大興善寺翻經院灌頂阿阇梨述
凡施八方天先辦所施飲食。五味雜粥稠煮勿令稀。五味者粳米菉豆油麻牛乳蘇。各量多少。以意令其有味。著少許鹽切須護凈。盛于瓷盆。小蠟燭十二枚磨白檀香。時華清水于所施處。八方各各涂一小壇。小壇上先置凈碗。其粥香華各各令人擎隨唸誦人後。唸誦人先當至心啟請八方天王並其眷屬令赴道場各依本位先東方誦帝釋真言。先洗清水少許即下涂香。次下時華次下粥次蠟燭插於粥上次以燒香三度奉獻。口誦真言兼求擁護。乞天王歡喜道場主福祐。次東南方火天方亦爾。各誦本天真言次第而施。次南方焰魔天。次西南方羅剎天。次西方水天。次西北方風天。次北方多聞天。次東北方伊舍那天末後留少許。余粥多著清水。于粥中著少餅子果子涂香時華。總著了。誦甘露真言。以手印加持。令人擎送凈處瀉于地上施與諸惡鬼神。愿擁護施主歡喜。更莫回顧便須往還。

凡是供養八方天，首先要準備供養的飲食。用五種食材混合煮成濃稠的粥，不要太稀。五種食材是粳米、綠豆、油麻、牛乳和酥油。每種食材的用量多少，可以根據自己的想法調配味道。放少許鹽，一定要注意保持清潔。將粥盛在瓷盆裡，準備十二枚小蠟燭，磨一些白檀香，準備一些時令鮮花和清水，在供養的地方，八個方位各涂一個小壇。在小壇上先放一個乾淨的碗，然後讓每個人拿著粥、香和鮮花，跟在念誦人的後面。唸誦人首先要至誠地祈請八方天王及其眷屬降臨道場，各自安坐于本位。先從東方開始，誦唸帝釋天（Indra）的真言。先灑少許清水，然後塗上涂香，再獻上時令鮮花，接著獻上粥，然後將蠟燭插在粥上，再燒香三次進行奉獻。口中誦唸真言，同時祈求天王護佑，祈求天王歡喜，道場主得到福佑。接下來是東南方的火天（Agni），也按照這樣的方式進行。各自誦唸本尊天神的真言，依次進行供養。然後是南方的焰摩天（Yama），西南方的羅剎天（Rakshasa），西方的水天（Varuna），西北方的風天（Vayu），北方的多聞天（Vaishravana），東北方的伊舍那天（Ishanadeva）。最後留少許粥，在粥中加入大量清水，再加入一些餅子、果子、涂香和時令鮮花，全部放好后，誦唸甘露真言，用手印加持，讓人拿著送到乾淨的地方，倒在地上，佈施給各種惡鬼神，愿他們擁護施主，心生歡喜。送完后不要回頭看，立即返回。

【English Translation】 English version The Ritual Text for Offering to the Eight Directional Deities
No. 1294
The Ritual Text for Offering to the Eight Directional Deities, One Volume
Narrated by the Consecration Acharya of the Translation Institute of Daxingshan Temple
Whenever offering to the Eight Directional Deities, first prepare the food to be offered. Cook a thick porridge with a mixture of five ingredients, do not make it too thin. The five ingredients are japonica rice, mung beans, sesame, cow's milk, and ghee. Adjust the quantity of each ingredient according to your preference to achieve a good flavor. Add a little salt, and be sure to keep it clean. Place the porridge in a porcelain basin, prepare twelve small wax candles, grind some white sandalwood incense, and prepare seasonal flowers and clean water. At the place of offering, apply a small altar in each of the eight directions. First place a clean bowl on each small altar, then have people hold the porridge, incense, and flowers, following behind the person reciting the mantras. The reciter should first sincerely invite the Eight Directional Deities and their retinues to come to the Mandala, each taking their respective positions. Starting from the east, recite the mantra of Indra (Emperor Shitian). First sprinkle a little clean water, then apply scented paste, then offer seasonal flowers, then offer the porridge, then insert the candles into the porridge, and then offer incense three times. Recite the mantra while praying for the deities' protection, asking the deities to be pleased and the host of the Mandala to receive blessings. Next, perform the same ritual for Agni (Fire Deity) in the southeast direction. Recite the mantra of each deity in order and make offerings. Then, offer to Yama (Yama Deva) in the south, Rakshasa (Rakshasa Deva) in the southwest, Varuna (Water Deity) in the west, Vayu (Wind Deity) in the northwest, Vaishravana (Deity of the North) in the north, and Ishanadeva (Ishanadeva) in the northeast. Finally, leave a little porridge, add a large amount of clean water to it, and then add some cakes, fruits, scented paste, and seasonal flowers. After adding everything, recite the Sweet Dew Mantra, empower it with hand mudras, and have someone take it to a clean place, pour it on the ground, and give it to all the evil ghosts and spirits, wishing them to protect the donor and be pleased. After offering, do not look back and return immediately.

【English Translation】 English version: oṃ su me ru ka rpa ya oṃ su ru su ru pra su ru pra su ru svā hā
After completing all the offerings, wash your hands. Then, in the maṇḍala (道場), bid farewell and send off the holy assembly. Collect the offered items. Then, smear the maṇḍala (壇).
The mantra of Brahmā (梵天) above (like taking refuge):
oṃ vra hma ne svā hā
The mantra of the Earth Goddess (地天) below:
oṃ vṛ thi vyai svā hā
Let one person hold each of the six items, such as water, following behind the giver. Those who have finished giving should stand in the place where they have not yet given. Proceed in this order, and be sure to take these items. Pay attention to the candles, and do not let them go out until all the offerings have been made.

If someone seeks all auspicious matters, on the day the constructed altar is completed, in the early part of the night, they must first make offerings to the Eight Directional Heavenly Kings, as well as Brahma, Earthly Deities, all the constellations, ghosts, and spirits, etc. Only then can they dismiss the holy assembly and begin dismantling the altar. If one acts according to this Dharma, all the sages and virtuous ones will be pleased.
