中天竺國大那蘭陀寺善無畏奉 詔譯(亦名輸娑迦羅三藏)

爾時堅牢地天及大功德天。俱共從座而起白佛言世尊。若有比丘比丘尼優婆塞優婆夷童男童女等常攝五根系念至心。我地天及功德天。禮拜恭敬供養及唸誦我真言者。我恒常出地味資潤彼人。令其身中增益壽命。是地精氣充溢。行者身中得色力。得念得喜得精進。得大智慧得辯財。得三明六通。人天愛敬得無比無盡大福德。譬如輪王聖主福德。得在在處處行者所住之處。譬如忉利天園觀。此生彼生及千生萬生無極。得巨多廣大福。得日日千萬眷屬掬養。亦無量無數有情艱難之類。活備資生庫倉充溢七珍無限。像寶馬寶及輪寶隨心女寶。即不呼自來限死生。如是法行比丘。或以種種金銀寶珠種種資生種種穀米具足供給。如是繫念從初夜至中后夜。坐臥行立念法心無彼外緣。行者為營寺舍或造一屋或一樹林或復衣食坐臥床鋪。于病患湯藥種種資生常供給之。彼得如是無乏少。已身得安穩無有憂愁。心常歡喜得好福田成就法器。如是施已。當來之世得大果報。深心樂法不生惡道不造惡法。我如是護彼人即得修慈悲心。如是種種勝妙善根增長

這時,堅牢地天(Prithvi,大地女神)及大功德天(Lakshmi,吉祥天女)一同從座位上起身,對佛說:『世尊,如果有比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞(在家男居士)、優婆夷(在家女居士)、童男、童女等,能夠經常收攝五根,一心一意地繫念,至誠地禮拜、恭敬、供養以及唸誦我的真言,我地天及功德天,我會恒常涌出地味來滋養他們,使他們的身體增長壽命。大地的精華之氣會充滿他們的身體,修行者身中會獲得色力(好的氣色和體力),獲得憶念,獲得喜悅,獲得精進,獲得大智慧,獲得辯才,獲得三明六通(佛教神通),受到人天愛戴和尊敬,獲得無比無盡的大福德,就像轉輪聖王(Chakravartin)的福德一樣。修行者所居住的地方,會像忉利天(Trayastrimsa)的園林一樣。此生、彼生以及千生萬生,都能獲得極多廣大的福報,每天都會有千萬眷屬供養,也會有無量無數生活艱難的眾生得到資助,倉庫充溢著七寶,擁有無盡的象寶、馬寶以及輪寶、隨心女寶,即使不呼喚也會自己到來,壽命沒有限制。像這樣的如法修行的比丘,會得到種種金銀寶珠、種種資生之物、種種穀米的充足供給。像這樣從初夜到中夜、后夜都繫念,坐著、躺著、行走、站立都在念法,心中沒有其他外緣。修行者爲了營建寺廟或建造房屋,或種植樹林,或提供衣食、坐臥床鋪,對於生病的人提供湯藥和種種資生之物,都會經常供給他們,使他們不會缺乏,自身得到安穩,沒有憂愁,心中常常歡喜,得到好的福田,成就法器。像這樣佈施以後,將來之世會得到大的果報,內心深處喜愛佛法,不生於惡道,不造作惡法。我會像這樣守護他們,使他們能夠修習慈悲心。這樣,種種殊勝美妙的善根就會增長。』

【English Translation】 English version The Dharani Sutra of Dhrtarastra and Sri-devi

Translated by Śubhakarasiṃha of the Great Nalanda Monastery in Central India under Imperial Decree (also known as Shusākara-triratna)

At that time, Dhṛtarāṣṭra (the Earth Goddess) and Śrī-devi (the Goddess of Auspiciousness), both rose from their seats and said to the Buddha: 'World-Honored One, if there are bhikshus (monks), bhikshunis (nuns), upasakas (male lay devotees), upasikas (female lay devotees), young boys, and young girls who constantly gather their five senses and focus their minds with utmost sincerity, and who pay homage, respect, make offerings, and recite my mantras, I, Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Śrī-devi, will constantly emanate the essence of the earth to nourish them, increasing their lifespan. The vital energy of the earth will fill their bodies, and practitioners will gain good complexion and strength, gain mindfulness, gain joy, gain diligence, gain great wisdom, gain eloquence, attain the Three Vidyas and Six Supernormal Powers (Buddhist siddhis), be loved and respected by humans and devas, and obtain immeasurable and inexhaustible great merit, like the merit of a Chakravartin (Wheel-Turning King). The places where practitioners reside will be like the gardens of Trayastrimsa Heaven. In this life, the next life, and in thousands upon thousands of lives, they will obtain immense and vast blessings, and be supported by tens of millions of family members every day. Innumerable sentient beings in difficult circumstances will also receive assistance, and their storehouses will be filled with the seven treasures, possessing endless elephant jewels, horse jewels, wheel jewels, and wish-fulfilling woman jewels, which will come without being summoned, and their lifespans will be unlimited. Such Dharma-practicing bhikshus will receive ample provisions of various gold, silver, precious jewels, various necessities, and various grains. Those who focus their minds in this way from the early night to the middle and late night, sitting, lying down, walking, and standing, constantly reciting the Dharma, with no external distractions in their minds. Practitioners who build temples or construct houses, or plant forests, or provide clothing, food, bedding, and medicine for the sick, and various necessities, will always supply them, ensuring they lack nothing, and they themselves will attain peace and stability, free from sorrow, with constant joy in their hearts, obtaining good fields of merit, and becoming vessels of the Dharma. Having given in this way, they will receive great rewards in future lives, deeply delighting in the Dharma, not being born in evil realms, and not creating evil deeds. I will protect them in this way, enabling them to cultivate loving-kindness and compassion. Thus, all kinds of supreme and wonderful roots of goodness will grow.'


不減。佛言善哉善哉。此是汝等精進之心。于大乘中速能增長福之力。

爾時地神堅牢及功德天。相與白佛言。為欲利益安樂故說心真言。爾時佛告地神功德言。汝等善哉為利益一切眾生欲說神咒。隨汝恣意說。即說咒曰。

曩莫三曼多母馱南(一)唵(二)缽羅(二合)婆(三)啰怛你(四)設哩三曼多(五)阿馱阿馱(六)阿豆阿豆(七)比里底毗比里底毗曳(八)莎訶

若有人誦持此咒滿足十萬遍。為最初法誦咒供養地天者。富貴無極七珍無限。速成一切悉地。

又次說根本身印。

合掌以二頭指及二小指叉在掌中。二中二無名直立頭相拄。以二大指並立。押二頭指側大指來去。成辦諸事業。

複次說諸成就護摩之法。以稻穀華護摩。得五穀豐登成就。

又法以阇底華護摩。蠶養千斤成就。

又法以粳米護摩。得無盡福德及殖生生福田。

又法一神居住之處。眾人來集其所護摩。得巨多富。

又法以大麥小麥護摩。富貴。

又法以兢婁草護摩。得無數六畜財。

又法大藥叉住古墓前。以阇底華護摩。得大富。

又法以含華護摩。得人愛。

又法福神所住欲呼得者。以青馬尾各絕截一寸二十一支。每時護摩念。福神必來

【English Translation】 English version: 'It will not diminish.' The Buddha said, 'Excellent, excellent! This is your mind of diligence, which can quickly increase the power of blessings in the Mahayana.' At that time, the earth goddess Drdha (steadfast earth goddess) and the goddess of merit Sri-devi (goddess who brings merit and wealth) together said to the Buddha, 'For the sake of benefiting and bringing happiness to sentient beings, please speak the heart mantra.' At that time, the Buddha said to the earth goddess and the goddess of merit, 'You are very good, wanting to speak the divine mantra for the benefit of all sentient beings. Speak as you wish.' Then he spoke the mantra: 'Namo Samanta Buddhanam (Homage to all Buddhas universally) Om Pra Bha Ratni Sari Samanta Adha Adha Ado Ado Prthivi Prthiviye Svaha' If someone recites this mantra one hundred thousand times, as the initial practice, reciting the mantra to make offerings to the earth deity, then they will have limitless wealth and nobility, possess infinite seven treasures, and quickly accomplish all siddhis (achievements). Next, he spoke of the fundamental body mudra (hand gesture): Join the palms together, cross the index fingers and little fingers of both hands inside the palms. Keep the middle fingers and ring fingers straight, touching their tips. Place the two thumbs side by side, pressing against the sides of the index fingers, the thumbs can move back and forth. This can accomplish various undertakings. Again, he spoke of the methods of homa (fire offering) for various accomplishments. Performing homa with rice paddy flowers can achieve abundant harvests of the five grains. Another method, performing homa with Jati flowers (jasmine flowers) can achieve a thousand catties of silk production. Another method, performing homa with japonica rice can obtain endless blessings and cultivate fields of blessings life after life. Another method, in a place where a deity resides, if many people gather there to perform homa, they can obtain great wealth. Another method, performing homa with barley and wheat can bring wealth and nobility. Another method, performing homa with Cynodon dactylon grass can obtain countless livestock wealth. Another method, if a great Yaksha (guardian deity) dwells in front of an ancient tomb, performing homa with Jati flowers (jasmine flowers) can obtain great wealth. Another method, performing homa with lotus flowers can gain the love of people. Another method, if in a place where a fortune deity resides, and you wish to summon the deity, cut twenty-one pieces of blue horse tail hair, each one inch long. Recite the mantra each time you perform homa, and the fortune deity will surely come.


付我身。

又法青馬屎。以前地天明加持二十一遍。即壇上及倍人乞大灶額上涂。即得如意富。

又法以青馬額發毛。福神祭二十一支。福神必悅授福。

又法有福人家灶額上土取。臘月八日持來我所安置。必得富。取土時用前天咒二十一遍。須達多優婆塞。壇畢理優婆塞福寶光明優婆夷。行此法。

又法土氣強盛為。四眾致刑罰。又以前明加持得除差。

又法長者家碓下土取護摩。必得富。

又法長者墓口裡土取護摩。又得富。

可畫堅牢地神像法。

男天肉色。左手持缽盛華。右手掌向外。女天白肉色。右手抱當心。左亦抱當股。

又有一種方法,取有福人家灶臺額頭上的土,在臘月八日帶到我這裡安置,必定能得到財富。取土的時候用之前的地天咒語加持二十一遍。須達多(Sudatta,樂善好施的長者)優婆塞(Upasaka,男居士),壇畢理(壇畢理)優婆塞,福寶光明(福寶光明)優婆夷(Upasika,女居士),都可以施行此法。

又有一種方法,如果土氣過於強盛,會導致四眾(比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞、優婆夷)遭受刑罰。用之前所說的地天咒語加持,可以消除災禍。

又有一種方法,取長者家舂米的碓下的土進行護摩(Homa,火供),必定能得到財富。

又有一種方法,取長者墓地入口處的土進行護摩,也能得到財富。

可以繪製堅牢地神(Dhrti, 土地神)的畫像的方法:

【English Translation】 English version: I offer my body.

Another method involves taking green horse manure and, before using it, chanting the Earth Deity mantra twenty-one times. Then, apply it to the altar and the forehead of the large stove of the person you wish to multiply wealth for, and you will obtain wealth as desired.

Another method involves using hair from the forehead of a green horse. Offer it to the Fortune Deity twenty-one times, and the Fortune Deity will surely be pleased and bestow blessings.

Another method involves taking soil from the forehead of the stove in a fortunate person's home. Bring it to my place and set it up on the eighth day of the twelfth month, and you will surely obtain wealth. When taking the soil, use the aforementioned Earth Deity mantra and chant it twenty-one times. Sudatta (Sudatta, a generous elder) Upasaka (Upasaka, a male lay Buddhist), Tanbili (Tanbili) Upasaka, Fubaoguangming (Fubaoguangming) Upasika (Upasika, a female lay Buddhist), can all perform this method.

Another method: if the earth energy is too strong, it can cause the four assemblies (bhikshus, bhikshunis, upasakas, upasikas) to suffer punishment. By chanting the aforementioned Earth Deity mantra, you can eliminate disasters.

Another method involves taking soil from under the rice mortar in an elder's home and performing homa (Homa, fire offering). You will surely obtain wealth.

Another method involves taking soil from the entrance of an elder's tomb and performing homa. You will also obtain wealth.

A method for drawing the image of the steadfast Earth Deity (Dhrti, Earth God):

The male deity is flesh-colored, holding a bowl filled with flowers in his left hand, and his right palm facing outward. The female deity is white, holding her chest with her right hand, and also holding her thigh with her left hand.
