爾時大吉祥 最勝金剛手 具一切功德 能調難調者 三界中最勝 最尊大無畏 諸秘密部中 自在為主宰 正智蓮華目 眉相復如蓮 于佛世尊前 戲擲金剛杵 復于須臾間 出現無邊數 金剛杵圍繞 當戲擲杵時 即有俱胝眾 金剛光照曜 面現顰眉相 勇猛大無畏 威德復殊勝 調伏於一切 具悲智方便 自利利世間 身心大歡喜 得最上妙樂 復現忿怒相 佛世尊所作 一切皆攝受 普獲于利樂 是時金剛手 頂禮正覺尊 釋迦牟尼佛 合掌而白言 一切眾生類 愚沒生死泥 起煩惱疑惑 無由能解脫 愿哀愍利樂 我及諸眾生 令如理所得 了知幻化網 佛為世間師 愿宣說正法 利樂諸眾生 令得無上果 諸佛大三昧 最上真實智 能了別眾生 諸根欲性等 世尊正智眾 現烏瑟膩沙 妙德真實智 最上自然智 了達甚深義

爾時大吉祥,最勝金剛手(Vajrapani,佛教護法神), 具一切功德,能調難調者。 三界中最勝,最尊大無畏, 諸秘密部中,自在為主宰。 正智蓮華目,眉相復如蓮, 于佛世尊前,戲擲金剛杵(vajra,一種象徵堅定和力量的法器)。 復于須臾間,出現無邊數 金剛杵圍繞,當戲擲杵時, 即有俱胝眾,金剛光照曜, 面現顰眉相,勇猛大無畏, 威德復殊勝,調伏於一切, 具悲智方便,自利利世間, 身心大歡喜,得最上妙樂, 復現忿怒相,佛世尊所作, 一切皆攝受,普獲于利樂。 是時金剛手,頂禮正覺尊 釋迦牟尼佛(Sakyamuni Buddha,佛教創始人),合掌而白言: 『一切眾生類,愚沒生死泥, 起煩惱疑惑,無由能解脫, 愿哀愍利樂,我及諸眾生, 令如理所得,了知幻化網。 佛為世間師,愿宣說正法, 利樂諸眾生,令得無上果。 諸佛大三昧(samadhi,一種冥想狀態),最上真實智, 能了別眾生,諸根欲性等。 世尊正智眾,現烏瑟膩沙(usnisa,佛頂肉髻), 妙德真實智,最上自然智, 了達甚深義。』
【English Translation】 English version The Sutra of the Most Excellent and Auspicious Fundamental Wisdom, the Supreme Secret, and All Names and Meanings Samadhi Section Spoken by the Buddha, Volume 1
Translated by the Tripitaka Master Shi Hu, Great Master of Spreading the Dharma, Minister of the Honglu Temple, and Grand Master of the Imperial Secretariat, under Imperial Decree.
At that time, the greatly auspicious and most victorious Vajrapani (Buddhist Dharma protector), Possessing all merits, able to tame the untamable. Most victorious in the triple realm, most honored, greatly fearless, Among all the secret tantras, the sovereign and master. Eyes of correct wisdom like lotuses, eyebrows also like lotuses, Before the World Honored Buddha, playfully throwing the vajra (a ritual object symbolizing firmness and power). And in an instant, appearing with limitless numbers Of vajras surrounding, when playfully throwing the vajra, Immediately there were countless kotis, the light of the vajra shining, Faces showing frowning expressions, courageous and greatly fearless, Majesty and virtue exceedingly supreme, subduing all, Possessing compassion, wisdom, and skillful means, benefiting oneself and the world, Body and mind greatly joyful, attaining the most supreme bliss, Again manifesting an angry appearance, done by the World Honored Buddha, All are embraced and received, universally obtaining benefit and joy. At that time, Vajrapani prostrated before the Rightly Enlightened One, Sakyamuni Buddha (the founder of Buddhism), joined his palms and said: 'All sentient beings, foolishly submerged in the mud of birth and death, Arising with afflictions and doubts, without means of liberation, May you have compassion and bring benefit and joy to me and all sentient beings, So that we may obtain according to reason and understand the net of illusion. The Buddha is the teacher of the world, may you proclaim the Right Dharma, To benefit and bring joy to all sentient beings, enabling them to attain the unsurpassed fruit. The great samadhi (a state of meditation) of all Buddhas, the supreme and true wisdom, Able to discern sentient beings, their faculties, desires, and natures. The World Honored One's assembly of right wisdom, manifesting the usnisa (a cranial protuberance on the head of the Buddha), The true wisdom of wonderful virtue, the supreme and natural wisdom, Penetrating the profound meaning.'

【English Translation】 English version All vast meanings, unequaled meanings of tranquility, supreme and most excellent meanings, all the secret names and meanings in the great Yoga teachings, all parts of the sacred Samadhi, all good in the beginning, middle, and end. The Buddhas of the past have already spoken, the Buddhas of the future will speak, and the World-Honored One (Sakyamuni Buddha) of the present age now fully proclaims them all. Now, from this net of illusion, I (Joyful Vajra Holder) am born, skilled in holding the great Vajra, skilled in holding all mantras. As I have obtained the Dharma, I cherish and uphold it. With the most excellent and firm intention, abide in the secret heart of the Buddha. According to the desires of sentient beings, I vow to speak the most excellent Dharma, to extinguish afflictions without remainder, and to enable them to attain the most excellent wisdom. Thus, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani Bodhisattva, with palms joined in reverence, entreats and stands before the Buddha. At that time, the Two-Footed Honored One, Sakyamuni Buddha, emitted vast light from his tongue and face, universally illuminating the ten directions, purifying all evil realms. The Three Realms were illuminated by the light, and the Four Maras were subdued. Again, he emitted a beautiful Brahma sound, universally heard throughout the Three Realms, praising the Lord of Secrets, the mighty and wise Vajra. At that time, the Buddha said: 'Excellent, Vajrapani, most auspicious and supreme one, courageous Vajrapani, you, with great compassion and skillful means, extensively benefit the world, therefore you entreat me to speak the secret Dharma gate. These secret names and meanings are the fundamental wisdom of Wondrous Virtue, the most supreme and great auspiciousness, capable of subduing all Maras and the like. Now I shall speak well, you great Lord of Secrets, abide in the most supreme one-pointedness of mind, and listen carefully to what the Buddha says.' At that time, Sakyamuni Buddha then spoke this Dharma: Exhausting all the Mantra sections, the Vidyadhara Mantra section, the section on contemplating the Three Secrets, the most supreme section of the world, the section on both worldly and supramundane matters, the most supreme Mahamudra section, the Usnisa section, and all such sections, comprehensively encompassing all Dharmas, these are the secret names and meanings. The six great Vidyarajas, without duality, speak of the two, these are the phrases of the unborn Dharma, born from there, namely:

Furthermore, the Great Bright Mantra says: Om(exclamation) Vajra(two combined) Ti(exclamation) Kshana(two combined) Nukha Chhi(exclamation) Na(one phrase) Pra(two combined) Jnya(two combined exclamation) Jnya(two combined exclamation) Namo(exclamation) Rita(two combined) Ye(exclamation two) Jnya(two combined exclamation) Naka(exclamation) Ya Va(exclamation) Gi(exclamation) Shuo Ra(three) Ara Pacha Na(exclamation) Ya Te(exclamation) Namo The letter 'A' represents true wisdom; all Buddhas are born from this. It also represents various auspicious signs and is the meaning of the supreme letter. It represents the meaning of great birth and non-birth, transcending the limitations of food and language. Relinquishing the highest love and joy, purifying all verbal actions. It represents the highest increase and victory of greed, the root of sentient beings' attachment. It represents the highest increase and victory of hatred, the great enemy of all afflictions. It represents the highest increase and victory of ignorance; delusion is the obstacle to wisdom. It represents the highest increase and victory of anger, the great fury and great enemy. It represents the highest increase and victory of attachment, being entangled by various defilements. Thus, greed, hatred, and other afflictions are all of the highest increase and victory. This is a secret and wonderful Dharma gate; understanding it can lead to detachment from these afflictions. Holding the sword of great wisdom, severing the top of all afflictions. Manifesting a great form, a great body, great signs, and great power. Possessing great fame, great majesty, great vastness, and completeness. Possessing great desire, great freedom, great joy, and great pleasure. Possessing great love, great name, great light, and great illumination. Possessing all great merits, giving birth to great wisdom. Knowing great illusion, accomplishing the meaning of great illusion. Obtaining the great wonderful joy of illusion, recognizing the fundamental net of illusion. Being great wealth, a great benefactor, pure precepts, and the supreme holder of precepts. Possessing great patience, great wisdom, initiating great diligence. Possessing great meditation and samadhi, great wisdom and a firm gathering. Possessing great skillful means, great vows, great power, and a great ocean of wisdom. Possessing great compassion and equal Dharma, with great compassion constantly increasing.

【English Translation】 English version Profound wisdom and thorough understanding, Widely employing great expedient means to benefit beings. Possessing great supernatural powers and transformations, Swiftly delivering with great practice. Possessing great supernatural power and freedom, Endowed with great strength and courageous vigor. Skillfully delivering all sentient beings from suffering, Holding the great Vajra. Subduing demons with great and extreme wrath, Causing all beings to fear with great terror. Dispelling all darkness with great light, Holding the great mantra, the most supreme and venerable. Delivering beings with the Great Vehicle teachings, The Great Vehicle is the most supreme teaching. The light of the Dharmakaya (Dharma body) illuminates everywhere, Reaching the state of great tranquility, becoming the great Muni (Shakyamuni Buddha). The great bright mantra is extremely rare and precious, The great bright mantra possesses the power of freedom. Attaining the Ten Paramitas (Perfections: generosity, morality, patience, diligence, concentration, wisdom, skillful means, vow, power, knowledge), Relying on the Ten Paramitas, Purifying the Ten Paramitas, Expounding the teachings of the Ten Paramitas. The venerable one who is free in the Ten Bhumis (Ten Stages of Bodhisattva practice), Skillfully dwelling in the Ten Bhumis. Purifying the self with the Ten Wisdoms, Purifying and solidifying with the Ten Wisdoms. Possessing ten characteristics and ten meanings, Quieting the senses with the Ten Powers (of a Tathagata). It is the most supreme, true, and constant meaning, The ten characteristics are the most tranquil. Being far from all fabrications, I and Suchness (Tathata) are both pure. What is spoken is true and not false, Acting in accordance with the principle, without difference. There are no two kinds of speech or two kinds of language, All dwell in the true reality. With the lion's roar of no-self, Terrifying those who are attached to appearances. Attaining liberation in all places, The Tathagata has swift intention. Subduing all victorious enemies, Like a Chakravartin (Wheel-Turning King) with great power. Most supreme among all dharmas, Is the ruler and is revered and loved. Possessing great power and great wisdom, No teachings can surpass. Being free in all languages, Possessing boundless right speech karma. Expounding true words and true meanings, Expounding the Four Noble Truths (suffering, origin, cessation, path). Following the Sravaka (Hearer) assembly, The non-returning Anagamin (one who will not return to the desire realm), And the Arhat (one who has attained liberation), The Bhikshus (monks) who have exhausted all defilements. Venerable and possessing sharp faculties, The courageous Pratyekabuddhas (Solitary Buddhas). Although there are various kinds of births, They all possess the same true characteristic. All use the sword of wisdom, To cut off afflictions without remainder. Attaining peace and fearlessness, Skillfully dwelling in the true reality. Attaining perfect knowledge and conduct, Sugata (Well-Gone), Knower of the World. There is no self-appearance that can arise, Dwelling in the Two Truths (conventional truth and ultimate truth). Transcending the boundary of Samsara (cycle of rebirth), What needs to be done has already been done. Purely born from wisdom, The sword of wisdom is extremely fierce. It is the gathering of the light of the Right Dharma, Illuminating the world and beyond.

【English Translation】 English version: The Dharma Raja (法王, Dharma King, referring to the Buddha) is free in the Dharma, proclaiming the most supreme path. He distinguishes and accomplishes the meanings of all dharmas, free from all discriminating appearances. When the boundaries of these discriminations are exhausted, the most supreme Dharmadhatu (法界, realm of Dharma) will manifest. Auspicious speech, born of auspiciousness, great wisdom, produced by wisdom. One should generate the thought of correct wisdom; the two dharmas arise from this. Ultimately free from all appearances, corresponding to samadhi (禪定, meditative absorption) and attaining freedom. The immovable great sovereign, the supreme root of the Trikaya (三身, three bodies of the Buddha). The lord of the Panchakaya (五身, five bodies of the Buddha) and correct wisdom, the great freedom of the Panchajnana (五智, five wisdoms). The Panchabuddha (五佛, five Buddhas) crowns are wonderfully adorned, the Pancha-caksu (五眼, five eyes) are pure and without attachment. The most supreme venerable one of all Buddhas, giving birth to the sons of all Buddhas. Wisdom is born supremely, produced within the correct Dharma. You possess the wisdom of merit, the wisdom of Dharma, bringing vast benefit and auspiciousness. You are the great auspiciousness among auspiciousness, gaining widespread love and fame. You possess holy wealth, are extremely rich, and possess immense joy and happiness. You are skilled in understanding meaning, skilled in action, and your good name brings great auspiciousness. They believe they can attain liberation from bonds, reaching the unobstructed and peaceful Dharma. They believe they can attain peaceful nirvana, obtaining the supreme parinirvana (complete extinction). They believe they can understand the limits of suffering and happiness, and that greed and other such dharmas are extinguished. They believe the nirvana they attain is incomparable, without analogy, without form, and without attachment. They believe the nirvana they attain transcends all paths. Such deluded views are not true liberation. They cannot understand the subtle nature of the unpolluted seed. Pure, free from dust and defilement, free from all faults. Only correct wisdom can awaken to it, and only omniscient wisdom can penetrate it. All their consciousness and dharmas cannot be observed with dualistic wisdom. Free from doubt and discrimination, of one essence with the Buddhas of the three times. Without beginning or end, only the eye of one wisdom can perceive it. The Tathagata's wisdom arises from the crown of the head, of one essence and without defilement. You possess the great speech of freedom, the excellent speech, the supreme speech. You possess the incomparable lion's roar, unsurpassed and unequaled. You universally manifest bodies, bringing great joy, or manifesting the form of a garland of fire. Establish the great Dharma banner, symbolizing the ten directions of the world. A vast precious canopy covers the world. Compassion and loving-kindness, these two dharmas, form the great mandala. The lotus of great auspiciousness is freely used as a magnificent adornment. The supreme precious canopy and others, encircle and adorn. The Buddhas are the great rulers, the self-nature of the Buddhas' minds. The Buddhas are in great accord, the teachings of the Buddhas are the same. Vajra (Diamond) precious empowerment, is the master of all treasures. All Avalokiteśvara (the Bodhisattva of compassion), all Vajrapani (the holder of the vajra) honored ones. The vast minds of all Buddhas, the supreme intentions of all Buddhas. The vast bodies of all Buddhas, the true words of all Buddhas. The great light of the Vajra Sun, the pure root of Vajra. The Buddha Speaks of the Most Excellent Auspicious Fundamental Wisdom, Supreme Secret, All Names and Meanings Samadhi Section, Volume 2

This supreme accomplishment Dharma, can transform in the most excellent way, Manifesting various bodies, purifying all the evil realms. Giving all sentient beings, a lord and a refuge, Causing all realms of sentient beings, to universally attain liberation. Entering the battlefield of afflictions, becoming courageous and steadfast, Destroying those ignorant great enemies, completely without remainder. With a courageous heart without retreat, majestic and supremely auspicious, Manifesting a fearless appearance, causing all to revere and submit. Or manifesting a powerful body, with a hundred arms, holding various implements, Or making a gesture of stepping down and pressing the earth, manifesting a dancing form. Or manifesting auspicious arms, abiding in space, freely and without obstruction. Or standing on one foot, forming a great Mandala (sacred circle). Or extending one toe, surpassing the Brahma realm. One should understand that all these transformations, are of the same Dharma nature, without difference. Among all Dharmas, freely and without obstruction, is the most supreme first principle. Various symbolic colors and forms, are all created by divine power. All phenomena of consciousness, arise from skillful means. Various defilements of the past, form the distinctions of the Three Realms. That supreme emptiness, is truly unmoving. Like the autumn moon newly appearing, clouds and darkness all cleared and purified. The Dharma Realm Mandala (sacred circle), cannot be defiled by greed and other afflictions. The supreme Mani jewel, manifests indigo and dark blue colors, As the most supreme auspiciousness, adorned by the Buddha's manifestations. Manifesting divine feet, taking great strides, causing the Three Realms to universally tremble. All Samadhis (meditative states), with right mindfulness holding their own nature. Those Four Foundations of Mindfulness, etc., truly and distinctly discriminating. Opening the lotus of the Seven Factors of Enlightenment, fragrance heard in all places. Expounding the Eightfold Noble Path, perfecting the fruits of all wisdom. The Tathagata's ocean of merit, gives birth to all Dharmas. Universally causing all sentient beings, to achieve the path of perfect enlightenment. All

【English Translation】 English version Sentient beings are like the unattached, like empty space. The origin of sentient beings' thoughts, the swift and rapid minds of sentient beings. The faculties, desires, and natures of sentient beings, all these are different. Thoroughly understand the true meaning of the five skandhas (form, feeling, perception, mental formations, consciousness), see the purity of the five skandhas. All that is created by transformation, all that is transformed, all that is spoken by transformation, all abide in the true reality (the true state of things as they are). Those twelve links of dependent origination (ignorance, volitional formations, consciousness, name and form, six sense bases, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, becoming, birth, old age and death), all twelve aspects are pure. The teachings of the Four Noble Truths (suffering, origin, cessation, path) are awakened by eight kinds of wisdom. The true meaning of the twelve aspects, the truth of the sixteen aspects. The twenty aspects of perfect enlightenment, awakening to all dharmas. These aspects of all dharmas are all manifested and spoken by the Buddha. The Buddha appears in various manifestations, causing all beings to observe. In a single instant, manifest all samadhis (meditative states). In a single instant, understand all mind-dharmas. Proclaim the expedient methods of various vehicles (Buddhist paths), universally benefiting all worlds. Although manifesting and proclaiming the Three Vehicles (Śrāvakayāna, Pratyekabuddhayāna, Bodhisattvayāna), abide in the holy fruit of the One Vehicle (Ekayāna, the single Buddha Vehicle). The boundary of afflictions is purified, which is the cessation of all karmas. Having crossed the ocean of afflictions, abide in the state of correspondence with all dharmas. Afflictions and secondary afflictions are extinguished without remainder. Arise with the expedient of compassion and wisdom, benefiting oneself and benefiting the world. If all thoughts are extinguished, all consciousness-dharmas are extinguished. Cease the mental realms of sentient beings, transcend the minds of sentient beings. The minds of sentient beings abide, all mind-dharmas are equal. The minds of sentient beings give rise to joy, the minds of sentient beings produce great bliss. Accomplish the most supreme cloud, able to dispel the darkness of all clouds. The Great Awakened One of the three times (past, present, future), is a vast accumulation of merit. The meaning of the five skandhas in the three times, can be thoroughly observed in an instant. In an instant, one can realize the self-nature of all Buddhas. The unattached, most supreme body, is the true aspect of the body. Appear with various forms and images, like a great Mani jewel banner (a banner decorated with wish-fulfilling jewels). The Buddhas, the Awakened Ones, attain unsurpassed Great Bodhi (enlightenment). Proclaim the great mantras of the three families, free from the discrimination of words. The supreme meaning of all vidyā-mantras (knowledge-mantras), has no aspects such as words. The great emptiness of the five syllables, the aspect of the hundred syllables is also emptiness. All aspects are non-aspects, as well as the sixteen aspects. Without aspect, without movement, abide in the mind of the four dhyānas (meditative absorptions).

金剛手汝今當知此秘密名義。一切諸佛威力所持。是為最上大幻化義。諸咒法中大無能勝。最上白法圓滿清凈。乃至一切智智身口意秘密真實。能證一切如來正等正覺現前三昧。善入一切如來無上法界。一切魔力無能勝者。成就如來十力功德。出過菩薩所有十力。成就一切智智出過諸智一切法所歸。普集諸佛教無垢清凈。福智所生廣大圓滿。諸大菩薩以為眷屬。增長熾盛雖處一切聲聞緣覺人天剎中。隨順彼法而常安住最上大乘。出生菩薩無邊勝行。畢竟通達諸聖道法。自得解脫已。復能出生變化一切道行不斷佛種。具大智慧住菩薩族。攝受一切最勝語業。破壞一切諸外道教。作勇健軍降伏四魔得無能勝。又能普攝一切眾生。開示聖道

【English Translation】 English version Homage to the birth of all-knowing wisdom (sarvajña). Homage to the supreme net of illusion (māyājāla). Homage to the great play (mahākrīḍā) of all the Buddhas. Praised by all sentient beings, therefore homage to the gathering of correct wisdom. Furthermore, Vajrapāṇi bodhisattva, great wielder of the vajra. As I have spoken of the secret name and meaning, it is the wisdom-peak (jñāna-śikhara) of all the Tathāgatas, the wisdom-body (jñāna-kāya) of all the Tathāgatas, born from the fundamental correct wisdom of Mañjuśrī. It is the most supreme and unique merit of all the Buddhas, pure and complete. It is the supreme praise, the dharma of great bliss (mahāsukha-dharma), the supreme meaning of vast miraculous power and majesty. The secret purity of body, speech, and mind, the perfections (pāramitā) and the merits of the bhūmis, pure and complete, without any loss or diminution. All the dharmas born of merit and wisdom are complete and pure. This name is the supreme and incomparable excellent meaning. Because of this dharma, all who have not attained the fruit will attain it. This is the supreme meaning of the dhāraṇī of the unsurpassed Dharma-eye of all the Tathāgatas, truly knowing and rightly proclaiming. Vajrapāṇi, you should now know that this secret name and meaning is upheld by the power of all the Buddhas, and is the supreme meaning of great illusion. Among all mantras, it is great and invincible. It is the supreme white dharma, complete and pure, even to the secret truth of body, speech, and mind of all-knowing wisdom (sarvajñātā), capable of realizing the perfect enlightenment (samyak-saṃbuddha) of all the Tathāgatas in the present samādhi. It is good at entering the unsurpassed Dharma-realm (dharmadhātu) of all the Tathāgatas. All demonic forces cannot overcome it, accomplishing the ten powers of the Tathāgata. It surpasses all the ten powers of the Bodhisattvas, accomplishing all-knowing wisdom, surpassing all wisdoms, the place where all dharmas return. It universally gathers all the Buddha's teachings, immaculate and pure, born of merit and wisdom, vast and complete. The great Bodhisattvas are its retinue, increasing and flourishing, although dwelling in the lands of all Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and gods (deva), it conforms to their dharma, but constantly abides in the supreme Mahāyāna. It gives birth to the Bodhisattva's boundless excellent practices, ultimately penetrating all the holy Dharma-paths. Having attained liberation oneself, it can also give birth to and transform all the paths of practice, continuously maintaining the Buddha-seed. Possessing great wisdom, it abides in the Bodhisattva lineage, embracing all the most excellent speech-karma, destroying all the teachings of the heretics. Acting as a brave and strong army, it subdues the four māras, attaining invincibility. Furthermore, it can universally embrace all sentient beings, revealing the holy path.
出生一切法。常住三摩地行四梵行。而於禪那心住一境。成就瑜伽身語意業已。得斷盡一切煩惱及隨煩惱。即能離系一切結縛。大智所解脫。寂靜一切心。止息一切障。斷滅一切見。遠離一切相。能閉一切不善趣門。于實諦道皆悉解脫摧生死輪。轉大法輪立大法幢。安住如來廣大法教。隨順機宜宣說諸法。速疾成就秘密行門。觀察一切菩薩自性。圓滿智慧波羅蜜門。覺了一切菩薩空性。證悟一切無二解脫。出生一切波羅蜜法。通達一切波羅蜜法。圓滿清凈一切地位。此秘密名義總攝聲聞四聖諦法。及彼四念處乃至八聖道法。如是諸法差別。而以一心覺了無二。是名圓滿諸佛功德。

【English Translation】 English version: Giving rise to all dharmas (laws/phenomena). Constantly abiding in samādhi (a state of meditative concentration), practicing the four brahmavihāras (divine abodes: loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity). In dhyāna (meditation), the mind dwells on a single object. Having accomplished the body, speech, and mind actions of yoga (union), one exhausts all kleśas (afflictions) and upakleśas (secondary afflictions). One is able to liberate all saṃyojanas (fetters). Liberated by great wisdom, pacifying all minds, ceasing all obstacles, cutting off all dṛṣṭis (views), distancing oneself from all lakṣaṇas (signs/characteristics). Able to close the doors to all durgatis (evil destinies), in the true path of reality, all are liberated, destroying the wheel of saṃsāra (cyclic existence), turning the dharma-cakra (wheel of dharma), establishing the dharma-dhvaja (banner of dharma), abiding in the vast teachings of the tathāgata (Buddha). According to the capacity of beings, expounding the dharmas, quickly accomplishing the secret practices, observing the self-nature of all bodhisattvas (enlightenment beings), perfecting the gate of prajñāpāramitā (perfection of wisdom), realizing the śūnyatā (emptiness) of all bodhisattvas, attaining all non-dual advaita-vimoksha (liberation), giving rise to all pāramitā dharmas, comprehending all pāramitā dharmas, perfectly purifying all stages. This secret name encompasses the four āryasatyas (noble truths) of the śrāvakas (listeners), and the four smṛtyupasthānas (establishments of mindfulness) up to the āryāṣṭāṅgamārga (noble eightfold path). Although these dharmas are different, with one mind, one realizes non-duality. This is called perfecting the merits of all Buddhas. Furthermore, Vajrapāṇi Bodhisattva, the great Mahāvajradhara (Vajra Holder). This secret name is the most excellent practice for accomplishing the body, speech, and mind actions of all beings, pacifying all sinful dharmas of beings, purifying all evil destinies, cutting off all karma-avaraṇas (karmic obscurations), never again receiving birth in the eight aṣṭa-akṣaṇas (unfavorable conditions), pacifying the eight mahābhaya (great fears), destroying all evil dreams and inauspiciousness, not arising any unwholesome thoughts, destroying all extremely evil realms, distancing oneself from all māra-karmas (demonic actions), all irrational thoughts do not arise even for a moment, cutting off all ego-clinging views, not giving rise to any sorrowful afflictions, increasing all kuśala-mūlas (roots of goodness), abiding in the truth of the mind of all tathāgatas, the secret truth of all bodhisattvas, the secret truth of all śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas (solitary realizers), the truth of all mudrās (hand gestures) and mantras (sacred syllables), according with all right speech, mindfulness, and clear comprehension. This dharma can also, in this present life, increase wisdom without any diseases, possessing complete strength and power, wealth, happiness, and freedom, auspiciousness, purity, increasing good dharmas, and obtaining great fame.
稱歌詠贊嘆人所愛樂。此秘密法有大利益。息除一切疾病大怖。一切邪妄使令真實。一切不善相皆令善相。一切不勝悉使殊勝一切不祥而令吉祥。諸無主者為作主宰。諸無依者而為依止。諸無救者為作救護。無歸向者為作所歸。處暗暝者為作燈明。無所趣者為彼開示真實正道。沉沒生死海者為作舡筏真實濟渡。為大醫王療治眾病。以真實慧了性無性世智真實。照破一切癡暗盲暝。作大如意寶王隨諸眾生。有所求愿皆得圓滿。又此秘密法是為真實一切智智妙吉祥智身。所得圓滿清凈出現智身。真實五眼所得六波羅蜜。真實圓滿最上法施。無虛妄怖得十地法。安住真實福智所生。三摩地分圓滿具足。安住一法離二法相。真如實際離諸有色無別法性。善住禪那真如實際。色相清凈離諸妄相。如來自性正智出生。諸相大空色性無著於何有見。諸相離見即得諸法。是即真實秘密名義。謂從無二法性出生勝義。能持說者皆亦如是。

【English Translation】 English version: Sing and praise those things that people love and enjoy. This secret Dharma has great benefits. It can pacify all diseases and great fears, transform all falsehoods into truth, turn all inauspicious phenomena into auspicious ones, make everything incapable become extraordinary, and turn all misfortune into good fortune. For those without a master, it becomes the master; for those without reliance, it becomes the reliance; for those without salvation, it provides salvation; for those without refuge, it becomes the refuge. For those in darkness, it becomes the lamp; for those who are lost, it reveals the true and correct path; for those sinking in the sea of birth and death, it becomes the true ferry. It is like the great King of Medicine, capable of curing all diseases, understanding the emptiness of self-nature with true wisdom, and illuminating all ignorance and darkness with worldly wisdom. It is like the great Mani Jewel King, capable of fulfilling all the wishes of sentient beings. Furthermore, this secret Dharma is the true All-Knowing Wisdom (Buddha's wisdom), the Wisdom Body of Manjushri (Manjushri Bodhisattva's wisdom body), the perfect and pure Wisdom Body that appears, the six Paramitas (generosity, morality, patience, diligence, concentration, wisdom) attained through the true Five Eyes (physical eye, heavenly eye, wisdom eye, Dharma eye, Buddha eye), the true, perfect, and supreme Dharma giving, without falsehood or fear, capable of attaining the Dharma of the Ten Grounds (ten stages of Bodhisattva practice), abiding in the Samadhi (meditative absorption) born of true merit and wisdom, perfectly complete. Abiding in the One Dharma (Tathata), it is free from the appearance of Two Dharmas (duality). True Suchness (the true nature of things) is apart from all forms and has no other Dharma nature. Skillfully abiding in the True Suchness of Dhyana (meditation), the form is pure, free from all false appearances. The Self-Nature Right Wisdom of the Tathagata is born from this. All forms are empty, and the nature of form is unattached; what is there to see? When all forms are free from seeing, one attains all Dharmas. This is the true secret name and meaning, that is, the supreme meaning born from the non-dual Dharma nature. Those who can uphold and proclaim these will also be like this.
Furthermore, Vajrapani Bodhisattva, the great Vajra-holder, this fundamental wisdom of Manjushri is the Wisdom Body and Wisdom Crown of all Tathagatas, purely one and without duality, the supreme and most excellent secret name and meaning, the Samadhi portion. It is adorned with the great Mani Jewel Crest, and it is an invincible Dharma in all teachings. If there are practitioners of mantra who are fond of practicing this secret mantra path, they should choose an auspicious and excellent place, create a mandala according to their ability and time, place an image of Vairocana Buddha, make offerings according to their ability, and contemplate the enshrined image with the most focused mind.

Then, with correct verbal actions, three times daily, uphold, recite, remember, and contemplate the secret mantra. When reciting, the mind and speech should be in harmony, the words and sentences complete and correct, without any confusion. Generate faith and understanding, with genuine intention, focus on this secret mantra's practice. Having cultivated it in this way until proficient, one will obtain all desires as wished, understand the supreme and excellent meaning of all dharmas, attain unobstructed wisdom, possess unwavering faith without dualistic distinctions, and be fully capable of knowing the affairs of the three times (past, present, and future). Furthermore, all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will appear before them, revealing and giving rise to all Dharma gates, enabling them to illuminate and penetrate the self-nature of both 'I' (the five skandhas) and dharmas (phenomena). Such a yogi, having achieved this, can perform various transformations, manifesting as Vajrapani (Holder of the Vajra, a Dharma protector in Buddhism), the Great Wrathful King, capable of subduing all who are difficult to subdue, saving the world, and bringing great benefit. They can manifest various forms with great light. They can also accomplish all the practices of mantras, mudras (hand gestures), samadhi (meditative absorption), and mandalas (sacred diagrams), becoming the most supreme Great Mantra King. All extremely evil Vinayakas (obstacle-creating deities), even demons and their tribes, will constantly protect this practitioner day and night, always following them everywhere without revealing their forms, preventing all evils from taking advantage. They will also receive the blessings and compassion of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, establishing all actions of body, speech, and mind, abiding constantly in the true Dharma, being embraced by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, obtaining fearless eloquence in all dharmas, understanding all the dharmas of Sravakas (listeners) and Pratyekabuddhas (solitary realizers), and being able to contemplate the selflessness of all phenomena. All Brahmas (lords of the Form Realm), Indras (lords of the Desire Realm), Rudra (Shiva), Narayana (Vishnu), Kumara, Maheshvara (Great Lord), Karttikeya, Mahakala (Great Black One), Nandikesvara, Agni (god of fire), Varuna (god of water), Vayu (god of wind), Hariti (Mother of Demons), and even the protectors of the world in the ten directions, all these deities will also constantly protect this practitioner day and night, ensuring that the yogi is always safe in walking, standing, sitting, and lying down, constantly abiding in Samahita (equanimity), away from all distractions. 【English Translation】 English version: If Yeruozhi (Night Restraint) leaves his own dwelling or resides elsewhere, there will be Tianlong (Heavenly Dragons), Yacha (Yakshas, a type of guardian deity), Qiantapo (Gandharvas, celestial musicians), Axiuluo (Asuras, bellicose deities), Jialouluo (Garudas, giant birds), Jinnaruo (Kinnaras, celestial musicians), Mohuluojia (Mahoragas, giant serpent deities), and other human and non-human beings, as well as various constellations and hosts of ghosts, including Shengyaomuzhong (Holy Mother Stars), Qimuzhong (Seven Mothers), and even Yaochaxinizhong (Yakshini hosts), Luochaxizhong (Rakshasi hosts), Bisheqizhong (Pisacha hosts), and so on. Each of these will lead their retinues to protect the practitioner who cultivates yoga, enabling them to attain the most excellent body and complexion, strength and firmness, freedom from all diseases, increased lifespan, and great auspiciousness. Furthermore, Jingangshou Pusa (Vajrapani Bodhisattva), the great wielder of the vajra, states that if a practitioner of yoga can, for this entire secret name and meaning of the Sanmodifen Damani Baoji (Samadhi Section Great Mani Jewel Crest), diligently cultivate by reciting, remembering, and focusing on it three times a day, and also fix their mind on visualizing the sacred image of the principal deity, arising from the correct wisdom of Miaojixiang (Manjushri), manifesting boundless and various forms, then after such visualization, the visualized forms will soon appear. Moreover, they will see Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appearing in the empty sky in countless and various forms. Furthermore, because of the supreme merit of this Dharma, the practitioner of yoga will never again fall into any evil realms. In future lives, they will not be born into lowly castes, nor in border regions, nor with inferior faculties, nor will they share birth with those whose faculties are incomplete. Moreover, they will not be born into families with heretical views, nor will they be born in lands that are not Buddha-fields, nor will they be born when a Buddha does not appear in the world to proclaim the Dharma. They will never be born in the heavens of long life, nor in the evil world of the five defilements, nor in times of famine or war. In every lifetime, they will be free from the terrors of enemies, thieves, and so on. Wherever they are born, they will not suffer poverty, and they will not be moved by fame or praise. In every lifetime, they will always be born into virtuous families, with complete and perfect physical characteristics, loved and respected by people in the world, constantly enjoying happiness and free from all worries. Wherever they are born, people will be delighted to see them, and their words will be sincere and trustworthy, and accepted by others. In every lifetime, they will attain knowledge of past lives, possess great wealth, have a large retinue, and increase endlessly. They will be fully endowed with the supreme merits of all beings, and they will also be fully endowed with the inherent merits of the six paramitas (Liuboluomi). They will cultivate the four brahma-viharas (Sifanhang) to perfection.

【現代漢語翻譯】 現代漢語譯本: 完全具足。正念、正知、方便、願力都得到具足。通達一切清凈的教法。語業自在,獲得大無畏。凡是面對辯論,言辭辯才都沒有障礙。又能安慰一切眾生,如同阿阇梨(Acharya,導師)師長一樣。過去所未曾聽聞的一切法門,乃至世間一切文章典籍,以及外道理論等,都全部通達。獲得大辯才、戒行圓滿、壽命長久。清凈圓滿,常樂於出家,具足各種禁戒。對於一切智慧永遠不會忘失。大菩提心堅固不壞。超出聲聞、緣覺的境界,也不樂於聲聞、緣覺的法。金剛手(Vajrapani)諸修瑜伽行者,獲得如此無量的功德,都完全具足,迅速成就大菩提果。這個秘密名義,又有無量無邊的大功德分圓滿具足。即使在無量劫中稱揚讚歎,也不能窮盡。
其次,金剛手菩薩(Vajrapani Bodhisattva)大執金剛者,諸佛如來以大悲方便出現於世間。對於這個秘密名義已經得到圓滿,由福德和智慧所生,成就阿耨多羅三藐三菩提(Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi,無上正等正覺)。普遍聚集一切佛的功德寶藏,沒有絲毫的法不圓滿。廣泛地為一切眾生,遍於十方剎土敲響大法鼓,普遍令眾生安住于無上正法。諸佛所說的諸法中之王,就是這樣的大明咒:
唵(Om)薩哩嚩(Sarva)達哩摩(Dharma)婆嚩莎婆(Svabhava)嚩尾秫提(Vishuddhi)達哩摩(Dharma)作芻(Chakshu)阿阿(Aa)暗惡(Ah)
一切法自性清凈,不生不滅,一切如來智身,妙吉祥清凈根本所生。就是:
阿(Aa)惡(Ah)
一切如來根本心。就是:
訶啰訶啰唵(Hara Hara Om)吽(Hum)紇哩(Hrih)
一切如來智頂,一切如來殊勝語自在,廣大語業一切
【English Translation】 English version: Completely endowed. Right mindfulness, right knowledge, skillful means, and vows are all fully possessed. Understanding all pure teachings. Freedom in speech karma, attaining great fearlessness. Unobstructed in eloquence when facing any debate. Moreover, able to comfort all sentient beings, like an Acharya (teacher) or preceptor. All teachings never heard before, even all worldly texts and scriptures, as well as external doctrines, are all thoroughly understood. Attaining great eloquence, complete precepts, and longevity. Pure and perfect, always delighting in renunciation, possessing all precepts. Never forgetting all wisdom. The great Bodhi mind is firm and indestructible. Transcending the realm of Sravakas (hearers) and Pratyekabuddhas (solitary realizers), and not delighting in their teachings. Vajrapani (Holder of the Vajra) and those who practice Yoga, attaining such immeasurable merits, are all fully endowed, quickly achieving the great fruit of Bodhi. This secret name also has immeasurable and boundless great merits, fully complete. Even if praised and extolled for countless kalpas (aeons), it cannot be exhausted.
Furthermore, Vajrapani Bodhisattva, the great wielder of the Vajra, the Buddhas and Tathagatas appear in the world with great compassion and skillful means. Regarding this secret name, they have attained completeness, born from merit and wisdom, achieving Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi (unsurpassed perfect enlightenment). Universally gathering all the treasures of Buddha's merits, with no Dharma (teaching) that is not complete. Widely for all sentient beings, throughout the ten directions, striking the great Dharma drum, universally enabling beings to abide in the supreme right Dharma. The king among all the Dharmas spoken by the Buddhas, is such a great bright mantra:
Om Sarva Dharma Bhava Svabhava Vishuddhi Dharma Chakshu Aa Ah
All Dharmas are pure in their own nature, without arising or ceasing, the wisdom body of all Tathagatas, born from the pure root of Manjushri (gentle glory). Namely:
Aa Ah
The fundamental heart of all Tathagatas. Namely:
Hara Hara Om Hum Hrih
The wisdom crown of all Tathagatas, the supreme speech freedom of all Tathagatas, the vast speech karma of all
法無垢虛空清凈法界智藏所謂。

爾時金剛手菩薩 聞佛說是秘密法 歡喜合掌從座起 頂禮釋迦牟尼尊 及彼諸佛賢聖眾 最上金剛秘密主 一切忿怒大明王 普伸敬已作是言 最上歡喜自在尊 善哉善哉能善說 慈悲利我及眾生 成就正等菩提果 佛為世間大導師 引示咸歸解脫門 宣說最勝清凈道 秘密瑜伽大教王 最上方廣甚深義 普為世間作利益 此即諸佛聖境界 一切如來盡宣說

爾時,金剛手菩薩(Vajrapani Bodhisattva)聽聞佛陀宣說這秘密之法,歡喜地合起手掌從座位站起,頂禮釋迦牟尼尊(Sakyamuni Buddha),以及那些諸佛和賢聖眾,最上的金剛秘密主(Vajra Guhyapati),一切忿怒大明王(Wrathful Vidyarajas),普遍地表達敬意后說道:
『最上歡喜自在尊(Supreme Blissful Lord),善哉!善哉!您能如此善妙地宣說,慈悲地利益我和眾生,成就正等菩提果(Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi)。佛陀是世間的大導師,引導指示眾生都歸向解脫之門,宣說最殊勝清凈的道路,秘密瑜伽(Yoga)的大教王,最上方廣甚深的意義,普遍地為世間作利益。這即是諸佛的聖境界,一切如來(Tathagatas)都已宣說。』

【English Translation】 English version: The undefiled Dharma, the pure wisdom treasury of the Dharma realm of space, so-called 'Ah (seed syllable)'.
Then, Vajrapani Bodhisattva, having heard the Buddha speak this secret Dharma, joyfully joined his palms together, rose from his seat, and prostrated to the venerable Shakyamuni Buddha, as well as all the Buddhas and noble assemblies, the supreme Vajra Guhyapati (Lord of Secrets), and all the Wrathful Vidyarajas (Great Bright Kings). Having universally expressed his reverence, he spoke thus:
'Supreme Blissful Lord, excellent! Excellent! You are able to speak so wonderfully, compassionately benefiting me and all sentient beings, accomplishing the fruit of Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi (perfect and complete enlightenment). The Buddha is the great guide of the world, leading and directing all beings to return to the gate of liberation, proclaiming the most supreme and pure path, the great king of teachings of secret Yoga, the most supreme, vast, and profound meaning, universally benefiting the world. This is the sacred realm of all the Buddhas, which all the Tathagatas (Thus Come Ones) have proclaimed.'
