佛說灌頂王喻經

西天譯經三藏朝奉大夫試光祿卿傳法大師賜紫臣施護等奉 詔譯

爾時世尊,在舍衛國,以因緣故,告諸苾芻言:「汝等當知,有三剎帝利王,於三時中,在於某方,受王灌頂;而彼三王,乃至盡壽,常所思念。何等為三?謂第一王,年方少盛,依灌頂法,在於某方,受王灌頂;得灌頂已,乃至盡壽,常所思念。又第二王,功力漸大,依灌頂法,在於某方,受王灌頂;得灌頂已,乃至盡壽,常所思念。又第三王,有大威力,戰勇最勝,一切對敵,而悉信伏;以最勝故,得勝安住,依灌頂法,在於某方,受王灌頂;得灌頂已,乃至盡壽,常所思念。

現代漢語譯本 佛陀在舍衛國時,因某種因緣,告訴眾比丘:『你們應當知道,有三位剎帝利王,在三個不同的時期,在某個地方接受了灌頂成為國王;而這三位國王,直到他們生命的盡頭,都常常思念著這件事。這三位國王是哪三位呢?第一位國王,正值年輕力壯,按照灌頂的儀式,在某個地方接受了灌頂成為國王;得到灌頂后,直到他生命的盡頭,都常常思念著這件事。第二位國王,功績和力量逐漸強大,按照灌頂的儀式,在某個地方接受了灌頂成為國王;得到灌頂后,直到他生命的盡頭,都常常思念著這件事。第三位國王,擁有強大的威力,作戰時最為勇猛,所有敵人都被他征服;因為他最強大,所以能夠安穩地統治,按照灌頂的儀式,在某個地方接受了灌頂成為國王;得到灌頂后,直到他生命的盡頭,都常常思念著這件事。』 『你們這些比丘,也是如此,在三個不同的時期,在某個地方進行修行和證悟,直到生命的盡頭,都常常思念著這件事。』

English version At that time, the World Honored One was in Shravasti. Due to certain circumstances, he told the bhikshus, 'You should know that there are three Kshatriya kings who, at three different times, in a certain place, received the royal consecration; and these three kings, until the end of their lives, constantly thought about this. Who are these three? The first king, in his prime, according to the consecration ritual, in a certain place, received the royal consecration; having received the consecration, until the end of his life, he constantly thought about this. The second king, whose merits and power gradually increased, according to the consecration ritual, in a certain place, received the royal consecration; having received the consecration, until the end of his life, he constantly thought about this. The third king, possessing great power, being the most courageous in battle, all enemies were subdued by him; because he was the most powerful, he was able to rule peacefully, according to the consecration ritual, in a certain place, received the royal consecration; having received the consecration, until the end of his life, he constantly thought about this.' 'You bhikshus are also like this, at three different times, in a certain place, you engage in practice and realization, and until the end of your lives, you constantly think about this.'

。何等為三?謂有苾芻,發正信心,舍家出家,剃除鬚髮,被袈裟衣;此為第一,在於某方修苾芻事,乃至盡壽,常所思念。又有苾芻,修諸勝行,為證滅故,斷諸集法;如是知已,遠塵離垢,于諸法中,得法眼凈;此為第二,在於某方修苾芻事,乃至盡壽,常所思念。又有苾芻,諸漏已盡,非漏隨增,心善解脫,慧善解脫,自智所證,已得成就:我生已盡,梵行已立,所作已辦,不受後有;此為第三,在於某方證聖果事,乃至盡壽,常所思念

The second is that there is a Bhikkhu who cultivates various superior practices, in order to realize cessation, cuts off all accumulated dharmas; having understood thus, he is far from dust and defilement, and in all dharmas, obtains the pure eye of dharma; this is the second, in a certain place practicing the affairs of a Bhikkhu, even until the end of his life, constantly thinking about this. The third is that there is a Bhikkhu whose outflows are exhausted, no further outflows increase, his mind is well liberated, his wisdom is well liberated, having realized through his own wisdom, he has already attained: 'My birth is exhausted, the holy life is established, what had to be done is done, there is no more future existence'; this is the third, in a certain place realizing the affairs of the holy fruit, even until the end of his life, constantly thinking about this.
