爾時世尊告阿難言。阿難有尊勝大明王。乃是過去一切諸佛之所宣說。阿難彼七俱胝如來亦隨喜宣說。我今復為未來世中一切眾生宣揚顯說。汝當諦聽。阿難若有善男子善女人。聞此尊勝大明欲受持讀誦者。先須清凈身心。歸命一切諸佛一切尊法一切聖眾。又復歸命大悲觀自在菩薩摩訶薩。亦復歸命擁護娑婆世界主。乃至一切持明天等。歸命如是諸佛菩薩及聖眾已。然後可誦。即說尊勝大明王曰。

爾時，世尊告訴阿難說：『阿難，有尊勝大明王（Uṣṇīṣa-vijaya-dhāraṇī），乃是過去一切諸佛所宣說的。阿難，那七俱胝（koṭi，一俱胝等於一千萬）如來也隨喜宣說。我如今又為未來世中的一切眾生宣揚顯說，你應當仔細聽。阿難，如果有善男子、善女人，聽聞此尊勝大明，想要受持讀誦，首先必須清凈身心，歸命一切諸佛、一切尊法、一切聖眾。又歸命大悲觀自在菩薩摩訶薩（Mahāsattva Avalokiteśvara）。也歸命擁護娑婆世界（Sahā world）之主，乃至一切持明天等。歸命如是諸佛菩薩及聖眾之後，然後可以誦持。』即說尊勝大明王曰：

【English Translation】 English version The Uṣṇīṣa-vijaya-dhāraṇī Sūtra Spoken by the Buddha
Translated by the Tripitaka Master Shi Hu, Minister of the Honglu Temple and Great Master who transmits the Dharma, under imperial order from the Western Heaven.
At that time, the World Honored One told Ananda: 'Ananda, there is the Uṣṇīṣa-vijaya-dhāraṇī (尊勝大明王), which was proclaimed by all the Buddhas of the past. Ananda, those seven koṭis (俱胝, a koṭi equals ten million) of Tathagatas also rejoiced in proclaiming it. Now, I will again proclaim and reveal it for all sentient beings in the future. You should listen carefully. Ananda, if there are good men or good women who hear this Uṣṇīṣa-vijaya-dhāraṇī and wish to receive, uphold, read, and recite it, they must first purify their body and mind, take refuge in all the Buddhas, all the honored Dharmas, and all the Sanghas. Furthermore, take refuge in the Mahāsattva Avalokiteśvara (大悲觀自在菩薩摩訶薩). Also, take refuge in the lord who protects the Sahā world (娑婆世界), and even all the Vidyadharas (持明天) and others. After taking refuge in such Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Sanghas, then they may recite it.' Then the Buddha spoke the Uṣṇīṣa-vijaya-dhāraṇī, saying:

一切冤家發噁心者極毒害者。若欲於我及他眾生。作諸惡法使生諸病或慾障閉令眼不見令耳不聞。鼻不辯香口不能語。乃至一切身份咸欲繫縛者。而彼冤家或自作或令他作。乃至彼類隨喜之者悉皆破壞。

一切魑魅魍魎吠多拏旋風鬼。諸如是等一切鬼神。欲起噁心行不饒益者。退散四方遠離而去。

一切人非人等發起噁心。禁制於我及他眾生。使其狂亂或如癡迷。或已作或欲作皆悉解除。

王怖賊怖水火等怖。拏吉你怖毗舍遮怖。供畔拏怖羯吒布單曩怖。影鬼怖諸如是等惡鬼神怖或在道路或在曠野。晝夜行時一切安隱。又復冤家見面除解聞語除解。如親眷屬相見歡喜。

一切邪明截斷破壞。或自焚燒猶如灰燼。或

【English Translation】 English version Zrulu zrulu zrulu zrulu zrulu zrulu zrulu zrulu, sarva (all) bhuta (beings) pratishtha (relying) dangkaluomi (I do), svaha (accomplished).
To all enemies who harbor evil intentions and are extremely malicious, if they intend to inflict various evils upon me or other sentient beings, causing us illness, or if they seek to obstruct and close off our senses, rendering our eyes unable to see, our ears unable to hear, our noses unable to distinguish scents, our mouths unable to speak, and even seeking to bind all parts of our bodies. May these enemies, whether they act themselves or instruct others to act, and even those who rejoice and agree with them, be utterly destroyed.
Duru duru duru duru, svaha.
May all goblins and monsters, vetala (corpse-possessing spirits), whirlwind ghosts, and all such ghosts and spirits, if they intend to arise with evil intentions and act in ways that are not beneficial, retreat to the four directions and depart far away.
Zala zala, svaha. Mala mala, svaha. Mili mili, svaha. Duru duru, svaha.
May all humans and non-humans, if they arise with evil intentions, imprisoning and restricting me and other sentient beings, causing us to be mad or deluded like fools, whether they have already acted or intend to act, be completely released.
Nila keshe (blue hair), svaha. Pita keshe (yellow hair), svaha. Rohita keshe (red hair), svaha. Avadata keshe (white hair), svaha. Shveta vastra (white clothes) dharaniye, svaha.
May we be free from the fear of kings, the fear of thieves, the fear of water and fire, the fear of dakini (female demons), the fear of pisaca (flesh-eating ghosts), the fear of kumbhanda (pot-bellied demons), the fear of kataputana (foul-smelling demons), the fear of shadow ghosts, and the fear of all such evil ghosts and spirits. Whether on roads or in wilderness, whether walking during the day or night, may all be peaceful and secure. Furthermore, may hatred be eliminated when enemies meet, and misunderstandings be resolved when words are heard, so that they rejoice as if seeing beloved relatives.
Tadyatha (thus it is): huru huru, niji niji lini niji lini, svaha.
May all evil spells be cut off and destroyed, or burned as if reduced to ashes. Or
自傷害或自迷。亂或釘橛崩倒或隱沒不現。或依空作法自然墮落。或有文字障礙不行。焰魔王界振動驚怖。

若魔若魔民以噁心相向。或自在天或夜叉夜叉女等。乃至一切食血者。食肉者食脂膏者。食精氣者食涎沫者。諸如是等所執所縛悉皆解脫。乃至男女受胎處胎。初生之時皆得安隱。
阿難此尊勝大明王是世間母。一切眾生咸同其子。阿難若善男子善女人。得聞如是尊勝大明。能受持讀誦者。是人無始已來所有罪業皆得除滅。一切吉祥而能增長。見者歡喜所作成就。又復善男子善女人。以此明王書于紙素。或頂或臂而常戴持。一切不祥悉皆遠離。于睡夢中亦無惡境。火不能燒水不能漂。一切諸惡皆不侵害。又或掬水誦此明王。加持已吸在鼻中。所有在身宿業亦得除滅。復增善巧恒得安樂。一切邪明咒詛不饒益事。以此明王加持凈水或線或白芥子。解除自退。阿難我先告汝。此大明王乃是過去七俱胝如來同共宣說。我今復為未來眾生無福無德。有諸惡鬼種種惱亂不得安隱。是故宣說汝善受持當使未來流傳不斷。與諸眾生而作恃怙。
爾時世尊說是尊勝大明王已。尊者阿難歡喜信受禮佛而退。

阿難（Ananda），這尊勝大明王是世間的母親，一切眾生都如同她的孩子。阿難，如果善男子善女人，能夠聽聞如此尊勝大明，能夠受持讀誦，這個人無始以來所有的罪業都能得到消除，一切吉祥都能增長，見到的人都歡喜，所做的事情都能成就。又，善男子善女人，用這個明王書寫在紙上，或戴在頭頂或手臂上，一切不祥都會遠離，在睡夢中也沒有惡境，火不能燒，水不能漂，一切諸惡都不能侵害。又或者掬起水，誦此明王，加持后吸入鼻中，所有在身上的宿業也能得到消除，又能增加善巧，恒常得到安樂。一切邪惡的明咒詛咒，不能帶來利益的事情，用這個明王加持過的凈水或線或白芥子，解除后自然退散。阿難，我先前告訴你，這個大明王是過去七俱胝（koti）如來（Tathagata）共同宣說的。我今天又為未來眾生，沒有福德，有各種惡鬼種種惱亂，不得安穩，所以宣說，你好好受持，應當使未來流傳不斷，與眾生作為依靠。
這時，世尊（Buddha）說完這尊勝大明王后，尊者阿難歡喜信受，禮佛後退下。

【English Translation】 English version: Self-harm or self-delusion. Confusion or stakes collapsing or disappearing. Or relying on space to perform magic and naturally falling. Or having textual obstacles that cannot be passed. The realm of Yama (Yama's realm) trembles in fear.
Tadyatha sata sata viti viti viti viti viti bhuru bhuru muru muru svaha
If a demon or demon people treat each other with malice. Or Isvara (Isvara) or Yaksa (Yaksa), Yaksa women, etc. Even all those who eat blood, those who eat meat, those who eat fat, those who eat **qi, those who eat saliva. All those who are held and bound in this way are liberated. Even men and women who are conceived, in the womb, and at the time of their birth can obtain peace.
Ananda, this Victorious Great Bright King is the mother of the world, and all sentient beings are like her children. Ananda, if a good man or good woman can hear this Victorious Great Brightness, and can receive, uphold, read, and recite it, all the karmic debts of this person from beginningless time can be eliminated, all auspiciousness can be increased, those who see it are happy, and what is done can be accomplished. Furthermore, good men and good women, write this Bright King on paper, or wear it on the head or arm, all inauspiciousness will be far away, and there will be no evil realms in dreams, fire cannot burn, water cannot float, and all evils cannot harm. Or scoop up water, recite this Bright King, bless it, and inhale it into the nose, all the accumulated karma on the body can also be eliminated, and good skills can be increased, and constant peace can be obtained. All evil bright mantras and curses, things that cannot bring benefit, use this Bright King to bless clean water or thread or white mustard seeds, and after dissolving, they will naturally retreat. Ananda, I told you earlier, this Great Bright King was jointly proclaimed by the past seven kotis (koti) of Tathagatas (Tathagata). Today I am again speaking for future sentient beings, who have no merit, and are troubled by various evil ghosts, and cannot obtain peace, so I proclaim it, you should receive and uphold it well, and should make it spread continuously in the future, and be a reliance for sentient beings.
At this time, after the Buddha (Buddha) finished speaking this Victorious Great Bright King, the Venerable Ananda joyfully accepted it with faith, prostrated to the Buddha, and withdrew.
