伏以暫乖寢膳臥疾經時。朝風晝觸于帡幃。愁雲暮結于庭際。鴛鸞帳下邕邕而憂色潛生。翡翠檐間漠漠而清煙亂起。病癒意□公謙君子洛之英才。常懷三義之心每有斷金之美。頓因璃文動玉質瘵。身羸如雪六月之花。貌悴九秋之葉。遂乃仰憑皇覺齋青眼以虔誠信啟金父仁蒙素毫而遠照喜得。六根清泰如月照秋江。三障云消似紅蓮舒于碧沼。是如信誠不昧。靈鑒昭彰。慈雲布而熱惱涼。惠影臨而沉痾頹息。既蒙諸佛衛護念。寧無慶賀之心。表於此晨用由慶贊女莊嚴。伏願碧山與壽紅樹增春。必期鏤玉之獲展星河之慶。

伏願蓮花點于性海。明月照於心臺。常居翠𣓠之年。永鎖芙蓉之帳 伏願青絲不變紅粉增春。德齊巖下之松。壽等月中之桂 伏願綠眉狀月長分八字之鮮。玉貌如春獨佔春之色 朗君子 伏願文搖五彩之筆。高視洪流覺畜九經之書。低看鮑謝。折東堂之仙桂香。發子中馳儒之曲。墳名傳海內祿萼相映。玉樹蓮芳同禮移庭。長光膝下女莊嚴松羅益翠結鳳彩而長卷庭。玉蓮芳郁仙桂而恒泰 夫人伏願浩海常流資景福而逾遠。壽山聳峻等群岳而轉高 武莊嚴金璋永[支*翟]紫綬

長榮。財盈四海之珍福。

五侯之俸事清吉。榮祿日新所謀長。遂于□動靜永康于元吉識亡考。北意將為北。當扇枕慶及溫清。何期忽翻浪以傾舟俄庭風而滅燭。孤子想幽冥之氣。竭思膝下以增悲。未申獻橘之誠。空攀傳衣之意。思立身之孝道□地無追。悲風樹之不停。痛寒泉之永隔 亡莊嚴。伏願琉璃殿內踏香砌以經行。寶樹林間擿仙花而奉 又碧池授記紅蓮化生。法水潤心香風動識 伏願甘露臺側生聞般若之音。解脫林中慶現龍花之會 伏願五云捧足逍遙歸解脫之宮。百福資靈放曠出愛纏之苦。十歲已下男子芙蓉灼灼。可頹芳顏秋月亭亭。同奇麗質親羅。喜門風之望鄉鄰嘆巷陌之珍。□□氣欲成而忽消。花正芳而忽墜。致使嚴父慈哭愛子以長愁樣萼蓮枝痛雁行之空闊夕云操操 女莊嚴。性閑皎月體凈秋霜。幼質也麗南國之風姿。禮儀也蓋西施美貌。本冀門榮碎碎𣓠光益宗枝四德傳芳輝榮九族奈河黃天不祐籌俄終。蓮花叆而桂影沉暉。芳樹雕而蘭姿罷郁。念恒娥奔月宮之長往嗟。游水流還海以不歸哀傷。父母之痠痛結姻親之念 文嘆德。量宏弘深榮欽禮樂。志超今古動合神明。氣高玉壘之云。仁量闊滄渲之水 武德嘆。風雲稟性星像間生。信立義存仁深德重。秉文秉武為紫府之良才。盡忠盡貞作無我之心腹。

【English Translation】 English version: Changrong (name, hoping for the family's lasting prosperity). Wealth fills the four seas, a precious blessing. Enjoying the emolument of the Five Marquis, everything is peaceful and auspicious. Glory and wealth are renewed daily, and all plans are successfully realized, whether in action or stillness, forever peaceful and auspicious, remembering the deceased father. Northerly thoughts will turn into a north wind, and one should express congratulations and greetings while fanning the pillow for parents. How could one expect that suddenly the wind and waves would overturn the boat, and in an instant, the wind in the courtyard would extinguish the candle. The lonely son thinks of the aura of the netherworld, exhausting thoughts to increase sorrow at the parents' knees. Unable to offer the yellow oranges of filial piety, one can only vainly recall the desire to pass on the mantle. Wanting to establish merit to glorify the ancestors, one finds that the person is gone and cannot be retrieved. Lamenting the wind blowing the trees without stopping, grieving that the yin and yang are separated forever and cannot meet. The deceased is solemn. May (wishing) in the lapis lazuli palace, walking through the fragrant steps; in the treasure tree forest, picking immortal flowers to offer. And may one receive prediction in the green pond, and a red lotus be born. The Dharma water nourishes the heart, and the fragrant wind moves the consciousness. May one hear the wonderful sound of Prajna beside the nectar platform; in the liberation forest, celebrate the appearance of the Dragon Flower Assembly. May the five-colored auspicious clouds hold up the feet of the deceased, freely returning to the palace of liberation; a hundred blessings assist the soul of the deceased, freely escaping the entanglement of love and desire. A boy under the age of ten, as bright and beautiful as a hibiscus flower, but unfortunately, the beautiful face withered like the autumn moon. Also possessing strange and beautiful qualities, close to silk and satin. Rejoicing in the prosperity of the family, neighbors praise the precious talent in the neighborhood. The beautiful aura was about to be achieved but suddenly dissipated, the flower was in full bloom but suddenly withered. So that the strict father and loving mother grieve for the loss of their beloved son for a long time, like the separation of calyx and lotus branch, grieving the vacancy of the wild goose formation, the setting sun, making people sad. The deceased is solemn. The temperament is gentle like the bright moon, the character is pure like the cold autumn frost. In childhood, she had the beautiful posture of a woman from the South, and her etiquette surpassed the beauty of Xishi. Originally hoping that the family would be honored because of her, and the light like broken jade would shine more on the clan, the four virtues would be passed down, and the glory would shine on the nine clans. But unfortunately, heaven did not bless her, and the beautiful fate ended in an instant. The lotus withered, and the shadow of the osmanthus tree also lost its brilliance. The fragrant trees withered, and the posture of the orchids also stopped growing. Lamenting that Heng'e flew to the moon palace and never returned, grieving that the deceased is like flowing water flowing into the sea and never returning. Grieving the pain of the parents, lamenting the thoughts of the in-laws. The writing is admirable, the character is grand and profound, and one reveres etiquette and music with honor. The ambition surpasses the past and present, and the actions conform to the gods. The spirit is as high as the clouds of Jade Mountain, and the benevolence is as broad as the water of the Canghai Sea. Military virtue is admirable. The temperament of wind and clouds, the appearance of stars. Emphasizing credibility, valuing righteousness, deep in benevolence, and noble in virtue. Accomplished in both literature and martial arts, he is an excellent talent of the Zifu (heavenly court). Loyal and faithful, he is the confidant of the monarch.


若不然者曷得軍城見重職掌班聲振人寰名芳邑 莊嚴尚書。伏願德光金簡為世上之股肱。聲振玉階顯名彰于日下 又愿般若智水灌注身田。旃檀香風資助性海。榮名克著保祿高遷。金紫與日月而爭輝。福壽比山河而永固 女人唸誦。高臺寶鏡云侵絕代之容。笑日瓊花霧捹南國之貌。乃知功德之嚴凈托佛力以潛。消施上件之名衣表傾誠。于投奈苑啟首金人。會七辨之緇流。演千身之化佛。是可以修塵累于□劫。是可以逾熱惱。于□今晨深愿既發。于里心功德必資于貴體。伏願諸天甘露承懇疑而鄰臨。大聖加威注醍醐于頂內。或有多生累止葉憑念以消除現世愆尤賴殊因而殄滅。

【English Translation】 English version: If it were not so, how could the military city value you, the reputation of the official in charge resound throughout the world, and your good name be known far and wide in the region? O dignified Minister! I sincerely hope that your virtuous radiance is like a golden inscription, making you a pillar of the world. May your reputation resound in the court, and your illustrious name be manifested under the sun. And may the wisdom-water of Prajna (般若, wisdom) irrigate your body-field, and the sandalwood-fragrant wind assist your nature-sea. May your glorious name be prominent, and may Baolu (保祿, likely a name) be promoted to a high position. May your official rank and glory compete with the sun and moon, and may your blessings and longevity be as everlasting as the mountains and rivers. The women recite: The precious mirror on the high platform reflects the face of an unparalleled beauty, and the smile is like jade flowers swaying in the mist, displaying the beauty of the southern country. From this, it can be known that the solemn purity of merit is subtly eliminated by relying on the power of the Buddha. In order to express sincerity, superior and precious clothing is donated, and the ceremony of opening the golden statue is initiated in Tou Nai Yuan (投奈苑, likely a place name), gathering monks of seven eloquence, and expounding the teachings of the thousand-bodied manifested Buddha. This can eliminate the dust and toil of countless kalpas (劫, eons), and can transcend the heat and vexation. This morning, the deep wish has already been made, and the merit in the heart will surely assist your noble body. I sincerely hope that the devas (諸天, gods) will descend nectar, receiving the earnest request and arriving, and the great sage will exert his divine power, pouring amrita (醍醐, nectar) into the top of your head. Perhaps the accumulated sins of many lifetimes can be eliminated by reciting, and the transgressions of this life can be extinguished by relying on special causes. (Great Tang Dynasty) June of the seventh year of Yuanhe (元和, era name), comforting words are often reviewed.
