我今依金剛頂經。演金剛蓮花達摩法要。先須入于灌頂三昧耶曼茶羅。發大菩提心。捨身命財饒益一切。勇猛精進隨念相應。慈悲喜捨無有間斷。如是之人方應修習。其曼茶羅畫像等法廣如余經所說。凡入精舍慾念誦時。先以五輪著地。頂禮本尊觀自在王如來。次禮北方不空成就如來乃至無動寶生遍照如來。悉皆依法至誠敬禮。雙膝而跪蓮花合掌。懺悔三業一切過咎。
我從無量劫 淪滯生死海 今以清凈心 發露而悔過 如諸佛所懺 我今亦如是 愿我及眾生 一切皆清凈
密言曰。

次應隨喜過現未來諸佛菩薩所集福智。
過去三世佛 菩薩與眾生 所集諸善根 合掌盡隨喜

我現在依據《金剛頂經》,闡述金剛蓮花達摩的法要。首先必須進入灌頂三昧耶曼茶羅(Samaya-mandala,誓約壇城),發起大菩提心,捨棄身命財產,饒益一切眾生。勇猛精進,隨念相應,慈悲喜捨,沒有間斷。這樣的人才應該修習。關於曼茶羅(mandala,壇城)的畫像等方法,詳細內容如其他經典所說。凡是進入精舍想要念誦時,先以五輪著地,頂禮本尊觀自在王如來(Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata,觀自在王如來)。然後禮拜北方不空成就如來(Amoghasiddhi,不空成就如來),乃至無動如來(不動明王),寶生如來(Ratnasambhava,寶生如來),遍照如來(Vairocana,遍照如來)。都應依法至誠恭敬地禮拜。雙膝跪地,蓮花合掌,懺悔身口意三業的一切過錯。

密言曰:

其次應當隨喜過去、現在、未來諸佛菩薩所積聚的福德和智慧。

其次應當右膝著地,虛心合掌置於頭頂上,觀想禮拜諸佛如來及菩薩的足。誦持密言說:

【English Translation】 English version The Practice of Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata According to the Vajraśekhara Sutra, One Volume
Translated by the Tripiṭaka Master Amoghavajra of the Da Guangxingsi Temple, with the title of Grand Master of Wisdom, who was appointed as Kaifu Yitong Sansi, Special Advanced Official of the Honglu Temple, Duke of Su of the State, granted an estate of three thousand households, bestowed with purple robes, posthumously awarded the title of Sikong, and posthumously named Dajian, under imperial decree.
I now, relying on the Vajraśekhara Sutra, expound the Dharma essentials of the Vajra Lotus Dharma. First, one must enter the Abhiṣeka Samaya-mandala (Samaya-mandala, the Mandala of Vows), generate the great Bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment), relinquish life and possessions, and benefit all beings. Be courageous and diligent, be in accordance with mindfulness, and have uninterrupted loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Only such a person should practice this. The methods for drawing the mandala (mandala, sacred diagram), etc., are extensively described in other sutras. Whenever entering the monastery to recite, first place the five wheels (five limbs) on the ground and prostrate to the principal deity, Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata (Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata, the Tathagata King of Avalokiteśvara). Then, pay homage to the northern Amoghasiddhi Tathagata (Amoghasiddhi, the Accomplishment of Non-Emptiness), and even to Achala (不動明王), Ratnasambhava (Ratnasambhava, the Jewel-Born Tathagata), and Vairocana (Vairocana, the Illuminating Tathagata). All should be respectfully worshiped with utmost sincerity according to the Dharma. Kneel on both knees, join the palms in the lotus position, and repent of all transgressions of the three karmas (body, speech, and mind).
From countless kalpas (aeons), I have been trapped in the sea of birth and death. Now, with a pure mind, I reveal and repent of my transgressions. As the Buddhas have repented, So do I now. May I and all beings Be completely purified.
The secret mantra says:
Oṃ (one) svā (two combined) bha (going tone) va śuddha (entering tone) dha (two) sarva dharma (three) svā (two combined) bha (going tone) va (four) śuddha (entering tone) dhaṃ (five)
Next, one should rejoice in the merits and wisdom accumulated by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, present, and future.
The Buddhas of the past, present, and future, Bodhisattvas and all beings, All the roots of goodness accumulated, I join my palms and rejoice in them all.
Next, one should kneel on the right knee, empty the mind, join the palms, and place them on the top of the head, visualizing the worship of the feet of all Buddhas, Tathagatas, and Bodhisattvas. Recite the secret mantra, saying:

禮諸佛已。依座印而坐入定思惟。觀無量如來周遍法界。行者己身悉在彼會。然後結秘密三昧耶印。堅固縛以檀慧禪智。相合而豎。以此驚覺聖眾。誦密言曰。

次應結一切如來歡喜悅意三昧耶印。準前印唯以忍愿入掌中。密言曰。

次結開心印。觀二乳上有怛啰(二合)吒字。以金剛縛。三拍開之。密言曰。

次結入智字印。於己面前。觀一紅蓮華上有娑字。以堅固縛禪智入中。進力相拄。想捻其字內於心中。誦密言曰。
唵(一)嚩日啰(二合引)吠舍(二)惡(三)
次結闔智字印。不易前印。進力拄禪智背。想闔心門。密言曰。

次結辟除結界印。戒方右押左外相交。忍愿相拄。以進力鉤戒方。禪智捻檀慧頭。密言曰。
唵(一)阿密栗(二合)睹娜婆(二合)嚩(二)吽(三)泮吒(吒半音呼之四)
以此印左轉三匝。

【English Translation】 English version Having prostrated to all the Buddhas, sit according to the seat, forming a mudra and entering into meditative contemplation. Visualize the immeasurable Tathagatas pervading the entire Dharma realm, with the practitioner's own body entirely within that assembly. Then form the Secret Samaya Mudra, with the 'adamantine bind' (a hand gesture, i.e., inner bind) binding the little fingers and ring fingers, the index fingers and thumbs interlocked and upright. Use this mudra to awaken the holy assembly, reciting the mantra: Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Padma (lotus) Samaya (vow) Sattvam (sentient being) Next, one should form the All-Tathagata Joyful Samaya Mudra. Similar to the previous mudra, except the middle and ring fingers are placed inside the palms. The mantra is: Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Samayaho (vow) Surata (joy) Rata (delight) Sattvam (sentient being) Next, form the Heart-Opening Mudra. Visualize the syllables Tra (seed syllable) and Ṭa (seed syllable) on the two breasts. Use the 'adamantine bind' (a hand gesture, i.e., inner bind), clap three times to open it. The mantra is: Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Bandha (bind) Tra (seed syllable) Ṭa (seed syllable) Next, form the Entering Wisdom Syllable Mudra. In front of oneself, visualize a red lotus flower with the syllable Sa (seed syllable) on it. Use the 'adamantine bind' (a hand gesture, i.e., inner bind), with the index fingers and thumbs entering within, the middle and ring fingers pressing against each other. Visualize taking that syllable and placing it within the heart. Recite the mantra: Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Veśa (enter) Ah (seed syllable) Next, form the Closing Wisdom Syllable Mudra. Without changing the previous mudra, the middle and ring fingers press against the back of the index fingers and thumbs. Visualize closing the heart door. The mantra is: Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Vajra (diamond) Muṣṭi (fist) Vaṃ (seed syllable) Next, form the Averting and Boundary-Establishing Mudra. The index fingers and thumbs of the right hand are crossed over the outside of the left hand, the middle and ring fingers press against each other. Use the middle and ring fingers to hook the index fingers and thumbs, the index fingers and thumbs pinch the tips of the little fingers and ring fingers. The mantra is: Oṃ (seed syllable, representing refuge) Amṛta (nectar) Udbhava (arising) Va (seed syllable) Hūṃ (seed syllable) Phaṭ (seed syllable) Rotate this mudra three times to the left.
辟除不善。右旋三匝。隨意遠近以為結界。
次結三摩地印。二羽仰叉。進力相背而豎。禪智捻進力頭。置於跏上。誦密言曰。

其出入息一一明瞭。觀虛空中無量諸佛。一時彈指警覺行者而告之言。汝今云何成無上覺。不知諸佛實相法要。行者爾時聞警覺已。白佛言云何名真實。唯愿如來為我解說。爾時諸佛告行者言。善哉善哉能作是問。汝想心中所內惡字瑩徹於心。誦密言曰。
唵(一)唧多缽啰(二合)底(二)味鄧迦𡀔弭(三)
當默誦一遍。便想為月輪。如在輕霧。
為欲令其月輪得清凈故。誦此密言曰。
唵(一)冒地唧多母怛跛(二二)娜夜弭
誦已諦觀心月極令清凈。如處大虛廓無瑕翳。復於心月想一蓮華。誦密言曰。
唵(一)底瑟吒(二合二)嚩日啰(二合三)缽娜么(二合四)
想其蓮花與月。漸漸而引周遍法界。量等虛空。誦密言曰。
唵(一)薩頗(二合)啰(二)嚩日啰(二合三)缽娜么(二合四)
其引蓮華中放無量光。隨光流出無量無邊際極樂世界。一一世界妙寶莊嚴。皆有觀自在王如來。與聖眾前後圍繞。如是觀已漸斂其蓮華。誦密言

對其出入氣息一一明瞭。觀想虛空中無量諸佛。一時彈指警覺行者並告知說:『你如今要如何成就無上覺悟?不知諸佛真實相的法要。』行者當時聽到警覺后。稟告佛說:『什麼叫做真實?唯愿如來為我解說。』當時諸佛告訴行者說:『善哉善哉,能作這樣的提問。』你想心中所藏的惡字,使其在心中瑩徹。誦唸密咒說:

應當默誦一遍。便觀想其為月輪。如在輕霧之中。
爲了使其月輪得到清凈的緣故。誦唸此密咒說:

誦唸完畢后仔細觀察心月,使其極其清凈。如處在大虛空中,廓然沒有瑕疵和陰翳。又在心月中觀想一朵蓮花。誦唸密咒說:

觀想那蓮花與月亮。漸漸地延伸周遍法界。大小等同虛空。誦唸密咒說:
唵(om) 薩頗(二合)(sphara) 嚩日啰(二合)(vajra) 缽娜么(二合)(padma)
那延伸的蓮花中放出無量光芒。隨著光芒流出無量無邊際的極樂世界。每一個世界都用奇妙的寶物莊嚴。都有觀自在王如來(Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata),與聖眾前後圍繞。這樣觀想完畢后,漸漸收斂那蓮花。誦唸密咒
【English Translation】 English version Expel the inauspicious. Circumambulate three times to the right. Establish the boundary according to the desired distance.
Next, form the Samadhi Mudra (Samadhi Mudra). Place both hands upturned and crossed. Extend the index and middle fingers back to back. Pinch the tips of the index and middle fingers with the ring and little fingers. Place them on the crossed legs. Recite the mantra:
Om sama dhi padma hrih
Be clearly aware of each inhalation and exhalation. Visualize countless Buddhas in the empty sky. They snap their fingers simultaneously to awaken the practitioner and say: 'How do you now attain unsurpassed enlightenment? You do not know the essential Dharma of the true form of all Buddhas.' Upon hearing this awakening, the practitioner says to the Buddhas: 'What is called truth? May the Tathagata explain it to me.' Then the Buddhas tell the practitioner: 'Excellent, excellent, you are able to ask such a question.' Visualize the evil syllable hidden in your heart, making it shine clearly in your mind. Recite the mantra:
Om citta-prati vidamkaromi
Silently recite it once. Then visualize it as a moon disc, as if in a light mist.
For the sake of purifying the moon disc, recite this mantra:
Om bodhicitta-utpada nayami
After reciting, carefully observe the heart-moon, making it extremely pure. As if in the great void, vast and without flaws or shadows. Then, visualize a lotus flower in the heart-moon. Recite the mantra:
Om tistha vajra padma
Visualize the lotus flower and the moon, gradually extending throughout the Dharma realm, equal in extent to the empty sky. Recite the mantra:
Om sphara vajra padma
From the extending lotus flower, emit immeasurable light. Following the light, countless and boundless worlds of ultimate bliss flow out. Each world is adorned with wondrous treasures. In each world is Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata (觀自在王如來), surrounded by the holy assembly. After visualizing in this way, gradually contract the lotus flower. Recite the mantra

唵(一)僧賀啰(二合二)缽娜么(二合三)
如是一切世界諸佛如來。隨華而斂量等本身。即變己身為無量壽佛身。紅頗梨色放大光明。結三么地印金剛蓮華座。想行者己身為如來已。復恐散亂而有退失。次作加持印而加持之。堅固縛以進力屈如蓮葉。禪智並豎印心額喉頂隨所印。想頡哩(二合)字。誦密言曰。
唵(一)嚩日啰(二合二)達么(三)頡哩(二合)
次結灌頂印。蓮華合掌進力相蹙如寶。檀慧豎相遠。置於額上。密言曰。
唵(一)缽娜么(二合二)啰怛那(二合引三)毗詵遮(四)薩嚩𤚥(五)頡哩(二合六)怛𡀔(二合七)
次結蓮華鬘印。以前印從額分手。繞至頂后。結蓮華拳。如系華鬘勢。徐徐前下散誦密言曰。

次結甲冑印。結蓮華拳。前後繞身如擐甲法。誦密言曰。

像這樣,一切世界諸佛如來,隨著蓮花的開放而聚集,數量等同於他們本身。隨即變化自身為無量壽佛(Amitabha)的身形,呈現紅頗梨色(red beryl color),放射出巨大的光明。結三摩地印(samadhi mudra),安坐于金剛蓮花座(vajra lotus throne)上。觀想修行者自身已經成為如來之後,又擔心因為散亂而產生退失,接著作加持印(blessing mudra)來加持他,用進力(effort)堅固地縛住,彎曲如蓮葉,禪智(wisdom)並豎起,在心、額、喉、頂等處隨所加印。觀想『頡哩(hrih)(種子字,代表蓮花部)』字。誦持密言說:
『唵(om)(種子字,表示皈敬) 嚩日啰(vajra)(金剛) 達么(dharma)(法) 頡哩(hrih)(種子字,代表蓮花部)』
接著結灌頂印(abhiseka mudra)。蓮花合掌,進力(effort)相互靠近如寶,檀慧(generosity and wisdom)豎立且相遠離,放置於額頭上。密言說:
『唵(om)(種子字,表示皈敬) 缽娜么(padma)(蓮花) 啰怛那(ratna)(寶) 毗詵遮(abhisheka)(灌頂) 薩嚩(sarva)(一切) 𤚥(mam)(我) 頡哩(hrih)(種子字,代表蓮花部) 怛𡀔(trat)(解脫)』
接著結蓮花鬘印(lotus garland mudra)。用之前的印從額頭分手,環繞至頭頂後方,結成蓮花拳,如同繫上花鬘的姿勢。慢慢地向前下方散開,誦持密言說:
『唵(om)(種子字,表示皈敬) 缽娜么(padma)(蓮花) 啰怛那(ratna)(寶) 么(ma)(不要) 隸(le)(給予) 𤚥(mam)(我)』
接著結甲冑印(armor mudra)。結成蓮花拳,前後環繞身體,如同穿戴盔甲的方法。誦持密言說:
『唵(om)(種子字,表示皈敬) 阿婆耶(abhaya)(無畏) 缽娜么(padma)(蓮花) 迦嚩制(kavace)(盔甲) 滿馱(bandha)(束縛) 啰乞灑(raksha)(保護) 𤚥(mam)(我) 吽(hum)(種子字,表示忿怒) 憾(ham)(種子字,表示空性)』
接著結歡喜印(joy mudra)。蓮花合掌,輕輕拍三聲。誦持密言說:
『唵(om)(種子字,表示皈敬) 缽娜么(padma)(蓮花) 睹使野(tusya)(歡喜) 護(hum)(種子字,表示忿怒)』
再次於面前,觀想安樂世界(Sukhavati),以琉璃為地,充滿功德。

'Om (seed syllable, representing reverence) Samghara (gathering) Padma (lotus)'
Like this, all Buddhas and Tathagatas of all worlds, gather as the lotus opens, in a number equal to themselves. Immediately transform their own bodies into the form of Amitabha (Immeasurable Life Buddha), appearing in red beryl color, emitting great light. Form the Samadhi Mudra, and sit upon the Vajra Lotus Throne. After visualizing the practitioner's own body as having become the Tathagata, and fearing that scattering thoughts may cause regression, then perform the Blessing Mudra to bless him, firmly binding with effort, curved like a lotus leaf, wisdom standing upright, imprinting at the heart, forehead, throat, and crown, wherever appropriate. Visualize the syllable 'Hrih (seed syllable, representing the lotus family)'. Recite the secret mantra, saying:
'Om (seed syllable, representing reverence) Vajra (diamond) Dharma (law) Hrih (seed syllable, representing the lotus family)'
Next, form the Abhisheka Mudra (initiation mudra). Lotus palms together, effort close together like a jewel, generosity and wisdom standing upright and far apart, place on the forehead. The secret mantra says:
'Om (seed syllable, representing reverence) Padma (lotus) Ratna (jewel) Abhisheka (initiation) Sarva (all) Mam (me) Hrih (seed syllable, representing the lotus family) Trat (liberation)'
Next, form the Lotus Garland Mudra. Separate the previous mudra from the forehead, circling to the back of the head, forming a lotus fist, like the gesture of tying a flower garland. Slowly scatter downwards, reciting the secret mantra, saying:
'Om (seed syllable, representing reverence) Padma (lotus) Ratna (jewel) Ma (do not) Le (give) Mam (me)'
Next, form the Armor Mudra. Form a lotus fist, circling the body front and back, like the method of wearing armor. Recite the secret mantra, saying:
'Om (seed syllable, representing reverence) Abhaya (fearlessness) Padma (lotus) Kavace (armor) Bandha (bind) Raksha (protection) Mam (me) Hum (seed syllable, representing wrath) Ham (seed syllable, representing emptiness)'
Next, form the Joy Mudra. Lotus palms together, gently clap three times. Recite the secret mantra, saying:
'Om (seed syllable, representing reverence) Padma (lotus) Tusya (joy) Hum (seed syllable, representing wrath)'
