爾時那羅延天。在於香醉山頂。請魔醯首羅于自在宮中。供養頭面禮足。白魔醯首羅言。我所乘迦樓羅使者。能成辦世間所求事要。且不能速疾。唯愿大天為未來有情。說速疾立驗阿尾奢法。

時魔醯首羅告那羅延言。汝當諦聽。我為汝宣說速疾成辦使者之法。能作息災增益降伏敬愛。亦能于夜摩界往來使役。能知未來善惡吉兇成敗。旱澇不調鄰國侵擾。惡人叛亂種種災祥。若欲知未來事者。當簡擇四五童男或童女。可年七八歲。身上無瘢痕[病-丙+猒]記。聰慧靈利。先令一七日服素食或三日食。凡欲作法。要須吉日或鬼宿或歲宿直。甘露直直日最勝。沐浴遍身涂香。著凈衣口含龍腦豆䓻。持誦者面向東坐。身前以白檀香涂一小壇。可一肘量。令童女等立於壇上。散花于童女前。置一閼伽爐取安息香。以大印真言加持七遍。燒令童女熏手。又取赤花加持七遍。安童女掌中。便以手掩面。則持誦者結大印。二手合掌外相交。左押右虛其掌

當時,魔醯首羅告訴那羅延天說:『你應當仔細聽好,我為你宣說能夠迅速成辦使者之法。此法能息災、增益、降伏、敬愛,也能在夜摩(Yama,閻摩)界往來使役,能知未來善惡吉兇成敗,旱澇不調,鄰國侵擾,惡人叛亂等種種災祥。若想知道未來之事,應當挑選四五個童男或童女,年齡在七八歲左右,身上沒有瘢痕或[病-丙+猒]記,聰慧靈利。先讓他們吃一到七日的素食,或者至少吃三日素食。凡是作法,必須選擇吉日,或者鬼宿日,或者歲宿直日,甘露直日最為殊勝。讓他們沐浴遍身,塗抹香料,穿上乾淨的衣服,口中含著龍腦豆蔻。持誦者面向東方坐,身前用白檀香塗抹一個小壇,大約一肘大小。讓童女等站在壇上,在童女前散花,放置一個閼伽(Argha,供水器)爐,取安息香,用大印真言加持七遍,焚燒,讓童女用香薰手。再取赤花加持七遍,放在童女掌中,然後用手掩住她的面。這時,持誦者結大印,雙手合掌,手指向外相交,左手壓住右手,掌心空虛』

【English Translation】 English version The Avesa Method Spoken by Mahesvara Deva for Quick and Effective Results

Translated by Tripitaka Master Bukong (Amoghavajra) of Daxingshan Temple, who was granted the title of Grand Master of Great Wisdom, bearing the Purple Robe, and posthumously awarded the title of Sikong by Imperial Decree.

At that time, Narayana (Vishnu), on the summit of Xiangzui Mountain, invited Mahesvara (the Great自在天) to the Palace of Freedom, offering worship by bowing his head and feet. Narayana said to Mahesvara, 'The Garuda (golden-winged bird) messenger I ride can accomplish worldly affairs, but it is not fast enough. I wish that the Great Deva would, for the sake of sentient beings in the future, speak of the Avesa (entering into possession) method that is quick and effective.'

Then, Mahesvara said to Narayana, 'You should listen carefully. I will explain to you the method of quickly accomplishing a messenger. This method can pacify disasters, increase benefits, subdue, and inspire love. It can also travel and serve in the realm of Yama (閻摩), and know the future good, evil, auspiciousness, success, and failure, droughts and floods, invasions by neighboring countries, rebellions by evil people, and various omens of disaster and fortune. If you want to know future events, you should select four or five young boys or girls, around the age of seven or eight, who have no scars or [病-丙+猒] marks on their bodies, and are intelligent and clever. First, have them eat vegetarian food for one to seven days, or at least three days. Whenever performing the ritual, it is necessary to choose an auspicious day, or a Ghost Constellation day, or a Year Constellation day. A Nectar Directing day is the most excellent. Have them bathe their bodies thoroughly, apply fragrance, wear clean clothes, and hold dragon brain cardamom in their mouths. The one who recites the mantra should sit facing east, with a small altar made of white sandalwood in front of them, about one elbow in size. Have the young girls stand on the altar, scatter flowers in front of the young girls, place an Argha (water offering vessel) burner, take benzoin, bless it seven times with the Great Mudra mantra, burn it, and have the young girls fumigate their hands with the incense. Then, take red flowers, bless them seven times, place them in the palms of the young girls, and then cover their faces with their hands. At this time, the one who recites the mantra forms the Great Mudra, with both hands joined in prayer, fingers interlaced outwards, the left hand pressing the right hand, with the palms hollow.'

次應移印按彼心中。想地輪形方黃色。誦七遍真言曰。

Disperse the mudra above the head, while reciting the mantra: 'Namo bhagavate maha (引) mudra (二合) kata la shikiti ri (二合) shi (二合) ri lochani isha (引) ni pashupati svaha (二合引) ha (引)' Then press this mudra on the crown of the virgin's head. Visualize a triangular, red, blazing fire wheel on her head, emitting light. Recite the mantra seven times. The mantra of the fire wheel is: 'Om agni (二合) shikhi svaha (二合引)' Then press this mudra on the virgin's mouth. Visualize a water wheel in her mouth, in the shape of a white crescent moon. The mantra is: Om (seed syllable) Miri (two combined) Tiviya (two combined) Zhata Duo (2) Re Wa (elongated) Yu Luo Jia Shan Form the great mudra and recite the mantra. Circumambulate and bless the whole body. Then one can protect the one hundred and eight kinds of vital points. Next, again use the great mudra. Use the mantra to bless flowers, incense, and argha (offering water), etc. Next, again use the great mudra mantra to bind the ten directions. Then, facing this maiden. 結此棒印。則語問種種事已。以大印真言加持閼伽。三灑童女面。即結解。此使者真言先應誦一萬遍則法成。則見身來。須獻閼伽乞愿。愿聖者一切處一切時使用皆辦。則隱不現。已后欲使。涂一小壇著香花飲食。誦真言一百八遍。則現身。則言龍宮中取長年藥如意寶珠。或使夜摩王處。延命增益壽命。或使上取妙甘露。或使他國問其善惡。亦能助軍陣摧破他敵。種種使用悉能成辦。此法一切迦樓羅法中最殊勝。秘密難得。汝當揀擇法器堪傳授者而傳與。非人器人即損他。已后此法不成。是故應極秘密勿妄傳受之。大自在天迦樓羅陀羅尼曰。

Reciting this mantra will surely bring swift results. You can inquire about future good and evil, all calamities and auspicious events. If (the deity) does not speak or speaks slowly, then form the club mudra.

Place both hands together in prayer. Bend the two ring fingers outwards. Keep the two middle fingers upright and together. Hook each index finger onto the tip of the corresponding ring finger. Place each thumb on the middle joint of the middle fingers. Recite the mantra, saying:

Om (seed syllable) (1) Munaga (two combined) (2) Turuturu (3) Svaha (accomplishment) (4)

By forming this club mudra, you can inquire about various matters. Consecrate argha (offerings) with the great mudra mantra, and sprinkle it three times on the face of a virgin girl, then release the mudra. This messenger's mantra should first be recited ten thousand times for the practice to be successful, and for the messenger to appear. You must offer argha and make your requests. Pray that the holy one can be used in all places and at all times, and that all matters can be accomplished. Then the messenger will disappear. Afterwards, if you wish to use the messenger, paint a small altar and place incense, flowers, and food. Recite the mantra one hundred and eight times, and the messenger will appear. You can have him retrieve the elixir of longevity and the wish-fulfilling jewel from the dragon palace, or command Yama (the king of death) to extend your life and increase your blessings, or have him retrieve the wonderful nectar from the heavens, or have him inquire about the good and evil of other countries. He can also help the army destroy enemy formations and crush enemy troops. All kinds of uses can be successfully accomplished. This method is the most supreme among all Garuda (golden-winged bird) methods, secret and difficult to obtain. You should select those who have the capacity and are worthy of being taught and transmit it to them. If it is transmitted to someone who is not a suitable vessel, it will harm them. Afterwards, this method will not be successful. Therefore, it should be kept extremely secret and not transmitted recklessly. The Great自在天 (Great自在天) Garuda Dharani says:

此陀羅尼。調伏人取赤芭蕉葉畫彼人。心上書名字。誦陀羅尼一百八遍。即埋牛糞中即調伏。欲令豎子對相憎。多羅葉畫彼男女形。書名相背。取線纏。取鼠狼毛山雞毛蛇退皮燒熏。誦陀羅尼一百八遍。安劫波羅中。即于尸林中埋著。便相憎。除卻依舊。若令相憐者。還於多羅葉上畫彼夫形。書名相合。取白線系。取雀兒毛蛇皮燒熏。誦陀羅尼一百八遍。即相憐。

又法欲令人相打。于大蟲皮或於牛皮。畫二人相把頭髻。書名著。取線纏著。於火上重。埋碓臼下。即得日日相打。除劫止。

又法若欲調伏人者。取貝多葉上畫人形。書名誦陀羅尼一百八遍。即于床下埋。即得調伏。

又法令尿血者。取多羅葉畫彼人。書姓名。取釘誦陀羅尼一百八遍。釘上七七日。即得除去。

次說眼藥法。若調伏豎子者。取蛇頭竭羅安善那青木香寫甲蜂二介。于黑月十四日搗作抹。和肉點眼角。一切豎子隨逐。天上亦來非但人間也。

此陀羅尼,調伏人的方法是:取紅色芭蕉葉,在上面畫出那個人,在他心上寫上名字,誦讀陀羅尼一百零八遍,然後埋在牛糞中,就能調伏。如果想讓男女互相憎恨,就在多羅葉上畫出那男女的形狀,寫上名字,讓他們背對,用線纏繞。取鼠狼毛、山雞毛、蛇蛻皮燒熏,誦讀陀羅尼一百零八遍,放在劫波羅(Kapala,頭蓋骨)中,然後埋在尸林中,他們就會互相憎恨。要解除就恢復原狀。如果想讓他們互相愛憐,就在多羅葉上畫出那男人的形狀,寫上名字,讓他們相合,用白線繫住。取雀兒毛、蛇皮燒熏,誦讀陀羅尼一百零八遍,他們就會互相愛憐。

又有一種方法,想讓人互相爭鬥,就在大蟲皮或者牛皮上,畫出兩個人互相抓住頭髮的樣子,寫上名字,用線纏繞,放在火上烤,埋在碓臼下,就會每天互相爭鬥,要停止就解除。

又有一種方法,如果想調伏人,就在貝多葉上畫出人形,寫上名字,誦讀陀羅尼一百零八遍,然後埋在床下,就能調伏。

又有一種方法,治療尿血,取多羅葉畫出那個人,寫上姓名,取釘子誦讀陀羅尼一百零八遍,釘上七七日,就能除去。

接下來講述眼藥的方法。如果想調伏孩童,取蛇頭竭羅(She tou jie luo),安善那(An shan na),青木香,寫甲蜂二介(Xie jia feng er jie),在黑月十四日搗碎做成藥膏,和肉一起點在眼角,所有孩童都會跟隨,天上的人也會來,不僅僅是人間的人。

速疾立驗魔醯首羅天(Maheśvara,大自在天)說迦婁羅阿尾奢法(Kālura āveśa,迦婁羅附身法)一卷。

【English Translation】 English version: Nè lū (two combined) zhǐ niáng (two combined) bǒ yě dì (ten) suō pó (two combined, long sound) hè.

This Dharani: To subdue a person, take a red banana leaf, draw that person on it, write their name on their heart, recite the Dharani one hundred and eight times, and then bury it in cow dung to subdue them. If you want a man and woman to hate each other, draw the shapes of the man and woman on a Tala leaf, write their names with their backs facing each other, and wrap them with thread. Take weasel hair, pheasant feathers, and shed snake skin, burn them for fumigation, recite the Dharani one hundred and eight times, place it in a Kapala (skull), and then bury it in a corpse forest, and they will hate each other. To undo it, restore it to its original state. If you want them to love each other, draw the shape of the man on a Tala leaf, write his name, have them facing each other, and tie them with white thread. Take sparrow feathers and snake skin, burn them for fumigation, recite the Dharani one hundred and eight times, and they will love each other.

Another method: If you want people to fight each other, draw two people grabbing each other's hair on tiger skin or cow skin, write their names, wrap them with thread, heat them over a fire, and bury them under a mortar, and they will fight each other every day. To stop it, undo it.

Another method: If you want to subdue a person, draw a human figure on a Betel leaf, write their name, recite the Dharani one hundred and eight times, and then bury it under the bed to subdue them.

Another method: To treat hematuria, take a Tala leaf, draw that person, write their name, take a nail, recite the Dharani one hundred and eight times, and nail it for forty-nine days to remove it.

Next, the method of eye medicine is described. If you want to subdue children, take She tou jie luo, An shan na, green sandalwood, and Xie jia feng er jie, grind them into a paste on the fourteenth day of the dark month, mix it with meat, and apply it to the corners of the eyes. All the children will follow, and even beings from the heavens will come, not just people from the human realm.
