佛說療痔病經

大唐三藏義凈奉　制譯

如是我聞：

一時，薄伽梵在王舍大城竹林園中，與大苾芻眾五百人俱。

時，有眾多苾芻身患痔病，形體羸瘦、痛苦縈纏，于日夜中，極受憂惱。時，具壽阿難陀見是事已，詣世尊所，頂禮雙足，在一面立，白言：「世尊！今王舍城多有苾芻身患痔病，形體羸瘦、痛苦縈纏，于日夜中，極受憂惱。世尊！此諸痔病，云何救療？」

佛告阿難陀：「汝可聽此《療痔病經》，讀誦受持、繫心勿忘，亦於他人，廣為宣說，此諸痔病，悉得除差。所謂：風痔、熱痔、癊痔、三合痔、血痔、腹中痔、鼻內痔、齒痔、舌痔、眼痔、耳痔、頂痔、手足痔、脊背痔、屎痔……遍身支節所生諸痔，如是痔瘺，悉皆乾燥、墮落、消滅，畢差無疑。皆應誦持如是神咒。」

即說咒曰：

「怛侄他　揭賴米　室利　室利　魔揭室至　三磨[革*夭]都　莎訶

「此咒(丹藏云)：

「怛侄他　頞闌帝　頞藍謎　室利鞞　室裡室裡　磨羯失質　三婆跋睹　莎訶

「阿難陀！於此北方，有大雪山王。中有大莎羅樹，名曰『難勝』。有三種華：一

我是這樣聽說的：

一時，佛（薄伽梵）在王舍大城（Rājagṛha）的竹林園（Veṇuvana）中，與五百位大比丘（bhikṣu）在一起。

當時，有很多比丘身患痔病，身體虛弱消瘦，被痛苦纏繞，日夜憂愁苦惱。具壽阿難陀（Ānanda）看到這種情況后，前往世尊（Bhagavat）處，頂禮佛足，站在一旁，稟告說：『世尊！現在王舍城有很多比丘身患痔病，身體虛弱消瘦，被痛苦纏繞，日夜憂愁苦惱。世尊！這些痔病，要如何救治呢？』

佛告訴阿難陀：『你可以聽聞這部《療痔病經》，讀誦受持，用心記住不要忘記，也要為他人廣泛宣說，這些痔病，都能夠痊癒。包括：風痔、熱痔、癊痔、三合痔、血痔、腹中痔、鼻內痔、齒痔、舌痔、眼痔、耳痔、頂痔、手足痔、脊背痔、屎痔……遍佈全身各處所生的各種痔瘡，像這樣的痔瘺，都會幹燥、脫落、消滅，完全痊癒無疑。都應該誦持這樣的神咒。』

隨即說了咒語：

『怛侄他（Tadyatha）揭賴米（Gale mi）室利（Śrī）室利（Śrī）魔揭室至（Makaśīrṣi）三磨[革*夭]都（Samarāṭṭu）莎訶（Svāhā）』

此咒（丹藏云）：

『怛侄他（Tadyatha）頞闌帝（Arandhe）頞藍謎（Alandhe）室利鞞（Śrīve）室裡室裡（Śrī Śrī）磨羯失質（Makaśīrṣi）三婆跋睹（Sambhavaṭṭu）莎訶（Svāhā）』

『阿難陀！在這北方，有大雪山王（Himavat）。山中有一棵大的莎羅樹（śāla），名叫『難勝』。有三種花：一

【English Translation】 English version The Buddha Speaks of the Sutra for Curing Hemorrhoids

Translated under Imperial Order by the Tripiṭaka Master Yijing of the Great Tang Dynasty

Thus have I heard:

At one time, the Bhagavan (Buddha) was in the Bamboo Grove (Veṇuvana) of the great city of Rajagṛha (王舍大城), together with a large assembly of five hundred bhikṣus (苾芻).

At that time, many bhikṣus were suffering from hemorrhoids, their bodies emaciated and weak, tormented by pain, and extremely distressed day and night. The Venerable Ānanda (阿難陀), seeing this situation, went to the World-Honored One (Bhagavat), prostrated himself at his feet, stood to one side, and said: 'World-Honored One! Now in the city of Rajagṛha, many bhikṣus are suffering from hemorrhoids, their bodies emaciated and weak, tormented by pain, and extremely distressed day and night. World-Honored One! How can these hemorrhoids be cured?'

The Buddha told Ānanda: 'You should listen to this Sutra for Curing Hemorrhoids, recite and uphold it, keep it in mind and do not forget it, and also widely proclaim it to others. All these hemorrhoids will be completely healed. These include: wind hemorrhoids, heat hemorrhoids, phlegm hemorrhoids, combined hemorrhoids, blood hemorrhoids, abdominal hemorrhoids, nasal hemorrhoids, tooth hemorrhoids, tongue hemorrhoids, eye hemorrhoids, ear hemorrhoids, head hemorrhoids, hand and foot hemorrhoids, back hemorrhoids, anal hemorrhoids… all kinds of hemorrhoids arising throughout the body, in all its parts. Such fistulas will all dry up, fall off, disappear, and be completely cured without doubt. All should recite and uphold this divine mantra.'

Then he spoke the mantra:

'Tadyatha (怛侄他) Gale mi (揭賴米) Śrī (室利) Śrī (室利) Makaśīrṣi (魔揭室至) Samarāṭṭu (三磨[革*夭]都) Svāhā (莎訶)'

This mantra (according to the Tibetan version):

'Tadyatha (怛侄他) Arandhe (頞闌帝) Alandhe (頞藍謎) Śrīve (室利鞞) Śrī Śrī (室裡室裡) Makaśīrṣi (磨羯失質) Sambhavaṭṭu (三婆跋睹) Svāhā (莎訶)'

'Ānanda! To the north of here is the great Snow Mountain King (Himavat 大雪山王). In it is a large śāla tree (莎羅樹) called 'Difficult to Conquer' (難勝). It has three kinds of flowers: one

者初生、二者圓滿、三者乾枯。猶如彼華，乾燥落時，我諸痔病亦復如是，勿復血出，亦勿膿流，永除苦痛，悉皆乾燥。又復若常誦此經者，得宿住智，能憶過去七生之事。咒法成就，莎訶。」

又說咒曰：

「怛侄他　占米　占米　舍占米　占沒你　舍占泥　莎訶」

佛說是經已，時，具壽阿難陀及諸大眾，皆大歡喜，信受奉行。

佛說療痔病經

【現代漢語翻譯】現代漢語譯本：佛說：『初生、圓滿、乾枯。就像那花，乾燥掉落時，我的各種痔病也會像這樣，不再出血，也不再流膿，永遠消除痛苦，全部都乾燥。』又如果經常誦讀此經的人，能獲得宿住智（能夠回憶過去生世的智慧），能夠憶起過去七生的事情。咒法成就，莎訶（愿此咒成就）。

又說咒語如下：

『怛侄他（即說咒曰），占米，占米，舍占米，占沒你，舍占泥，莎訶（愿此咒成就）。』

佛說完這部經后，當時，具壽阿難陀（佛陀的十大弟子之一）以及所有大眾，都非常歡喜，相信並接受奉行。

佛說療痔病經

【English Translation】 English version: The Buddha said: 'Firstly, they are born; secondly, they are full; thirdly, they are dried up. Just like that flower, when it dries and falls, my various hemorrhoids will also be like this, no longer bleeding, nor flowing with pus, forever eliminating suffering, all of them drying up.' Furthermore, if one constantly recites this sutra, one will obtain the Knowledge of Past Abodes (the wisdom to recall past lives), able to remember the events of the past seven lives. May the mantra be accomplished, Svaha (may this mantra be accomplished).'

Again, the mantra is spoken as follows:

'Tadyatha (thus it is said), Jammi, Jammi, Shajammi, Jammuni, Shajanni, Svaha (may this mantra be accomplished).'

After the Buddha finished speaking this sutra, at that time, the Venerable Ananda (one of the ten great disciples of the Buddha) and all the assembly were greatly delighted, believed, accepted, and practiced it.
