諸菩薩求佛本業經一卷

若那師利菩薩問文殊師利菩薩:「菩薩何因,身有所行不令他人得長短、口所言不令他人得長短、心所念不令他人得長短?何緣身不法他人長短、口不說他人長短、心不念他人長短?
「持是身所行、口所言、心所念,眾阿羅漢、辟支佛,及諸天、人世間人民,所不能及知。
「身所行、口所言、心所念無能逮者、無有能動轉者;身所行、口所言、心所念無有能害者;身所行、口所言、心所念皆成就遂意。
「身所行事凈潔、口所言凈潔、心所念凈潔;身所行無瑕穢、口所言無瑕穢、心所念無瑕穢;身所行智慧在上頭、口所言智慧在上頭、心所念智慧在上頭。
「生時端正、生時智慧、生時佈施、生時種類中好、生時于尊貴家、生時面色好、生時善相與眾異。
「意所念皆強,多所護持不忘,無所愛惜。高才猛健,猛中尊、猛中貴、猛中勇、猛中勇猛、猛中無有比。
「所識為無有能斟量者,所議無有央數、所議為不可計,無有邊幅、無有能勝者,慈愛于佛

【English Translation】 English version Ratnaśrī Bodhisattva asked Mañjuśrī Bodhisattva: 'For what reason does a Bodhisattva's bodily actions not allow others to find fault, their spoken words not allow others to find fault, and their thoughts not allow others to find fault? Why does their body not criticize others' faults, their mouth not speak of others' faults, and their mind not think of others' faults?' 'Maintaining their bodily actions, spoken words, and thoughts, makes it so that all Arhats, Pratyekabuddhas, as well as all heavenly beings and people in the world, cannot reach or understand them.' 'Their bodily actions, spoken words, and thoughts, no one can catch up to, no one can shake or change; their bodily actions, spoken words, and thoughts, no one can harm; their bodily actions, spoken words, and thoughts, all can be accomplished as desired.' 'Their bodily actions are pure, their spoken words are pure, their thoughts are pure; their bodily actions have no flaws or defilements, their spoken words have no flaws or defilements, their thoughts have no flaws or defilements; their bodily actions have superior wisdom, their spoken words have superior wisdom, their thoughts have superior wisdom.' 'At birth, they are upright, at birth, they have wisdom, at birth, they are generous in giving, at birth, they are excellent among their kind, at birth, they are in a noble family, at birth, they have a beautiful complexion, at birth, their good features are different from the crowd.' 'Their thoughts are all strong, they protect and uphold much without forgetting, and there is nothing they are attached to. 'What they know cannot be measured by anyone, what they discuss has no limit, what they discuss is countless, without boundaries, and no one can surpass them, they are loving towards the Buddha.'
經,皆前世筋力行所致。
「多所出入語者人皆信用之,無有不敬附者;身所行無有不凈潔者;諸所視經無有不了知者。
「一心降意,思惟明曉。回念入禪,出入五音中、入於四事中、入於三事中、入於十二事中、過去當來今現在所出生福祐功德中、入於七覺意中、入于虛空無常無所掛礙中、入於六波羅蜜經中。
「悉具足念善慈愛愍傷等,心悉無所憎愛。入於十種力慧中,為諸天、梵釋、阿須輪、鬼神、龍所供養。
「悉愛護十方人——諸有驚怖者皆歸仰得解,諸有恐懼急緣者無不得安隱者——明於十方,如燈火、如炬火、如大火、如日月;過度諸世間人,如船佐、如船中人。
「有尊師于諸天、世間人民、蜎飛蠕動之類,極善極豪,都於大眾中最獨尊,雄中復重雄,極上無有與等者。
「如是法當何以致之?」
文殊師利菩薩謂若那師利菩薩言:「善哉,善哉!佛子所問乃爾,極大慈愛、多所度脫,乃作是發意問。所問者皆有佛子菩薩身所行、有口所言、有心所念。有意所念道,諸所施行功德悉可得,未曾增減。

【English Translation】 English version: The scriptures state that all is due to the strength and actions of past lives. Those who speak and act with trustworthiness are respected and followed by all; their bodily actions are without impurity; there is nothing in the scriptures they see that they do not understand. They focus their minds, contemplating with clarity. They reflect and enter into meditation, moving in and out of the five tones (gong, shang, jiao, zhi, yu), entering into the four truths (suffering, origin, cessation, path), entering into the three treasures (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), entering into the twelve links of dependent origination, entering into the blessings and merits born from the past, future, and present, entering into the seven factors of enlightenment (mindfulness, investigation of dharma, energy, joy, tranquility, concentration, equanimity), entering into the realm of emptiness, impermanence, and non-attachment, entering into the scriptures of the six paramitas (generosity, morality, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom). They are fully endowed with mindfulness, goodness, kindness, love, compassion, etc., and their hearts are without hatred or attachment. They enter into the ten powers of wisdom (power of knowing what is possible and impossible, power of knowing the karmic consequences of the three times, power of knowing all meditations, liberations, and samadhis, power of knowing the superior and inferior faculties, power of knowing various understandings, power of knowing various realms, power of knowing all paths leading to all destinations, power of unobstructed heavenly eye, power of unobstructed knowledge of past lives, power of permanently eradicating habits), and are revered by gods, Brahma, Indra, Asuras, ghosts, and dragons. They cherish all beings in the ten directions—those who are frightened find refuge in them and are liberated, those who are in fear and distress find peace—they illuminate the ten directions, like a lamp, like a torch, like a great fire, like the sun and moon; they ferry beings across the world, like a boatman, like those on a boat. They are extremely kind and heroic to gods, people of the world, and all creatures that crawl and fly, they are the most honored among all the masses, the most heroic among the heroes, the highest without equal. How can such a Dharma be attained?' Manjusri Bodhisattva said to Ratnasri Bodhisattva: 'Excellent, excellent! The question asked by the Buddha's disciple is indeed so, with great compassion and the ability to liberate many beings, that such a question is raised. What you ask is related to the actions of the Buddha's disciple's body, the words of their mouth, and the thoughts of their mind. The path thought of in the mind, and the merits of the actions performed, can all be attained, without increase or decrease. The scriptures of the Buddha, the Buddhas of the past, future, and present all receive and practice these teachings, all are accomplished from these teachings, all bring peace to the people of the world, the scriptures spoken are all received truthfully, all the evil karma of past lives is extinguished, all the scriptures are received and understood, and all is joyful.'

「菩薩居家法,心念言:『十方天下人皆使莫為愛慾所拘繫,悉入虛空法中。』
「菩薩孝順供養父母時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使早得佛道,以當度脫十方天下人。』
「菩薩妻子共居時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使諸有愛慾悉消去。』
「菩薩居家有所思時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使脫于愛慾中,得道極過度。』
「菩薩居家相娛樂作音樂時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使聽受諸經,悉得聞如是作音樂時欲聽聞。』
「菩薩著七寶時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使脫于重擔去,悉得止休息。』
「菩薩在婇女中相娛樂時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使悉入佛經中,拔棄于淫泆。』
「菩薩在樓上時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使上佛經講堂上,悉受諸經,無有與等者。』
「菩薩佈施時,心念言:『十方天下人皆使諸所有但欲施與人,無有貪愛者。』

【English Translation】 English version 'May all beings throughout the ten directions be able to go forth, never again to return into the desires of love, and have no further craving.' 'If a Bodhisattva arrives at a Buddhist temple, they should think: 'May all beings throughout the ten directions only think of the Buddha, and all enter into the scriptures, without any further hindrance.' 'When a Bodhisattva goes to their Upadhyaya (teacher), they should think: 'May all beings throughout the ten directions have their good thoughts fulfilled, and all enter into the true scriptures.' 'When a Bodhisattva requests to become a Shramana (monk), they should think: 'May all beings throughout the ten directions, wherever they go, achieve all things, and never again regret or stop halfway.' 'When a Bodhisattva leaves their lay life, they should think: 'May all beings throughout the ten directions attain the utmost clarity in merit, and never be lazy.'
