三藏沙門善無畏譯
大聖自在天。是摩醯首羅大自在天王。烏摩女為婦。所生有三千子。其左千五百。毗那夜迦王為第一。行諸惡事。領十萬七千諸毗那夜迦類。右千五百扇那夜迦持善天為第一。修一切善利。領十七萬八千諸福伎善持眾。此扇那夜迦王。則觀音之化身也。為調和彼毗那夜迦王惡行同生一類成兄弟夫婦。示現相抱同體之形。其本因緣具在大明咒賊經。今為諸行者。略說壇法念誦供養等次第。若不知此法之者。于余尊法難得成就。復多障礙。故先可修此道。若有善士善女等。欲供養此天求福利者。取香木樹造其形像。夫婦令相抱立之。身長五寸象頭人身。身著天衣及腰裳夫鼻𦜏下。婦鼻𦜏上。四葉為座。造像已了。不得換價。在室房中勿置佛堂。大身咒曰。

南無毗那臾迦舍(皈命毗那臾迦),訶室胝謨伽沙(訶室胝謨伽),怛侄他(即說咒曰):唵,陀曳訶陀曳訶(速來速來),毗那臾訶(毗那臾訶),毗那臾訶(毗那臾訶),陀羅臾訶(執持),破哩陀羅臾訶(善執持),商伽羯室胝(商伽羯室胝),商伽羯室多(商伽羯室多),扇胝伽羅(寂靜),娑婆訶(成就)。

The Great Sacred自在天(Great Self-Existing Heavenly King)is the Maheśvara(Great Lord)Great自在天王(Great Self-Existing Heavenly King). Umā(Snow Mountain Goddess)is his wife, and they have three thousand sons. Among them, the fifteen hundred sons on the left are led by Vinayaka(Remover of Obstacles)King, who commits various evil deeds and commands one hundred and seven thousand kinds of Vinayaka(Remover of Obstacles)retinues. The fifteen hundred sons on the right are led by Senanayaka(Leader of the Army)holding good deity, who cultivates all good deeds and commands one hundred and seventy-eight thousand kinds of blessed and virtuous retinues. This Senanayaka(Leader of the Army)King is actually an incarnation of Avalokiteśvara(The Observer of the World's Sounds). In order to harmonize the evil deeds of Vinayaka(Remover of Obstacles)King, he is born into the same category, becoming brothers and a couple, manifesting the form of embracing and being of one body. The fundamental causes and conditions are detailed in the Great Bright Mantra Thief Sutra. Now, for all practitioners, I will briefly explain the sequence of the altar method, recitation, offerings, and so on. If one does not know this method, it is difficult to achieve success in the practices of other deities, and there will be many obstacles. Therefore, one can first cultivate this path. If there are good men and women who wish to make offerings to this deity to seek blessings, they should carve its image from fragrant wood, making it appear as a couple embracing and standing. The body should be five inches tall, with an elephant head and a human body, wearing celestial garments and a waist skirt. The husband's nose should be below the wife's nose. Use four leaves as a base. Once the image is made, it must not be sold. It should be enshrined in a room, not in a Buddha hall. The great body mantra is as follows:
Namo Vinayakaśya(Homage to Vinayaka), Hastikhamukhaśya(Elephant-faced), Tadyathā(Thus it is): Oṃ, Dhayeha Dhayeha(Come quickly, come quickly), Vinayaka Vinayaka(Vinayaka, Vinayaka), Dhara Yuha(Holder), Pari Dhara Yuha(Good Holder), Śaṅkha Khaśti(Conch Shell), Śaṅkha Khaśta(Conch Shell), Śānti Kara(Peaceful Maker), Svāhā(May it be accomplished).
This great body mantra is used for pacifying disasters and for love and respect.

是咒用增益福聚之法。

是咒用降怨調伏之法。
身咒印 二手小指無名指內相叉。二中指二頭指相重交豎。二大指並直豎。是名根本印。以此印印心額喉頂。成護身法。

The Heart Mantra says:
Om Kili Ghri
This mantra is used for increasing blessings and merits.
The Heart-Center Mantra says:
Om Ghri Ghri Hum Phat
This mantra is used for subduing enemies and taming.
Body Mantra Mudra: The little fingers and ring fingers of both hands are crossed inwards. The two middle fingers and two index fingers are crossed and erected. The two thumbs are straight and upright. This is called the Root Mudra. Use this mudra to mark the heart, forehead, throat, and crown of the head to accomplish the Dharma of self-protection.
Heart Mantra Mudra: The right little finger and ring finger hold each other. The middle finger and index finger are crossed horizontally and vertically. The thumbs are straight and upright. This is a simplified version of the previous Body Mudra. Use this mudra to protect and purify the offering implements and bathing oil.
Heart-Center Mantra Mudra: Make the Vajra (Diamond) binding with both hands (hands clasped inwards), placing them in front of the forehead. Recite the mantra and throw it towards evil people, enemies, etc., and they will surely be subdued.
First Mandala Method: Create a circular mandala of two cubits in length. Use cow dung (Ghee) mixed with yellow mud to make it. Prepare two sets of offerings, namely Argha water, scented paste, seasonal flowers, incense (benzoin, frankincense), radish dumplings, pure clarified butter and honey (Su-mi), seasonal fruits, milk porridge, and delicacies. Prepare two sets of each offering and place them on the left and right sides of the mandala. Separately, store one liter of pure sesame oil in a copper bowl. Recite the Great Body Mantra one hundred and eight times to purify it, then warm the oil and use it to bathe the revered image.
Mantra for Consecrating Water:
Om Anavaratani Bharini Naha (Recite seven times to consecrate the bathing water)
Second Method of Recitation and Offering: The Mother Buddha Heart Mudra, bind the hands inwards and place them in front of the forehead. Bring the two thumbs together, each touching the index finger. Mantra:

Next, the Lotus Mother Heart Mudra: Same as the previous Mother Buddha Mudra, but extend the right index finger back and forth. Mantra:

Then, bow to the honored image, confess, rejoice in merits, and request to remain in the world. Next, generate the thought-visualization: This Holy Sovereign自在天 (Lord of Freedom), is Mahā-vairocana-tathāgata (摩訶毗盧遮那如來, Great Sun Buddha), who expediently transforms and manifests this image to benefit sentient beings without merit. Those who generate this thought-visualization, take refuge in, and make offerings to him will surely obtain immeasurable blessings. Next, establish the Earth Boundary: Touch the ground with the Root Seal and recite the Heart Mantra (three times to welcome). Next, establish the boundary in the four directions: Use the previous seal and mantra to establish the boundary at will, and the four surrounding boundaries will be complete. Next, use the Pure Land Transformation Seal and mantra to bless and purify the land in seven places (the seven places can be seen at the end). Next is the Sending Carriage Seal: The two hands are bound inward, then open the palms, the two index fingers are straightened and touch each other at the tips, and the two thumbs pluck the tips of the two middle fingers. The mantra is: 『Om Dǔ Lū Dǔ Lū Hōng』 (three times) Next is the Summoning Seal: Like the previous Root Pledge, but move the thumb back and forth. 南謨阿莫伽部若摩尼缽頭摩婆悉利怛他伽多毗盧吉帝三曼多波羅沙羅𤙖(三遍)
即成遍滿法界廣大供具。
次唱四智贊 金剛合掌。當額並左右。週轉印。
次唱聖者讚歎咒三遍。印同前。

次作根本印。誦大身咒七遍。印身五處。禮大毗廬遮那如來(七遍)。
次禮伽多缽胝帝婆羅若(七遍)。
次唸誦。以匙酌油。灌其像身。一日之中七百遍灌之。平旦四百遍。日中三百遍。正灌油之時。至心慎肅勿生他念。每一百八遍終。讚歎供養。數數發願陳所念之事。若三日乃至七日。一切善愿隨意成就一切。惡事悉皆消滅。是自在天處他化自在天。

【English Translation】 English version Next, with a tranquil mind and clear thoughts, perform the offering ritual. Form the Vajra-clasped hands (金剛合掌), and recite the mantra: Om A-sa-po-ha (18 times) Then, place the revered image into a vessel filled with warm oil. Starting with the offering of Arghya water (遏伽水), perform each hand mudra (手印) in sequence. Take the offering vessel, reverently raise it above your head, and make the offering. The hand mudra involves forming fists with both hands, placing the offering vessel on top, and sincerely dedicating the offering with focused intention. The Arghya mantra is: Om Ganari Niangye Ye Soha The hand mudras for offering incense, flowers, and various other offerings are all the same. The mantra is: Om Hum Nari Niangye Ye Soha (recite each three times) However, the hand mudra and mantra for offering wine are the same as those for offering Arghya water. Next, form the Mani Offering Mudra (摩尼供印). Clasp the hands in Vajra-clasped hands, bend the two index fingers into the shape of a jewel, and raise the two thumbs. The mantra is: Namo Amogha Pujah Mani Padma Vajra Tathagata Vilokite Samanta Prasara Hum (3 times) This mudra transforms into vast offerings that fill the entire Dharma realm. Next, chant the Four Wisdom Praises. Form the Vajra-clasped hands, and rotate the mudra at the forehead, left shoulder, and right shoulder in sequence. Next, chant the Praise of the Holy Ones mantra three times. The mudra is the same as before. Om Gata Pati Shanti Soha Siddhi Maha Gata Pati Soha Next, form the Root Mudra and recite the Great Body Mantra seven times. Touch the five places of the body with the mudra. Prostrate to the Great Vairocana Tathagata (大毗盧遮那如來) (7 times). Next, prostrate to Gata Pati Deva Raja (7 times). Next, recite the mantra. Use a spoon to scoop oil and pour it onto the body of the image. Pour seven hundred times in one day. Four hundred times in the morning and three hundred times at noon. While pouring the oil, be sincere and respectful, and do not allow other thoughts to arise. At the end of every one hundred and eight recitations, offer praise and make offerings, repeatedly making vows and stating the matters you wish for. If you continue for three to seven days, all good wishes will be fulfilled as desired, and all evil deeds will be extinguished. This refers to Ishvara (自在天), also known as Paranirmita-vasavartin (他化自在天).
降游下界。風輪之纏淪其身故。用酒藥蘿蔔及油等之物。常持齋故暮時不受供養矣。其所獻之食咒師自食。色力福壽共得增益。
第三結鼻頓合法 若三日乃至七日。作法供養聖尊。于念愿事無感應者。更燒香發願啟白所念之由。取白線誦大身咒一百八遍。咒其縒線結一百八節。截於二分結二天鼻端。其印用商佉印。二手金剛合掌。左右頭指與大指各共相捻即成。結鼻之後。三日夜間。不得行他處及與他人共語。
第四調和法 其象頭人身瘺。有六辟牙折。絲鼻上。左手把刀。次手把果盤。下手把輪。右上手把棒。次手把索。下手把牙。若有忿怒之時。此像之前作小圓壇。設肴膳飲供酒藥蘿蔔歡喜團等迎請。二手合掌屈二頭指。捻大母指頭。咒曰。

【English Translation】 English version Descending to the lower realms. The wind wheel entangles his body, due to past causes. Use wine, medicine, radishes, and oil, etc., as offerings. Because of constantly observing fasting, offerings are not accepted in the evening. The mantra master himself eats the food offered (to the deity), and together they gain increase in physical appearance, strength, blessings, and longevity.
Third, the method of binding the nose. If for three to seven days, one performs rituals and makes offerings to the Holy One, and there is no response to the prayers and wishes, then burn incense again, make vows, and state the reason for the prayers. Take a white thread, recite the Great Body Mantra one hundred and eight times, and empower the thread with the mantra, tying one hundred and eight knots. Cut it into two parts and tie them to the ends of the noses of the two Devas (two deities). The mudra (hand gesture) is the Shankha Mudra (conch mudra): both hands in Vajra (diamond) joined palms, with the index finger and thumb of each hand touching each other. After binding the nose, for three days and nights, one must not go to other places or speak with others.
Fourth, the method of harmonization. The image of the elephant-headed human figure has six broken tusks. The silk nose (nose wrapped with silk thread) points upwards. The left hand holds a knife, the next hand holds a fruit plate, and the lower hand holds a wheel. The upper right hand holds a staff, the next hand holds a rope, and the lower hand holds a tusk. If there is anger, create a small circular altar in front of this image, set out delicacies, drinks, offerings of wine, medicine, radishes, and 'joyful balls' (sweet treats), and invite (the deity). 若欲降伏惡人者。自腳足下書其名字。一日夜不飲食。作禁縛印。誦阿毗遮咒。時別一千遍。印相二手合掌伏之。二中指直申頭相合。以二名指屈。二中指二小指申頭相合。以二大指按二中指上。以二頭指各屈大指上。大指上其大指頭指頭各動。用唵伽那波胝阿毗姤盧舍娑婆訶。
若欲停口舌者。取井花水。誦大身咒一百遍。咒水散擲彼方。口舌必止。凡諸念求事。皆以身咒心中等三咒隨意修念焉。世間事業無不成辦是為世法要道也。人倫秘術無功頓法豈過於此哉。我今搜求秘教奧藏傳於末後。愿也有心之哲。宜試慎勿妄傳矣。
