妙臂印幢陀羅尼經
大唐于闐三藏實叉難陀奉 制譯
如是我聞。一時佛在雞羅娑山諸獸依處妙宮殿中。與大比丘眾千二百五十人。又與無量菩薩摩訶薩俱。文殊師利法王子而為上首。靡不皆如童子之形。並賢護等十六丈夫。
爾時世尊以正念智。為諸天人演說法要皆令歡喜。時大梵王及諸天龍夜叉乾闥婆阿修羅迦樓羅緊那羅摩睺羅伽人非人等。各起合掌前白佛言。世尊有諸眾生。由造種種罪惡業故。應墮地獄餓鬼畜生。閻魔羅界備受眾苦。唯愿世尊大悲。為說除滅如是苦惱方便。令彼眾生皆得解脫諸惡道難。時觀自在菩薩摩訶薩。復與無量持咒大仙前後圍繞。頂禮佛足白言世尊。惟垂愍念以善方便救諸世間。佛言善男子。有陀羅尼名妙臂印幢。若能常唸誦習思惟。速得除滅五無間罪。富貴安樂大姓家生。爾時世尊即說咒曰。

【現代漢語翻譯】 現代漢語譯本 如是我聞。一時，佛在雞羅娑山（Mount Kailash）諸獸棲息的妙宮殿中，與一千二百五十位大比丘，以及無量菩薩摩訶薩（bodhisattva-mahāsattvas）聚集在一起。文殊師利（Mañjuśrī）法王子為首，他們都呈現童子之形，還有賢護等十六位丈夫。 當時，世尊以正念和智慧，為諸天人和眾生演說佛法要義，使他們都感到歡喜。這時，大梵天王（Mahābrahmā）以及諸天、龍（Nāga）、夜叉（Yakṣa）、乾闥婆（Gandharva）、阿修羅（Asura）、迦樓羅（Garuda）、緊那羅（Kinnara）、摩睺羅伽（Mahoraga）等人和非人等，各自合掌向前，對佛說：『世尊，有些眾生因為造作種種罪惡，應當墮入地獄、餓鬼、畜生道和閻魔羅界（realm of Yama），遭受各種痛苦。唯愿世尊大發慈悲，為我們宣說消除這些苦惱的方法，使那些眾生都能夠解脫諸惡道的苦難。』當時，觀自在菩薩摩訶薩（Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva），又與無量持咒大仙前後圍繞，頂禮佛足，說道：『世尊，懇請您慈悲憐憫，用善巧方便救度世間。』佛說：『善男子，有一種陀羅尼（dhāraṇī）名叫妙臂印幢，如果能夠經常唸誦、學習和思惟，就能迅速消除五無間罪（five heinous crimes），獲得富貴安樂，出生于大姓人家。』當時，世尊就說了這個咒語： 『怛侄他 迦啰迦啰（一）枳利枳利 句嚕句嚕（三）娑啰娑啰（四）徙唎徙唎（五）蘇嚕囌嚕 薩婆佛陀阿婆盧枳帝（七）陀啰陀啰（八）達摩阿婆盧枳帝（九）蔗啰蔗啰（十）僧伽阿提瑟恥帝（十一）跋啰跋啰 阿佞』
【English Translation】 English version Thus have I heard. At one time, the Buddha was in the wonderful palace on Mount Kailash (Mount Kailash), a place where various beasts dwell, together with twelve hundred and fifty great Bhikshus (bhikkhus), and also with immeasurable Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas (bodhisattva-mahāsattvas). Mañjuśrī (Mañjuśrī), the Dharma Prince, was the leader, and they all appeared in the form of youths, along with the sixteen heroes such as Bhadrapala. At that time, the World-Honored One, with right mindfulness and wisdom, expounded the essential Dharma to the devas (gods) and humans, causing them all to rejoice. Then, Mahābrahmā (Mahābrahmā), the Great Brahma King, and the various devas, Nagas (Nāga), Yakshas (Yakṣa), Gandharvas (Gandharva), Asuras (Asura), Garudas (Garuda), Kinnaras (Kinnara), Mahoragas (Mahoraga), humans, and non-humans, each folded their palms and stepped forward, saying to the Buddha: 'World-Honored One, there are beings who, due to creating various evil karmas, should fall into hell, the realm of hungry ghosts, the animal realm, and the realm of Yama (realm of Yama), enduring all kinds of suffering. We beseech the World-Honored One to have great compassion and to speak of a means to eliminate such suffering, so that those beings may all be liberated from the difficulties of the evil paths.' At that time, Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva-Mahasattva (Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva), surrounded by immeasurable great mantra-holding sages, prostrated at the Buddha's feet and said: 'World-Honored One, we beseech you to have compassion and to save the world with skillful means.' The Buddha said: 'Good man, there is a dharani (dhāraṇī) called the Wondrous Arm Seal Banner. If one can constantly recite, study, and contemplate it, one can quickly eliminate the five heinous crimes (five heinous crimes), attain wealth and happiness, and be born into a great family.' At that time, the World-Honored One then spoke this mantra: 'Tadyatha kara kara (1) kili kili kuru kuru (3) sara sara (4) sili sili (5) suru suru sarva buddha avalokite (7) dhara dhara (8) dharma avalokite (9) cara cara (10) sangha adhisthite (11) bhara bhara aneng'

善男子此陀羅尼。恒河沙等諸佛所說。阿難佛世難遇人身難得。受持此咒轉復為難。善男子我念往昔。毗婆尸佛次第乃至迦葉如來。咸為我說此陀羅尼。普欲安樂諸眾生故。于諸佛所皆親聽受。爾時世尊說此咒已。觀自在菩薩摩訶薩等。及天龍八部一切眾會。聞佛所說皆大歡喜信受奉行。

善男子，此陀羅尼，如恒河沙數諸佛所說。阿難，在佛世難得遇到，人身難得獲得，受持此咒更是難上加難。善男子，我回憶往昔，從毗婆尸佛（Vipaśyi Buddha）開始，次第乃至迦葉如來（Kāśyapa Tathāgata），都曾為我說此陀羅尼，普遍爲了安樂一切眾生。我在諸佛處都親自聽受。當時世尊說完此咒后，觀自在菩薩摩訶薩（Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva Mahāsattva）等，以及天龍八部一切眾會，聽聞佛所說，都非常歡喜，信受奉行。

【English Translation】 English version: Kā (Twelve) Buddhakoṭi-bhāṣita (Thirteen) Nānā Nānā (Fourteen) Sarva-āvaraṇa (Removing all obstacles) (Fifteen) Sarva-duḥkha-apāyana (Removing all suffering) (Sixteen) Bhrītā-bhrītā (Seventeen) Dhiṣṭhā-dhiṣṭhā (Eighteen) Taṭa-taṭa (Nineteen) Sphuṭaya-sphuṭaya (Twenty) Sarva-āvaraṇa-apāya (Removing all obstacles and evil paths) (Twenty-one) Durgatiṃ (Twenty-two) Svāhā (Auspicious completion) (Twenty-three)
Good man, this dhāraṇī is spoken by Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. Ānanda, it is difficult to encounter the Buddha's presence in the world, it is difficult to obtain a human body, and it is even more difficult to uphold this mantra. Good man, I recall in the past, from Vipaśyi Buddha to Kāśyapa Tathāgata, they all spoke this dhāraṇī for me, universally for the sake of bringing peace and happiness to all sentient beings. I personally heard and received it at the places of all the Buddhas. At that time, after the World Honored One finished speaking this mantra, Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva Mahāsattva and all the assemblies of the eight classes of gods and dragons, upon hearing what the Buddha said, were all very happy, believed, accepted, and practiced it respectfully.
