求即得成佛自在也。求福德自在。求七寶自在也。因斯有七名。一者心佛心真言。毗盧遮那如來心智之中之智心故。二者一切佛心印真言。諸佛甚深智心印故。三者灌頂真言。灌頂持念者故。四者灌頂印真言。洗煩惱印菩提故。五者結界真言。除罪障避除諸魔故。六者佛心真言。佛之真實心智故。七者心中。無勝此法故。持念者亦復如是。如佛為諸法王最為第一。滅惡趣。此真言能救一切眾生者。此真言能令一切眾生離諸苦惱。此真言能大饒益一切眾生。充滿其愿。如佛能救一切苦惱眾生。如寒者得火。如裸者得衣。如孤子得母。如度者得船。如病得醫。如闇得燈。如貧得寶。如炬除闇。此真言亦復如是。能令眾生離一切苦一切病惱。能解一切生死之縛。則為閻浮提人病之良藥。若人有病。得聞是真言。病即消滅。若有善男子善女人。暫聞此真言。所有一切罪障

【English Translation】 English version: Indra (Śakra Devānām Indra, the ruler of the Trāyastriṃśa heaven and a protector of Buddhism) then came to the burial ground in the human realm. One league west of the Kubera (the god of wealth) burial ground, there was a Stupa (a Buddhist monument). Within it was the fundamental mantra. The mantra from the decayed Stupa fell to the ground, and one of its syllables was carried by the wind onto the bones of Kubera. At that time, Indra arrived and was astonished that the eight great hells were thus transformed, each hell becoming free from suffering. Then, Kubera and all the sinners possessed the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks of perfection. Instantly, the Lotus Treasury World System became filled with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The stainless Buddha of the upper world was none other than Kubera. The power to eliminate sins is such, what more if one personally upholds it. If one sincerely recites this mantra, how could a person have even a trace of sin? Therefore, this mantra is named the 'Great Compassionate Dharani of the Great Buddha-Crown Usnisa,' which grants Buddhahood and freedom. It grants freedom of merit and virtue, and freedom of the seven treasures. Hence, it has seven names: First, the Mind-Buddha-Heart Mantra, because it is the wisdom-heart within the wisdom of the mind of Vairocana Tathagata (the universal Buddha). Second, the All-Buddha-Heart-Seal Mantra, because it is the heart-seal of the profound wisdom of all Buddhas. Third, the Empowerment Mantra, because it empowers those who uphold and recite it. Fourth, the Empowerment-Seal Mantra, because it washes away afflictions and seals Bodhi (enlightenment). Fifth, the Boundary-Binding Mantra, because it removes sinful obstacles and wards off all demons. Sixth, the Buddha-Heart Mantra, because it is the true wisdom of the Buddha's heart. Seventh, the Heart-Within, because there is no dharma superior to this. Those who uphold and recite it are also like this. Just as the Buddha is the king of all dharmas and the foremost, it eradicates evil destinies. This mantra can save all sentient beings; this mantra can enable all sentient beings to be free from all suffering and afflictions; this mantra can greatly benefit all sentient beings and fulfill their wishes. Just as the Buddha can save all suffering sentient beings, like the cold finding fire, like the naked finding clothes, like the orphan finding a mother, like the one crossing finding a boat, like the sick finding a doctor, like the darkness finding a lamp, like the poor finding treasure, like a torch dispelling darkness. This mantra is also like this, it can enable sentient beings to be free from all suffering, all sickness and afflictions, it can untie all the bonds of birth and death, and it is a good medicine for the people of Jambudvipa (the continent where humans reside). If a person is sick and hears this mantra, the sickness will immediately be extinguished. If there is a good man or good woman who temporarily hears this mantra, all their sinful obstacles


悉得消滅。若雖為一切女人淫犯。不受胎生苦。所以者何。持真言者親近供養。若男若女皆備佛身故。若能持念者。當知是人即是金剛身。火不能燒。當知如來以神通力擁護是人。當知是人是如來身。當知是人毗盧遮那如來身。當知是人是如來藏。當知是人是如來眼。當知是人被金剛甲冑。當知是人是光明身。當知是人是不壞身。當知是人是能摧伏一切怨敵。當知是人所有罪障悉皆消滅。當知是真言能除地獄苦。我為佛道。于無量土從始至今。廣說諸法不可量也。而於其中是真言最為第一。不可比。三千大千世界雖一切眾生殺害不墮惡趣。由是真言威力故。何況可受人間之苦難。常令七寶雨。無病患災難。一切所求皆滿足。身心安穩福壽無量。滅惡趣。已下有七小真言。是者不可持念。根本真言別名也。若有兒女子不堪持大真言者。隨力受持耳。一一說真言。

【English Translation】 English version: All will be extinguished. Even if one were to engage in sexual relations with all women, one would not suffer the pain of being born from a womb. Why is this so? Because those who uphold the dharani (真言) closely attend to and make offerings, and whether male or female, they all possess the body of a Buddha. If one can uphold and recite this, know that this person is a Vajra (金剛,diamond) body, which fire cannot burn. Know that the Tathagata (如來,Thus Come One) protects this person with supernatural powers. Know that this person is the body of the Tathagata. Know that this person is the body of Vairocana Buddha (毗盧遮那如來,the Buddha of radiant light). Know that this person is the Tathagatagarbha (如來藏,the womb of the Tathagata). Know that this person is the eye of the Tathagata. Know that this person is clad in Vajra armor. Know that this person is a body of light. Know that this person is an indestructible body. Know that this person is able to subdue all enemies. Know that all the karmic obstacles of this person will be extinguished. Know that this dharani can eliminate the suffering of hell. For the sake of the Buddha path, in immeasurable lands, from the beginning until now, I have extensively spoken of immeasurable dharmas (法,teachings). Among them, this dharani is the foremost, incomparable. Even if all beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds were killed, they would not fall into evil realms, because of the power of this dharani. How much less would they suffer the hardships of the human realm? It constantly causes the rain of seven treasures to fall, without illness or calamity. All desires are fulfilled, the body and mind are peaceful and stable, and lifespan is immeasurable. It eliminates evil realms. Below are seven small dharanis, which are not to be recited, they are alternative names for the root dharani. If there are children who are unable to uphold the great dharani, they may uphold the small dharanis according to their ability. Now, I will explain each dharani.

It can remove all karmic obstacles and defilements. It can destroy all suffering in the impure and evil paths. It eradicates evil destinies. This mantra is countless billions of Ganges sands, kotis, hundreds of thousands.'

This mantra is spoken to break through the impure and evil paths of all sentient beings, to liberate those who face imminent suffering and are about to fall into the sea of birth and death, and for those sentient beings who are short-lived, have little merit, are without protection, and delight in creating various evil deeds. Furthermore, this mantra is for beings in all kinds of suffering places, such as those in hells and evil realms, and for beings who transmigrate through various births and deaths, have little merit, do not believe, and lose the right path, so that they may all be liberated. At that time, the Buddha told Destroyer of Evil Destinies (a Bodhisattva's name): 'I entrust this mantra to you. This mantra has the power to deliver all sentient beings from the sea of suffering. They can immediately be reborn in the assembly of Buddhas and Tathagatas who are in their last life before Buddhahood, or be born into a noble Brahmin (Hindu priest) family, or be born into a noble Kshatriya (ancient Indian warrior) caste family, or be born into the most honorable family of wealthy nobles. Destroyer of Evil Destinies, this person being able to be born in the above-mentioned noble places is all due to hearing this mantra. The place of rebirth will be purified and without regression. Destroyer of Evil Destinies, even reaching the most supreme place of the Bodhi field is all due to praising the merits of this mantra. The merits of this mantra are such that it is named the 'Immediately Obtained Mantra of Following Request'. Next, the secret mudras etc. are explained: the secret visualization of the Five Tathagatas. First, seal the heart with the first mudra, then place it on the top of the head. 【English Translation】 English version: If someone slanders this mantra, they will not obtain the spiritual efficacy of the mantra for generations, and in this life, they will suffer from vitiligo. For the benefit of all sentient beings, I proclaim this mantra, and for the impoverished sentient beings, I leave behind this Cintamani (wish-fulfilling jewel). This is the profound Dharma treasury of the Sarvajna-mudra (all-knowing wisdom seal) of Vairocana Tathagata (the Buddha of universal light). Those who constantly recite it should respect it as they would respect the Buddha.
