我今依金剛頂經。演金剛蓮華達摩法要。先須入于灌頂三昧耶曼茶羅。發大菩提心。捨身命財饒益一切。勇猛精進隨念相應。慈悲喜捨無有間斷。如是之人方應修習。其曼茶羅畫像等法。廣如余所說。凡入精舍欲順念時。先以五輪著地。頂禮本尊觀自在王如來。次禮北方不空成就如來。乃至無動寶生遍照如來。悉皆依法至誠敬禮。雙膝而跪。蓮華合掌。懺悔三業一切過咎。

我從無量劫  淪滯生死海  今已清凈心  發露而悔過  如諸佛所懺  我今亦如是  愿我及眾生  一切皆清凈

誦此真言曰

唵薩嚩(二合)婆嚩秫馱(上聲)薩嚩達么薩嚩(二合)婆嚩秫度憾

次應隨喜過現未來諸佛菩薩所集福智。

過現三世佛  菩薩與眾生  所集諸善根  合掌盡隨喜

次應右膝著地虛心合掌置於頂上。想禮諸佛如來及菩薩足。誦密言曰。

禮諸佛已。依座印而坐入定思惟。觀無量如來周遍法界。行者己身悉在彼會。然後結秘密三昧耶。以六度頭相

我現在依據《金剛頂經》,闡述金剛蓮華達摩的法要。首先必須進入灌頂三昧耶曼茶羅(Samaya Mandala,誓言壇城),發起大菩提心,捨棄身命財產,饒益一切眾生。勇猛精進,隨念相應,慈悲喜捨,沒有間斷。像這樣的人才應該修習。關於曼茶羅的畫像等方法,廣泛地如同其他地方所說。凡是進入精舍想要順著唸誦時,先用五輪著地,頂禮本尊觀自在王如來(Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata,觀自在王如來)。其次禮拜北方不空成就如來(Amoghasiddhi,不空成就如來),乃至無動如來(不動明王,Acala),寶生如來(Ratnasambhava,寶生如來),遍照如來(Vairocana,遍照如來)。全部都依法至誠恭敬地禮拜。雙膝跪地,蓮花合掌,懺悔身口意三業的一切過錯。

我從無量劫以來, 沉淪在生死苦海之中, 如今已用清凈的心, 發露出來而懺悔過錯。 如同諸佛所懺悔的, 我現在也像他們一樣, 愿我和眾生, 一切都得到清凈。

誦唸這個真言說:

唵 薩嚩(二合)婆嚩秫馱(上聲)薩嚩達么薩嚩(二合)婆嚩秫度憾

其次應當隨喜過去、現在、未來諸佛菩薩所積聚的福德和智慧。

過去、現在、未來三世的佛, 菩薩以及眾生, 所積聚的各種善根, 合掌全部都隨喜。

其次應當右膝著地,虛心合掌置於頭頂上,觀想禮拜諸佛如來以及菩薩的足。誦唸密言說:

唵 缽娜么(二合)微

禮拜諸佛完畢后,依照座位的印契而坐,進入禪定思惟。觀想無量如來周遍法界,修行者自身全部都在那個法會之中。然後結秘密三昧耶印,以六度為首。

【English Translation】 English version The Yoga Practice of the Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata According to the Vajraśekhara Sutra

Translated by Vajrabodhi, Tripitaka Master from South India of the Tang Dynasty

Now, relying on the Vajraśekhara Sutra, I expound the Dharma essentials of the Vajra Lotus Dharma. First, one must enter the Abhiṣeka Samaya Mandala (Samaya Mandala, the Mandala of Vows), generate the great Bodhicitta (the aspiration for enlightenment), relinquish body, life, and wealth to benefit all beings. Be courageous and diligent, with thoughts in accordance, and practice loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity without interruption. Only such a person should practice this. The methods for drawing the Mandala and other related practices are extensively described elsewhere. Whenever entering a monastery and wishing to recite in accordance, first touch the ground with the five wheels (five limbs), prostrate to the principal deity, Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata (Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata, the Tathagata King of Contemplation). Next, pay homage to Amoghasiddhi (Amoghasiddhi, the Buddha of Unfailing Success) in the north, and then to Acala (Acala, the Immovable One), Ratnasambhava (Ratnasambhava, the Jewel-Born One), and Vairocana (Vairocana, the Illuminator). All should be respectfully prostrated to with utmost sincerity according to the Dharma. Kneel on both knees, with palms joined in the lotus position, and repent for all the transgressions of the three karmas (body, speech, and mind).

From countless kalpas (eons), I have been sinking in the sea of birth and death, Now with a pure mind, I reveal and repent my faults. As the Buddhas have repented, So do I now, May I and all beings, All be purified.

Recite this mantra:

Om Sarva Bhava Shuddha Sarva Dharma Sarva Bhava Shuddho Ham

Next, one should rejoice in the merits and wisdom accumulated by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, present, and future.

The Buddhas of the past, present, and future, Bodhisattvas and all beings, All the roots of good they have accumulated, With palms joined, I rejoice in them all.

Next, one should kneel on the right knee, empty the mind, join the palms, and place them on the crown of the head. Visualize prostrating to the feet of all Buddhas, Tathagatas, and Bodhisattvas. Recite the secret mantra:

Om Padma Vi

After prostrating to all the Buddhas, sit according to the mudra (hand gesture) of the seat and enter into meditative contemplation. Visualize the immeasurable Tathagatas pervading the Dharma realm, and the practitioner's own body being entirely within that assembly. Then form the secret Samaya mudra, with the Six Perfections as the head.


拄。進力少屈押忍愿上側文。禪智押進力下文。置於頂上。真言曰。

唵怛佗誐睹訥婆嚩耶娑嚩(二合)訶

次結蓮華部三昧耶陀羅尼印。即以二羽蓮華合掌。禪智檀慧相拄頭。六度頭相去一寸。置於右耳上。誦真言曰。

唵缽得么(二合)訥婆嚩耶娑嚩(二合)訶

次結金剛部三昧耶陀羅尼及印。即以檀智與禪慧。翻覆互相鉤。初結在當心。妙言置左耳。進密語三度。言竟頂輪王散。真言曰。

唵嚩日嚕(二合)納婆嚩耶娑嚩(二合)訶

次結金剛護身陀羅尼及印。即以戒方檀慧內相叉。忍愿二度建如幢。進力屈于忍愿背。去背三分如鉤形。禪智二度當心豎。真言曰。

唵嚩日啰(二合)擬你缽啰(二合)捻跋哆耶娑訶

次結金剛火焰地界陀羅尼及印。即以忍度入力愿度間。戒度入慧方度間。以愿度。從背上入進忍度間。方便入檀戒度間。檀慧進力禪智各頭相拄。覆之向下。禪智拄地如釘𣐍勢。誦真言三遍想如獨鈷金剛火焰杵。徹金剛際。誦真言曰。

唵枳哩枳哩么日啰(二合)么日𠼝(二合)部律滿馱滿馱吽泮吒

金剛火城飛焰電埏院界真言印。準前地印。豁開禪智右旋八方。誦真言曰。

【English Translation】 English version The 'Pillar' (zhǔ): The 'Advancing Strength' (jìnlì, referring to the middle finger) is slightly bent, with the 'Endurance and Vow' (rěn yuàn, referring to the ring and little fingers) placed on top. The 'Meditation Wisdom' (chánzhì, referring to the index finger and thumb) presses below the 'Advancing Strength'. Place it on top of the head. The mantra says: 'Om Tathagata Udbhavaya Svaha' Next, form the Samaya Dharani Mudra of the Lotus Family. That is, with both hands in lotus-like palms together. The 'Meditation Wisdom' and 'Generosity Wisdom' (dānhuì, referring to the thumb and little finger) support each other's heads. The heads of the 'Six Perfections' (liùdù, referring to the six fingers) are one inch apart. Place it on the right ear. Recite the mantra: 'Om Padme Udbhavaya Svaha' Next, form the Samaya Dharani and Mudra of the Vajra Family. That is, with the 'Generosity Wisdom' and 'Meditation Wisdom', turn over and hook each other. First, form it at the heart. The 'Wonderful Words' (miàoyán, referring to the mantra) are placed on the left ear. Advance the secret words three times. After speaking, the Crown Wheel King scatters. The mantra says: 'Om Vajra Udbhavaya Svaha' Next, form the Vajra Body Protection Dharani and Mudra. That is, with the 'Precept and Method' (jièfāng, referring to the middle and ring fingers) and 'Generosity Wisdom' internally crossed. The 'Endurance and Vow' are erected twice like a banner. The 'Advancing Strength' is bent on the back of the 'Endurance and Vow', three-tenths away from the back, like a hook shape. The 'Meditation Wisdom' is erected twice at the heart. The mantra says: 'Om Vajra Agni Prana Bhtaya Svaha' Next, form the Vajra Flame Ground Boundary Dharani and Mudra. That is, with the 'Endurance Degree' (rěndù, referring to the ring finger) entering between the 'Strength and Vow Degrees' (lì yuàn dù, referring to the middle and little fingers). The 'Precept Degree' (jièdù, referring to the middle finger) enters between the 'Wisdom and Method Degrees' (huì fāng dù, referring to the little and ring fingers). With the 'Vow Degree' (yuàndù, referring to the little finger), enter from the back between the 'Advancing and Endurance Degrees'. The 'Skillful Means' (fāngbiàn, referring to the thumb) enters between the 'Generosity and Precept Degrees'. The 'Generosity Wisdom', 'Advancing Strength', and 'Meditation Wisdom' each support their heads. Cover it downwards. The 'Meditation Wisdom' supports the ground like a nail-staking posture. Recite the mantra three times, imagining it as a single-pronged vajra flame club, penetrating the vajra boundary. Recite the mantra: 'Om Kilikili Vajra Vajri Bhur Bandha Bandha Hum Phat' Vajra Fire City Flying Flame Electric Enclosure Boundary Mantra Mudra. According to the previous ground mudra. Open up the 'Meditation Wisdom' and rotate it clockwise in all eight directions. Recite the mantra: 'Om Sara Sara Vajra Prakara Hum Phat'


金剛火焰網界真言印。亦準前地印。豁開直豎禪智。頂上覆來去三度。想金剛火焰網。上至有頂。密言曰。

唵尾薩普啰捺洛(二合)乞灑(二合)嚩日啰(二合)半惹啰吽泮吒

次結金剛焰火界印。以定慧側相著。禪智直豎相去三寸。頂上右旋。想其墻網。誦密言曰。

唵阿三忙擬你(二合)娑嚩(二合)訶

此界成已。六慾魔羅及一切毗那夜迦。惶怖遁走無所容竄。

次結觀音寶車印。以二羽仰相叉轉。以智禪招忍愿。向內三撥。誦真言想念本尊隨愿至。當以入念密心中幻化浮泡心不已。密言曰。

唵睹嚕睹嚕吽

次結八大蓮華印。以二羽相叉。進力檀慧頭相拄。禪愿智忍各相拄。八葉白蓮一肘間想置車上三密語。真言曰。

唵劍忙啰娑嚩(二合)訶

次結瑜伽秘密三昧耶印。以二手堅固縛。檀慧禪智各相合豎著。以印警覺。誦密言曰。

唵嚩日啰(二合)缽娜么(二合)三么耶薩怛梵(三合)

次結一切如來安樂歡喜悅意三昧耶印。

十度堅固縛  忍愿中交合  檀慧與禪智  頭相合而豎

真言曰。

唵三摩耶護(引)蘇啰哆薩怛鑁(二合)

次結開心戶。入金剛智字。觀於二乳上。右怛啰左吒。

如宮室戶扇。殊勝金剛縛。三業同時發。指心開兩字。

真言曰。

唵嚩日啰(二合)滿馱怛啰(二合)吒(半音)

無始熏種子  所集之塵勞  今以召罪印  集之慾摧碎  十度堅固縛  忍愿申如針  進力屈如鉤  心想召諸罪  想彼眾罪狀  植髮裸黑形  反印刺於心  觸已誦密言  三業相應故  能召諸罪積  誦此召集已  方作摧碎法

密言曰。

無始以來熏習的種子,所積聚的塵勞,現在用召罪印,聚集它們想要摧毀。十度(指十指)堅固地縛住,忍愿(指無名指和小指)伸直如針,進力(指中指和食指)彎曲如鉤,心中想著召集各種罪業。想像那些罪業的形狀,頭髮豎立,裸體黑色。反轉印相刺向心,接觸后誦唸密言。三業相應,能夠召集各種罪業的積聚。誦唸此召集咒語后,才可作摧碎之法。

『唵 薩嚩 婆嚩 迦哩灑(二合)拏 尾輸馱娜 三摩耶 嚩日啰(二合)吽 惹』

召入掌中后,才可作摧碎之法。先前的印相兩手交叉,稱念縛(bandha,束縛)住諸罪,忍愿(指無名指和小指)都伸直,有『怛啰吒』字,想像為金剛杵(vajra,一種法器),互相拍打如摧毀山。忿怒鉤和憤怒的形象,能夠消盡各種惡趣。誦唸后,忍愿(指無名指和小指)拍打,三遍或七遍,隨所宜。

『唵 跋日啰(二合)播尼 尾娑普(二合)吒也 薩哆播耶 滿馱娜你 缽啰(二合)母訖灑(二合)也 薩婆播耶 誐底毗藥(二合)薩嚩 娑怛蔓(二合)薩嚩 怛他檗哆 跋日啰(二合)三摩耶 吽 怛啰(二合)吒』

慈悲普遍地聚集,召入各種塵垢,互相拍打摧毀各種魔,一切都得以消除。清凈如滿月,應當觀想八葉蓮花。想像在心中,兩手肘部互相靠近,向上豎起如寶蓮花,十度(指十指)稍微遠離,稍微彎曲,八葉運轉。

密言曰:

『唵 劍 忙啰 娑嚩(二合)訶』

以此相應之門,首先

【English Translation】 English version: Like the doors and windows of a palace, with the supreme Vajrabandha (Vajrabandha, adamantine bond) mudra, the three karmas of body, speech, and mind are simultaneously activated, using the fingers to open the 'two syllables' in the heart.

The mantra says:

'Om Vajra (two combined) bandha trat (two combined) ta (half sound)'

The seeds accumulated from beginningless time, the defilements gathered, now with the summoning-sin mudra, gather them wanting to destroy. The ten degrees (referring to the ten fingers) firmly bind, the forbearance and wish (referring to the ring and little fingers) extend straight like needles, the progress and strength (referring to the middle and index fingers) bend like hooks, in the mind thinking of summoning all sins. Imagine the shapes of those sins, hair standing on end, naked and black. Reverse the mudra and pierce the heart, upon contact, recite the secret words. The three karmas correspond, able to summon the accumulation of all sins. After reciting this summoning mantra, then one can perform the method of crushing.

The secret words say:

'Om Sarva bhava karshana vishodhana samaya vajra (two combined) hum ja'

After summoning into the palm, then one can perform the method of crushing. The previous mudra with hands crossed, reciting 'bandha' (bandha, bond) to bind all sins, the forbearance and wish (referring to the ring and little fingers) both extend straight, with the syllable 'trat', imagine it as a vajra (vajra, a ritual implement), striking each other as if crushing a mountain. The wrathful hook and angry form, able to exhaust all evil destinies. After reciting, the forbearance and wish (referring to the ring and little fingers) strike, three or seven times, as appropriate.

'Om Vajrapani visphotaya satapaya bandhana nipramukshaya sarva paya gatibhyah sarva satvaman sarva tathagata vajra samaya hum trat'

Compassion universally gathers, summoning all defilements, striking each other to destroy all demons, everything is eliminated. Pure like the full moon, one should contemplate an eight-petaled lotus. Imagine within the heart, the elbows of both hands close to each other, raised upwards like a precious lotus, the ten degrees (referring to the ten fingers) slightly apart, slightly bent, the eight petals turning.

The secret words say:

'Om ksham mara svaha'

佛方便故  三業所積罪  無量極重障  作此摧滅已  如火焚枯草  有情常愚迷  不知此理趣  如來大悲故  開此秘妙門

次當結入印。內如來智字。二羽堅固縛。禪智入于中。以進力二度。相拄如環勢。觀前八葉蓮。其上置娑字。二點嚴飾故。妙字方召惡。色白珂雪。流散千光明。想以進力度。捻字安心內。三業齊運用。誦此密言曰。

唵跋日啰(二合)吠舍惡

既想入心中。字想愈光耀。此即法界體。行者應是觀。不久悟清凈。法本不生故。三世諸如來。金剛身口意。皆以妙方便。持在金剛拳。以此闔心門。智字獲堅固。便屈進力度。拄于禪智背。以印觸胸已。即誦此妙言。

唵嚩日啰(二合)母瑟知(二合)鑁

次結一切諸佛金剛閉心門印。即以八度內相叉。初起從右復轉左。三度來去轉戶扇。想閉心門三密語。密言曰。

唵缽娜么(二合)度閉惡

次結辟除結界印。即以二羽當心合。戒右押左外相叉。忍愿二度建如幢。次以進力勾戒方。禪智慧檀頭相捻。密言曰。

唵阿密㗚(二合)睹納婆(二合)嚩吽泮吒

此法是大悲觀世音化為馬頭明王。加被行人速成佛已。作斯結界左轉三遍辟除不善。右旋三遍隨意近遠為結界。

次結加

【現代漢語翻譯】 現代漢語譯本: 佛以方便之故, 由身、口、意三業所累積的罪業,無量且是極重的障礙。 通過此法摧毀罪業后,就如火焚燒枯草一般迅速消滅。 眾生常常愚昧迷惑,不明白這個道理。 如來以大慈悲的緣故,開啟這個秘密玄妙的法門。

接下來應當結入印。在心中觀想如來智字。雙手牢固地內縛,禪智二指放入掌中。用進力二度(即食指和小指)互相抵住,形成環狀。觀想前方有一朵八葉蓮花,其上安放『娑』字,用兩點來莊嚴修飾。這個妙字能夠召來惡業。其顏色潔白如珂雪,流散出千萬道光明。觀想用進力度二指,捻住『娑』字並安放在心內。身、口、意三業同時運用,誦唸這個秘密真言:

『唵 跋日啰(二合) 吠舍 惡』

當『娑』字想融入心中后,字的光芒更加耀眼。這便是法界的本體,修行者應當如此觀想。不久就能領悟清凈的境界,因為法的本性是不生不滅的。過去、現在、未來三世諸如來,他們的金剛身、口、意,都是以這種巧妙方便,持在金剛拳中。用這個手印來關閉心門,使智字獲得堅固。然後彎曲進力度二指,抵在禪智二指的背部。用手印觸碰胸部后,就誦唸這個妙言:

『唵 嚩日啰(二合) 母瑟知(二合) 鑁』

接下來結一切諸佛金剛閉心門印。即用八度(即八指)在內側互相交叉。開始從右向左,然後從左向右,來回三次轉動,如同轉動門扇。觀想關閉心門,同時持誦三密語。密言是:

【English Translation】 English version: Due to the Buddha's skillful means, The sins accumulated by the three karmas (of body, speech, and mind) are immeasurable and extremely heavy obstacles. Having destroyed these sins through this practice, it is like fire burning dry grass, quickly eliminating them. Sentient beings are often ignorant and confused, not understanding this principle. Due to the great compassion of the Tathagata (如來), this secret and profound Dharma gate is opened.

Next, one should form the Entering Mudra. Visualize the seed-syllable of the Tathagata's wisdom in the heart. The two hands are firmly bound inwards, with the meditation and wisdom fingers placed inside the palms. The progress and strength fingers (index and little fingers) touch each other, forming a ring. Visualize an eight-petaled lotus in front, with the syllable '娑' (Sa) placed upon it, adorned with two dots. This wonderful syllable can summon evil. Its color is pure white like conch and snow, radiating thousands of rays of light. Visualize using the progress and strength fingers to pinch the syllable '娑' and place it within the heart. The three karmas of body, speech, and mind are employed simultaneously, reciting this secret mantra:

'Om Vajra (二合) Vesha Ah'

Once the syllable '娑' is visualized entering the heart, the light of the syllable becomes even more radiant. This is the essence of the Dharmadhatu (法界), and the practitioner should contemplate it in this way. Soon, one will realize the state of purity, because the nature of Dharma is unborn. The Buddhas of the past, present, and future, their Vajra body, speech, and mind, all hold it in the Vajra fist through this wonderful skillful means. Use this mudra to close the heart door, so that the wisdom syllable becomes firm. Then bend the progress and strength fingers, pressing them against the back of the meditation and wisdom fingers. After touching the chest with the mudra, recite this wonderful mantra:

'Om Vajra (二合) Musti (二合) Vam'

Next, form the All Buddhas Vajra Closing Heart Door Mudra. That is, cross the eight fingers (八度) inwards. Begin from right to left, then from left to right, turning back and forth three times, like turning a door leaf. Visualize closing the heart door, while reciting the three secret mantras. The secret mantra is:

'Om Padma (二合) Dubhe Ah'

Next, form the Averting and Boundary Mudra. That is, bring the two hands together at the heart, with the precept finger (ring finger) of the right hand pressing on the left hand, crossing outwards. The forbearance finger (middle finger) and vow finger (thumb) are erected like banners. Then use the progress finger (index finger) to hook the precept finger (ring finger), and the tips of the meditation finger (little finger) and wisdom finger (ring finger) touch each other. The secret mantra is:

'Om Amrita (二合) Udabhava Hum Phat'

This Dharma is the transformation of Avalokiteśvara (大悲觀世音) into Hayagriva (馬頭明王), blessing practitioners to quickly achieve Buddhahood. Then perform this boundary, rotating three times to the left to avert evil. Rotate three times to the right to establish the boundary at will, near or far.

【English Translation】 English version: The practitioner should contemplate the 'True Form of Letter Arrangement,' that is, contemplate Avalokiteśvara (Guanyin) at the places where the mudra is applied on the body, and clearly visualize the syllable 'Hrīḥ' (seed syllable). This syllable must appear clearly and be located within the lunar disc, emitting white light from it, and then gradually retracting. Bring the hands together at the heart, interlock the fingers inside, extend the meditation fingers straight up and press them together, using this mudra to mark the top of the head and the forehead. Start with the two eyes from the right, then mark the heart and navel with the two arms, from the knees to the left, disperse.

Recite the secret mantra:

'Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Hrīḥ Svāhā'.

Form this mudra and arrange the syllables on the body, so that the body itself is like the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara Tathagata, complete with the thirty-two marks, eighty minor characteristics, the perfect golden-purple body light, blessed by the Tathagata. After making this contemplation, use the hand mudra to touch the top of the head, placing the syllable 'Oṃ'; touch the forehead, placing the syllable 'Āḥ'; touch the eyes, placing the syllable 'Hūṃ'. To the right, arrange each syllable in order, even to the two feet.

Contemplate the syllable 'Oṃ' on the head, its color as white as the moon, emitting immeasurable light, eliminating all obstacles, being the same as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas touching the top of this person's head. Place the syllable 'Āḥ' on the forehead, its color a pervasive golden color, illuminating all ignorance, able to generate profound wisdom and brightness. Place the syllable 'Hūṃ' on the two eyes, its color like dark blue lapis lazuli, able to reveal all forms and appearances, gradually possessing the wisdom of the Tathagata. Place the syllable 'Hrīḥ' on the two shoulders, its color like pure white, because the mind is pure, quickly reaching the path to Bodhi. Place the syllable 'Svāhā' on the navel, its shape red in color, constantly contemplating this syllable, quickly attaining the turning of the Dharma wheel. Place the syllable 'Ha' on the two feet, its color like a full moon, the practitioner making this contemplation, quickly attaining Nirvana. Thus, contemplating the color of these seed syllables, it becomes the supreme Dharma gate of great compassion, also the true form of each respective deity, able to eliminate all sins and obtain auspiciousness. Like a Vajra solid gathering, this is called the supreme Dharma of great compassion, if one constantly practices this Dharma, know that this person will quickly attain Siddhi (accomplishment).

After reciting the purification mudra three times, contemplate in your own mind the great compassion of Avalokiteśvara, from the thousand eyes and mouths emerge the wonderful words and letters of great compassion.

次結三摩地印。二羽仰相叉。進力相背而豎。禪智捻進力頭。置於跏趺上。行者次修阿娑頗那伽三昧。端身正坐。身不搖動。舌拄上腭。止出入息。令其微細。諦觀諸法。皆由自心。一切煩惱。如焰如化。無有真實。作是觀已。唯愿諸佛。示我行處。誦此真言曰。

誦此諦觀心。極令澄清凈。如處大虛空。而無有障礙。即於心中想一蓮華。能令心月輪圓滿益明。顯住菩提堅固。復授心真言。

想其蓮華與月輪。漸漸而引周法界。量同虛空無有礙。即是平等真如門。汝于凈月輪。觀五智金剛。令普周法界。唯一大金剛。應當知自身。即為金剛界。密言曰。

Next, form the Samadhi Mudra (Samadhi Mudra). Cross the hands with palms facing up. Erect the index and middle fingers (advance and strength) back to back. Touch the tips of the index and middle fingers with the meditation and wisdom fingers. Place them on the crossed legs. The practitioner then cultivates the Anapanasati Samadhi (Anapanasati Samadhi). Sit upright with the body still. Press the tongue against the upper palate. Stop the inhalation and exhalation, making them subtle. Carefully observe all dharmas, which arise from one's own mind. All afflictions are like flames, like illusions, without reality. After contemplating in this way, may all Buddhas show me the place of practice. Recite this mantra:

Om samaya padme hrih

When sitting upright, be clear about everything. Visualize countless Buddhas in the empty space, snapping their fingers simultaneously, awakening the practitioner, and saying: 'Excellent, you are able to practice in this way. Visualize the evil syllables arranged in your heart, making them clear and bright in your mind.' Recite this mantra:

Om citta prati vedanam karomi

You should remember to see the mind in an instant, complete like a pure moon. Again, contemplate in this way, where does this mind come from? The seeds of afflictions and habits, good and evil, all arise from the mind. The mind is the Alaya (Alaya), cultivating purity as the cause. Because it is obscured by defilements, it cannot achieve Bodhi (Bodhi).

Then recite this mantra:

Om bodhicitta utpadayami

Recite this mantra, carefully observe the mind, making it extremely clear and pure, as if in the vast empty space, without any obstacles. Then visualize a lotus in the heart, which can make the moon disc of the heart complete and brighter, manifesting and abiding in the steadfastness of Bodhi. Again, impart the heart mantra.

Om tistha vajra padma

Visualize the lotus and the moon disc, gradually extending throughout the entire Dharma realm, its measure like the empty space without obstruction. This is the gate of equal Suchness. In the pure moon disc, visualize the Five Wisdom Vajras (Five Wisdom Vajra), causing them to pervade the entire Dharma realm, becoming the one great Vajra. You should know that your own body is the Vajradhatu (Vajradhatu). The secret word says:

誦真言次即具薩婆若智。成等正覺。

Reciting this mantra, visualize immeasurable light emanating from the lotus. Immeasurable light shines upon immeasurable worlds. Each world is adorned with wondrous jewels. In each world, there is Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata (The Sovereign King Avalokiteśvara Thus Come One), surrounded by various holy beings, to verify one's own mind, and thus attain purity. One should know that oneself is that Buddha, complete with all auspicious marks. In meditation, prostrate to all Buddhas, wishing for their blessings to strengthen one's mind. Then, recite the Vajra Heart Mantra:

Oṃ saṃhara padma

After reciting this mantra, one immediately possesses all wisdom (Sarvajña-jñāna) and attains perfect enlightenment (samyak-saṃbodhi).

Next, form the empowerment secret mudra. The ring and little fingers interlock outwards in the gesture of the six perfections. The middle and index fingers are joined together like a lotus. The thumbs are erected together, visualizing them as a banner. Use this mudra to empower the heart, forehead, throat, and crown of the head. The secret mantra is:

Oṃ vajra dharma hrīḥ

Immediately visualize all the Tathagatas in the sky, holding space-treasured objects, pouring them over the crown of my head. The ring and little fingers combine like the Vajra syllable 'vaṃ'. The middle, index fingers, and thumbs are like the shape of a jewel. After empowering the forehead with this mudra, the Five Buddha Crown is immediately formed on the head. The secret mantra is:

Oṃ padma ratna abhiṣiñca sarva hūṃ hrīḥ traḥ

Next, form the Lotus Garland Mudra. As before, bring the hands to the heart, join the thumbs and bend them into the center of the palm. The ring and little fingers each form a fist, like the gesture of stringing a flower garland, slowly lowering it. The secret mantra is:

Oṃ padma ratna māle hūṃ

Next, form the All-Encompassing Armor of Loving-Kindness Mudra.

The syllables 'Oṃ' and 'traḥ' intertwine, the continuous green light like tying armor, at the heart.

應以成所作智三么地。想於己身前。見無量乳海。出生大蓮華王。金剛為莖量周法界。上有寶樓中有師子座。于滿月中現妙白蓮。觀海中纈哩字。變為開敷蓮華。復變華為觀自在王如來。無數菩薩前後圍繞。以成眷屬皆集其會。

次結金剛王菩薩召集諸聖印。定慧二羽金剛拳。進度如鉤獨三屈。密言曰。

唵缽娜么(二合)按(去聲)句舍吽惹(平聲)

誦此真言三遍已。即以進度三回招。真身菩薩滿虛空。應念十方一時至。

Apply force to the chest, back, throat, neck, crown of the head, forehead, and back of the head, one by one, circling three times. Then, scatter the palms forward and downward like celestial garments. This will universally protect all beings, and all celestial demons will be unable to destroy it. The secret mantra is: Oṃ Āpāya-padma-ka-vajra-bandha-rakṣaḥ hūṃ haṃ Next, form the Tathāgata's Joy Mudra. Bring the meditation and wisdom hands together at the heart. Cross the index and middle fingers outward. Raise the dhyana and jnana fingers upright at the heart. Clap lightly three times to invoke the holy ones. The mantra is: Oṃ Padma-toṣaya hūṃ One should, with the Samadhi of Accomplishing Wisdom, visualize before oneself an immeasurable ocean of milk, from which emerges a great lotus king, with a vajra stem whose measure encompasses the entire Dharma realm. Upon the lotus king is a jeweled pavilion, and within the pavilion is a lion throne. Within the full moon appears a wondrous white lotus. Visualize the hrīḥ syllable in the ocean transforming into a blooming lotus, which then transforms into Avalokiteśvara-rāja-tathāgata (The Sovereign King Avalokiteśvara Thus Come One). Numberless Bodhisattvas surround him, forming his retinue, all gathered in this assembly. Next, form the Vajra King Bodhisattva's Mudra for Summoning the Holy Ones. Form vajra fists with the meditation and wisdom hands. Bend the index and middle fingers like hooks, curving them individually three times. The secret mantra is: Oṃ Padma-aṅkuśa hūṃ jaḥ After reciting this mantra three times, use the index and middle fingers to beckon three times. The true-body Bodhisattvas fill the void, and in an instant, they arrive from the ten directions. Next, form the Great Vajra Rope Mudra. Introduce the honored body into the wisdom essence. Cross the endurance and aspiration fingers outward. Touch the tips of the dhyana and progress fingers together. Recite this mantra: Oṃ Padma-amogha-pāśa hūṃ Then visualize the Dharma body of the Bodhisattva coming into the image, thus becoming the Dharma body. Next, form the Vajra Hook and Chain Mudra. This can cause the principal deity to abide firmly. Hook the dhyana, progress, strength, and wisdom fingers together. This is called the Vajra Stabilizing Mudra. Next, form the Mudra of the Wonderful Sounding Bell of Vajra (Diamond). Having formed this Mudra, it can cause all the Holy Ones to rejoice. Bend the Wisdom and Meditation fingers into the Vajra binding. Bend the tips of the Effort and Strength fingers to resemble rings. This is called the Mudra of Vajra Joy. The secret mantra is:

Om Padma Vesa Hum

By this mantra and Mudra, all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the original Holy Ones, will all rejoice.

Next, form the Arghya (offering water) mantra and Mudra. Place both hands at the heart, combine the Endurance, Vow, and Six Perfections, extend the Effort and Strength fingers straight upwards, and bend and touch the tips of the Meditation and Wisdom fingers. The secret mantra is:

Om Di Li Li Mudra Vah

With this, offer to all the Tathagata Vajras, and with nectar, anoint the crowns of all sentient beings, eradicating immeasurable karmic obstacles. Because of this offering of Arghya, bathe the stainless bodies of all the Holy Ones. With this immeasurable merit and benefit, one shall attain the Dharma Cloud Ground of empowerment.

Next, form the Hundred Syllable Secret Mantra and Mudra of all the Tathagatas.

Om Padma Sattva Samaya Manupalaya Padma Sattva Tvenopatistha Dridho Me Bhava Sutosyo Me Bhava Anurakto Me Bhava Suposyo Me Bhava Sarva Siddhi Me Prayaccha Sarva Karma Sujame Cittan Shriyam Kuru Hum Ha Ha Ha Ha Hoh Bhagavan Sarva Tathagata Padma Ma Me Munca Padme Bhava Maha Samaya Sattva Ah

By the blessing of this Hundred Syllable Secret Mantra of the Mahayana, even if one has committed the five heinous offenses or slandered all the Buddhas and Vaipulya Sutras, such sins will all be extinguished. By the steadfast abiding of the principal deity.


己身故。速獲金剛薩埵位。及獲菩薩諸佛位。

次結金剛嬉戲印(內四供養)定慧和合金剛拳。禪智二度當心豎。一切嬉戲漸輪升。頂上散之契聖意。作此供養。一切如來。智慧供養。諸佛以此。為游嬉戲。密言曰。

次結金剛華鬘印。不改前印捧引前。想捧寶鬘用嚴首。密言曰。

由此印真言供養。當獲灌頂法王位。

次結金剛歌詠印。前印從於臍漸上。至口方散。演妙清音。以娛聖會。密言曰。

由此供養金剛歌。不久當具如來辯。

次結金剛舞印。觀妙妓云普供養。定慧進力各旋舞。左脅右脅復當心。一一進力三旋繞。真言不絕頂上散。

由於用焚香供養的緣故,立即得到如來的無礙智慧,普遍周遍世界獻上美妙的香,獲得諸上諸佛的智慧。

接下來結金剛散華印。用此來莊嚴諸世界。結縛印,向上散開如華,芬芳的華云遍佈法界。密言曰:

【English Translation】 English version: After one's own death, may one quickly attain the state of Vajrasattva (Vajrasattva, an important deity in Vajrayana), and attain the states of Bodhisattvas and all Buddhas.

Next, form the Vajra Play Mudra (the inner four offerings). Combine Samadhi (wisdom) and Prajna (skillful means), forming the Vajra Fist. Raise the two degrees of Dhyana-jnana (meditation-wisdom) before the heart. All play gradually ascends in a wheel, scattering at the crown of the head, in accordance with the holy intention. By making this offering, all Tathagatas (Thus Come Ones) make offerings with wisdom. All Buddhas use this as play. The secret mantra says:

Om Padma Lasih Hūm

Next, form the Vajra Garland Mudra. Do not change the previous mudra, raise the previous mudra, imagine holding a precious garland to adorn the head. The secret mantra says:

Om Padma Maleh Trat

By offering with this mudra and mantra, one should attain the position of the Anointed Dharma King.

Next, form the Vajra Song Mudra. From the navel, gradually raise the previous mudra upwards, scattering it only at the mouth, performing wonderful and pure sounds to entertain the holy assembly. The secret mantra says:

Om Padma Giti Giti

By offering this Vajra Song, one will soon possess the eloquence of the Tathagata.

Next, form the Vajra Dance Mudra. Visualize wonderful musicians offering universally like clouds. The advancing powers of Samadhi (wisdom) and Prajna (skillful means) each rotate and dance, at the left side, right side, and then before the heart. Each advancing power rotates three times. The mantra is continuous, scattering at the crown of the head.

Om Padma Nrtya Krit

By the merit of offering this wonderful dance, one should attain the mind-made body of the Tathagata.

Next, form the outer offering mudra of burning incense. With this, universally perfume the Buddha's sea assembly. Combine Samadhi (wisdom) and Prajna (skillful means), scattering the palms downwards, imagine wonderful clouds of incense pervading the Dharma Realm. The secret mantra says:

Om Padma Dhupe Ah

By the merit of offering with burning incense, one immediately obtains the unobstructed wisdom of the Tathagata, universally pervading the world, offering wonderful incense, and obtaining the wisdom of all the supreme Buddhas.

Next, form the Vajra Scattering Flowers Mudra. Use this to adorn all worlds. Form the bound mudra, scattering upwards like flowers, fragrant clouds of flowers pervading the Dharma Realm. The secret mantra says:

由結金剛華供養。速證如來四八相。亦愿有情得成就。同於諸佛三十二。

次結金剛燈明印。忍愿六度外相叉。進力屈拄如寶形。禪智二度各雙屈。摩尼燈光照法界。

唵缽娜么(二合)你閉你(平聲)

作此法者以如來智燈而為供養。能令有情速成如來智慧。以斯供養獲得五眼清凈。

次結金剛涂香印。以用供養諸佛會。散金剛縛如涂香。香氣周流十方界。普熏聖眾及聲聞。密言曰。

唵缽娜么(二合)喭提㖸

作此法著。以諸如來。智尸羅之香。而為供養。能令有情。速獲清凈。由斯福故具五分法身。次結根本印。次應諦想自身如同本尊。眷屬圍繞住于大圓鏡智。即以定慧二羽金剛縛。忍愿二度建如幢。即誦觀音根本明。身處月輪同薩埵。密言曰。

唵路計濕嚩(二合)啰邏惹紇哩(二合)

次應歌詠種種讚歎。若讚歎時于晨朝洗灑涂手輪結妙音清雅而歌贊之。每日四時所謂晨朝午時黃昏夜半。唸誦數珠各依本部。次獻閼伽水。以降三世印左旋解界印。即結金剛解脫印。奉送諸聖。

次結髮遣印。以根本印。從臍至面。然以散之。合掌于頂上。想觀自在王如來還本宮。誦密言曰。

May all sentient beings also achieve the same, like the thirty-two marks of all Buddhas. Next, form the Vajra Lamp Offering Mudra. Cross the Ring and Little fingers outwards, bend the Index and Middle fingers into a jewel shape, and bend the Thumbs inwards separately. May the light of the Mani lamp illuminate the entire Dharma realm. The secret mantra says: Om Padma (two combined) Ni Bi Ni (level tone) Those who practice this method, using the lamp of the Tathagata's wisdom as an offering, can enable all sentient beings to quickly achieve the Tathagata's wisdom. Through this offering, may we obtain the purity of the five eyes. Next, form the Vajra Incense Mudra to offer to the assembly of all Buddhas. Disperse the Vajra bond like incense, so that its fragrance flows throughout the ten directions, universally perfuming the holy assembly and Shravakas (listeners). The secret mantra says: Om Padma (two combined) Yan Di He Those who practice this method, using the incense of the wisdom and morality of all Tathagatas as an offering, can enable all sentient beings to quickly attain purity. Through this merit, may we be endowed with the fivefold Dharmakaya (body of the law). Next, form the Root Mudra. Then, contemplate carefully that oneself is like the principal deity, surrounded by attendants, abiding in the Great Perfect Mirror Wisdom. Then, with the two hands of Samadhi and Prajna (wisdom), form the Vajra bond, and erect the Ring and Little fingers like banners. Then recite the fundamental mantra of Avalokiteshvara, being in the lunar disc, like a Sattva (heroic being). The secret mantra says: Om Lokiteśvara Raja Hrih (two combined) Next, one should sing various praises. When praising, after washing and anointing the hands in the morning, sing with the wheel-knot wonderful sound, elegantly. Four times each day, namely morning, noon, dusk, and midnight, recite the rosary according to each section. Next, offer Arghya water. Rotate the Subduing the Three Realms Mudra to the left, and release the boundary Mudra. Then form the Vajra Liberation Mudra, and send off all the holy ones. Next, form the Dispatch Mudra.
