爾時釋迦牟尼佛。觀凈居天宮諸菩薩天龍八部。告文殊師利言。過去十阿僧祇俱胝如來。皆于大聖文殊師利菩薩。發無上菩提心。說文殊師利真言教法。欲令佛法久住世間。加持國王護持國界。以十善法化導有情。今正是時汝當宣說。聖閻曼德威怒王。身乘青水牛持種種器仗。以髑髏為瓔珞。頭冠虎皮為裙。其身長。大無量由旬。遍身火焰洞然如劫燒焰。顧視四方如師子奮迅。說勝根本真言曰。

爾時,釋迦牟尼佛(Sakyamuni Buddha)觀凈居天宮諸菩薩、天龍八部,告文殊師利(Manjusri)言:『過去十阿僧祇俱胝如來,皆于大聖文殊師利菩薩,發無上菩提心,說文殊師利真言教法,欲令佛法久住世間,加持國王護持國界,以十善法化導有情。今正是時,汝當宣說聖閻曼德迦威怒王。身乘青水牛,持種種器仗,以髑髏為瓔珞,頭冠虎皮為裙,其身長,大無量由旬,遍身火焰洞然如劫燒焰,顧視四方如師子奮迅。』 說勝根本真言曰:

【English Translation】 English version No. 1214 The Holy Yamantaka (Wrathful Manjushri) Wrathful King's Established Great Divine Efficacy Recitation Method, One Volume

Translated by Tripiṭaka(三藏) Master(沙門) Bukong(不空), bearing the title of Kaifu Yitong Sansi(開府儀同三司), Tejin Shi Hongluqing(特進試鴻臚卿), Su Guogong(肅國公) with a fief of three thousand households, bestowed with purple robes, posthumously granted the title of Sikong(司空) and the posthumous name Dajian(大鑒), with the official title Da Guangzhi(大廣智), from Da Xingshan Temple(大興善寺), under Imperial Decree

At that time, Sakyamuni Buddha, observing the Bodhisattvas, Devas, Dragons, and Eightfold Divisions in the Pure Abode Heaven Palace, said to Manjusri: 'In the past, countless Asamkhya(阿僧祇) and Koti(俱胝) Tathagatas(如來) all generated the unsurpassed Bodhicitta(菩提心) towards the Great Holy Manjusri Bodhisattva, and spoke the Manjusri mantra teachings, desiring to make the Buddha-dharma(佛法) abide long in the world, to bless the kings and protect the national boundaries, and to transform sentient beings with the Ten Virtuous Dharmas. Now is the time for you to proclaim the Holy Yamantaka Wrathful King. His body rides a blue water buffalo, holding various weapons, adorned with skulls as necklaces, wearing a tiger skin as a skirt, his body is long, immeasurably Yojana(由旬) in size, flames blazing all over his body like the flames of a kalpa(劫) conflagration, looking around in all directions like a lion roaring with vigor.' He then spoke the supreme fundamental mantra, saying:

才誦此真言。三千大千世界六種震動。所有天魔毗那夜迦於世間作障者。所居宮殿皆大震動恐怖不安。皆來雲集頂禮大威德尊白言。唯愿哀愍令我無畏。

爾時威怒王白佛言。我今所說真言。十地菩薩聞此真言。不隨順教法者尚能銷融。況余諸天龍八部作障難者。先誦此真言滿一萬遍。則能作種種猛利調伏法。若有惡人怨家。于善人起惡意相危害者。應當鑄一金銅威怒王像其像隨意大小。於一凈室作三角壇。安像壇中。壇底畫彼人形或書姓名。像面向北。持誦者身著黑衣。面向南坐。結槊印忿怒勵聲。日三時念誦一七日。其惡人或患惡疾或患惡瘡或身喪滅。

又法畫彼設都嚧于貝葉上或樺皮上。畫了結槊印。按彼心上誦真言加持一百八遍。然後置像坐下。取熒惑日午時作法。又每日于中夜。以槊印按彼像心上。誦真言二十一遍

這時,威怒王(Vajrakila,金剛橛)稟告佛說:『我現在所說的真言,十地菩薩(Bhumi-bodhisattva,證得十地果位的菩薩)聽聞此真言,如果不隨順教法,尚且能夠被銷融,更何況其餘諸天(deva,天神)龍(naga,龍族)八部(ashta-bhaga,天龍八部)製造障礙者。先誦此真言滿一萬遍,就能施行種種猛烈的調伏法。若有惡人怨家,對善人產生惡意,想要加害,應當鑄造一尊金銅威怒王像,其像的大小隨意。在一間乾淨的房間里,設定一個三角形的壇城,將佛像安放在壇城中,壇城底部畫上那個人形,或者寫上姓名。佛像面向北方,持誦者身穿黑衣,面向南方坐,結槊印(Shuo mudra,長矛印),以忿怒的聲音,每天三次唸誦,持續七天,那惡人或者患上惡疾,或者患上惡瘡,或者身亡。』

又有一種方法,將那設都嚧(Satru,敵人)畫在貝葉上或者樺樹皮上。畫完后結槊印,按在那人畫像的心上,誦真言加持一百零八遍,然後將畫像放置在佛像的坐下。選取熒惑日(Mangala,火星日)的午時作法。又每天于中夜,用槊印按在那人畫像的心上,誦真言二十一遍。

【English Translation】 English version: Mukha (Face) Shabhuja (Six-armed) Shacharana (Mover) Rudra (Wrathful one) Manaya (Guide) Vishnu (All-pervading one) Manaya (Guide) Brahma (Brahma) Gharma (Heat) Nirdhvananaya (Cause to make a great sound) Mavilamba Mavilamba (Do not delay, do not delay) Rahu Rahu (Rahu Rahu) Mandala-madhye (In the center of the mandala) Pra (Enter) Veshaya (Enter) Samaya Manusmara (Remember the vow) Ra (Seed syllable) Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum Sphata Sphata Svaha

As soon as this mantra is recited, the three thousand great thousand worlds shake in six ways. All the deva-maras (demons of the heavens) and Vinayakas (Ganesha) who create obstacles in the world, their palaces shake greatly, they feel fear and unease, and they all gather, prostrating to the great and powerful Vajrakila, and report: 'We beseech you to have mercy and make us fearless.'

At that time, Vajrakila reported to the Buddha: 'The mantra I am now speaking, even if a Bhumi-bodhisattva (Bodhisattva who has attained the ten Bhumis) hears this mantra and does not follow the teachings, they can be dissolved, let alone the other devas (gods), nagas (dragons), and ashta-bhaga (eight classes of beings) who create obstacles. First, recite this mantra ten thousand times, and then you can perform various fierce subjugation methods. If there is an evil person or enemy who has malicious intentions towards a good person and wants to harm them, you should cast a golden or copper Vajrakila image, the size of the image is up to you. In a clean room, set up a triangular mandala, place the image in the mandala, and draw the person's figure or write their name at the bottom of the mandala. The image faces north, and the practitioner wears black clothes, sits facing south, forms the Shuo mudra (spear mudra), and recites with an angry voice three times a day for seven days, then that evil person will either suffer from a serious illness, or suffer from a malignant sore, or die.'

Another method is to draw that Satru (enemy) on a palm leaf or birch bark. After drawing, form the Shuo mudra, press it on the heart of the person's image, recite the mantra and empower it one hundred and eight times, and then place the image under the seat of the Buddha image. Choose the hour of noon on Mangala (Mars day) to perform the ritual. Also, every day at midnight, press the Shuo mudra on the heart of the person's image and recite the mantra twenty-one times.


。想彼設睹嚧在像底。並營從眷屬皆衰喪。又法先畫三角壇。壇中畫設睹嚧形。取佉陀羅木作橛可長四寸。橛頭如獨股形。以真言加持一百八遍真言。句中安彼人名。於此句下加之。便釘彼心上。一月于像前三時念誦。時別一百八遍。隨力供養焚安悉香。滿一月已設睹嚧即坐臥不安遠走而去。久後身患至死。持誦者起悲愍。為作息災護摩法彼則如故。

次說大心真言法真言曰。

對大聖像前作三角壇。誦此真言一萬遍。功行即成。然後取黑泥。捏作設睹嚧形仰臥。于腹中著驢糞。又取驢骨作橛五枚長六寸。一一橛各誦真言一百八遍。以二橛釘左右二肩。二橛釘兩髀。一釘心上。面南坐燒安悉香。誦真言一萬遍。其舍睹嚧即患病吐血而死。

又法對像前作三角火壇。護摩七夜。以棘刺柴然火。取苦練葉書二相愛人名。以葉相背。用蛇皮裹。以鼠狼毛為繩纏葉上。用一百八枚。于真言句中稱彼人名。誦真言一遍一擲火中。彼二人即互相憎嫌不和。

又法欲令惡人遠法。取烏翅一百八枚。揾芥子油於三

【English Translation】 English version: Thinking of that Śatru (enemy) under the (holy) image, along with his entourage and family members, they will all decline and perish. Furthermore, first draw a triangular altar, and in the altar draw the image of Śatru. Take khadira wood (a type of tree) to make a wooden peg, about four inches long, with the head of the peg shaped like a single-pronged vajra. Consecrate it with the mantra one hundred and eight times, inserting the name of that person in the mantra's sentence, adding it below this sentence, and then nail it onto his heart. For one month, recite in front of the (holy) image during three time periods, one hundred and eight times each time period. Make offerings according to your ability, and burn benzoin incense. After a full month, Śatru will become restless and uneasy, and flee far away. After a long time, he will suffer from illness until death. If the mantra holder develops compassion, and performs a pacifying homa ritual for him, he will return to his original state.

Next, the Great Heart Mantra method is described. The mantra is:

Om hrih stri vikritanana hum sarva śatrūn nāśaya stambhaya stambhaya sphata sphata svaha

In front of the great holy image, make a triangular altar. Recite this mantra ten thousand times, and the practice will be accomplished. Then take black mud, mold it into the image of Śatru, and make him lie on his back, placing donkey dung in his abdomen. Also, take donkey bones to make five wooden pegs, each six inches long. Recite the mantra one hundred and eight times for each peg. Use two pegs to nail the left and right shoulders, two pegs to nail both thighs, and one to nail the heart. Sit facing south, burn benzoin incense, and recite the mantra ten thousand times, and that Śatru will become ill, vomit blood, and die.

Another method: in front of the (holy) image, make a triangular fire altar, and perform a homa for seven nights. Use thorny firewood to ignite the fire, take neem leaves, and write the names of two people who love each other. Place the leaves back to back, wrap them with snake skin, and use weasel hair to make a rope to wrap around the leaves, using one hundred and eight strands. In the mantra's sentence, call out the names of those two people, and throw it into the fire each time you recite the mantra once. Those two people will then hate and despise each other, and will not be able to live in harmony.

Another method: if you want to make an evil person stay away, take one hundred and eight crow wings, dip them in mustard oil, and at three

次說心中心法真言曰。

唵瑟致唎(二合引)迦攞嚕跛吽欠娑嚩(二合引)賀

唸誦作此法時。誦此心真言印身五處。護身及辟除結界用若能每日誦一千遍。一切惡人怨家不得其便。令彼作惡法不成。咒詛𥜒禱悉皆破壞若見惡夢誦七遍惡夢不應。

又法結心中心印。遙揮設睹嚕方。其家國界災起疫疾旱澇。若欲解時起大悲心。遙想彼國界人眾互起慈心。相向如父如母如男如女。誦真言一萬遍即得災息。

次結根本印法。二手內相叉作拳。二中指直豎。頭相合即成。此印有

又有一種方法,結心中心印。遙指向設睹嚧(Shatru,敵人)的方向揮動。那個國家或地區的災難、疫病、旱澇就會發生。如果想要解除災難,就生起大悲心。遙想那個國家或地區的人民互相生起慈心,彼此相待如同父如母如男如女。誦唸真言一萬遍,災難就會平息。

【English Translation】 English version: Burn in a cornered hearth. Ignite a fire with thorny firewood. Perform Homa (a sacrificial ritual) for one night. Recite the name of that person within the phrases of the Mantra (a sacred utterance). With each recitation, throw something into the fire. That person will involuntarily depart, even if they are far away.

Another method: For those who wish to triumph in battle, take one hundred and eight blades of thatch grass, each twelve fingers in length. Anoint them with sesame oil, burn them in a triangular hearth, and ignite the fire with thorny firewood. Perform Homa for seven nights. Recite the Mantra one hundred and eight times. Recite the name of that general within the phrases of the Mantra. With each recitation, throw something into the fire. This will cause the enemy's army to collapse and bring victory.

Another method: Take six ounces of iron filings. Recite the Mantra, and within the phrases of the Mantra, recite the name of that person. Then, take a pinch of iron filings, empower it with the Mantra. With each recitation, throw it into the triangular hearth. Perform Homa for seven nights. That Shatru (enemy) will decline on their own.

Another method: Take a Khadira (a type of tree) wooden stake, four fingers in length. In a triangular altar, draw the form of the Shatru (enemy) with cremation ashes. Empower it with the Mantra one hundred and eight times. Drive the wooden stake into the Shatru's heart. Visualize oneself as the wrathful deity Mahāvajrabhairava. Step on the Shatru's heart with the left foot. Recite the Mantra one thousand times. Recite the name of that person within the phrases of the Mantra. That person will immediately perish.

When reciting and practicing this Dharma, recite this Heart Mantra, and use the hand seal to empower five places on the body, for self-protection and to ward off obstacles and establish boundaries. If one can recite it one thousand times daily, all evil people and enemies will be unable to take advantage. It will prevent their evil deeds from succeeding, and all curses and prayers will be destroyed. If one sees a bad dream, recite it seven times, and the bad dream will not come to pass.

Another method: Form the Heart-Essence Seal. Wave it remotely towards the direction of the Shatru (enemy). Disasters, plagues, droughts, and floods will arise in that country or territory. If one wishes to resolve the disasters, generate great compassion. Remotely visualize the people of that country or territory mutually generating loving-kindness, treating each other like fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters. Next, the heart mudra (心印) method is explained. It is the same as the previous fundamental mudra (根本印). Extend the two index fingers and bend them into the shape of a three-pronged spear. By forming this mudra (印) and reciting the mantra (真言), all endeavors will be accomplished.

Furthermore, if one wishes to subdue an enemy (Śatru, 舍睹嚕), one should construct a triangular mandala (壇城). Within the mandala (壇城), draw Mahāvajrabhairava (大威德明王), with a body the color of dark clouds, flames emanating from the entire body, and holding various colored implements and weapons. Place the three seed syllables (字) on the body: Om (唵) on the crown of the head, Ah (惡) on the mouth, and Hūṃ (吽) on the heart. Having accomplished the deity's form, place all the enemies (Śatru, 舍睹嚕) beneath the image, along with their names. In front of the image, one should also arrange oneself in the same manner as the image in the mandala (壇城). The power and efficacy will be exactly the same. 每誦一遍,就將香藥投入火中一次,全部投完一百零八枚后,所祈求的願望都能實現。這時,聖者不會違背原本的誓言,迅速來到道場,為你加持庇護。如果做了惡夢,由於加持的力量,都會不再出現,最終消滅。修行者完成前面的各種法事和唸誦后,應當離開道場,生起慈悲心,不要產生怨恨和傷害。隨意經行,轉讀大乘經典。

Furthermore, within the aforementioned twenty-three kinds of luminous contemplations, add the luminous contemplation of blessing five-colored powders. After establishing the mandala, one should use this mantra to bless the powder for encircling the mandala. After completing the recitation of the mantra for sending off the holy beings, when desiring to leave the practice site, one should recite this mantra to dismiss the holy assembly.

Moreover, a method to swiftly invoke the arrival of holy beings, quickly remove obstacles, and fulfill original vows: Establish a triangular fire altar as before. Take benzoin, white mustard seeds, and Manusarudhirā (human blood), mix with various poisons, red mustard seeds, and oil. Take one hundred and eight leaves of the single-tube grass, and one hundred and eight branches of the bitter neem tree, sharpened at both ends to a length of twelve fingers. Use them to dip in oil and recite the mantra as follows:
