爾時毗沙門天王。在於佛前合掌。白佛言世尊。我為未來諸有情等利益安樂。豐饒財寶護持國界故。說自真言。我此真言。如真多摩尼寶王能滿眾愿。世尊聽許我說。佛言善哉善哉天王。汝能愍念為諸有情。恣汝意說。
爾時毗沙門天王歡喜無量即于佛前說心真言曰。

這時,毗沙門天王歡喜無量,就在佛前說了心真言:

【English Translation】 English version Vaiśravaṇa Devaraja Sutra
Translated by the Tripiṭaka Master Bukong of Daxingshan Temple, who was the Kaifu Yitong Sansi Tejin Shi Hongluqing Su Guogong, with a fief of three thousand households, posthumously awarded Sikong, with the posthumous title of Dajian Zhenghao Daguangzhi, under imperial order.
At that time, Vaiśravaṇa (one of the Four Heavenly Kings, guardian of the North) Devaraja, with his palms together, said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings in the future, for the abundance of their wealth and the protection of the country, I will speak my own mantra. This mantra of mine, like the Cintamani Jewel King, can fulfill all wishes. May the World Honored One allow me to speak it.' The Buddha said: 'Excellent, excellent, Devaraja. You are able to be compassionate and merciful, for the sake of all sentient beings, speak as you wish.'
At that time, Vaiśravaṇa Devaraja was immeasurably joyful and spoke the heart mantra before the Buddha:
'Namo ratna-trayāya. Namo Vaiśravaṇāya. Mahārājāya. Sarva-satvānām aśa paripūraṇāya. Siddhi-karāya. Sukhenādāya. Tasmai namas-kṛtvā. Iyam Vaiśravaṇa hṛdaya. Mamāvartayişyāmi. Sarva-satva sukha-āvaham. Tadyathā. Om siddhi siddhi. Sumu sumu. Ca ca ca ca.'

At that time, Vaiśravaṇa (one of the Four Heavenly Kings, guardian of the North, god of wealth) spoke this mantra and then said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, I will now explain the method of receiving and upholding this mantra. First, take benzoin, white sandalwood, borneol, takara incense, frankincense, and storax, mix these incenses together, and offer them to me, Vaiśravaṇa. When inviting me, form the fundamental mudra, point the two tips of the fingers towards yourself three times, then recite the mantra seven times, and scatter the mudra on the crown of your head.'

行者唸誦常無間斷。乃至毗沙門天王子赦你娑。現童子形告持誦者言。汝有何事請召我父。持誦者言。我為供養三寶受與我財寶。童子赦你娑于須臾頃。還至毗沙門天王所。告父王言。持誦者求諸財寶。為供養故利益有情。毗沙門天王告童子赦你娑言。汝日日與金錢一百乃至壽終。其童子赦你娑。日日送金錢一百。與持誦者安於頭邊。其金錢異種香氣。先愿所得之者。除自受用外應行舍施。不應貯積而懷慳吝。常於一切有情起大慈心勿生嗔恚。以殊勝香花飲食燈明。于寂靜處如法供養佛法僧寶。兼復思惟而無間斷。為毗沙門天王並諸眷屬。念恩德故常應誦吉祥贊。令彼天王獲諸吉慶。愿毗沙門天王男女眷屬內外親姻輔弼。乃至使者及諸營從。國界有情佛所稱讚十種福利悉皆獲得。所謂一者凈信二者戒。二者聞四者舍。五者受六者慧。七者形貌八者力。九者辯十者色聲香味觸富貴自在。于佛法中而開法眼。證得聖果獲得甘露妙法。亦得三十七品助佛道法。持誦者每日作如是發願。毗沙門天王即生歡喜告自營從眷屬。汝等觀彼持誦者於我深生恭敬。

【English Translation】 English version 『Jie suo po (two combined) he (extended 10)』
The practitioner should recite this mantra continuously. Even Śaṇiśa (son of Vaiśravaṇa, one of the Four Heavenly Kings, guardian of the north), the prince of Vaiśravaṇa (one of the Four Heavenly Kings, guardian of the north), manifested as a child and told the practitioner: 'What do you want that you summon my father?' The practitioner said: 'I wish that you would grant me wealth to make offerings to the Triple Gem.' The boy Śaṇiśa returned to King Vaiśravaṇa in a very short time and told his father: 'The practitioner is seeking various treasures in order to make offerings to the Triple Gem and benefit sentient beings.' King Vaiśravaṇa told the boy Śaṇiśa: 'Give him one hundred gold coins every day until the end of his life.' So the boy Śaṇiśa sent one hundred gold coins every day and placed them at the practitioner's head. These gold coins have a special fragrance. First, it is hoped that those who obtain these gold coins should practice generosity in addition to their own enjoyment, and should not accumulate them with stinginess. Always generate great compassion for all sentient beings, and do not generate anger. Use excellent incense, flowers, food, and lamps to make offerings to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha in a quiet place according to the Dharma. At the same time, contemplate repeatedly and without interruption. For the sake of King Vaiśravaṇa and his retinue, because of gratitude for their kindness, one should often recite auspicious praises, so that the heavenly king may obtain all kinds of auspicious celebrations. May the male and female relatives of King Vaiśravaṇa, internal and external relatives, auxiliary ministers, and even messengers and various followers, as well as the sentient beings within the national boundaries, all obtain the ten kinds of blessings praised by the Buddha, namely: first, pure faith; second, precepts; third, learning; fourth, generosity; fifth, acceptance; sixth, wisdom; seventh, appearance; eighth, strength; ninth, eloquence; and tenth, the wealth and freedom of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Open the Dharma eye in the Buddhadharma, attain the holy fruit, and obtain the nectar of wonderful Dharma. One can also obtain the thirty-seven factors conducive to enlightenment.' The practitioner makes such vows every day, and King Vaiśravaṇa will be pleased and tell his retinue: 'You see how deeply respectful that practitioner is to me.'
He also told his son Śaṇiśa: 'The practitioner hopes to see me, King Vaiśravaṇa Yaksha (Vaiśravaṇa Yaksha, Yaksha form of Vaiśravaṇa), and hopes to close the gates of the evil realms. May all the excellent wishes he thinks of be fulfilled. May he have immeasurable hundreds of thousands of years of life, obtain the Cintamani jewel, and fly through the sky. Antarāna.'

【English Translation】 English version: One will obtain hidden treasures (nidhana). Whether man or woman, even a king, will be loved and respected by all. One will also understand the languages of all birds and beasts, and will obtain abundant wealth, forever freed from poverty. The practitioner should, on the eighth and fifteenth days of the white month (the waxing half of the lunar month), have an artist observe the eight precepts, bathe, and wear new, clean clothes. Take uncut white felt to create the image. Do not use hide glue in the colors of the painting. In the center, paint Śākyamuni Buddha in the teaching posture. To the right of the Buddha, paint the form of the auspicious goddess Lakshmi, with wide and long eyes, and a serene and peaceful countenance. Her head is adorned with a heavenly crown, and her body is adorned with necklaces and armlets. Her right hand is in the boon-granting gesture, and her left hand holds an open lotus flower. Once the image is completed, place it in a clean place and make offerings, using scented paste, flower garlands, incense, food, and lamps to make offerings to the Buddha and the auspicious goddess Lakshmi. 『假使有日月,從空墮于地,或大地傾覆,寧有如是事,不應生少疑,此法易成就,不假于齋戒,利益貧匱者,一切人恭敬,乃至壽命盡,毗沙門加持,遠離諸厄難,藥叉(Yaksa, 夜叉,一種守護神)將衛護,常隨受持者,若能持是教,諸愿悉成就,迅疾如射箭,諸王敬彼人,獲得無盡寶,千俱胝藥叉(Koti-yaksa)。』

At that time, Vaisravana (guardian deity in Buddhism, one of the Four Heavenly Kings), seeing someone reciting this mantra and making offerings to the Tathagata, had compassion for the practitioner and manifested himself, either in the form of a child or a layman, holding a wish-fulfilling jewel in his right hand and a golden coffer in his left, with a serene countenance, coming before the Buddha image. After bowing to the Buddha image, he said to the practitioner: 'What wish do you now seek from me? Is it to enter the Asura (demi-gods) cave? Is it to seek hidden treasures? Is it to seek subdued mercury? Is it to seek the love and respect of Antararaja? Is it to achieve realgar? Is it to achieve Anjana (ointment) medicine? Is it to achieve the knowledge-holding? Is it to fly in the sky? Is it to receive a lifespan of one great kalpa (aeon)?' Such wishes can all be fulfilled. The practitioner said to Vaisravana: 'May I be able to penetrate everywhere, obtain endless gold and silver, fame and merit, a lifespan of immeasurable kalpas, fly in the sky, and transform into various yoga (spiritual practices) freedoms.' Vaisravana said: 'As you wish.' At that time, Vaisravana, in order to further clarify the meaning, spoke this verse:
『Even if the sun and moon were to fall from the sky to the earth, or the great earth were to collapse, could such a thing be? You should not have the slightest doubt; this dharma (teachings) is easy to accomplish, not requiring fasting or abstinence, benefiting the poor and needy, with all people respecting you, even until the end of your life. Vaisravana blesses you, keeping you away from all calamities. Yaksha (a type of guardian spirit) generals protect and constantly follow the one who upholds this teaching. If one can uphold this teaching, all wishes will be fulfilled, as swift as a shooting arrow, with all kings respecting that person, obtaining endless treasures, and a thousand Koti-yakshas (ten million yakshas).』

【English Translation】 English version Protecting and upholding those who recite, it can fulfill all excellent wishes. Liberating from all evil destinies, if one sees Vaiśravaṇa (the Guardian King of the North). Kubera (God of Wealth) will bestow wealth, and one will obtain great wisdom. Even to the point of obtaining the divine eye, and a lifespan of koṭi (ten million) years. If a person with earnest heart, loves and reveres this teaching. One should seek accomplishment, there is definitely no doubt. Now, this body protection method, is spoken by Vaiśravaṇa (the Guardian King of the North). Due to this blessing, the mantra will swiftly be accomplished. Recite the protective mantra: Namo ratna-trayāya, Namo vaiśravaṇāya, mahārājāya, tadyathā, Om, jigi jigi, chaṇa chaṇa, khuṇa khuṇa, mahārāja, kṣa kṣa māṃ, sarvopadravebhyaḥ svāhā.
