夫真言教源。自護摩法無上也。此之中秘密教愛法也。為求末世眾生敬愛。說一印真言。能利眾生故。先說像。其身六面六臂六足。乘水牛。所謂六面。頂上三面中面菩薩形柔軟也。其面頂有阿彌陀佛。又六臂。所謂左一鉾二輪索三弓。右一劍二寶杖三箭。以彼弓鑄勢也。又六足。左三足立輪。右三足上彼輪下有木牛。牛四足立花座。復像背有火焰。如虹。又如吠琉璃。其火中當像右足下有寅神。次第十二神但未申對面。複次壇水圓壇。其壇中置輪可修行。增益敬愛息災調伏。皆可置。其所口傳又當身口傳。

複次說一印口傳。咒曰。

唵瑟底哩迦羅嚕婆吽欠娑呵

以是印咒向佛。成普禮及次第觀念。

復說曼陀羅法。內院明王。明王背有法形文殊。外院東方召請童子。其形如童子。髻上生登以弓矢。東南方計設尼童子如上形。左拳右把三角鉾。左拳置腰。南方救護慧童子如上形。左投輪。右施無畏右足上。西南方烏波計設尼童子如上形。二手花缽。西方光綱童子。左拳置腰。右捧孔雀尾。西北方地慧童子。右手把

真言教的根源,在於護摩(Homa,火供)之法,這是無上的。這其中有秘密的敬愛之法。爲了救度末世的眾生,使他們得到敬愛,所以宣說一個手印和真言,以利益眾生。首先描述本尊的形象:六面六臂六足,乘坐水牛。所謂的六面,頂上的三面和中間的面都是菩薩的柔和形象。在頂面有阿彌陀佛(Amitābha)。又有六臂,左手分別拿著:一、鉾(矛);二、輪(chakra,法輪);三、索(繩索)。右手分別拿著:一、劍(khadga);二、寶杖;三、箭。以那弓箭作射箭的姿勢。又有六足,左邊的三足踩在輪上,右邊的三足踩在輪下的木牛上。牛的四足立在花座上。本尊像的背後有火焰,像彩虹一樣,又像吠琉璃(Vaidūrya,一種寶石)。在火焰中,本尊像的右足下有寅神(十二生肖中的虎神),依次排列十二神,但未申(猴)與本尊對面。其次是壇法,建立圓形水壇。在壇中設定輪,可以用來修行增益、敬愛、息災、調伏等法。這些都是口傳的秘密,應當身口相傳。

【English Translation】 English version: Mañjuśrī Yamāntaka Vashya Secret Art, the Wish-Fulfilling Method

The origin of the Mantra teachings lies in the Homa (fire offering) ritual, which is supreme. Within this, there is the secret teaching of the Vashya (enchantment/love) method. To save sentient beings in the degenerate age and enable them to receive respect and love, a single mudra (hand gesture) and mantra are taught to benefit beings. First, describe the deity's image: six faces, six arms, and six legs, riding a water buffalo. The six faces are described as follows: the three faces on the top and the middle face are gentle bodhisattva forms. On the top face is Amitābha (Buddha of Infinite Light). There are also six arms. The left hands hold: 1. a halberd (鉾); 2. a wheel (chakra); 3. a rope (索). The right hands hold: 1. a sword (khadga); 2. a jeweled staff; 3. an arrow. The bow and arrow are held in a shooting posture. There are also six legs. The three left legs stand on wheels, and the three right legs stand on a wooden buffalo below the wheels. The buffalo's four legs stand on a lotus seat. Behind the deity's image is a flame, like a rainbow, and like Vaidūrya (lapis lazuli). Within the flame, under the deity's right foot, is the Yin deity (寅神, Tiger of the Chinese Zodiac). The twelve deities are arranged in order, but the Shen (申, Monkey) deity does not face the main deity. Next is the mandala (壇) method, establishing a circular water mandala. A wheel can be placed in the mandala for practicing methods of increasing benefit, enchantment/love, pacifying disasters, and subduing. These are secret oral transmissions, to be passed down through both body and speech.

Next, the oral transmission of a single mudra is described. The mantra is:

Om Śrī Kāla Rūpa Hūṃ Khaṃ Svāhā

With this mudra and mantra, face the Buddha, perform prostrations, and visualize in sequence.

Furthermore, describe the drawing of the mandala. In the inner court is the Vidyārāja (明王, Wisdom King). Behind the Vidyārāja is the Dharma-form Mañjuśrī (文殊). In the outer court, to the east, summon the Boy Attendant, whose form is like a boy, with a bow and arrow emerging from his hair knot. To the southeast is the Keśanī (計設尼) Boy Attendant, with the same form as above, left hand in a fist, right hand holding a triangular halberd, left fist placed on the hip. To the south is the Saving Wisdom Boy Attendant, with the same form as above, left hand throwing a wheel, right hand giving the fearlessness mudra, right foot raised. 【English Translation】 English version: Sam𦙶. Like Vajragarbha-rāja (King Vajragarbha). The Vimala-prabha-kumāra (Immaculate Light Youth) of the north is in the form described above: left fist placed on the waist, right hand holding a rope upwards. The Acintya-kumāra (Inconceivable Youth) of the northeast: left fist placed on the waist, right hand holding a sword in a striking-the-ground posture. Each youth's body displays five colors, standing on a wheel. Below each wheel is a lion. Thus speaking the Dharma, accomplishing the Dharma. Build a clean room on a high mountain peak, remain silent for forty-nine days, abstain from fire, and practice according to the Dharma. Recite one million times, then this Dharma will be accomplished and the corresponding attainments will be gained.
