我今為末世薄福眾生故。說是北極七星供養護摩次第儀則。于靜室中作一水壇。或方或圓各足一肘。以茅香甘松熏陸龍腦白檀五味和合泥塗之。其壇場內安著圓爐。飲食果子分別置之。燒食謂飯食果餅酥蜜等。但五穀並乳木。隨人命星相撿用之。
先啟詞曰 至心奉啟北極七明娜羅貪狼巨門祿存文曲廉貞武曲破軍尊星。為陀主某甲。災厄解脫壽命延長得見百秋。今作曼荼羅。唯愿垂哀降臨此處。納受護摩。擁護施主某甲。災難解脫壽命增長所愿從心(三遍)。
次結其印。虛心合掌。以二大指。捻二無名指甲。二中指二小指如蓮葉。二頭指小開屈來去。
次誦一字頂輪王真言。並召北斗七星真言。
頂輪真言曰。

我今爲了末法時代福薄的眾生，宣說這北極七星供養護摩的次第儀則。在安靜的房間里設定一個水壇，或方形或圓形，大小一肘即可。用茅香、甘松、熏陸、龍腦、白檀五種香料混合泥土塗抹水壇。在壇場內安放圓爐，飲食果品分別放置。燒食指的是飯食、果餅、酥蜜等。至於五穀和乳木，根據個人的命星來選擇使用。
首先念誦啟請詞：『至心奉請北極七明星——娜羅（Nara，人的意思）、貪狼、巨門、祿存、文曲、廉貞、武曲、破軍尊星。爲了信徒某甲，祈求災厄解脫，壽命延長，得見百秋。今作曼荼羅（Mandala，壇場）。唯愿諸星垂憐降臨此處，納受護摩，擁護施主某甲，災難解脫，壽命增長，所愿從心。（唸誦三遍）』
其次結印。虛心合掌，用兩個大拇指捏住兩個無名指的指甲，兩個中指和兩個小指如蓮葉般展開，兩個食指稍微分開並彎曲來回搖動。
然後誦唸一字頂輪王真言，以及召請北斗七星真言。

曩 嘛 三 曼 多 那 羅 那 曳 醯

The Secret Essential Ritual of the Homa for the Big Dipper
Narrated by the Abhisheka (灌頂) Acharya (阿阇梨, teacher) of the Translation Institute of Daxingshan Temple (大興善寺)
Now, for the sake of sentient beings with meager blessings in the Dharma-ending Age, I will explain the sequential rituals for offering and performing the Homa to the Big Dipper. In a quiet room, create a water altar, either square or round, measuring one elbow in size. Mix Mao Xiang (茅香), Gansong (甘松), Xunlu (熏陸), Longnao (龍腦), and white sandalwood (白檀) five kinds of aromatics with mud and apply it to the altar. Place a round stove within the altar area, and arrange food and fruits separately. The burnt offerings refer to cooked rice, fruits, cakes, ghee, honey, and the like. As for the five grains and milk wood, select and use them according to one's natal star.
First, recite the invocation: 'With utmost sincerity, I reverently invite the Seven Stars of the North Pole—Nara (娜羅, meaning 'person'), Tanlang (貪狼), Jumen (巨門), Lucun (祿存), Wenqu (文曲), Lianzhen (廉貞), Wuqu (武曲), and Pojun (破軍). For the sake of the devotee, so-and-so, may calamities be dissolved, lifespan be extended, and may they live to a hundred autumns. Now, I create this Mandala (曼荼羅, sacred space). May the stars have compassion and descend upon this place, accept the Homa, and protect the benefactor, so-and-so, that calamities be dissolved, lifespan be increased, and all wishes be fulfilled. (Recite three times)'
Next, form the mudra (印, hand gesture). Bring the palms together with a hollow space between them. Use both thumbs to press down on the fingernails of both ring fingers. Spread the middle and little fingers like lotus petals. Slightly separate and bend the index fingers, moving them back and forth.
Then, recite the One-Syllable Crown Chakra King Dharani (一字頂輪王真言), and the Dharani for Inviting the Big Dipper.
The Crown Chakra Dharani says:

以手取木及谷並酥蜜油等。擲之於爐內火燒之。自專視其本命之星。若動搖變色。光照通爍光貌黃白者。即應愿如來依前法七日夜而為之。必應如事不即其星藏沒不見(決云不求也)謂北斗七星者日月五星之精也。曩括七曜照臨八方上曜于天神下直於人間。以司善惡而分禍福。群星所朝宗萬靈所俯仰。若有人能禮拜供養長壽福貴。不信敬者運命不久。是以祿命書云。世有司命神每至庚申日。上向天帝陳說眾人之罪惡。重罪者則徹算。輕罪者則去紀。算書紀告即主命已者。是故如來為末世薄福短命夭死眾生故。說是一字頂輪王召北斗七星供養護摩之儀則。為供養者。令其屬命星數削死籍還付生籍。若諸國王于自宮中作曼茶羅。如法護摩禮拜供養。北斗歡喜為擁護故。久居勝位恒受安穩。后妃夫人後宮綵女。王子群臣三公百官。上下和穆不行非法。人民熾盛稼穡豐饒國土安寧。無有災難不現怪異。疫

用手拿取木頭、穀物以及酥油、蜂蜜、食用油等，投入爐內用火焚燒。專注地看著自己的本命星。如果本命星動搖變色，光芒照耀通透閃爍，光芒呈現黃白色，就應該依照愿如來之前的做法，連續七日夜進行祈禱，必定會如願以償。如果本命星立即隱藏消失不見（意味著不應祈求）。 這裡所說的北斗七星，是日月五星的精華所在。它統攝七曜（日、月、金、木、水、火、土七大星體），照臨八方，上曜于天神，下直於人間，掌管善惡，區分禍福。群星都朝向它，萬靈都俯首仰望它。如果有人能夠禮拜供養北斗七星，就能長壽、有福、尊貴。不相信、不敬重它的人，命運不會長久。因此，祿命書上說，世間有司命神，每到庚申日，就會上向天帝陳述眾人的罪惡。罪惡深重的人，就會被削減壽命；罪惡輕微的人，就會被減少年限。算書紀告之後，就主宰著人的命運。 因此，如來爲了末世福薄、短命、夭死的眾生，宣說了這一字頂輪王召請北斗七星供養護摩的儀軌。為供養者，使其所屬的命星數從死亡名籍中刪除，返回到出生名籍中。如果各位國王在自己的宮中設定曼茶羅（壇場），如法進行護摩、禮拜、供養，北斗七星就會歡喜，爲了保護國王，使其長久處於尊勝的地位，恒常享受安穩。后妃夫人、後宮綵女、王子群臣、三公百官，上下和睦，不行非法之事，人民繁盛，莊稼豐收，國家安定，沒有災難，不出現怪異現象，瘟疫也會消除。

Take wood, grains, ghee, honey, oil, etc., with your hands and throw them into the furnace to be burned by fire. Focus on your natal star. If the natal star shakes, changes color, shines brightly, and the light appears yellow and white, then you should follow the previous method of Wish-fulfilling Tathagata and pray for seven days and nights continuously, and you will surely get your wish. If the natal star immediately hides and disappears (meaning that you should not ask for it). The Big Dipper mentioned here is the essence of the sun, moon, and five planets. It governs the seven luminaries (sun, moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn), illuminates the eight directions, shines upon the gods in the heavens, and governs the affairs of humans on earth, managing good and evil, and distinguishing between fortune and misfortune. All the stars face it, and all spirits look up to it. If someone can worship and make offerings to the Big Dipper, they will have longevity, fortune, and honor. Those who do not believe in it or respect it will not have a long destiny. Therefore, it is said in the books of fate that there is a God of Destiny in the world who, on every Gengshen day, reports the sins of all people to the Heavenly Emperor. Those with serious sins will have their lifespans reduced, and those with minor sins will have their years reduced. After the account is reported, it will determine the fate of people. Therefore, for the sake of sentient beings in the degenerate age who have little fortune, short lives, and die young, the Tathagata proclaimed the ritual of the One-Syllable Crown Wheel King summoning the Big Dipper to make offerings and perform homa. For the offerer, the number of their natal stars is removed from the register of death and returned to the register of birth. If the kings set up a mandala (altar) in their palaces and perform homa, worship, and make offerings according to the Dharma, the Big Dipper will be pleased and protect the kings, so that they will be in a position of honor and constantly enjoy peace. The consorts, concubines, princes, ministers, and officials will be harmonious, will not engage in illegal activities, the people will be prosperous, the crops will be abundant, the country will be peaceful, there will be no disasters, no strange phenomena will appear, and epidemics will be eliminated.
病死亡不起。境內怨敵群賊自然退散。故以是法甚為秘要。
