如是我聞:
一時佛在如來神力所持之處,與十不可說不可說百千億那由他佛剎微塵等菩薩摩訶薩俱,前後圍繞,而為說法,皆已成就普賢之行,普賢菩薩摩訶薩而為上首。
時眾會中,有十菩薩摩訶薩,各與十不可說不可說百千億那由他佛剎微塵等菩薩眷屬,從十方處,忽然出現,皆坐無礙莊嚴師子之座,其名曰普光藏菩薩、甚深藏菩薩、威德光明藏菩薩、云音藏菩薩、金剛藏菩薩、普音不動威光藏菩薩、普名稱威光藏菩薩、山王不動威光藏菩薩、普現眾像威光藏菩薩、十力清凈威光藏菩薩。彼諸菩薩出現之時,於此會中,唯除普賢,其餘一切菩薩大眾,靡不傾動,所有威光亦盡不現。一一菩薩,皆雨十不可說不可說百千億那由他香云、涂香云、鬘云、衣云、寶蓋幢幡云、清凈世界云、眾寶樓閣云、菩薩眾會道場云、大光明網普照云、菩提道場莊嚴云、如來形像袈裟云,各興如是不可思議諸供養云,充滿法界,供養如來。斯諸菩薩所坐之座,眾寶莊嚴,微妙清凈,于彼一一莊嚴事中,普現一切無量世界、無量眾生、無量諸佛、無量菩薩,又現

【English Translation】 English version The Great Vaipulya Sutra Spoken by Samantabhadra Translated by Tripiṭaka Śikṣānanda of Khotan during the Tang Dynasty Thus have I heard: At one time, the Buddha was in a place sustained by the spiritual power of the Tathagata, together with bodhisattvas mahasattvas (great bodhisattvas) as numerous as the dust particles of ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha-lands, surrounded front and back, expounding the Dharma. All of them had accomplished the practices of Samantabhadra (a bodhisattva, representing the embodiment of all bodhisattva vows and practices), with Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Mahasattva as their leader. At that time, in the assembly, there were ten bodhisattvas mahasattvas, each leading retinues of bodhisattvas as numerous as the dust particles of ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha-lands, who suddenly appeared from the ten directions. They all sat on unobstructed, adorned lion thrones. Their names were: Universal Light Treasury Bodhisattva, Profound Treasury Bodhisattva, Majestic Light Treasury Bodhisattva, Cloud Sound Treasury Bodhisattva, Vajra Treasury Bodhisattva, Universal Sound Immovable Majestic Light Treasury Bodhisattva, Universal Name Majestic Light Treasury Bodhisattva, Mountain King Immovable Majestic Light Treasury Bodhisattva, Universal Manifestation of All Forms Majestic Light Treasury Bodhisattva, and Ten Powers Pure Majestic Light Treasury Bodhisattva. When these bodhisattvas appeared, in this assembly, except for Samantabhadra, all the other bodhisattva assemblies felt shaken, and all their majestic lights completely disappeared. Each bodhisattva rained down ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of fragrant clouds, scented powder clouds, garland clouds, robe clouds, jeweled canopy and banner clouds, pure world clouds, jeweled pavilion clouds, bodhisattva assembly practice place clouds, great light net universally illuminating clouds, bodhi practice place adornment clouds, and Tathagata image kasaya clouds. Each raised such inconceivable offering clouds, filling the Dharma realm, making offerings to the Tathagata. The seats on which these bodhisattvas sat were adorned with various jewels, subtle and pure. In each of these adorned things, all immeasurable worlds, immeasurable sentient beings, immeasurable Buddhas, and immeasurable bodhisattvas were universally manifested, and also manifested
不可說不可說過去未來無量世界,及彼諸佛,現坐道場,為化眾生,轉妙法輪,諸菩薩眾,供養如來,凈修一切波羅蜜行,常無斷絕。
爾時眾會,咸作是念:「此諸菩薩,從何世界諸佛所來?」即共請問普賢菩薩。
時普賢菩薩,普告一切菩薩眾言:「諸佛子!汝等各自推其來處。」
時無礙眼菩薩,則入普迅疾三昧、遍至三昧、明照法界三昧、具一切神通三昧、了一切境界三昧、現一切眾生身神通三昧、知一切佛剎三昧,入如是等十阿僧祇百千億那由他菩薩三昧,以三昧力,自見其身,悉詣十方一切世界乃至一切微塵處中,而不能見彼諸菩薩所從來土,及於如來修梵行處。其餘一切菩薩大眾,各各別入菩薩三昧,皆不能見,亦復如是。咸從定起,白普賢菩薩言:「我等各入十阿僧祇百千億那由他菩薩三昧,了不能見彼諸菩薩所從來處。」
普賢菩薩復告之言:「彼所從來諸佛國土,甚深廣大極難可見,汝等今可更共推求。」
時諸菩薩,一一復入十佛剎微塵等菩薩三昧,求亦不見,各以其事,重白普賢。
爾時,普賢菩薩,從座而起,上升虛空,右繞世尊,無數匝已,即于空中,普觀眾會,作如是言:「諸佛子!汝觀佛身,無礙莊嚴,三世平等,法界諸剎,無不普入,十方

【English Translation】 English version: Incalculable, unspeakable past and future limitless worlds, and those Buddhas, now sitting in the Bodhi (enlightenment) place, for the sake of transforming sentient beings, turning the wonderful Dharma wheel. All the Bodhisattvas, making offerings to the Tathagata (Buddha), purely cultivating all the Paramita (perfections) practices, constantly without interruption. At that time, the assembly all thought: 'From which world and which Buddha did these Bodhisattvas come?' Then they together asked Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (symbol of the embodiment of all Bodhisattva vows and practices). At that time, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, universally told all the Bodhisattvas, saying: 'Oh, sons of the Buddha! You each try to deduce their origin.' At that time, Anantadrsti Bodhisattva (symbol of the Bodhisattva with unobstructed vision), then entered the Samadhi of Universal Swiftness, the Samadhi of Universal Arrival, the Samadhi of Illuminating the Dharma Realm, the Samadhi of Possessing All Supernatural Powers, the Samadhi of Understanding All Realms, the Samadhi of Manifesting the Supernatural Powers of All Sentient Beings, the Samadhi of Knowing All Buddha Lands, entering such as these ten Asamkhya (countless) hundreds of thousands of billions of Nayuta (a very large number) Bodhisattva Samadhis. By the power of Samadhi, he saw his own body, reaching all the worlds of the ten directions, even to all the places of dust particles, yet he could not see the lands from which those Bodhisattvas came, nor the place where the Tathagata cultivated pure conduct. All the other Bodhisattva assemblies, each entered different Bodhisattva Samadhis, and also could not see, it was the same. They all arose from Samadhi, and told Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, saying: 'We each entered ten Asamkhya hundreds of thousands of billions of Nayuta Bodhisattva Samadhis, yet still could not see the place from which those Bodhisattvas came.' Samantabhadra Bodhisattva again told them, saying: 'The Buddha lands from which they came are very deep and vast, extremely difficult to see. You can now try to seek together again.' At that time, all the Bodhisattvas, one by one, again entered Bodhisattva Samadhis equal to the dust particles of ten Buddha lands, seeking, yet still could not see, each with their own situation, again told Samantabhadra. At that time, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, arose from his seat, ascended into the empty space, circumambulated the World Honored One countless times to the right, then in the empty space, universally looked at the assembly, and said: 'Oh, sons of the Buddha! You see the Buddha's body, unobstructed and adorned, equal in the three times, all the Buddha lands of the Dharma Realm, there is none that is not universally entered, the ten directions'
所有一切世界、一切如來、一切菩薩、一切眾生、一切諸趣,靡不影現如來身中,隨諸眾生心之所樂,悉令開悟。汝等應住普境界眼、盡虛空界清凈慧眼、了一切境廣大智眼,又應普請十方一切諸佛護念,皆應一心,離一切處、一切依止、一切執著、一切諸有,觀如來身,應入十力微細境界,於一境界,了達一切無盡境界,觀如來身。」

【English Translation】 English version: All worlds, all Tathagatas (Buddhas), all Bodhisattvas (enlightenment-seeking beings), all sentient beings, all realms of existence, none are not reflected in the body of the Tathagata, and according to what all sentient beings delight in, all are made to awaken. You should dwell in the Universal Realm Eye, the Pure Wisdom Eye of the entire space realm, the Vast Wisdom Eye that understands all realms, and you should also universally invite all Buddhas of the ten directions to protect and remember you. You should all be of one mind, detached from all places, all dependencies, all attachments, all forms of existence, observe the body of the Tathagata, and enter the subtle realm of the Ten Powers (of a Buddha). In one realm, understand all endless realms, and observe the body of the Tathagata. In his two knees, there was a world named the True Gold Treasury, in that land there was a Buddha named the Gold Treasury King, dwelling in the world and teaching the Dharma; the Majestic Light Treasury Bodhisattva Mahasattva, together with ten unspeakable, unspeakable hundreds of billions of Nayutas of Buddha-land dust particles of Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, came from that Buddha-land and sat in this assembly. In his heart, there is a world named 'Śrīprabhā-garbha' (Womb of Auspicious Light), where there is a Buddha named 'Subhāva-śrī-garbha' (Womb of Auspicious Form), who dwells in the world and teaches the Dharma. The Bodhisattva Mahāsattva 'Samantaghoṣa-acala-tejas-garbha' (Womb of Universal Sound, Immovable Radiance), together with as many Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas as the dust particles of ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha-lands, came from that Buddha-land and sat in this assembly. In his two shoulders, there is a world named 'Suvarṇa' (Golden), where there is a Buddha named 'Suvarṇarāja' (Golden King), who dwells in the world and teaches the Dharma. The Bodhisattva Mahāsattva 'Samantanāma-tejas-garbha' (Womb of Universal Name, Radiance), together with as many Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas as the dust particles of ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha-lands, came from that Buddha-land and sat in this assembly. In his mouth, there is a world named 'Ratna-vyūha' (Jewel Array), where there is a Buddha named 'Amitaprabha-vyūha-rāja' (King of Immeasurable Light Array), who dwells in the world and teaches the Dharma. The Bodhisattva Mahāsattva 'Śailarāja-acala-tejas-garbha' (Womb of Mountain King, Immovable Radiance), together with as many Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas as the dust particles of ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha-lands, came from that Buddha-land and sat in this assembly. In his brow, there is a world named 'Dharmadhātu-akṣaya-garbha' (Womb of Inexhaustible Dharma Realm), where there is a Buddha named 'Tryadhva-akṣaya-jñāna' (Inexhaustible Wisdom of the Three Times), who dwells in the world and teaches the Dharma. The Bodhisattva Mahāsattva 'Sarvarūpa-darśana-tejas-garbha' (Womb of Manifestation of All Forms, Radiance), together with as many Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas as the dust particles of ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha-lands, came from that Buddha-land and sat in this assembly. In his head, there is a world named 'Avikṣipta-dhāraṇa' (Unscattered Retention), where there is a Buddha named 'Ratna-puṣpa-kūṭa' (Pile of Jewel Flowers), who dwells in the world and teaches the Dharma. The Bodhisattva Mahāsattva 'Daśabala-viśuddha-tejas-garbha' (Womb of Ten Powers, Pure Radiance), together with as many Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas as the dust particles of ten inexpressible, inexpressible hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha-lands, came from that Buddha-land and sat in this assembly. At that time, all the Bodhisattvas, having seen such endless worlds, the Buddha's sacred sites, the assemblies of Bodhisattvas, and the Buddha's miraculous transformations, each attained the 'Dharmadhātu-garbha' (Womb of the Dharma Realm).
三昧,等十佛剎微塵數諸大三昧一切法地陀羅尼,等十佛剎微塵數諸陀羅尼離垢藏般若波羅蜜,等十佛剎微塵數諸波羅蜜力電光,等十佛剎微塵數一切智電光。
時普賢菩薩,復告大眾:「諸佛子!此法唯是行普賢行,為善知識所攝受者,乃得聞見。是故汝等,於此法門,作金剛心,增上意樂,護持讀誦,勿令忘失。」
說此法時,彼諸菩薩摩訶薩等,歡喜信受。

【English Translation】 English version: Samadhi (concentration), as many great samadhis as the dust particles in ten Buddha lands, all-dharma-ground dharani (mantra), as many dharanis as the dust particles in ten Buddha lands, stainless-treasury prajna-paramita (perfection of wisdom), as many paramitas as the dust particles in ten Buddha lands, power-lightning, as many omniscient-lightning as the dust particles in ten Buddha lands. At that time, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva further addressed the assembly: 'Oh, Buddha-sons! This Dharma can only be heard and seen by those who practice the conduct of Samantabhadra and are embraced by virtuous teachers. Therefore, you should have a diamond-like mind towards this Dharma, increase your aspiration, uphold and recite it, and not let it be forgotten or lost.'
