施食獲五福報經(亦名佛說施色力經)

聞如是:

一時,佛游舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。是時,佛告諸比丘眾:「當知食以節受而名損。」

佛言:「人持飯食施人,有五福德,智者訊息意度弘廓,則有五福德道。何謂為五?一曰施命,二曰施色,三曰施力,四曰施安,五曰施辯。

「何謂施命?一切眾生依食而立身命,不得飯食不過七日奄忽壽終,是故施食者則施命也。其施命者,世世長壽生天世間,命不中夭,衣食自然財富無量。

「何謂施色?得施食者顏色光澤,不得食時忿無潤形,面目燋悴不可顯示,是故施食者則施顏色。其施色者,世世端正生天世間,姿貌煒煒世之希有,見莫不觀稽首為禮。

「何者施力?人得飯食氣力強盛,舉動進止不以為難,不得食者飢渴熱惱氣息虛羸,是故施食則施力也。其施力者,世世多力,生天世間力無等雙,出入進止而不衰耗。

「何謂施安?人得飯食,身為安隱不以為患,不得食者,心愁身危坐起無賴不能自定,是故施食,則施安也。其施安者,世世無患心安身強,生天世間不受眾殃,所可至到常遇賢良,財富無數不中夭傷。

「何謂施辯?得施食者,氣充意強言語通利,不得食者身劣意弱,不得說事口難發言,是故施食則施辯才。其施辯者,世世聰明生天世間,言辭辯慧口辯流利無一瑕穢,聞者喜悅莫不戴仰。是五福德施

現代漢語譯本 《施食獲五福報經》(又名《佛說施色力經》) 譯者失名,今附於東晉錄。 我聽聞是這樣的: 一時,佛在舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。當時,佛告訴眾比丘:『應當知道,飲食要節制,過量則有害。』 佛說:『人拿飯食佈施給他人,有五種福德,智者能理解並擴充套件其意義,就能獲得五種福德之道。這五種是什麼呢?一是施命,二是施色,三是施力,四是施安,五是施辯。』 『什麼是施命?一切眾生依靠食物維持生命,如果得不到食物,最多七天就會死亡。所以佈施食物就是佈施生命。佈施生命的人,世世代代長壽,生於天上或人間,不會中途夭折,衣食自然豐足,財富無量。』 『什麼是施色?得到食物的人臉色光澤,得不到食物的人則面色憔悴,沒有光彩,難以示人。所以佈施食物就是佈施顏色。佈施顏色的人,世世代代容貌端正,生於天上或人間,姿態美好,世間少有,見到的人無不瞻仰禮拜。』 『什麼是施力?人得到食物,氣力強盛,舉手投足都很容易,得不到食物的人則飢渴熱惱,氣息虛弱。所以佈施食物就是佈施力量。佈施力量的人,世世代代力大無窮,生於天上或人間,力量無比,出入行走都不會衰弱。』 『什麼是施安?人得到食物,身體安穩沒有疾病,得不到食物的人則心煩意亂,身體虛弱,坐立不安。所以佈施食物就是佈施安穩。佈施安穩的人,世世代代沒有疾病,身心安康,生於天上或人間,不受災禍,所到之處常遇賢良,財富無數,不會中途夭折。』 『什麼是施辯?得到食物的人,氣足意強,說話流暢,得不到食物的人則身體虛弱,意志消沉,難以說話。所以佈施食物就是佈施辯才。佈施辯才的人,世世代代聰明,生於天上或人間,言辭辯捷,口才流利,沒有瑕疵,聽者喜悅,無不敬仰。』這五種福德,是佈施食物所獲得的。

English version 'The Sutra on Obtaining Five Blessings Through Giving Food' (also known as 'The Buddha's Discourse on Giving Color and Strength') The name of the translator is lost, now attached to the Eastern Jin record. Thus have I heard: At one time, the Buddha was dwelling in the Jeta Grove of Anathapindika in Shravasti. At that time, the Buddha told the assembly of monks: 'You should know that eating should be done in moderation, excess is harmful.' The Buddha said: 'When a person gives food to others, there are five blessings. A wise person who understands and expands on this meaning will obtain the path of five blessings. What are these five? First is giving life, second is giving color, third is giving strength, fourth is giving peace, and fifth is giving eloquence.' 'What is giving life? All living beings rely on food to sustain their lives. If they do not receive food, they will die within seven days. Therefore, giving food is giving life. Those who give life will have long lives in every lifetime, whether born in heaven or in the human realm. They will not die prematurely, and their clothing and food will be naturally abundant, with immeasurable wealth.' 'What is giving color? Those who receive food have a radiant complexion, while those who do not receive food have a withered and dull appearance, difficult to show. Therefore, giving food is giving color. Those who give color will have beautiful appearances in every lifetime, whether born in heaven or in the human realm. Their forms will be magnificent and rare in the world, and those who see them will look up to them and bow in reverence.' 'What is giving strength? Those who receive food have strong energy, and their movements are easy. Those who do not receive food are hungry, thirsty, and distressed, with weak breath. Therefore, giving food is giving strength. Those who give strength will have great power in every lifetime, whether born in heaven or in the human realm. Their strength will be unmatched, and their movements will not weaken.' 'What is giving peace? Those who receive food have a peaceful and healthy body, while those who do not receive food are troubled in mind, weak in body, and restless. Therefore, giving food is giving peace. Those who give peace will be free from illness in every lifetime, with a peaceful mind and strong body, whether born in heaven or in the human realm. They will not suffer calamities, and they will always encounter virtuous people, with immeasurable wealth, and will not die prematurely.' 'What is giving eloquence? Those who receive food have strong energy and clear speech, while those who do not receive food are weak in body and spirit, and have difficulty speaking. Therefore, giving food is giving eloquence. Those who give eloquence will be intelligent in every lifetime, whether born in heaven or in the human realm. Their speech will be eloquent and fluent, without any flaws. Those who hear them will be delighted and will look up to them with reverence.' These five blessings are obtained through giving food.


。若發道意施於一切,既得此福,所生之處常見現在佛咨受深法,四等、四恩,六度無極、三十七品,法身現相壽命無窮相好分明,三十二相,致十種力以成佛道,為立大安普濟危厄,智慧辯才出萬億音度脫十方。」

佛說是經時,諸比丘眾、天龍鬼神、四部弟子,莫不歡喜,作禮而去

現代漢語譯本:如果將佛法的真諦施予一切眾生,就能獲得這樣的福報:所投生之處常常能見到佛陀,並接受深奧的佛法教誨,包括四無量心、四重恩、六度波羅蜜、三十七道品等。能證得法身,顯現無盡的壽命和莊嚴的相貌,具足三十二相,最終成就十力,圓滿佛道。爲了建立大安穩,普遍救濟危難,以智慧和辯才發出無量音聲,度脫十方眾生。 當佛陀宣講這部經時,所有的比丘僧眾、天龍鬼神、以及四部弟子,無不歡喜,向佛作禮后離去。

English version: If one were to apply the essence of the Dharma to all beings, one would attain such blessings: in every place of rebirth, one would constantly see the present Buddha and receive profound Dharma teachings, including the Four Immeasurables, the Four Debts of Gratitude, the Six Perfections, and the Thirty-seven Factors of Enlightenment. One would realize the Dharmakaya, manifest endless life and majestic appearances, possess the thirty-two marks, and ultimately achieve the ten powers, completing the path to Buddhahood. To establish great peace and universally relieve dangers, one would use wisdom and eloquence to emit countless sounds, liberating beings in all ten directions. When the Buddha finished expounding this sutra, all the monks, the gods, dragons, ghosts, and the fourfold assembly of disciples were filled with joy, bowed to the Buddha, and departed.
