佛說相應相可經

佛在舍衛國請諸比丘，比丘即到。佛告比丘，比丘應：「唯然，從佛聞。」
佛便說：「是不聞者，不聞者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；多聞者，多聞者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。貪淫者，貪淫者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；不貪淫者，不貪淫者俱相類、相聚、相應、相可。瞋恚者，瞋恚者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；不瞋恚者，不瞋恚者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。愚癡者，愚癡者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；慧者，慧者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。佈施者，佈施者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；慳貪者，慳貪者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。少欲者，少欲者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；多欲者，多欲者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。不持戒者，不持戒者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；持戒者，持戒者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。難給者，難給者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；易給者，易給者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可

English version The Sutra of Corresponding and Agreeing, Spoken by the Buddha Translated by the Śramaṇa Dharmaruchi of the Western Jin Dynasty The Buddha was in Śrāvastī, and he summoned the monks. The monks arrived. The Buddha told the monks, and the monks responded: 'Yes, we will listen to the Buddha.' The Buddha then said: 'Those who do not hear the Dharma gather with those who do not hear the Dharma; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who hear much of the Dharma gather with those who hear much of the Dharma; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who are greedy for sensual pleasures gather with those who are greedy for sensual pleasures; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who are not greedy for sensual pleasures gather with those who are not greedy for sensual pleasures; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who are filled with anger gather with those who are filled with anger; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who are not filled with anger gather with those who are not filled with anger; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who are foolish gather with those who are foolish; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who are wise gather with those who are wise; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who give generously gather with those who give generously; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. Those who are stingy and greedy gather with those who are stingy and greedy; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they agree. 。不知足者，不知足者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；知足者，知足者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。不自守者，不自守者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可；自守者，自守者俱，相類、相聚、相應、相可。」
佛說：「比丘！如是慧人當分別是因緣，可行者行之，不可行者莫行。」
佛說如是。比丘受行著意
現代漢語譯本：不知足的人，和不知足的人在一起，他們相似、相聚、相應、相合；知足的人，和知足的人在一起，他們相似、相聚、相應、相合。不能自我約束的人，和不能自我約束的人在一起，他們相似、相聚、相應、相合；能自我約束的人，和能自我約束的人在一起，他們相似、相聚、相應、相合。 佛說：『比丘！有智慧的人應當分辨這些因緣，可以做的就去做，不可以做的就不要做。』 佛是這樣說的。比丘們聽了之後，都認真地去實踐。
English version: Those who are not content gather with others who are not content; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they are compatible. Those who are content gather with others who are content; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they are compatible. Those who cannot restrain themselves gather with others who cannot restrain themselves; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they are compatible. Those who can restrain themselves gather with others who can restrain themselves; they are similar, they gather together, they correspond, and they are compatible. The Buddha said, 'Monks! A wise person should discern these causes and conditions. What is appropriate to do, do it; what is not appropriate to do, do not do it.' The Buddha spoke thus. The monks received and practiced it attentively.
