曩日釋迦如來菩提樹下坐大眾集會中。時馬鳴菩薩前白佛言。欲說我莊嚴佛法。及為成像末貧窮下賤裸形眾生有情衣服。歷無數劫行菩薩行。所得大神咒有大威德。色力無比。能於世間行殊勝事。無能礙掛。時即佛微㗛告馬鳴菩薩言。善哉大丈夫。汝速可說可說。唯然世尊愍念我聽說。合掌歡喜從口中放大光明。說光中神咒曰。

曩謨三曼多沒他那迦迦馬鳴吃哩吒啰佉吒啰佉莎縛訶

若欲受持此法。先從師盡財利佈施供給。受習印契真言。則畫作菩薩像。色相白肉色而合掌坐白蓮華。乘白馬著白色衣。以瓔珞莊嚴身。首戴花冠垂右足。畫像了泥壇。始自三月三日。東面像向西。以種種廣大供具蘇乳蘇燈供養。二十八日乃至百日。須清凈潔凈。比丘及傳法利生之師恩不已失時。我常檀那家及國土放大光明。成就錦繡羅綿財絹縺致之類。金寶積如山嶽。世間受用咨(矣)。

往昔釋迦如來在菩提樹下的大眾集會中,當時馬鳴菩薩上前稟告佛說:『我想要宣說我莊嚴佛法,以及爲了那些末世貧窮、赤身裸體的眾生和有情提供衣服。我歷經無數劫修行菩薩行,得到大神咒,具有大威德,色力無比,能在世間行殊勝之事,沒有能阻礙的。』當時釋迦牟尼佛微笑,告訴馬鳴菩薩說:『善哉大丈夫!你快說吧,快說吧!』馬鳴菩薩回答:『是的,世尊,請您憐憫我,允許我宣說。』於是合掌歡喜,從口中放出大光明,在光明中宣說神咒:

『曩謨(nā mó)三曼多(sān màn duō)沒他那迦(méi tuō nā jiā)迦迦(jiā jiā)馬鳴(mǎ míng)吃哩吒(chī lī zhà)啰佉吒(luō qū zhà)啰佉(luō qū)莎縛訶(suō pó hē)』

如果想要受持此法,首先要從師處盡財力佈施供給,學習印契真言。然後畫作菩薩像,色相是白肉色,合掌坐在白蓮花上,乘坐白馬,穿著白色衣服,用瓔珞莊嚴身體,頭戴花冠,垂下右足。畫像完成後,佈置泥壇。從三月初三開始,面向東方,畫像面向西方,用種種廣大的供具,如酥乳、酥燈供養。二十八天乃至一百天,必須清凈潔凈。比丘以及傳法利生的師父恩情不失時,我常在檀那(dàn nà,施主)家及國土放大光明,成就錦繡羅綿、財絹等物,金銀珠寶堆積如山嶽,世間受用不盡。

如果有一個國家或一個人,修行我本來的誓願,那麼普天之下,所有百姓家都像前面所說的那樣,財利莊嚴具足成就,沒有一個人缺乏或有患難。我的本願都是爲了莊嚴財寶,對於佛法如果產生疑惑之心,不要發起。

The N念誦 Ritual of the Greatly Powerful and Incomparably Effective Method of Bodhisattva Ashvaghosa

In the past, when Shakyamuni Tathagata was seated under the Bodhi tree in a great assembly, Bodhisattva Ashvaghosa (Maming Pusa) stepped forward and said to the Buddha: 'I wish to proclaim my adornment of the Buddha-dharma, and to provide clothing for those impoverished, naked sentient beings in the degenerate age. Having practiced the Bodhisattva path for countless kalpas, I have obtained a great divine mantra with immense power and virtue, and incomparable strength. It can perform extraordinary deeds in the world, without any hindrance.' At that time, Shakyamuni Buddha smiled and said to Bodhisattva Ashvaghosa: 'Excellent, great man! Quickly speak it, speak it!' Bodhisattva Ashvaghosa replied: 'Yes, World-Honored One, please have compassion on me and allow me to speak.' Then, with palms joined in joy, he emitted great light from his mouth, and within the light, he proclaimed the divine mantra:

'Namo Samanta Buddhanam Ashvaghosa Khili Khata Khata Svaha'

If one wishes to uphold this method, one must first offer generous donations and service to the teacher, and learn the mudras (yinqi) and mantras. Then, paint an image of the Bodhisattva, with a white-flesh complexion, seated in the lotus position on a white lotus flower, riding a white horse, wearing white robes, adorned with necklaces, and wearing a flower crown, with the right foot hanging down. After the image is painted, prepare a mud altar. Starting from the third day of the third month, facing east, with the image facing west, offer various extensive offerings such as ghee, milk, and ghee lamps. For twenty-eight days to one hundred days, one must maintain purity and cleanliness. When the kindness of the Bhikshu and the teacher who transmits the Dharma and benefits sentient beings is not lost, I will constantly emit great light in the house of the donor (dan na) and the country, bringing about brocades, silks, and other such items, with gold and jewels piled up like mountains, for inexhaustible use in the world.

If a country or an individual practices according to my original vow, then all the people in the land will have their homes adorned with wealth and prosperity as described above, with no one lacking or suffering. My original vow is to adorn all with treasures. If any doubt arises regarding the Dharma, do not give rise to it.


信之念。不成就一世之愿故。後世之果不定。好好以堅固之情歸於法。非忌傳授之德。我必日日時時加護念。圓滿世間第一妙樂之財利。如向所說繫念本誓。向寶壇前。作契印唸誦。屈左中指無名指。以大母指押彼二指甲。舒頭指及小指安心上。右手把數珠念真言。此名玉環成就一切所愿印。此契印末代愚學之妄不可記于文字。萬人中撰十人。十人之中撰一人。許可(矣)。

【現代漢語翻譯】 現代漢語譯本: 關於信心的念頭。如果不能在一世中成就願望,那麼來世的果報就無法確定。所以要以堅固的信念歸向佛法,不要嫉妒傳授佛法的功德。我必定日日時時加以護念,圓滿世間第一美妙快樂的財富利益。如之前所說,要繫念根本誓言,在寶壇前,結契印並唸誦真言。彎曲左手中指和無名指,用大拇指按壓這兩個手指的指甲,伸直食指和小指,放在心上。右手拿著念珠唸誦真言。這叫做玉環成就一切所愿印。這個契印末法時代愚昧的學習者不可以記錄在文字上。一萬人中選擇十人,十人之中選擇一人,才可以許可傳授。

【English Translation】 English version: Regarding the thought of faith. If one's wishes are not fulfilled in this lifetime, the consequences in the next life are uncertain. Therefore, one should turn to the Dharma with steadfast faith and not be jealous of the merit of transmitting the Dharma. I will surely protect and remember you day and night, fulfilling the most wonderful and joyful wealth and benefits in the world. As previously mentioned, keep in mind the fundamental vows, and in front of the treasure altar, form the mudra and recite the mantra. Bend the left middle and ring fingers, pressing the fingernails of these two fingers with the thumb, extend the index and little fingers, and place them on the heart. Hold a rosary in the right hand and recite the mantra. This is called the 'Jade Ring Fulfilling All Wishes Mudra'. This mudra should not be recorded in writing by foolish learners in the degenerate age. Select ten people out of ten thousand, and one person out of ten, to be permitted to receive it.
