【English Translation】 English version With cool hearts and yearning, focus on the Dharma's sound. I wish the Preceptor of the Precepts would widely spread the teachings, like a lake nourishing and clouds covering all. All Bodhisattvas, do not kill. Killing will surely lead to falling into great suffering in hell. Taking life will result in a short life in the next existence. In this Saha world, both eyes will be blinded by karmic retribution. I urge everyone in the Dharma assembly to jointly cease the act of killing and not engage in such actions. Disciples of the Buddha, all Bodhisattvas, do not steal others' possessions. The sin of stealing is like that of a young person who dies early and is reborn as a beast, wearing fur and horns to repay the debt. Driven and pulled all day long without rest, with no time to eat grass or drink water. It is like being lost in delusion, unaware. Therefore, I earnestly advise you to value the retribution of cause and effect. Disciples of the Buddha, all Bodhisattvas, do not engage in sexual misconduct. Sexual misconduct is the root of inverted sins. After death, one will fall into the iron bed hell, where iron beds collide with each other, and saw pillars clang loudly, vying to harm the body, causing wounds all over. Why not arouse the Bodhi mind and cut off the sin of sexual misconduct? Disciples of the Buddha, all Bodhisattvas, do not lie. Clearly not seeing but saying you saw, falsely deceiving. Those who lie will suffer the pain of having their tongues plowed by an iron plow after death, and being sawn open by a sharp saw. Or deceiving teachers, monks, and parents. If one can repent and not commit such acts again, one will surely be able to escape the suffering of hell in the future. Disciples of the Buddha, all Bodhisattvas, do not sell alcohol. Those who sell alcohol will be poured with molten copper juice after death. Flames will ignite under their feet, soaring into the sky. Hell guards will hold spears and cut off both hands. All of this is due to ignorance, delusion, and inverted thinking. The sins one commits will ultimately be borne by oneself. One will still be driven into Avici Hell, with thousands of iron walls, with no place to escape. Disciples of the Buddha, all Bodhisattvas, do not praise yourself and slander others. Praising oneself and slandering others is like washing snow with boiling water, the sin is profound. It is like falling into hell in an instant, fainting and unconscious. From morning to night, one is nailed into the eyes and ears, with blood and tears flowing. The cause of sin, the fruit of sin, and the root of sin are deep. One will even have their tongue pulled out by Ox-Head Yama, with no chance to beg for mercy. Hell guards hold instruments of torture, causing them to vent their anger. Disciples of the Buddha, all Bodhisattvas, do not slander others. Those who slander others will fall into hell together after death. Swords and blades will be added to their bodies, they will be subjected to forced labor, and cross the river of hell. Entering the mud and water, they will be stirred like boiling water in a cauldron. Experiencing all the sufferings of hell, the skin and flesh will flow away like water. When will one be able to escape the suffering of hell?

【English Translation】 Buddhako (Buddha's disciples, a respectful term for practitioners). All Bodhisattvas should not be too stingy, accumulating too much treasure. Even when faced with poor people who come to beg, they are unwilling to give even a needle or a blade of grass, unable to control their greed, and do not understand the principle of contentment. In the future, they can only enter the Yellow Springs empty-handed. Buddhako, all Bodhisattvas should not be too angry. Excessive anger will surely suffer the retribution of becoming a running snake, with a twisted body, crawling with intestines, without hands or feet. This is because in previous lives, they were often angry, and countless insects came to devour their bodies, leaving only bones and skin. The suffering endured is unbearable. When can they obtain a human body again? Buddhako, all Bodhisattvas should not slander the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). If they slander the Three Jewels, they will fall into the evil paths, and be nailed with long nails. The screams resound through the sky. Slandering the Buddha, slandering the Sangha, suffering the punishment of copper pillars and iron beds, the pain is unbearable. It is unknown when they can escape the evil paths. Buddhako asked: 'Even a tiny sin will lead to evil consequences for thousands of lifetimes, and Bodhi (Enlightenment) will be lost in an instant, indulging in the six realms of reincarnation, which is truly sad. In the heavens and the human world, what way out is there?' The answer is: 'Violating the precepts has already led to falling into the Three Evil Paths (hell, hungry ghosts, animals), and it is unknown how many years will pass.' He asked again: 'Falling into the evil paths, already suffering great pain, and having to endure countless kalpas, is truly heartbreaking. It is unknown how many years will pass, whether they can still hear the names of their parents and the Three Jewels?' The answer is: 'Bitter, bitter!' It is also said: 'The Lotus Treasury Precepts are heard today, and we all wholeheartedly hope that you can explain them in detail.' It is also said: 'I repent today, daring not to hide anything, only hoping that the Precept Master will be compassionate and explain in detail.' It is also said: 'The Master's secret teachings, the nectar-like truth, are fortunate to be heard today, and we hope that you can explain them in detail.' It is also said: 'The Tathagata's mind Dharma, difficult to hear for countless kalpas, is fortunate to be proclaimed today, and we hope that you can explain it in detail.' It is also said: 'Countless precepts are rarely encountered for proclamation, only hoping that the Precept Master will be compassionate and explain in detail.' Feeling ashamed, daring not to hide anything, opening our hearts, revealing and repenting. For countless kalpas, countless sins and obstacles, hearing this precept today, we hope to be able to eliminate them. Ashamedly making offerings to the Precept Master, with joy in our hearts.
