那位童女見到我,對我說:『仁者應當知道,請聽我宣說穰麌梨真言,能消除世間一切諸毒。如果有人聽聞此真言,以及持誦我的名字,就不會被一切諸毒所害。』當時,童女為我宣說了此真言。我從她那裡聽聞后,常持此法,饒益有情眾生。我現在當說此真言:

【English Translation】 English version The Sutra of the Girl Rangyuli Spoken by the Buddha
Translated by the Tripiṭaka Master Da Guang Zhi Bukong of the Tang Dynasty under Imperial Order
Thus have I heard. At one time, the Bhagavan (World Honored One) was dwelling in the Jeta Grove of Anathapindika's Park in Shravasti. He was with a great assembly of twelve hundred and fifty Bhikshus (monks). There were also immeasurable Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas (great Bodhisattvas), as well as Devas (gods), Nagas (dragons), Yakshas (demons), Gandharvas (celestial musicians), Asuras (demigods), Garudas (eagles), Kinnaras (celestial musicians), Mahoragas (serpentine deities), humans, non-humans, and others, all gathered together. At that time, the World Honored One told the Bhikshus: 'I recall in the past, dwelling north of the Snow Mountains in the Youxiangzui Mountains, I saw a girl. Her body was adorned with the marks of a hundred blessings. She wore deer skin as clothing and used various poisonous snakes as necklaces. She led various poisonous insects, such as vipers and adders, surrounding her, always keeping them as companions for play. She drank poisonous juice and ate poisonous fruits.'
That girl, seeing me, said: 'O benevolent one, you should know, listen to me declare the Rangyuli mantra, which can eliminate all poisons in the world. If someone hears this mantra and recites my name, they will not be harmed by any poison.' At that time, the girl declared this mantra for me. After hearing it from her, I constantly uphold this Dharma, benefiting sentient beings. Now I shall speak this mantra:

The Buddha told the Bhikshus, 'If a person hears all the Dharanis, they will be free from all poisons after seven years. If they constantly uphold them, all poisonous insects and various poisons will not be able to harm them. If a poisonous snake comes to bite this person, the snake's head will break into seven pieces, like a fragrant orchid. If someone upholds this mantra method, they should first make offerings to the teacher with white objects, and then uphold it, and they will surely achieve success. Bhikshus, you should know that you must not recite this mantra in front of a snake, for the snake will surely die. You should use this mantra to bless the dead snake and revive it.' The mantra is:

爾時世尊說此陀羅尼已。告諸苾芻。我此真言能解世間一切諸毒。蟲毒魅毒蠱毒藥毒等不能為害。若有被毒中者。以此真言加持皆得消滅。諸苾芻此穰麌梨陀羅尼。於一切如來大會中說。真實不虛不顛倒語。如語不異語諸有藥毒咒毒蟲毒魅毒。欲來相害。能令卻著本所與者。令使諸毒入水入火入柱入壁。亦令入地。所有諸毒不令成毒。悉能除滅。若人受持此經日誦一遍。非但滅世間諸毒。亦能除滅身中三毒。爾時世尊。復說穰麌梨童女隨心真言及成就法。修行者欲成就此法。先斷五辛亦不食鹽不食油。斷語於一凈處。三時澡浴三時換衣。結印誦隨心真言滿一萬遍。則行法成就。復作一切事必獲成就隨心真言曰。

這時,世尊說完這個陀羅尼后,告訴各位比丘:『我的這個真言能解除世間一切的毒,蟲毒、魅毒、蠱毒、藥毒等都不能造成傷害。如果有人被毒所中,用這個真言加持都能使其消滅。各位比丘,這個穰麌梨 (Rang yu li) 陀羅尼,是在一切如來大會中宣說的,真實不虛,不是顛倒之語,如實之語,不是虛妄之語。如果有藥毒、咒毒、蟲毒、魅毒想要來加害,能令其返回到施毒者本身,令所有的毒進入水中、火中、柱子中、墻壁中,也能令其進入地中,所有各種毒都不能成為毒害,全部都能消除滅盡。如果有人受持此經,每日誦讀一遍,不僅能滅除世間的各種毒,也能滅除自身的三毒(貪嗔癡)。』
這時,世尊又說了穰麌梨 (Rang yu li) 童女隨心真言以及成就之法。修行者想要成就此法,先斷絕五辛(蔥、蒜、韭、薤、興渠),也不吃鹽,不吃油,斷絕言語,在一個清凈的地方,一天三次洗澡,一天三次換衣服,結印誦唸隨心真言滿一萬遍,就能使此法成就,再做任何事情必定獲得成就。隨心真言如下:

At that time, the World Honored One, having spoken this Dharani, addressed the Bhikshus: 'This true mantra of mine can dissolve all poisons in the world. Insect poisons, bewitchment poisons, gu poisons, drug poisons, and the like cannot cause harm. If someone is poisoned, this true mantra can be used to bless them and eliminate the poison. Bhikshus, this Rang yu li (穰麌梨) Dharani was spoken in the assembly of all Tathagatas. It is true and not false, not inverted speech, truthful speech, not different speech. If there are drug poisons, curse poisons, insect poisons, or bewitchment poisons that seek to cause harm, it can cause them to return to the one who administered the poison. It can cause all poisons to enter water, fire, pillars, or walls, and it can also cause them to enter the earth. All kinds of poisons will not be allowed to become poisonous; all can be eliminated. If a person receives and upholds this sutra, reciting it once a day, not only will it extinguish all poisons in the world, but it can also eliminate the three poisons (greed, hatred, and delusion) within the body.'
At that time, the World Honored One further spoke the Rang yu li (穰麌梨) Maiden's Mind-Following True Mantra and the method of accomplishment. Practitioners who wish to accomplish this method must first abstain from the five pungent spices (garlic, onions, leeks, chives, and asafoetida), and also not eat salt or oil. They must abstain from speech and, in a clean place, bathe three times a day and change clothes three times a day. They must form a mudra and recite the Mind-Following True Mantra one hundred thousand times, and then the method will be accomplished. Furthermore, whatever they do will surely be accomplished. The Mind-Following True Mantra is as follows:

我今復說穰虞梨印及觀行法。其根本印。以二手相搏如掬物勢。以二小指相併。餘八指各散開微曲即成。結此印誦前根本真言。加持自身五處。所謂右肩左肩心喉額等項上散印。次結隨心印。以右手五指散開。微屈如師子爪形即成。結此印誦隨心真言七遍加持五處。修行者作先行成就法已。欲作法除毒之時。觀想自身為穰麌梨童女。身綠色狀如龍女。具足七頭項有圓光。應想四臂。右第一手持三戟叉第二手執三五莖孔雀尾。左第一手把一黑蛇第二手施無畏。又想七寶瓔珞耳珰環釧。臂腳釧莊嚴其身。並以諸蛇用為瓔珞。想從一一毛孔流出火焰。作此觀已於被螫人前。結根本印及隨心印。加持自身五處。取一熟銅碗盛水。誦隨心真言加持七遍。以右手掬水打被螫人心上。所有毒氣漸漸銷除。即于真言句中增加此句。所謂。

即取凈土加持七遍。周匝圍繞被螫之人。一切諸毒應時銷滅。又法于被螫人前。結本印數誦吽字一字真言。或誦撲字一字真言加持。皆能除毒。若常受持此穰麌梨法。能滅世間一切諸毒。所求無不遂心。爾時世尊說此經已。時彼大會天龍藥叉人非人等。聞佛所說皆大歡喜信受奉行

【English Translation】 English version: Ṣa-vā-hā (eleven)
Now I will further explain the Raṅgayarī mudrā (hand gesture) and the method of contemplation. The fundamental mudrā is formed by joining the two hands together as if scooping something, with the two little fingers joined together, and the remaining eight fingers spread apart and slightly bent. Form this mudrā and recite the fundamental mantra mentioned earlier, empowering the five places on your body, namely the right shoulder, left shoulder, heart, throat, and forehead, and then scatter the mudrā above the head. Next, form the mind-following mudrā: spread the five fingers of the right hand apart, slightly bent like a lion's claw. Form this mudrā and recite the mind-following mantra seven times, empowering the five places. After the practitioner has performed the preliminary accomplishment practice, when he wants to perform the method to remove poison, visualize himself as the Raṅgayarī maiden, with a green body, shaped like a dragon maiden. She has seven heads and a halo around her neck. You should visualize four arms, the first right hand holding a trident, the second hand holding three to five peacock feathers. The first left hand holds a black snake, the second hand bestows fearlessness. Also, visualize her body adorned with seven-jeweled necklaces, earrings, bracelets, armlets, and anklets, and using various snakes as necklaces. Visualize flames flowing out from each pore. After performing this visualization, in front of the person who has been stung, form the fundamental mudrā and the mind-following mudrā, empowering the five places on your body. Take a well-fired copper bowl filled with water, recite the mind-following mantra seven times to empower it, and use the right hand to scoop water and strike the heart of the person who has been stung. All the poison will gradually be eliminated. Then add this phrase to the mantra:
Zuǒ-la Ṣa-vā-hā, Wei-shuo Ṣa-vā-hā
Then take clean soil, empower it seven times, and surround the person who has been stung. All poisons should be eliminated immediately. Another method is to form the original mudrā in front of the person who has been stung, and recite the one-syllable mantra 'Hūṃ' or the one-syllable mantra 'Phat' to empower it, which can all remove poison. If you constantly uphold this Raṅgayarī practice, you can extinguish all poisons in the world, and all your wishes will be fulfilled. At that time, after the World Honored One spoke this sutra, the gods, dragons, yakshas, humans, non-humans, and others in that great assembly all rejoiced greatly upon hearing what the Buddha had said, and they believed, accepted, and practiced it accordingly.
