【English Translation】 English version The Sutra of the Uṣṇīṣa Vajrapāṇi's Hundred Transformations
Translated by the Tripiṭaka Śramaṇa Ācāryājitāmitra (meaning 'Invincible Friend') from Northern India during the Tang Dynasty
At that time, Vajrapāṇi again said to the Buddha: 'World-Honored One, if there are good men or good women who uphold this mantra of mine and do not experience its effectiveness, there is no such possibility. If one wishes to destroy a mountain, take three 'sheng' of white mustard seeds and high-quality benzoin. In a mountain where one suspects there is treasure, take a single iron knife and draw a square boundary. Also, take a clean ear cloth and a censer. Burn the benzoin and first chant the mantra one thousand and eight times. Then, scatter the white mustard seeds in all directions, up to seven times. By performing this method, the mountain will collapse on its own. If there is treasure, the guardian spirit of the treasure will release it, and you may use it as you wish. If one wishes to dry up the sea, first chant the mantra one thousand and eight times. Make a dragon shape out of gold and copper and throw it into the sea; the sea will immediately dry up. If one wishes to make a river flow backward, take a benzoin and make an elephant shape, regardless of size, throw it into the water, and chant the mantra one hundred and eight times; it will immediately flow backward. To restore it to its original state, chant over a clean stone and throw it into the water; the water will return to normal. If there is thunder, lightning, poisonous dragons, sudden winds, or evil rain, immediately form the 'Stopping Thunder and Lightning Mudra'. Bend the middle finger, ring finger, and little finger of the left hand into the palm. Touch the middle joint of the index finger with the thumb. Chant the mantra. Point the mudra towards the place where there is thunder and hail, and it will stop on its own. If one wishes to have all ghosts and spirits come and submit themselves to be servants, take three 'dou' of water and put it in a copper vessel, and surround it with clean ashes. Then, form the 'Teaching and Subjugation Mudra'. Bend the two ring fingers into the palm, so that their backs are touching. Touch the tips of the two middle fingers together. 【English Translation】 English version: With the right hand's ring finger, bend it into the palm. Straighten the middle, index, and thumb fingers, keeping them upright. Use this hand seal to imprint upwards seven times. Then, step back seven paces, and imprint the mountain seven times with the same seal. All birds and beasts within the mountain will then be moved out. If you form this seal and recite the mantra seven times, imprinting the air three times seven (twenty-one) times, not even the smallest dust particle can pass through the air. If you wish to prevent someone from speaking, write down their name and hold it in your mouth. That person will be unable to speak; upon spitting it out, they will regain their speech. When reciting any mantra, one must first establish a mandala (altar). However, if reciting my mantra, there is no need for a mandala. Simply carve a Vajra Kilaya (a type of Vajra pestle), and in a pagoda or quiet room, spread fragrant mud on the ground according to the space available. Arrange various incense and flowers as offerings, and place the Vajra Kilaya in the center of the mandala. Recite the mantra one hundred and eight times, and the Vajra Kilaya will move on its own, or transform into various strange objects; do not be alarmed. Recite the mantra another one hundred and eight times, and the Vajra Kilaya will rise from the ground three feet, or five, six, seven feet, or even up to one 'zhang' (approximately ten feet). The practitioner must then take refuge, repent, and make vows. I will then manifest my true form there, and whatever the practitioner desires, they will quickly obtain as wished. I will then bestow the Bodhi Vyakaranam (prediction of future Buddhahood), and they will immediately attain liberation of body and mind. First, one must recite the mantra one hundred thousand times to completion, and then perform the practice. If the required number of recitations has not been met, there will be no effect.

If someone writes down this talisman and swallows it, it will prolong life, increase wisdom, and the effect will be very significant.
These seven lines of talismans: if someone seeks various treasures, writing this talisman with cinnabar and swallowing it for seven days, various wonderful treasures will naturally arrive. If seeking the wealth of others, you should write the name of that person below the talisman, and that person will immediately send the wealth.
These three talismans: writing them with cinnabar on the four legs of the bed, there will always be the Eight Great Vajras (八大金剛) protecting, not leaving for a moment. It is essential to keep the room solemn and clean, and do not let unclean things enter the room. Be sure to be cautious.

At that time, Vajra (金剛) immediately told the assembly, 'You should know that for you, wherever this Dharma is prevalent, we great devas (大天) should always protect those who practice this Dharma and help them achieve success.' At that time, Vajra (金剛) further said, 'If there are sentient beings who practice this Dharma, I will go to appear before them, and I will also grant their wishes, enabling them to obtain various transformations and various supernatural powers, and their actions will be without hindrance. You must always remember my original teacher, Sakyamuni Buddha (釋迦牟尼佛), and I will always follow them, enabling all Dharmas to help them achieve success.' At that time, after Vajra (金剛) finished speaking this Dharma, the assembly was filled with even greater sorrow and joy.
