佛說過去世佛分衛經

佛言:「過世有佛入城分衛,與尊弟子諸菩薩俱;弟子菩薩姿容相好,皆悉端正,如本所行各得其道。
「有一母人,妊身數月,見佛及僧有所至奏,心自計愿:『我所懷子生,如此使為沙門佛弟子。』日月滿足即生安隱,兒亦姝好與眾人異,母以恩愛無意令兒行作沙門,中有覺意,即自念言:『我前有愿,若我生子當使為道,兒今已生,有異凡人,令我安隱,復無惡露,不可戀嫪恩愛之故,違我本心。』
「子年七歲,家復貧狹,即作二人飯具,及三法衣,手持澡瓶,自將其子行詣佛所,稽首佛足,前白佛言:『愿哀我子使為沙門,令后得道,身形如佛。』佛即聽之,令作沙門。母以澡灌,前洗兒手,應時九龍從瓶口出,吐水灌兒手中,澡訖殘水散兒頭上,水之潺渧于兒頭上,化成華蓋珠交絡帳。中有師子座,上有坐佛。佛笑,口中五色光出,照十億佛剎,還繞佛身從兒頂入。母以飯具前上佛,並食其子,便發無上平等道意,應時十億佛剎為六反震動,眾剎諸佛皆自然現
現代漢語譯本 佛說:『過去有一位佛陀進入城市乞食,與他尊敬的弟子菩薩們同行。弟子菩薩們容貌端莊,相貌美好,都非常端正,如同他們原本所修行的那樣各自證得了道果。 『有一位婦人,懷胎數月,看見佛陀和僧眾前來,心中暗自發願:『我所懷的孩子出生后,要讓他像這樣成為沙門,做佛的弟子。』到了足月,孩子平安出生,容貌也俊美,與常人不同。母親因為疼愛,不捨得讓孩子出家做沙門。但她心中又有所覺悟,便自己思量道:『我之前發過愿,如果我生了兒子,就應當讓他出家修道。現在孩子已經出生,與常人不同,讓我平安無事,也沒有產後不適。我不能因為貪戀恩愛,就違揹我最初的心願。』 『孩子七歲時,家中又很貧困,母親就準備了兩人的飯食,以及三件法衣,手持澡瓶,親自帶著孩子前往佛陀所在之處,向佛陀頂禮,然後稟告佛陀說:『希望您慈悲,允許我的孩子出家做沙門,讓他將來能夠得道,身形像佛陀一樣。』佛陀就答應了,讓他出家做沙門。母親用澡瓶里的水,先洗了兒子的手,當時有九條龍從瓶口出來,吐水洗滌兒子的手。洗完后,剩下的水灑在兒子的頭上,水滴在兒子的頭上,化成華蓋,珠光交錯,如同帳幔。華蓋中出現獅子座,座上有佛陀端坐。佛陀微笑,口中發出五色光芒,照耀十億佛剎,然後又繞佛身,從孩子的頭頂進入。母親將飯食供養佛陀,並讓兒子也吃了。她隨即發起了無上平等道心,當時十億佛剎發生了六種震動,所有佛剎中的諸佛都自然顯現。』
English version The Buddha said, 'In the past, there was a Buddha who entered a city for alms, accompanied by his revered disciples, the Bodhisattvas. The disciple Bodhisattvas were dignified in appearance, with beautiful features, all very upright, having each attained their respective paths as they had originally practiced. 'There was a woman, several months pregnant, who saw the Buddha and the Sangha approaching. She secretly made a vow in her heart: 'When the child I am carrying is born, I will make him a Shramana, a disciple of the Buddha, just like them.' When the time came, the child was born safely, with a handsome appearance, different from ordinary people. The mother, out of love, was reluctant to let her child become a Shramana. However, she had an awakening in her heart and thought to herself: 'I had previously made a vow that if I had a son, I would have him leave home to practice the Way. Now that the child has been born, he is different from ordinary people, has brought me peace, and I have had no postpartum discomfort. I cannot, because of my attachment to love, go against my original intention.' 'When the child was seven years old, the family was very poor. The mother prepared food for two people, as well as three Dharma robes, and holding a water pitcher, she personally took her child to where the Buddha was. She bowed at the Buddha's feet and then reported to the Buddha, saying: 'I hope you will be compassionate and allow my child to become a Shramana, so that he may attain the Way in the future, and his form will be like the Buddha's.' The Buddha agreed and allowed him to become a Shramana. The mother used the water from the pitcher to first wash her son's hands. At that moment, nine dragons emerged from the mouth of the pitcher, spouting water to wash the child's hands. After washing, the remaining water was sprinkled on the child's head. The water droplets on the child's head transformed into a jeweled canopy, with pearls intertwined like curtains. Within the canopy appeared a lion throne, and on the throne sat a Buddha. The Buddha smiled, and five-colored light emanated from his mouth, illuminating ten billion Buddha lands, then circled around the Buddha's body and entered the child's head. The mother offered the food to the Buddha and also had her son eat. She then immediately generated the supreme, equal mind of the Way. At that moment, ten billion Buddha lands experienced six kinds of earthquakes, and all the Buddhas in all the Buddha lands naturally appeared.'
。佛以母飯飽,爾所佛及諸比丘僧皆等飽足,其飯如故,亦不損減;母即歡喜,及無數天人皆得阿惟越致。
「時,兒發墮成為沙門,即亦得立不退轉地。母前白佛:『今我所見,有三可怪:我澡兒手九龍吐水,此一可怪;澡已殘水散兒頭上,化成寶帳,及師子座上有坐佛,是二可怪;佛笑口中光從兒頂入,是三可怪;愿佛為我分別說之。』佛言:『此兒卻後十四劫當得作佛,九龍當浴,師子座華蓋寶帳,佛笑光從兒頂入,皆是其應。』母聞佛言倍懷踴躍,后當作母人轉輪聖王,積七百世竟,其劫壽盡轉母人身,當得阿惟越致。」
佛言:「是時小兒,我身是;我今於世功德如是。」諸天龍神、一切人民,聞佛所說,皆得阿惟越致
佛陀用母親的飯吃飽后,你所供養的佛陀和所有比丘僧也都同樣吃飽了,而飯卻像原來一樣,一點也沒有減少;母親因此非常歡喜,無數的天人和人也都得到了阿惟越致(不退轉的果位)。 當時,這個孩子剃髮出家成為沙門,也立刻證得了不退轉的果位。母親在佛陀面前稟告說:『現在我所見到的,有三件奇怪的事情:我給孩子洗手時,有九條龍吐水,這是第一件奇怪的事;洗完手后,剩下的水灑在孩子頭上,化成寶帳,以及獅子座上有佛坐著,這是第二件奇怪的事;佛陀微笑時,口中的光從孩子的頭頂進入,這是第三件奇怪的事;希望佛陀為我分別解釋這些事情。』佛陀說:『這個孩子在十四劫之後將會成佛,九龍沐浴、獅子座、華蓋寶帳、佛陀微笑時口中發出的光從孩子頭頂進入,這些都是他成佛的預兆。』母親聽了佛陀的話,更加歡喜踴躍,後來她將轉世成為轉輪聖王的母親,積累七百世的功德后,當她這一劫的壽命結束,轉生為人身時,將會得到阿惟越致(不退轉的果位)。』 佛陀說:『當時的小孩,就是我的前身;我如今在世間的功德就是這樣。』諸天龍神、一切人民,聽了佛陀所說,都得到了阿惟越致(不退轉的果位)。
After the Buddha was full from his mother's meal, the Buddha and all the Bhikkhu Sangha you offered were also equally full, yet the meal remained as it was, without any reduction; the mother was therefore very joyful, and countless Devas and humans also attained Aviveka-kṣānti (the state of non-retrogression). At that time, the child shaved his head and became a Samana, and immediately attained the state of non-retrogression. The mother reported to the Buddha: 'Now, what I have seen, there are three strange things: when I washed the child's hands, nine dragons spouted water, this is the first strange thing; after washing, the remaining water sprinkled on the child's head, transformed into a jeweled canopy, and there was a Buddha sitting on a lion throne, this is the second strange thing; when the Buddha smiled, the light from his mouth entered the child's head, this is the third strange thing; I hope the Buddha will explain these things separately for me.' The Buddha said: 'This child will become a Buddha after fourteen kalpas, the nine dragons bathing, the lion throne, the jeweled canopy, and the light from the Buddha's mouth entering the child's head when he smiles, these are all omens of his Buddhahood.' The mother, upon hearing the Buddha's words, was even more joyful and elated, later she will be reborn as the mother of a Chakravartin king, after accumulating merits for seven hundred lifetimes, when the lifespan of this kalpa ends, and she is reborn as a human, she will attain Aviveka-kṣānti (the state of non-retrogression).' The Buddha said: 'The child at that time, was my former self; my merits in the world today are like this.' All the Devas, dragons, and all the people, upon hearing what the Buddha said, all attained Aviveka-kṣānti (the state of non-retrogression).
