如是我聞。一時佛在毗沙門宮。與大菩薩摩訶薩眾俱。大秘密主金剛手菩薩而為上首。及無數天龍夜叉乾闥婆阿修羅迦樓羅緊那羅摩睺羅伽。及釋梵護世那羅延天大自在天。寶賢天滿賢天力天大力天。難你計說啰天摩賀迦羅天醫主天。及諸天后等。各有無數百千眷屬俱。復有大羅剎眾。所謂金色羅剎主十頭羅剎主。尾毗沙拏羅剎主寶密羅剎主。行密羅剎主無邊密羅剎主。普遍密羅剎主上授羅剎主。惡牙羅剎主利牙羅剎主。烏姹播捺羅剎主象頭羅剎主。如是等羅剎主各領百千俱胝眷屬而來集會。復有大夜叉眾。所謂人仙夜叉主阿吒嚩夜叉主。善調夜叉主發光夜叉主。善容夜叉主妙光夜叉主。妙目夜叉主尾瑟努夜叉主。妙發夜叉主惡相夜叉主。得勝夜叉主熾盛夜叉主。火頂夜叉主名稱夜叉主。半唧迦夜叉主花授夜叉主。花髻夜叉主寶髻夜叉主。廣財夜叉主善覺夜叉主。善行夜叉主妙臂夜叉主。妙嚴夜叉主珠牙夜叉主。酥哩野夜叉主日光夜叉主。日喜夜叉主露齒夜叉主。熾盛光夜叉主畏面夜

Chapter 1: The Supreme Accomplishment Ritual
Thus have I heard. At one time, the Buddha was in the Vaiśravaṇa-bhavana (the palace of Vaiśravaṇa, the Guardian King of the North). He was with a great assembly of Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas, with the great secret lord Vajrapāṇi (the Bodhisattva Vajrapāṇi, holder of the vajra) as their leader, and countless Devas, Nagas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Asuras, Garudas, Kinnaras, and Mahoragas, as well as the Shakra, Brahma, the world-protecting Nārāyaṇa (Vishnu), Maheśvara (Shiva), the Deva Bhaudanya, the Deva Purnabhadra, the Deva Shakti, the Deva Mahashakti, the Deva Nandiśvara, the Deva Mahākāla (Great Black Deva), the Deva Chief Physician, and the Deva consorts, each with countless hundreds of thousands of attendants. There were also great assemblies of Rakshasas, such as the Golden Rakshasa Lord, the Ten-Headed Rakshasa Lord, the Vibhishana Rakshasa Lord, the Ratna-guhya Rakshasa Lord, the Karma-guhya Rakshasa Lord, the Ananta-guhya Rakshasa Lord, the Samanta-guhya Rakshasa Lord, the Uttara-datta Rakshasa Lord, the Evil-Toothed Rakshasa Lord, the Sharp-Toothed Rakshasa Lord, the Utpata Rakshasa Lord, and the Elephant-Headed Rakshasa Lord. These Rakshasa Lords each led hundreds of thousands of kotis of attendants. There were also great assemblies of Yakshas, such as the Human Immortal Yaksha Lord, the Atavaka Yaksha Lord, the Well-Tamed Yaksha Lord, the Radiating Yaksha Lord, the Well-Appearing Yaksha Lord, the Wonderful Light Yaksha Lord, the Wonderful-Eyed Yaksha Lord, the Vishnu Yaksha Lord, the Wonderful-Haired Yaksha Lord, the Evil-Faced Yaksha Lord, the Victorious Yaksha Lord, the Blazing Yaksha Lord, the Fire-Crowned Yaksha Lord, the Renowned Yaksha Lord, the Pañcika Yaksha Lord, the Flower-Giving Yaksha Lord, the Flower-Crested Yaksha Lord, the Jewel-Crested Yaksha Lord, the Vast-Wealth Yaksha Lord, the Well-Awakened Yaksha Lord, the Well-Behaved Yaksha Lord, the Wonderful-Armed Yaksha Lord, the Wonderfully Adorned Yaksha Lord, the Jewel-Toothed Yaksha Lord, the Surya Yaksha Lord, the Sunlight Yaksha Lord, the Sun-Joy Yaksha Lord, the Exposed-Teeth Yaksha Lord, the Blazing-Light Yaksha Lord, and the Fearful-Faced Yaksha Lord.
叉主普照夜叉主。如是等夜叉主。具大威力騰空自在。各領無數百千俱胝。眷屬而來集會。復有大持明天眾。乃至諸大仙眾皆來集會。大毗沙門天王與百千俱胝眷屬圍繞世尊。是時有天名曰那拏。色相殊妙面現微笑。手持日月及諸器杖。眾寶嚴飾光逾日月。以難陀烏波難陀二龍而為絡腋。得叉迦龍以為腰絳。有大威力如那羅延。亦來集會坐于佛前。
爾時毗沙門天王從座而起。以諸寶華及缽訥摩華。俱母捺華奔拏利迦華。優缽羅華搔巘提迦華。嚩哩始迦華瞻卜迦華。曼陀羅華摩訶曼陀羅華。以如是等水陸諸華供養于佛。旋繞千匝禮佛足已。而白佛言世尊。我見此會大夜叉眾大羅剎眾。現種種相食啖人者。復見大菩薩眾大持明天眾及大仙眾。乃至天龍夜叉羅剎阿修羅迦樓羅緊那羅摩睺羅伽如是等眾皆來集會圍繞世尊。此大祥瑞我未曾見。世尊今者欲說何法。為說秘密曼拏羅法。為說三昧之法。世尊今正是時愿廣宣說。
爾時世尊受毗沙門天王請已。而即告言。天王我見世間一切眾生。于晝夜中有大驚怖。蓋為無量大惡夜叉羅剎。伺求其便而作侵害。天王彼等大惡夜叉羅剎。今歸依我於我教中。受三歸依及受戒法。于諸有情不復侵害。
爾時世尊如是。安慰毗沙門天王已。即入調伏夜叉熾盛普光三摩地

這時,毗沙門天王從座位上站起來,用各種寶華以及缽訥摩華(紅蓮花),俱母捺華(白睡蓮),奔拏利迦華(白蓮花),優缽羅華(青蓮花),搔巘提迦華(黃色蓮花),嚩哩始迦華(雨季花),瞻卜迦華(黃玉蘭),曼陀羅華(曼陀羅花),摩訶曼陀羅華(大曼陀羅花),用這些水生和陸生的各種鮮花供養佛陀,然後繞佛千匝,禮拜佛足之後,對佛說:『世尊,我看到這次法會中有許多大夜叉眾(夜叉的群體)和大羅剎眾(羅剎的群體),顯現各種各樣的形象,吞食人類。又看到大菩薩眾(發大菩提心的眾生),大持明天眾以及各位大仙眾,乃至天龍(天上的龍族),夜叉,羅剎,阿修羅(非天),迦樓羅(金翅鳥),緊那羅(歌神),摩睺羅伽(大蟒神)等等這些眾生都前來圍繞世尊。』這種盛大的祥瑞景像我從未見過。世尊您今天想要宣說什麼法呢?是宣說秘密曼拏羅法(密教的壇場儀軌),還是宣說三昧之法(禪定)?世尊現在正是時候,希望您能廣泛地宣說。
這時,世尊接受了毗沙門天王的請求之後,就告訴他說:『天王,我看到世間一切眾生,在白天和夜晚都感到非常驚恐,這是因為有無數的大惡夜叉和羅剎,伺機尋找機會來侵害他們。天王,那些大惡夜叉和羅剎,現在歸依我,在我的教法中,接受三歸依(歸依佛、法、僧)以及受持戒律,不再侵害各種有情眾生。』
這時,世尊這樣安慰毗沙門天王之後,就進入了調伏夜叉熾盛普光三摩地(一種禪定狀態)。
【English Translation】 English version: The Yaksha chief, Puzhao Yaksha chief (Yaksha leader, named Puzhao). Such Yaksha chiefs, possessing great power, capable of flying freely in the sky, each leading countless hundreds of thousands of kotis (an immense number) of attendants, have come. Furthermore, the great Vidyadhara assembly (beings who practice mantras), and even all the great celestial beings, have also come. The great Vaisravana Devaraja (Guardian King of the North) is surrounding the World-Honored One (Buddha) with hundreds of thousands of kotis of attendants. At this time, there is a deva (god) named Nana (name of a deva), whose appearance is exceptionally beautiful and wondrous, with a smiling face, holding the sun, moon, and various weapons in his hands, adorned with various treasures, his light surpassing the sun and moon. He uses Nanda Dragon (name of a dragon) and Upananda Dragon (name of a dragon) as armlets, and Takshaka Dragon (name of a dragon) as a waistband, possessing great power like Narayana (Hindu deity, an avatar of Vishnu), and also comes to sit before the Buddha.
At this time, Vaisravana Devaraja rises from his seat, and uses various precious flowers, as well as Padma flowers (red lotus), Kumud flowers (white water lily), Pundarika flowers (white lotus), Utpala flowers (blue lotus), Saugandhika flowers (yellow lotus), Varshika flowers (rainy season flower), Champaka flowers (magnolia champaca), Mandala flowers (mandala flower), Maha Mandala flowers (great mandala flower), using such aquatic and terrestrial flowers to make offerings to the Buddha. Then, he circumambulates the Buddha a thousand times, prostrates at the Buddha's feet, and says to the Buddha: 'World-Honored One, I see in this assembly many great Yaksha assemblies (groups of Yakshas) and great Rakshasa assemblies (groups of Rakshasas), manifesting various forms, devouring humans. I also see great Bodhisattva assemblies (beings with great Bodhicitta), great Vidyadhara assemblies, and all the great celestial beings, even the Devas (gods), Nagas (dragons), Yakshas, Rakshasas, Asuras (demigods), Garudas (eagles), Kinnaras (celestial musicians), Mahoragas (great serpents), and so on, all come to surround the World-Honored One.' I have never seen such an auspicious and magnificent sight. World-Honored One, what Dharma do you intend to proclaim today? Is it to proclaim the secret Mandala Dharma (esoteric Buddhist mandala rituals), or to proclaim the Dharma of Samadhi (meditative concentration)? World-Honored One, now is the right time, I hope you will widely proclaim it.
At this time, the World-Honored One, having accepted the request of Vaisravana Devaraja, then tells him: 'Devaraja, I see that all sentient beings in the world feel great fear during the day and night, because there are countless great evil Yakshas and Rakshasas, seeking opportunities to harm them. Devaraja, those great evil Yakshas and Rakshasas, now take refuge in me, in my teachings, accept the Three Refuges (refuge in Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and uphold the precepts, and will no longer harm various sentient beings.'
At this time, the World-Honored One, having thus comforted Vaisravana Devaraja, then enters the Samadhi of Subduing Yakshas, Blazing Universal Light (a state of meditative concentration).
。于其定中身放大光。其光普照三千大千世界。所有一切大惡夜叉。羅剎毗舍左部多。及諸惡龍乃至宿曜等。佛光照已悉皆警覺。其光回還繞佛三匝入于佛頂。復從面門出七色光入那拏天頂。時那拏天光入頂已。即現大身如須彌山。面忿怒相復大笑相。而有千臂。手持葛波羅及諸器仗。以虎皮絡腋葛波羅而為莊嚴。光明熾盛具大威力。是那拏天現此身時。大地震動睹者皆怖。時那拏天合掌向佛。白言世尊我有心明。善能調伏阿修羅眾。及一切夜叉羅剎部多毗舍左等。乃至大梵天王那羅延天大自在天咸令歸伏。亦能句召一切天龍之眾。世尊我此心明。是一切持明者最上成就之法。是故我今於此會中。欲對如來廣大宣說。為諸持明者令得成就。速滿一切眾生心中所愿。世尊又此心明。於一切處唸誦皆得成就。乃至得入一切曼拏羅及諸三昧。所有如來部金剛部寶部蓮華部羯磨部。於此諸部所有一切曼拏羅。誦我心明皆得成就。及一切三昧曼拏羅印法皆悉得入。乃至得大總持。世尊於此諸部平等三昧曼拏羅法明言印相。惟愿世尊哀愍攝受聽許宣說。
爾時世尊告那拏天言。所有諸部平等三昧曼拏羅法明言印相。我亦隨喜。汝那拏天為一切持明者速當宣說。時那拏天承佛聖旨。為利益故繞佛三匝。住立佛前即說心大明曰。

【English Translation】 English version: Within that Samadhi, Narayana's (Narayana, Vishnu) body emitted great light. This light illuminated the entire Trīsāhasra-mahāsāhasra-lokadhātu (three-thousand-great-thousand world system). All the great evil Yaksas (Yaksa, a type of spirit), Rakshasas (Rakshasa, a type of demon), Pisacas (Pisaca, a flesh-eating demon), Bhutas (Bhuta, a ghost), and evil dragons, even the Nakshatras (planets), were awakened by the Buddha's light. The light then returned, circumambulating the Buddha three times, and entered the Buddha's crown. Then, from the Buddha's face, seven-colored light emerged and entered the crown of Narayana. At that time, as the light entered Narayana's crown, he immediately manifested a great body, like Mount Sumeru. His face displayed both wrathful and laughing expressions, and he had a thousand arms, holding Kapalas (Kapala, skull cup) and various weapons. He was adorned with a tiger skin around his armpits and Kapalas as ornaments, radiating brilliant light and possessing great power. When Narayana manifested this form, the earth shook, and all who saw it were terrified. Then, Narayana, with palms joined, addressed the Buddha, saying, 'World-Honored One, I have a Heart-Dharani (Dharani, mantra), which is skillful in subduing the Asura (Asura, a type of demigod) hosts, as well as all Yaksas, Rakshasas, Bhutas, Pisacas, and even Mahabrahma (Mahabrahma, the great Brahma), Narayana (Narayana, Vishnu), and Mahesvara (Mahesvara, Shiva), causing them to submit. It can also summon all the hosts of Devas (gods) and Nagas (dragons). World-Honored One, this Heart-Dharani is the supreme accomplishment for all Vidyadharas (Vidyadhara, mantra holders). Therefore, today in this assembly, I wish to proclaim it extensively before the Tathagata (Tathagata, Thus Come One), so that all Vidyadharas may attain accomplishment and quickly fulfill the wishes in the hearts of all beings. World-Honored One, this Heart-Dharani, when recited in all places, will lead to accomplishment, even to entering all Mandalas (Mandala, sacred diagram) and various Samadhis (Samadhi, meditative absorption). In all the Mandalas of the Tathagata family, Vajra family, Ratna family, Padma family, and Karma family, reciting my Heart-Dharani will lead to accomplishment. And one can enter all Samadhis, Mandalas, Mudras (Mudra, hand gesture), and Dharma practices, even attaining the Great Dharani (Mahadharani, great mantra). World-Honored One, regarding the equal Samadhis, Mandala practices, Mantras (Mantra, sacred utterance), Mudras, and appearances of these families, I beseech the World-Honored One to compassionately accept and permit me to proclaim them.' At that time, the World-Honored One said to Narayana, 'I also rejoice in all the equal Samadhis, Mandala practices, Mantras, Mudras, and appearances of these families. You, Narayana, should quickly proclaim them for the benefit of all Vidyadharas.' Then, Narayana, receiving the Buddha's sacred command, circumambulated the Buddha three times for the benefit of beings, stood before the Buddha, and then spoke the Great Heart-Vidya (Mahavidya, great mantra), saying:

又法若有行人。為彼諸惡夜叉羅剎所執持者。若遣除者當用安悉香。以此明加持一遍。然後焚燒熏彼執者。聞此香已彼即說事便得止息。

又法,若有修行人被諸惡夜叉(Yaksa,一種鬼神)、羅剎(Rakshasa,一種惡鬼)所執持,想要遣除他們,應當使用安悉香(Benzoin,一種香料),用此明咒加持一遍,然後焚燒熏彼執持者。聞到此香后,他們就會說出實情,便能止息。
又法,若有修行人想要召請一切天龍(Naga,一種神獸)、夜叉、乾闥婆(Gandharva,一種天神)、阿修羅(Asura,一種惡神)、迦樓羅(Garuda,一種神鳥)、緊那羅(Kinnara,一種天神)、摩睺羅伽(Mahoraga,一種大蟒神),以及羅剎、部多(Bhuta,一種鬼)、毗舍左(Pisaca,一種惡鬼)等,應當使用安悉香,誦此明咒加持一遍,焚燒后,他們就會應召而來。若想要發遣他們離開,也用安悉香誦此明咒,加持一遍,如前焚燒,他們就會立即離去。
又法,若想要讓缽(Bowl)說話和舉動,應當用缽盛滿燒過的瓦灰,安放在曼拏羅(Mandala,壇場)中,誦此明咒,加持安悉香焚燒,再誦此明咒一遍,那缽就會像人一樣說話,為修行人說事,並且能夠舉動。
又法,若想要讓閼伽瓶(Arghya vessel,供水瓶)說話和舉動,應當選擇純白的閼伽瓶,潔凈且完好無損的。用白檀(White sandalwood)及恭俱摩香(Kumkuma,藏紅花)等,製作涂香塗抹它,盛滿乾淨的水,並插上美妙的鮮花,誦心明咒加持一遍,安放在曼拏羅中,焚燒安悉香,誦心明咒一遍,那瓶子就會像之前一樣說話。再誦心明咒,加持白芥子打瓶子,那瓶子就會立即舉起,離開地面八指高,隨意復原回曼拏羅。

At that time, Narayana Deva, having spoken this mantra, further reported to the Buddha, saying: 'World Honored One, if a practitioner recites this heart mantra according to the Dharma and becomes proficient in it, they will be able to accomplish a thousand things. If a practitioner wishes to stop thunder and hail, they should use a sword, pomegranate branch, Karavira branch, water, or ashes, etc. After blessing these items once with this mantra, they can be used to immediately stop the thunder and hail.'
Furthermore, if a practitioner is possessed by evil Yakshas or Rakshasas, and wishes to dispel them, they should use benzoin. After blessing it once with this mantra, they should burn it and fumigate the possessor. Upon smelling this fragrance, they will tell the truth and then cease their possession.
Furthermore, if a practitioner wishes to summon all Nagas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Asuras, Garudas, Kinnaras, Mahoragas, Rakshasas, Bhutas, Pisacas, etc., they should use benzoin. After reciting this mantra and blessing it once, they should burn it, and those beings will come when summoned. If they wish to send them away, they should also use benzoin, recite this mantra, bless it once, and burn it as before. They will then depart immediately.
Furthermore, if one wishes to make a bowl speak and move, one should fill the bowl with burnt tile ashes and place it in a Mandala. Recite this mantra, bless benzoin and burn it, then recite this mantra once more. The bowl will then speak like a person, tell the practitioner things, and be able to move.
Furthermore, if one wishes to make an Arghya vessel speak and move, one should select a pure white Arghya vessel that is clean and new. Use white sandalwood and saffron (Kumkuma) etc., to make a scented paste and apply it. Fill it with clean water and insert beautiful flowers. Recite the heart mantra and bless it once. Place it in a Mandala, burn benzoin, and recite the heart mantra once. The vessel will then speak as before. Recite the heart mantra again, bless white mustard seeds and strike the vessel. Another method: If you want to make a Sadanpo (an idol) move, first use white sandalwood and Gongjumo xiang (a kind of incense) etc., to make a scented paste and apply it. Then burn Anxi xiang (a kind of incense), snap your fingers and recite the heart mantra to bless it. The Sadanpo will naturally move and then return to its original position.
Another method: If you want to make a Bangsheng (animal) speak, you should burn Anxi xiang, fumigate ashes and white mustard seeds. After reciting the heart mantra twenty-one times, recite the heart mantra again, and sprinkle the ashes and mustard seeds on the Bangsheng's body, and it will speak.
Another method: If you want to make a virgin speak, you should use cow dung that has not fallen on the ground to smear a square Mandala (sacred circle). Then choose a virgin with a dignified appearance and complete limbs, bathe her clean, put on new white clothes, and let her sit in the Mandala. Another method: If you want to make a Mene gala (a puppet) complete the method of accomplishment, you should use cow dung that has not fallen on the ground to smear the Mandala. Recite the heart mantra once to bless it, and this Mene gala will be able to complete the matter of accomplishment, and can also make it move at will. The matter you want to accomplish will cause the Kapala to move, and it can also speak of the past, present, and future.

【English Translation】 English version: If one wishes to counteract the effects of various poisons, one should use a peacock's tail, recite the heart mantra's light, bless it, and then brush it over the body of the poisoned person, and the poison will be dispelled. For all the above methods, use benzoin incense, recite the heart mantra's light to bless it, and all will be accomplished.

At this time, after Narayana Deva spoke the Great Bright Mantra, he again said to the Buddha: 'World Honored One, this Great Bright Mantra of mine is the most supreme and greatly fearless, and is good at subduing.'
諸夜叉所作成就法。決定悉皆成一念此大明圓滿最上事。若有行人誦此大明得精熟已。然後乃作種種之事。若人慾離散設咄嚕者。當用佉禰啰木作橛長八指。以此大明加持一遍已。于設咄嚕挼啰釘之。即速離散若欲解除者當出彼橛即得除解。又法若欲令設咄嚕嗢訥摩多者。當用白芥子誦大明加持一遍已。擲彼屹哩訶中。彼即得嗢訥摩多。若欲除解者當用安悉香。誦大明一遍加持已。于彼屹哩訶中燒即得除解。
又法若欲復作離散者。當用摩努沙阿悉帝作橛長八指。誦大明加持一遍。燒安悉香薰。復以此橛釘彼挼啰。於三夜中彼即離散。
又法若欲破壞設咄嚕者。當用阿欲末野沒捺誐啰。同彼名字誦大明加持一遍已。釘于地中彼即破壞。若欲解除當出沒捺誐啰。即得除解。或釘濕摩舍那中。彼設咄嚕即部多執持。若出沒捺誐啰即得除解。或釘舜你也誐啰中。彼得毗舍左屹啰賀執持。出即除解。或釘屹啰摩挼啰前。彼印捺哩野即得禁縛。出即除解。或釘野中彼即離於本處。奔入山野猶如獐鹿。出即除解。如是等法誦大明加持一遍。燒安悉香皆速成就。
又法若欲辟除夜叉羅剎者。當作四方曼拏羅燒安悉香。以沒捺誐啰打曼拏羅。彼夜叉羅剎並諸眷屬皆悉遠去。
又法若欲驅使夜叉羅剎者。當塑畫
彼形像。然後誦大明。加持沒捺誐啰一遍已。用打形像。彼夜叉羅剎即現本身。隨行人意作種種事。或有伏藏皆悉引示。乃至財谷悉皆供給。一切侍奉猶如僮僕。
又法若欲求毗沙門供給者。當塑畫彼像。燒安悉香薰誦大明。以沒捺誐啰打之。彼毗沙門即現本身。當施行人一切所愿。財谷等事悉皆供給。
又法若欲求毗沙門成就法者。當往有毗沙門像處。燒安悉香。以手按毗沙門足。誦大明七遍彼像即起。若不速起頭破七分。又加持白芥子打擲像面。彼像即語行人。所問隨意皆說。乃至引示有伏藏處。又複用白芥子及灰相和。誦大明加持七遍。安毗沙門像頂燒安悉香。複誦大明一遍。彼毗沙門天與百眷屬。持諸財寶現行人前。所欲之事皆得成就。
又法若欲求那羅延天成就法者。當就有那羅延天像處。行人燒安悉香。手按像足誦唸大明像即行動。複誦大明加持白芥子打擲彼像。時像即語當施行人。一切所愿皆得成就。及能成就一切儀軌。
又法若欲求大自在天法成就者。當擇一葛波羅具法者。用白芥子誦大明加持七遍已。盛于葛波羅內安大自在天像頂。是時彼天當與行人一切成就。復于像前燒安悉香。誦此大明天像即語。告行人言汝所欲事我皆為作。乃至所須一切供給。
又法若欲求

又有一種方法,如果想要祈求那羅延天(Narayana,印度教主神之一,毗濕奴的化身)成就法,應當前往有那羅延天像的地方,修行人焚燒安悉香,手按住像的腳,誦唸大明咒,像就會行動。再誦持大明咒加持白芥子,擊打那像,這時像就會和修行人說話,一切所愿都能成就,並且能夠成就一切儀軌。

【English Translation】 English version: Regarding the image of a Yaksa (a type of spirit) or Rakshasa (a type of demon), then recite the Great Bright Mantra (referring to a specific mantra). After empowering the Mudgara (a type of weapon or hand gesture) once, use it to strike the image. That Yaksa or Rakshasa will then manifest its true form and do various things according to the practitioner's wishes. Or, if there are hidden treasures, they will guide and indicate them, even providing all wealth and grain, serving in every way like servants.
Another method: If you want to request the provision of Vaisravana (a Buddhist guardian deity, one of the Four Heavenly Kings), you should sculpt or paint his image, burn benzoin incense (a type of fragrance) to fumigate it, recite the Great Bright Mantra, and strike it with the Mudgara. That Vaisravana will then manifest his true form, fulfilling all the practitioner's wishes, providing all wealth, grain, and other things.
Another method: If you want to seek the accomplishment of the Vaisravana practice, you should go to a place where there is an image of Vaisravana, burn benzoin incense, press your hand on Vaisravana's foot, and recite the Great Bright Mantra seven times. That image will then stand up. If it does not stand up quickly, its head will break into seven pieces. Then empower white mustard seeds and strike the face of the image. That image will then speak to the practitioner, saying whatever is asked, even guiding and indicating places where there are hidden treasures. Also, mix white mustard seeds and ashes, empower them by reciting the Great Bright Mantra seven times, place them on top of the Vaisravana image, burn benzoin incense, and recite the Great Bright Mantra once more. That Vaisravana will then appear before the practitioner with a hundred attendants, holding various treasures, and whatever is desired will be accomplished.
Another method: If you want to seek the accomplishment of the Narayana (a major Hindu deity, an avatar of Vishnu) practice, you should go to a place where there is an image of Narayana. The practitioner should burn benzoin incense, press their hand on the foot of the image, and recite the Great Bright Mantra. The image will then move. Then empower white mustard seeds by reciting the Great Bright Mantra and strike that image. At this time, the image will speak to the practitioner, and all wishes will be fulfilled, and all rituals will be accomplished.
Another method: If you want to seek the accomplishment of the Mahesvara (another name for Shiva) practice, you should choose a Kapala (skull cup) that possesses power. After empowering white mustard seeds by reciting the Great Bright Mantra seven times, place them inside the skull cup and place it on top of the Mahesvara image. At this time, that deity will grant the practitioner all accomplishments. Then burn benzoin incense in front of the image and recite this Great Bright Mantra. The heavenly image will then speak, telling the practitioner, 'I will do everything you want for you, even providing everything you need.'

又法若欲止雷雹者。當塑作龍身。用石榴枝誦大明。加持一遍已。打彼龍身雷雹即止。
又法若欲止風者。當用掃帚誦大明加持已。安樓閣上其風即止。

又一種方法:如果想要停止雷雹,應當塑造龍身,用石榴樹枝誦持大明咒,加持一遍后,擊打龍身,雷雹就會停止。
又一種方法:如果想要停止風,應當用掃帚誦持大明咒加持后,安放在樓閣上,風就會停止。

【English Translation】 English version: 梵天 Achievement Method: A practitioner should go to a place where there is an image of Brahmā (the Hindu god of creation), bathe the image with cow's milk, burn benzoin incense, and recite this great mantra. At that time, Brahmā will appear in his original form, stand before the practitioner, and say, 'Whatever you seek, I will give you all the methods for achieving rituals.' The practitioner should eat the milk used to bathe the image. From then on, he will be able to hear laws he has never heard before, his knowledge will be vast and profound like the ocean, and he will have a subtle voice like a Kinnara (a part-human, part-bird deity). His body, speech, and mind will be purified, his lifespan will increase by a thousand years, and he will be able to achieve all rituals.
Another method: If a practitioner wants to subdue a dragon, he should sculpt a dragon's body and place it in a Maṇḍala (sacred diagram), offering incense and flowers. He should use a Karavīra (oleander) branch to recite the great mantra, empower it once, and strike the dragon's body. Then, he should recite the great mantra again to empower the dragon, and the dragon will appear in its true form, bringing down great sweet rain, and even undertaking all affairs.
Another method: If you want to stop thunder and hail, you should sculpt a dragon's body, use a pomegranate branch to recite the great mantra, empower it once, and then strike the dragon's body, and the thunder and hail will stop.
Another method: If you want to stop the wind, you should use a broom to recite the great mantra, empower it, and then place it on a tower, and the wind will stop.
Another method: If you want to destroy a Śatru (enemy), you should use a Karavīra branch to burn benzoin incense and fumigate it, recite the great mantra, empower it once, and strike a Kapāla (skull), and that Śatru will be destroyed. Using this method, you can also subdue all Bhūtas (ghosts), Yakṣas (a type of guardian deity), and Rākṣasas (demons) at will.
As mentioned above, all the achievement methods created by the great mantra must be empowered by burning benzoin incense to be fully achieved.

又法若行人慾求羅剎成就者。先當擇取濕摩舍那地。然後行人沐浴潔凈依法著衣。于所擇地置出生食及閼伽缽等。以嚕地啰作護摩十二晝夜。滿是日已。即彼羅剎出現本身。具大惡相而有四臂。手執三叉鉞斧搗杵鈴等。乘于師子住行人前。告行人言我今欲食。行人若見勿得怖畏。即手持食告羅剎言。此食依那拏天旨。當如法食。作是言已即獻食及閼伽。羅剎受已告行人言。汝何所求。行人答言

At that time, Nana Deva, having spoken this great dharani, further spoke about the method of accomplishment. If a practitioner desires to achieve success with the Yakshas, they should use wood from the Nigrodha tree to make a board. Using the finest colors, they should paint on the board an image of the Yaksha they seek, with a face the color of green beans, a large and fierce appearance, sharp teeth protruding from the mouth, and adorned with various jewels. The left hand should hold a Kapala, and the right hand should make the gesture of granting wishes. After painting the image in this way, the practitioner should purify themselves and eat only white foods. In front of this image, they should recite the great dharani eight thousand times. Once the count is complete, the Yaksha will appear and stand before the practitioner. The practitioner should then offer white foods and Arghya, etc. The Yaksha will then say, 'What is it that you seek?' The practitioner will reply, 'I seek such and such.' The Yaksha will then say, 'Let it be as you wish, even to the point of flying freely in the sky, dwelling and moving as you please, with a lifespan of five hundred years.'
Another method: If a practitioner desires to achieve success with the Rakshasa, they should first choose a smasana (cremation ground). Then the practitioner should bathe and purify themselves, and dress according to the Dharma. At the chosen place, they should place sacrificial food and an Arghya bowl, etc., and perform a homa with rudhira (blood) for twelve days and nights. After these days are complete, the Rakshasa will appear in its true form, with a large and fierce appearance, and four arms, holding a trident, battle-axe, pestle, bell, etc., riding on a lion, and standing before the practitioner, saying to the practitioner, 'I now wish to eat.' If the practitioner sees this, they should not be afraid. They should then hold the food in their hand and say to the Rakshasa, 'This food is according to the will of Nana Deva, and should be eaten according to the Dharma.' After saying these words, they should offer the food and Arghya. After the Rakshasa accepts, it will say to the practitioner, 'What do you seek?' The practitioner will reply:

While reciting the mantra, stir the medicine with a karavira (oleander) branch. If the kapala becomes warm and blazing, the sacred medicine is accomplished. If the practitioner applies this medicine to their forehead, they will become a vidyadhara (knowledge holder), free to fly through the air. If applied to the heart, they will become invisible, free to walk and dwell without obstruction. If applied to the eyes, all hidden treasures will be visible, and they can even enter the Asura caves and the Dragon Palace. If they take this medicine, they can extend their life for hundreds of thousands of kalpas (aeons), transforming their appearance like a Chakravartin (wheel-turning king), possessing a subtle voice like a kinnara (a celestial musician) and like the voice of Brahma. If used to anoint the body, the body will become as firm as diamond.
Another method: If a practitioner wants to accomplish a sacred medicine, they should mix goat ghee and yellow cow ghee, and light a lamp according to the proper method. Take the lamp soot and mix it with srivasa (turpentine) medicine, then recite the Great Vidya mantra, empowering it twenty-one times, and the sacred medicine will be accomplished. If this medicine is applied to the eyes, that person will gain great power, and those who see them will love and respect them.

Summon yakshas (a type of spirit), rakshasas (demons), bhutas (ghosts), and pishachas (flesh-eating demons). Burn benzoin incense and recite the Great Vidya mantra twenty-one times. Once the number is fulfilled, they will appear and stand before the practitioner. The practitioner should then recite the Great Vidya mantra again. Those yakshas, etc., will say to the practitioner, 'What do you summon us for?' The practitioner replies, 'You seize so-and-so shatru (enemy).' Those yakshas, etc., will quickly go and seize that shatru (enemy). If they are seized, no one will be able to release them.

Another method: If a practitioner wishes to bring down thunder and hail, they should use red Karavīra (oleander) wood to create a peg according to the proper method. If you wish to stop it, remove the peg, and it will stop.
All these methods should be performed by consecrating and burning An息香 (benzoin), then all practices will be accomplished.
The Fourth Section on the Accomplishment Method of the Supreme Mandala Ritual
At that time, Nāṇādeva again spoke of the supreme great mandala method. This mandala can accomplish all devas, even Brahmā, Nārāyaṇa, and Maheśvara, who constantly come to take refuge. Even the sages constantly praise it. All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas embrace it. All Yakṣas and Rākṣasas can attain samādhi. All mantras and rituals can be accomplished. If a practitioner wishes to create this mandala, they should first choose an auspicious and suitable place according to the Dharma. Then, on an auspicious day in the white month, they can begin. The practitioner should first bathe and purify themselves, wear new white clothes, and eat white foods. Then, using cow dung that has not fallen to the ground, create a triple mandala. The outer first layer should be thirty-two cubits in length and width, with sufficient dimensions and four gates in the four directions. This mandala should be completely round. The inner second layer should be made of white sandalwood, eight cubits in length and width. The inner third layer should be made of dragon brain and恭俱摩香 (kumkuma saffron), four cubits in length and width. In the center of this inner third layer of the mandala, draw Śākyamuni Buddha, holding a vajra and wheel, etc. In front of the Buddha, draw Nāṇādeva, with a dignified and beautiful appearance, having sixteen arms, holding various weapons, and adorned with various treasures. 兩手作合掌。中指雙起小指亦然。拇指如鉤。中指復屈如環頭指亦如是。此大印有大威德。善作一切事。乃至令諸類舉動說事。及調伏夜叉羅剎等。亦可作句召。如是等事悉得成就。亦能成就一切法。結此印時誦大明曰。

此印和大明咒能成就一切事情。
那拏天心印
不改變前面的印,用二手如金剛杵,頭指彎曲如月亮。結此印時,誦持大明咒說:

此印和大明咒,能調伏一切夜叉、羅剎,以及諸龍乃至各種惡類。
諸天心印

Reciting this great mantra can protect oneself and others. One can use thread, water, white mustard seeds, ashes, or burnt benzoin, etc., to empower them twenty-one times for protection.
Section 7: The Supreme Accomplishment Mudra and Great Mantra
At this time, Nā ná tiān (Name of a deity) again spoke of the mudra practice. This mudra practice is the method for supreme accomplishment. Before a practitioner is about to perform the ritual and form the mudra, they must first purify their hands, then apply scented paste before forming the mudra.
The Root Mudra of Nā ná tiān
Form a joined palm with both hands, the middle and little fingers pointing upwards, the thumbs bent like hooks. The middle fingers are bent again like rings, and so are the index fingers. This great mudra has great power and virtue, and can skillfully accomplish all things, even causing all kinds of beings to move and speak, as well as subduing Yakshas (Name of a demon), Rakshasas (Name of a demon), etc. It can also be used to make summons. Such things can all be accomplished. It can also accomplish all dharmas. When forming this mudra, recite the great mantra, saying:
Om Dutti Dutti Kupara Svaha (Om, Dutti Dutti, Kupara, Svaha)
Mudra of Mudgara
Again, using the previous mudra, bend the tips of the thumbs, and place the middle fingers like vajras on the top of the head. When forming this mudra, recite the great mantra, saying:
Om Chitti Chitti (1) Chichitti (2) Mudgara Hum (3) (Om, Chitti Chitti, Chichitti, Mudgara, Hum)
This mudra and great mantra can accomplish all things.
Heart Mudra of Nā ná tiān
Without changing the previous mudra, use both hands like vajras, and bend the index fingers like the moon. When forming this mudra, recite the great mantra, saying:
Om Druti Druti Svaha (Om, Druti Druti, Svaha)
This mudra and great mantra can subdue all Yakshas, Rakshasas, as well as dragons and all kinds of evil beings.
Heart Mudra of the Devas
Without changing the previous mudra, bend the two index fingers and raise the two thumbs, and it is done.

那拏天心印
不改前印。以二頭指如環。二中指如鉤。磔開二小指成印。結此印時誦心明曰。

爾時那拏天說是印明已。復言若有行人作諸成就法者。當須常行三密。所謂三昧及印相大明等。然可依法。作諸成就事所作皆成。

此印及大明咒,善於調伏諸星曜以及一切夜叉、羅剎、部多(Bhūta,鬼)等。結此印及誦咒時,那些夜叉等都會潰散。若不潰散,頭將裂為七分。
諸天印
不改變之前的印。打開兩個食指,舒展兩個小指。結此印時誦大明咒曰:

此印及大明咒,也能成就一切法。
那拏天心印

這時,那拏天說完這個印和咒語后,又說,如果修行人想要成就諸法,應當經常修行三密,即三昧(Samādhi,禪定)、手印和大明咒等。這樣依法修行,所作的成就之事都能成功。
【English Translation】 English version: Mudra. While forming this mudra, recite the great mantra:
'Oṃ na ṇā ri ṇi (one) Nivā jaya hūṃ phaṭ (half tone two)'
This mudra and great mantra can accomplish all dharmas.
Heart Mudra of All Yakṣas (a type of spirit) and Rākṣasas (a type of demon)
With both hands in flat palms, the index, middle, and thumb fingers tightly touching to form the mudra. While forming this mudra, recite the great mantra:
'Oṃ namo stu (two combined) Te bhūte śvarā (elongated) ya (one) Na ṇā ku pa ra śya (elongated) Nu ma tu (two) Mahā (elongated) ṃ na (elongated) dhi pa ti nā (three) Vai śra (two combined) va ṇa su ta (four) Hūṃ ci ti svāhā (elongated five)'
This mudra and great mantra are good at subduing all celestial bodies and all Yakṣas, Rākṣasas, Bhūtas (ghosts), etc. When forming this mudra and reciting the mantra, those Yakṣas, etc., will all scatter. If they do not, their heads will split into seven pieces.
Mudra of All Devas (gods)
Do not change the previous mudra. Open the two index fingers and extend the two little fingers. While forming this mudra, recite the great mantra:
'Oṃ pra ma gu hi ya (two combined) ka (one) jva (two combined) ra jva (two combined) ra (two) pra (two combined) jva (two combined) ra hūṃ (three)'
This mudra and great mantra can also accomplish all dharmas.
Heart Mudra of Na ṇā Deva
Do not change the previous mudra. Make the two index fingers into a ring shape, and the two middle fingers into a hook shape. Spread open the two little fingers to form the mudra. While forming this mudra, recite the heart mantra:
'Oṃ he ra he ra (one) pra (two combined) he ra svāhā (elongated two)'
At this time, Na ṇā Deva, after speaking this mudra and mantra, further said, 'If practitioners wish to accomplish all dharmas, they should constantly practice the three mysteries, namely Samādhi (meditative absorption), mudras, and great mantras. By practicing in accordance with the Dharma, all matters of accomplishment will be successful.'

又法若行人慾于論義得勝者。當用菖蒲誦大明。加持二十一遍。含于口中。凡所論義一切得勝。

【English Translation】 English version The Eighth Section on the Supreme Accomplishment of the Homa Ritual for Love and Respect
At that time, Narayana (Narayana, Vishnu) again spoke the Great Mantra, saying:

If a practitioner wishes to perform a Homa (Homa, fire ritual), they should use Udumbara wood, white mustard seeds, Atma Rudhira, etc., and recite the Great Mantra (Maha-mantra, great mantra) together while performing the Homa. All endeavors will be accomplished.
Furthermore, if a person desires to gain the love and respect of all, they should use benzoin incense, recite the Great Mantra, empower it twenty-one times, and burn it to fumigate their body. All who see them will show love and respect.
Furthermore, if a practitioner wishes to be victorious in debate, they should use sweet flag, recite the Great Mantra, empower it twenty-one times, and hold it in their mouth. They will be victorious in all debates.
Furthermore, if a person wishes to enter battle and be victorious, they should use Aquilaria agallocha, recite this Great Mantra, empower it twenty-one times, and burn it to fumigate their body. They will be victorious in all directions.
Again, he spoke the Great Mantra, saying:
'Ava Saro Ava Saro(1) Agaccha Agaccha Svabhavana Svaha(2)'
If one wishes to send Narayana back to his original abode, first perform a Homa using the previous Great Mantra, and then recite this Great Mantra seven times. At that time, Narayana will return to his original abode.

This great mantra has great power. If you use this great mantra to bless benzoin and burn it, all the affairs of the planets and constellations will be accomplished.
Furthermore, the practitioner should first purify himself, and then recite this great mantra, blessing benzoin twenty-one times. Burn this incense in front of the daytime image of Nāṇā deva (Nāṇā deva) and offer white food. Then the practitioner recites this great mantra a thousand times, and when the number is complete, the image will shake and emit light, telling the practitioner: 'You have completely accomplished the ritual maṇḍala (maṇḍala) of Nāṇā deva (Nāṇā deva).' After the practitioner sees this auspicious sign, he immediately offers argha (argha). From then on, everything the practitioner does will be accomplished.
Also, the method is to use benzoin to recite the great mantra, bless it and burn it to fumigate the sword, and recite the great mantra to bless the sword, which will then move and emit light, doing all kinds of things. Even the triśūla (triśūla), vajra (vajra), pestle (pestle), mudgara (mudgara), and other weapons should be blessed with benzoin and fumigated as before, and they will all move and emit light, and be able to do all kinds of things.

【English Translation】 English version When reciting the great mantra while offering siddha incense (a type of incense), the argha vase (a vase containing holy water) will naturally move and even emit light.
Again, create a mandala (sacred diagram) as before. Offer various fragrant flowers. Then, use a bright mirror, apply fragrance to the back, and place it in the mandala. Next, use white mustard seeds and grain flowers, recite the great mantra to bless them, and strike the surface of the mirror. Burn benzoin incense (a type of incense) and recite the great mantra three times. The mirror will immediately move and emit great light. Then, one can see past, present, and future events in the mirror. One can also see the Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings in the heavenly realm, down to the Dragon Palace, and everything in between. Even one's own lifespan and the lifespan of others can be known.
Again, the practitioner should first fast and purify themselves, and wear new, good clothes. Then, take a kapala (skull cup) that is complete with auspicious marks according to the Dharma, bathe it with fragrant water to make it extremely pure. Apply fragrant ointment to it, and in the middle, apply fragrant oil. Then, the practitioner should use five-colored powders to create a square mandala (sacred diagram) according to the Dharma. At the four gates of the mandala, place four argha vases (vases containing holy water) filled with fragrant water. Place four silver bowls filled with bali offerings (food offerings). Place four bowls of flowers. Place four swords and five-colored banners. Arrange these items alternately. Then, in the center of the mandala, place three kapalas (skull cups). Then, take one of the kapalas (skull cups) from before, recite the great mantra to bless it seven times, and place it on top of the three kapalas (skull cups). Then, burn benzoin incense (a type of incense), recite the great mantra, bless it, and snap the fingers three times. That kapala (skull cup) will immediately emit light. The practitioner should look at it and see things as in the mirror before. Even one can see Narayana (a deity) and his retinue, who will speak to the practitioner and say that all the practitioner seeks will be fulfilled as desired. Like the above mandala (sacred diagram) and even the kapala (skull cup) accomplishment methods, any man or woman who generates a courageous, firm, and beneficial mind, and performs this method, will achieve success. Except for those who commit the five heinous crimes, slander the Buddha's teachings, and do not recognize kindness. Not only will they not achieve success, but they will also not be able to see or hear this Dharma.
Again, if a practitioner wishes to enter the Asura palace and the Dragon Palace, they should recite the great mantra twenty-one times according to the Dharma, and burn benzoin incense (a type of incense), and they will be able to enter. Also, burn benzoin incense (a type of incense) and recite the great mantra, and strike with white mustard seeds.
于龍潭。複用佉你啰木作橛。釘龍潭中即便禁制。若欲如故。當出彼橛燒安悉香即得如故。若欲制伏怨陣。當用鐵作橛依法誦大明。加持二十一遍。燒安悉香薰。釘一大樹下怨陣即制。若取彼橛即得如故。若欲解諸宿曜執持者。當燒安悉香薰所執人身。誦大明加持白芥子及水。打灑彼身即得除解。欲除諸瘧病者。當用五色線誦大明加持已。燒安悉香薰系患者身瘧病即差。

If you want to subdue the enemy's army, use iron to make a peg, recite the Great Bright Mantra according to the law, empower it twenty-one times, burn benzoin incense to fumigate it, and nail it under a large tree, and the enemy's army will be subdued. If you take out that peg, it will return to its original state. If you want to release those held by the planets and constellations, burn benzoin incense to fumigate the body of the person being held, recite the Great Bright Mantra to empower white mustard seeds and water, and sprinkle it on that person's body, and they will be released.
