The Ritual for the Image of the Great Saint of Bliss, the Two-bodied Vinayaka Deva, One Volume
Compiled by Jingse
I now transmit orally from Hanguang. I create this secret ritual. The image of the two-bodied Deva King: the two Devas, husband and wife, should be made to stand embracing each other. Their length should be seven or five inches. Both Devas have elephant heads and human bodies. However, the male Deva's face is connected to the female Deva's right shoulder, so that the female Deva's back is visible. Similarly, the female Deva's face is connected to the male Deva's right shoulder, so that the male Deva's back is visible. Their heels are both exposed. Their hands and feet are soft, like those of a strong, plump, and upright woman. The male Deva's head has no hua man (華鬘, garland). He wears a red jiasha (袈裟, monk's robe) on his shoulder. The female Deva's head has a hua man (華鬘, garland), but she does not wear a jiasha (袈裟, monk's robe). Her hands and feet have yingluo (瓔珞, ornaments) rings. She also uses her two feet to step on the ends of the male Deva's feet. Both Devas have white flesh and wear red skirts. Each uses both hands to embrace the other's waist. The right hand covers the back of the left hand. The tips of the middle fingers of the two Devas' right hands should reach the middle joint of the back of the left hand's middle finger. This embracing image represents the love of the six places. The love of the six places: first, each uses the nose to touch the beloved's back; second, they join chests in love; third, they embrace each other's waists with their hands; fourth, they join abdomens in love; fifth, they step on each other with their two feet in love; sixth, they wear red skirts. This particularly expresses respect and love. If a practitioner makes and offers an image of the six loves and respects, this person will surely gain the respect and love of the king, ministers, consorts, concubines, and all people. Generate courageous faith. Do not give rise to a single thought of doubt or hesitation. The verifications are often very numerous. If you wish to practice the method of harmony and remove obstacles and difficulties, you should make and offer an image of the six-armed Deva. The image has an elephant head and a human body with six arms. The six arms: the upper left hand holds a knife, the next hand holds a fruit plate, and the lower hand holds a wheel. The upper right hand holds a staff, the next hand holds a po zhe luo (跛折羅), and the lower hand holds a rope. There is also a four-armed image. The image has an elephant head and a human body with four arms. The first right hand holds a Yue axe. The

【English Translation】 English version: A two-handed joyful Tuan Pan. The first left hand holds a tooth (or a vajra), and the second hand holds a precious staff. Furthermore, according to the 'Amoghapasa Krodharaja Avalokitesvara Sutra', the four-armed form is described as follows: This is the Vinayaka-vajra, whose image is that of an elephant-headed human with four arms. The first left hand holds a vajra, and the second hand holds a Yue axe. The first right hand holds a pasa (noose), and the second hand holds a trisula (trident). This image's ritual manual can be secretly selected and transmitted. This great Holy King is the transformed body of Mahesvara (Great自在Heaven). The secret Dharma says that because of the自在of the six supernatural powers, he is called Holy Heaven; because of the自在of wisdom, he is called Great自在Heaven; because of the accomplishment of respect and love, he is called the Dual-bodied Vinayaka-raja; because of the accomplishment of the five grains, he is called the Six-Armed Heaven. Moreover, as the sutra says, Mahesvara's wisdom is自在. When the Dragon King of the Great Sea rains, he can distinguish and count every drop, and he understands everything in one thought. According to this holy saying, because of the自在of wisdom, he is called Great自在Heaven. Furthermore, the images of the four-directional, six-armed Vinayaka are described: The Eastern Crushing Heaven, also known as General Wutai, has the form of a Deva (heavenly being), with an elephant head on top of his heavenly crown, holding an umbrella in his left hand and a sword in his right hand. The Southern Food Heaven, also known as General Yanjie, has the form of a Deva, with an elephant head on top of his heavenly crown, holding a rope in his left hand and a mala (garland) in his right hand. The Western Clothing Heaven, also known as General Dingxing, has the form of a Deva, with a dragon head on top of his crown, holding a bow in his left hand and an arrow in his right hand. The Northern Elephant-Headed Heaven, also known as Golden Ganapati, has the form of an elephant-headed human, holding a white crystal pearl in his left hand and a precious staff in his right hand. Or he may have six arms, as described earlier. There is also a six-faced, six-armed image, as the sutra says, this Dharma should be secretly transmitted (Manxian holds a precious staff in his right hand, and Aizi holds a trident in his left hand). The Ritual Manual of the Form of the Dual-bodied Vinayaka Heaven On the second day of the fifth month of summer in the second year of Kyowa (1802), this book was obtained from the Venerable Cijun of Chishaku-in Temple, and the national characters were collated and punctuated, and craftsmen were ordered to carve the blocks. Written by the monk Kaido of the school of Buzan.
