現在西方去此界 十萬億剎安樂土 佛世尊號阿彌陀 我願往生歸命禮
愿共諸眾生往生安樂國

成佛已來歷十劫 壽命方將無有量 法身光輪遍法界 照世盲冥故頂禮
愿共諸眾生往生安樂國

智慧光明不可量 故佛又號無量光 有量諸相蒙光曉 是故稽首真實明

Namo Amitabha (Explanation: Immeasurable Life. According to the sutras and praises, also called Sukhavati)
Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land.
Now in the West, beyond this world, are hundreds of thousands of millions of lands in the Land of Bliss, The World Honored One is named Amitabha; I vow to be reborn there and take refuge.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land.
Since becoming a Buddha, ten kalpas have passed; His lifespan is immeasurable. The light of His Dharma body pervades the Dharma realm; I prostrate myself before Him who illuminates the darkness of the world.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land.
The light of wisdom is immeasurable; therefore, the Buddha is also called Immeasurable Light. All limited forms are illuminated by His light; therefore, I bow my head to the True Illumination.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land.
The liberation wheel is infinitely vast; therefore, the Buddha is also called Boundless Light. Those touched by His light are liberated from existence and non-existence; therefore, I bow my head to the Equal Awakening.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land.
The clouds of light are unobstructed like empty space; therefore, the Buddha is also called Unobstructed Light. All that is obstructed is illuminated by His light; therefore, I bow my head to the Inconceivable.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land.
His pure light is without compare; therefore, the Buddha is also called Incomparable Light. Those who encounter this light have their karmic bonds removed; therefore, I bow my head to the Ultimate Refuge.

The Buddha's light shines most supremely, therefore the Buddha is also known as the King of Radiant Flame. The darkness of the Three Lower Realms is opened by the Buddha's light, therefore I prostrate to the Great Worthy of Offerings.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo (Homage) with heartfelt devotion, I pay homage to the Western Amitabha Buddha (Amitabha Buddha).
The Buddha's light is clear and bright, its color surpasses all others, therefore the Buddha is also known as Pure Light. Once one receives the illumination of the Buddha's light, sinful defilements are removed, and all attain liberation, therefore I prostrate.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo (Homage) with heartfelt devotion, I pay homage to the Western Amitabha Buddha (Amitabha Buddha).
Compassionate light is widely bestowed, giving peace and joy, therefore the Buddha is also known as Light of Joy. Wherever the Buddha's light reaches, one obtains Dharma joy, I bow my head and prostrate, receiving great comfort.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo (Homage) with heartfelt devotion, I pay homage to the Western Amitabha Buddha (Amitabha Buddha).
The Buddha's light can break through the darkness of ignorance, therefore the Buddha is also known as Light of Wisdom. All Buddhas and practitioners of the Three Vehicles commonly praise and extol, therefore I bow my head.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo (Homage) with heartfelt devotion, I pay homage to the Western Amitabha Buddha (Amitabha Buddha).
The light shines universally at all times, therefore the Buddha is also known as Unceasing Light. Hearing the power of the Buddha's light, the mind will not be interrupted, and all can be reborn, therefore I prostrate.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo (Homage) with heartfelt devotion, I pay homage to the Western Amitabha Buddha (Amitabha Buddha).
The Buddha's light, apart from the Buddhas, no one can fathom, therefore the Buddha is also known as Inconceivable Light. The Buddhas of the ten directions all praise rebirth, extolling its merits, therefore I bow my head.

【English Translation】 English version Its light surpasses the sun and moon. Śākyamuni Buddha (the founder of Buddhism) praises it endlessly, therefore I bow to the incomparable one. May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss (Sukhāvatī, the pure land of Amitābha Buddha). Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitābha Buddha (the Buddha of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss). May you have compassion and protect me, so that the seeds of Dharma may grow, in this life and the next. May the Buddha always embrace me. May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss. Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva (the Bodhisattva of Compassion) of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss. Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Mahāsthāmaprāpta Bodhisattva (the Bodhisattva of Great Strength) of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Moreover, Avalokiteśvara (the Bodhisattva who contemplates the sounds of the world) and Mahāsthāmaprāpta (the Bodhisattva who illuminates all beings with the light of wisdom, liberating them from the calamities of blood, light, and weapons) are the most supreme and foremost among all the holy beings. Their compassionate light shines upon the entire great thousand world system, attending the Buddha on the left and right, manifesting divine majesty. They liberate all sentient beings with karmic connections without ceasing, like the tides of the great ocean, never missing their time. Such is the greatly compassionate Mahāsthāmaprāpta Bodhisattva, I wholeheartedly bow my head and prostrate myself in reverence.
May I and all sentient beings be reborn in the Land of Bliss (Sukhāvatī, the pure land of Amitābha Buddha).
Namo (I take refuge in) with utmost sincerity, I pay homage to the Western Amitābha Buddha (Amitābha, the Buddha of Infinite Light).
All sentient beings who are born in the Land of Bliss are endowed with the thirty-two excellent marks. Their wisdom is complete, enabling them to deeply enter the Dharma, thoroughly understand the essentials of the Path, without any obstacles. According to the sharpness or dullness of their faculties, they accomplish various kinds of forbearance, from two forbearances to countless forbearances. They possess the power of knowing past lives and the five supernatural powers, able to use them freely, until they attain Buddhahood, never again falling into evil realms. Unless it is to manifest in other worlds of the five turbidities (Dvesa, greed, hatred, delusion, pride, and doubt), like the great Śākyamuni Buddha (Śākyamuni). Being born in the Land of Bliss brings about great benefit, therefore I sincerely bow my head and prostrate myself in reverence.
May I and all sentient beings be reborn in the Land of Bliss.
Namo with utmost sincerity, I pay homage to the Western Amitābha Buddha.
The Bodhisattvas of the Land of Bliss, relying on the Buddha's divine power, can reach the ten directions in the time it takes for a meal. They go to countless Buddha worlds, respectfully making offerings to all the Tathāgatas (Tathāgata, title of a Buddha). Flowers, incense, and music appear according to their thoughts, jeweled canopies and banners appear at will. They are rare and unparalleled, beyond description, scattering flowers and offering various precious treasures. They transform into flower canopies, their light shining brightly, their fragrance pervading everywhere. The smaller flower canopies are four hundred miles in size, while the larger ones can cover an entire Buddha world. Following the order of the Buddhas, they transform and depart, and these Bodhisattvas are all delighted. In the empty sky, they play heavenly music, elegantly praising the Buddha's virtues and extolling the Buddha's wisdom. Having listened to the teachings and made offerings, they return through the air before eating. Their divine power is free and immeasurable, therefore I bow to the supreme and unsurpassed One.

【English Translation】 English version: Coming and going, advancing and retreating, are like floating on a boat; taking benefit and peace as the goal, abandoning concerns about comfort or discomfort. Severing the dualistic thoughts of 'that' (Nirvana) and 'already' (Samsara), viewing both as emptiness, using the torch of wisdom to illuminate the long night. The Three Clearnesses (Threefold Knowledge: knowledge of past lives, knowledge of the future, and knowledge of the extinction of outflows) and Six Supernatural Powers (Six Abhijñās: divine eye, divine ear, knowledge of others' minds, knowledge of past lives, magical powers, and extinction of outflows) are all fully complete; the Bodhisattva's (Bodhisattva, a being who aspires to attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings) myriad practices permeate the mind and eye. Such merit is boundless and immeasurable, therefore, with utmost sincerity, I prostrate and pay homage.

The Sravakas (Sravaka, a disciple who attains enlightenment by hearing the teachings) and Bodhisattvas (Bodhisattva) in the Land of Bliss (Sukhavati), their wisdom of humans and devas is all-pervasive. Their physical appearances are dignified and without difference; only to accord with the customs of other worlds are different names listed. Their countenances are upright and incomparable; their subtle bodies are not of humans or devas. They possess a body of emptiness and an ultimate essence; therefore, I bow to their power of equality.
May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss (Sukhavati).

The Bodhisattvas (Bodhisattva) and Sravakas (Sravaka) in the Land of Bliss (Sukhavati) are incomparable in this world. Sakyamuni Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha), with unobstructed great eloquence, uses various analogies to show a small fraction of them. Even the most lowly beggar compared to a king, and the king compared to a Chakravartin (Universal Ruler), progressing in this way up to the Sixth Heaven (Paranirmitavasavartin), the differences are as vast as the initial comparison between the beggar and the king. Using the forms of devas to describe them, the difference is hundreds of millions of times, not even of the same kind. All of this is accomplished by the power of Amitabha Buddha's (Amitabha Buddha) Dharma-treasure vows; I bow and prostrate to the power of Amitabha Buddha's (Amitabha Buddha) great vows.

All those who are reborn there possess pure and incomparable bodies. Their supernormal powers, merits, and palaces, their garments and adornments are like those of the Six Heavens. A precious alms bowl appears naturally when needed, instantly filled with hundreds of delicious delicacies. They take food by seeing colors and smelling fragrances, suddenly feeling full and experiencing pleasure. What they taste is pure and without attachment; when finished, it disappears, and reappears when needed again. Peaceful and joyful, it is next to Nirvana (nirvāṇa), therefore, with utmost sincerity, I prostrate my head to the ground.

Countless Bodhisattvas come, to plant the roots of merit, offering sincere reverence. Some play music and sing praises to the Buddha, some extol the Buddha's wisdom illuminating the world. Some offer heavenly flowers and garments, some, seeing the Pure Land, arise with equal vows. Such holy beings all appear before us, receiving predictions of Buddhahood through the eight Brahma sounds. All Bodhisattvas increase their vows and practices, therefore I prostrate to Bhagavān. The Bodhi tree is four million 'li' (Chinese mile) high, with a circumference of fifty 'yojana' (ancient Indian unit of length). Its branches and leaves cover two hundred thousand 'li', naturally formed from various treasures. It is adorned with Moonlight Mani jewels and Sea Wheel jewels, as well as the King of all Treasures. Precious jewel necklaces hang all around, displaying hundreds of thousands of color variations. Its radiant flames surpass a thousand suns, covered by an endless net of treasures. All magnificent scenes appear as desired. I bow and prostrate to this Bodhi tree of the 'bodhimanda' (place of enlightenment).

A gentle breeze blows through the precious tree, emitting the sound of the wonderful Dharma, universally spreading to all Buddha-lands in the ten directions. Receiving the blessings of the Bodhi tree of the 'bodhimanda' (place of enlightenment), the six senses are clear and pure when facing objects, even until the attainment of Buddhahood. The sounds heard are gentle and harmonious, attaining the 'anutpattika-dharma-kshanti' (patience with the unborn dharma), and according to the depth of each person's capacity, they can all attain some realization. Where does the majestic power of this tree come from? It all comes from the five powers of the Tathagata (Thus Come One). That is, divine power, the power of the original vow, and the power to fulfill the vows of all sentient beings, the clear, firm, and ultimate vow. The Tathagata's compassion and skillful means are immeasurable. I take refuge and bow to this truly immeasurable merit.

From the worldly emperors to the kings of the sixth heaven in the desire realm, their music gradually becomes more wonderful, having eight levels. Moreover, there are naturally produced wonderful musical performances, the Dharma sounds of which are pure and harmonious, delighting the mind and spirit. Its mournful, elegant, and upright tones surpass the ten directions, therefore I bow to this pure music.

Seven-jeweled forests surround the world, their light shining brightly, reflecting each other. Flowers, fruits, branches, and leaves intertwine, I bow my head to the accumulation of merits from the fundamental vows.

Gentle breezes constantly blow through the jeweled trees, producing five tones, harmonious in the 'gong' and 'shang' scales. Subtle and elegant melodies arise naturally, therefore I prostrate to this pure fragrance.

That land is vast and boundless, covered by nets of numerous jewels. Adorned with gold threads, pearls, and extraordinary treasures, and indescribable precious objects. Jeweled bells hang all around, stirred by the gentle wind, emitting wonderful Dharma sounds. Harmonious and elegant virtuous fragrance constantly flows, those who hear it do not give rise to worldly afflictions and habits. This wind touches the body, bringing joy, like a bhiksu (bhiksu, a Buddhist monastic) attaining Nirodha-samāpatti (Nirodha-samāpatti, a state of meditative absorption). The wind scatters flowers, filling the Buddha-land, arranged in order according to color, without mixing. The flowers are soft in texture, emitting a strong fragrance, the foot sinks four fingers deep when stepped upon. As the foot is lifted, it returns to its original state, after use, the ground opens and disappears without a trace. With the changing seasons, the flowers bloom six times, this inconceivable reward, therefore I prostrate.

Lotus flowers of numerous jewels fill the world, each flower has hundreds of thousands of millions of petals. Namo, with utmost sincerity, I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha (Amitabha) of the Western Pure Land. The pavilions and halls there are not made by human hands, but are formed by the transformation of seven treasures, carved and adorned. Bright moon pearls interweave into dew-like curtains, each place has bathing ponds that match the surroundings. The water of the eight merits fills the ponds, its color, taste, and fragrance are like nectar. The bottom of the golden pond is covered with silver sand, and the sand of the seven-treasure ponds reflects each other in this way. Fragrant trees on the banks of the ponds droop down, covering the water, the fragrance of Chandana (Chandana) constantly flows. Heavenly flowers are dazzling and serve as decorations, the light shines on the water, like beautiful clouds. The retribution of no outflows is inconceivable, therefore I bow my head to the treasure of merit. May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Bliss. Bodhisattvas and Shravakas enter the treasure ponds, they can choose the depth as they wish, satisfying their needs. If they need to wash their bodies, water will naturally pour in, and if they want the water to return, it will immediately recede. The water temperature is suitable, neither too cold nor too hot, the spirit is comfortable, the body is joyful, and it washes away the defilements in the heart. The water is clear and transparent, as if without form, the treasure sand reflects the bottom of the pond, making it seem shallow. The water flows slowly, circulating and irrigating each other, gently and comfortably, making both humans and spirits feel harmonious. Tiny waves emit immeasurable wonderful sounds, and according to the different capacities of sentient beings, they hear different Dharma. Or they hear the subtle chapters of the Three Jewels (Triratna), or they hear about tranquility, emptiness, and no-self (Anatta). Or they hear about the immeasurable Paramitas (Paramita), as well as the ten powers of the Buddha, the unique qualities, and various wisdoms. Or they hear about non-action and non-origination forbearance, and even the nectar empowerment Dharma. According to their respective capacities, they all feel joyful, in accordance with the true meaning of the Three Jewels. The path practiced by Bodhisattvas and Shravakas, everything can be heard here. The suffering of the Three Evil Paths (Three Evil Paths) is forever closed, there are only natural sounds of happiness. 【English Translation】 English version Namo, with utmost sincerity I take refuge in Mahāsthāmaprāpta Bodhisattva (the Bodhisattva of great power, who illuminates all with the light of wisdom, liberating beings from the calamities of blood, light, swords, and weapons) of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Peace and Joy (the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss). Namo, with utmost sincerity I take refuge in the pure great assembly of all the Bodhisattvas of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. May I, together with all sentient beings, be reborn in the Land of Peace and Joy.
